Get Out ILLEGAL Activist; and Stay Out
Aug 20, 2007 Immigration
An ILLEGAL alien who has been hiding in a church for a year was arrested and deported back to Mexico leaving her son to live with others here in the US. Elvira Arellano had her kid here so he is a citizen under the misinterpreted 14th Amendment. The activist groups are all over this story and they are all indicating that this woman should not have been arrested for breaking the law and that it was not right for the government to separate her from her kid.
The government did not separate them, she could have taken her kid with her but she is a poor example for motherhood and abandoned her kid. She indicated that if her kid leaves he loses the rights that he has as an American (what she means is sponging off the taxpayer by sucking up welfare). Actually, if we applied the 14th Amendment correctly he would have no rights but since we erroneously made him a citizen he retains those rights and is allowed to come and go. His mother just decided to abandon him.
This is not about tearing families apart. It is about upholding the law. This woman defied an order calling for her removal and she held up in a church for a year to avoid the law being followed. The activists can cry all they want but what we need to be doing is deporting a who lot more of these people. We need to apply the 14th the way it was intended and we need to get rid of people who are here ILLEGALLY. As far as their kids go, they can take them with them back home.
I have no sympathy for lawbreakers who cry because they got caught. The US government did not cause the problem, the ILLEGALS did.
If you don’t want your family broken up then stay in your own country where you belong until you can come here via the legal route.

Man Arrested for Protesting ILLEGAL Workers
Jul 27, 2007 Immigration
My friends at Freedom Folks have a post up about a business man who had his First Amendment rights violated by the police. The gentleman was protesting ILLEGAL workers who were repairing a house when the owner of the house called police. The officer told him to leave and he asked if he was under arrest, they told him no. The officer told him to come to his car and the question was again asked and received the same reply. Then the guy said he wanted his sign back and the cop tried to force him to the car so he sat down. He was cuffed and back-up was called.
They forced him into the car and he asked again and was told no. He then called the owner of the home a cheap bastard and the police cited him for cursing and took him to jail where he spent 22 hours. For a guy that was not under arrest it is strange that he was cuffed (thereby denying him liberty or being under arrest) and then he went to jail which is usually what happens when one is arrested.
The entire story with pictures is at Freedom Folks.
An Open Letter to Corporate America
Jul 25, 2007 Immigration
Tom at Tom’s Flashbacks has a great post up. It is an open letter to corporate America’s companies who support ILLEGALS. Here is a snippet:
Your sponsorships of LaRaza and other Hispanic single race agenda groups, MeCha, Aztlan are no different than if you were handing out checks to the KKK, Black Panthers, and in some very relevant examples of their racism and genealogical attitudes, the Third Reich. These groups are not interested in being a part of America, they only want America. The only goal is to push for power, not of the American People, but of the Hispanic race. When LaRaza is talking about rights and advocacy, they are only talking about Hispanics, not Americans.

ILLEGALS Kill More Americans Than War on Terror
Jul 23, 2007 Immigration
In 2006 Congressman Steve King of Iowa released figures showing that 12 Americans a day are murdered by ILLEGAL aliens which translates to an annual rate of 4,380. This annual number of Americans murdered at home by ILLEGALS is greater than the number of Americans killed in the war on terror since it started. It would appear as if Iraq is safer for Americans than our own country and one expects death in a war. The biggest tragedy of it all is that 4,380 people a year die because our government is not doing its duty in ensuring that Americans are safe and our borders secured.

Arizona Leads Charge Against Illegals
Jul 3, 2007 Immigration
The federal government has been woefully inadequate in its duty to protect the border resulting in a huge influx of ILLEGALS from all over but mostly from Mexico. That stands to reason since the Mexicans only have to brave the desert to get here (no easy task but easier than coming from overseas). Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano signed a bill into law that would suspend the business license of any business that hired ILLEGALS and a second offense would result in permanent revocation of the business license. This is a great way to stop ILLEGALS from continuing to break the law. It is also incentive for employers to keep their workforce clean.
As one might expect, the advocacy groups are already crying about Constitutionality and how this will hurt the poor ILLEGALS. It only took eight minutes for one of them to release a statement opposing the new law. Advocates of ILLEGALS contend that this law oversteps the state’s bounds in immigration enforcement which is a federal task. I don’t disagree with the fact that immigration is a federal job but I believe that states are allowed to ensure the laws are followed and if they have a law that says that ILLEGALS can not be hired then that is fine. They are not catching ILLEGALS and turning them over to federal officials, they are ensuring businesses that they license are following the law.
The federal government is derelict in its duty to protect our borders and has given us a huge problem. Their answers to fixing it involve sweeping amnesty for those very lawbreakers. Instead of rewarding the illegal behavior, Arizona is punishing the employers who fail to follow the rules.
Perhaps Congress would like to step up to the plate and pass bills that attack one piece of the problem at a time. First secure the border, then maybe they can write a federal law similar to the new one in Arizona.
This goes into effect 1 Jan 2008. I guess we have until then for all the lawsuits and court play. I hope some activist judge does not strike this down. If one does his office should be moved to the border so he can enjoy the fruits of his labor.
