Another Crackdown on Illegal Immigrants

Federal agents raided eight Casa Fiesta restaurants in Ohio and arrested workers who were brought here illegally to work. The feds nabbed cooks, dishwashers, and waitresses who were brought here in violation of the law. Fifty-eight illegals were arrested and will probably be deported. Of course, advocates for the law breakers reacted to the raids:
… part of larger workplace enforcement strategy that infuriates immigrant advocates, who say it brings down the hammer on hapless workers.
“These people are not criminals,” said David Leopold, a Cleveland immigration lawyer. “The worst thing you can say about them is they came here to feed their families.” The Plain Dealer
From what planet is this moron where people who break the law are NOT criminals. They are here illegally which means they broke the law which in turn means they are criminals. The fact that they only want to feed their families makes no difference whatsoever. Regardless of the motive, these people are law breakers. If a guy robs a liquor store so he will have money to feed his family he is still going to go to jail for the crime. The fact that he only wanted to feed his family is of no consequence.
The only thing I find a problem with in all this is that they did not say whether the employers would be fined. Any employer who willingly hires illegals should be fined a huge sum of money per illegal. This will provide a great incentive for them not to break the law and if they hire too many the fines can put them out of business. A suitable punishment for employers who exploit illegals and abuse our system.
We need the feds to step up these raids and start shipping the illegals out by the truckloads. We also need to fine the employers and use the money to start building the wall on our southern border.

Wall and mine field if you ask me. Build two fences, one chain link that has signs every 6 feet that clearly states that they are not to cross the American border at this position. Anyone attempting to cross at unauthorized positions will be met with deadly force. The second will be a large concrete one like the ones they use to line the interstates in the suburbs.
The flow of illegals is a security risk. It is also an affront to those that go through the due process of getting visas and becoming citizens. Not only that the addition of Spanish documents and such to our businesses and products is wrong. It is preferential treatment to one group over another. English should be the official language of the U.S.A. that way all immigrants are treated equally along with its citizens. We all have to learn English. Anything else is discriminatory, to avoid this businesses would have to print instructions in every language, keep documents on hand in every language, and have interpreters available for every language.
Not only that but financial institutions that pandered to illegals are taking a hit as they default on debts. Who’s gonna have to bail them out? The U.S. tax payer.
Don’t forget that while we are in a deporting kind of mood, to deport the hundred’s of thousands of sub-human gang member illegals in our prisons back to the streets of Mexico instead of lounging in our prisons.
Reason – could not have said it better myself. Great post BD.
I realize I forgot to mention that the mines go between the chain link and the concrete walls. The signs will be in both Spanish and English as that’s only fair.

Very well said, all of you.
Just one more thing to add;
Send the employers of illegals back to what-ever country he hired illegals from, and deny him return to America.
Give his factory to the highest bidder to pay for the cost to export him and his illegal labor OUT.
If he hired illegals from several countries, I am understanding and generous; send him back to each country, in pieces.
“Remove the “punishment” from “Crime and Punishment” and all that remains is “crime.”
