Be On the Look Out

A police officer was hit and killed last night in Baltimore by a hit and run driver. Here is the article from WBAL:

A Maryland Transportation Authority Police Officer is dead and police are looking for a hit and run driver and vehicle.

The officer was struck and killed along I-95 in the area of I-395.

Police are said to be looking for the alleged hit and run vehicle described as a a green Ford Explorer possibly driven by a woman…with a temporary Delaware tag.

The tag number is XB719820.

The officer has been identified as Courtney Brooks. He leaves behind 3 children and a fiance.

He was killed as he was placing flares for traffic control into the city.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 9-1-1 or MdTA police.

If you are in the Maryland/Delaware area keep your eyes open for a Green Ford Explorer with License XB719820.
