Congressman Uses McKinney Racism Defense

Congressman Danny Davis a Democrat in the 7th District of Illinois said he was the victim of racial profiling because he was pulled over early in the morning while driving a few of his friends. Two white police officers pulled him over and issued a $75 ticket because he went over the center line. Davis is crying racism and said he can’t think of any other reason he was pulled over other than he is black and had black people in the car. How about her drove over the line and that is the reason?

I know it is hard for some people to grasp but if you cross the center line real early in the morning the police believe you might have been drinking and they pull you over. If you have been drinking you get arrested for DUI and a ticket for failure to stay right of the center line. I wonder if the cops gave this guy a sobriety test. He might have been drinking and should have been arrested for DUI but instead got a break. He committed a traffic violation and got a ticket and it has nothing to do with him being black.

I am tired of people crying because they get a ticket. I have been pulled over a number of times when I worked swing shift. It seemed that every Friday or Saturday some of us who were on our way home from work were stopped just after midnight so they could see if we had been drinking. I am white and get pulled over. The teens in my area get pulled over all the time and they are white. This Congressman should be thankful they he just got a ticket and he should give up playing the race card.

Of course, someone will tell me that it is because of oppression 200 years ago but if you want to be treated equally start acting like an equal and quit crying when you are caught breaking the law.

But Don’t Hang Bad Guys

Stephen King’s Mist has been made into a movie and the ending was changed. King likes the ending so much he thinks anyone who reveals it should be killed:

Frank wrote a new ending that I loved. It is the most shocking ending ever and there should be a law passed stating that anybody who reveals the last 5 minutes of this film should be hung from their neck until dead. First Showing

It is too bad these Hollywood types don’t feel the death penalty is warranted for actual criminals. They all cried about Hussein, they cried about Tookie Williams and they protest every time some murderous thug is set to be executed.

No, they will protest killing a murderer and will protest the “right” to murder an unborn child. And now, God forbid anyone discloses the ending to a King movie.

Clinton Mocks Obama’s Experience

Hillary Clinton mocked a statement by B. Hussein Obama concerning his experience. He indicated that because he lived in foreign countries as a child he gained a different perspective on foreign policy challenges. Hillary remarked:

‘‘I offer the experience of being battle-tested in the political wars here at home,’’ said Clinton, arguing that her background not only was superior as a potential president but also made her the most electable Democrat.

‘‘For 15 years I’ve been the object of the Republican attack machine and I’m still here,’’ she said. Chicago Sun Times

Once again I must ask the question, what experience does she have? What does she have that makes her any more qualified than Obama? She is a one and a half term Senator and since she has been campaigning for President since just after the last election, she really only has one term. She spent all her time in the White House as the First Lady. Granted, she stuck her nose in the country’s business but she was not elected she held no position of leadership. The only reason she was even there is because she was married to the guy that was elected. This does not equate to experience.

I know she has this delusion that she has leadership experience because she was First Lady but deciding what desert to serve at White House meals is not experience and neither is deciding on the pattern for the White House China. Perhaps if she released her records from that time we could see if her work actually backs up her claim but since she has not released it, it is a good bet that there is nothing to substantiate her claim. John Kerry tried this with his military record but he refused to release his records so it was obvious that he was covering up (he still has not released them). Hillary could put an end to the experience once and for all by releasing records that show she has leadership experience but she needs to release ALL of them so we can get the entire picture.

As far as I am concerned the time she spent in the White House is a non issue and does not count. Her time in the Senate is the only experience she has and her record is unremarkable. As far as being attacked for 15 years and still being here, big deal. Ted Kennedy has been in the Senate for 46 years and he has been attacked but he sticks around. That does not mean he is effective or can lead anything.

As far as being attacked by the VRWC, she is attacked by her own party as well. There are many who do not like her but will vote for Satan if it means putting a Democrat back in charge. She has a disapproval rating above 50% so there are plenty of Democrats who are not thrilled with her. Additionally, She has lost her lead in Iowa and now has to play catch up to the “less experienced” Obama.

Hillary, you have little experience and have never led anything. Continually saying you have does not change this indisputable fact.

Ron Paul Triples Support in Iowa!

The latest polls are out for the GOP contest in Iowa and they show Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney in a virtual tie for the top spot. Though touted as a surprise the real surprise is that Ron Paul has tripled his support in that state. Paul polled at 2% in the past and is now up at 6% which ties him with John McCain.

Paul supporters will no doubt be pleased that their candidate’s message is getting out and giving him better numbers as the primary approaches. If Paul keeps this pace he could be the front runner by the time the polls open in January.

Keep it up Ron-bots, your message is being heard.
