Immigrants Find Actions Have Consequences

A meat packing plant in Detroit, Wolverine Packing Co, became a company the Big Dog admires when it fired 15 immigrant women who skipped work to attend a protest. The women were informed prior to the event that attendance at work on the day of the protest was mandatory and that if they failed to show for work they would lose their jobs. They decided to go to the protest and now they are in the same circumstances they were when they came here; looking for a job. I guess they found out another lesson of working in America, listen to the boss or you will get fired.

Interestingly, the workers are fighting to get their jobs back even though at least one of them is undocumented. Elena Herrada, a Detroit activist, is fighting to get the women’s jobs back stating that if the women knew they would be fired they would never have skipped work. The company claims to have informed them verbally and in writing. Seems a better grasp of English might have been helpful in this situation.

The meat packing plant uses an employment company and that company is supposed to verify worker status but evidently that company did not do such a good job of it since one of them, who asked that her last name not be used (so that she could further evade the law and continue breaking it). Now is a great time for the federal government to make examples of people. They should step in and shut down Minuteman Staffing. The feds can show up at the start of the workday and round up all the workers. They can go through the records and they can deport anyone who is here illegally. In addition, Minuteman can be fined a great deal of money for illegal practices.

“It was not fair,'” said Mercedes, a 31-year-old Detroit woman who attended the rally and was fired. “We went to fight for our rights.” Mercedes is undocumented and asked that her last name not be used.

Abortion Causes Need For Workers

Wayfarer sent me an article that you can find at Break Point. It is a very interesting perspective on illegal immigration. We have heard all the rhetoric and we have heard that the illegals come here because they do jobs that Americans will not do. The article goes on to explain that there are not enough people to fill all the jobs that would be vacated if we deported 12 million people. The first item discussed is respect for the rule of law, the second welcome people (as Christians should) no matter how they got here. The third point is this:

The reason we must allow millions of illegal aliens in to fill these jobs is because we have murdered a generation that would otherwise be filling them: 40 million sacrificed since 1973 to the god of self-fulfillment. And Americans are barely maintaining a replacement-level birthrate of 2.1 children per woman.

Very good point and right on target. If we had not allowed the murder of all these babies they would be filling those jobs today. Instead we have to import people (or more accurately, they sneak in) to do the jobs. We could have a hell of a lot of workers if the liberals would not have allowed them to be killed off. Read the rest of the article. I am sure you will find it enlightening.

When You Break The Law

Today there are massive protests across the country by the people we, apparently, can not live without. We seem to be doing well as they stay home from work to protest OUR immigration laws. The ILLEGALS broke the law to get here and it seems that this is a pattern that continues. A counter protester was assaulted by one of the people supporting ILLEGAL entry. The victim had a sign that said ILLEGALS have no rights so one of the criminals hit him with something heavy. The victim required medical attention. One of the organizers had this to say:

“When you promote violence, you get violence,” said the Rev. Virginia Maria Rincon, one of the organizers. “Our rally is about promoting a peaceful dialogue.”

Perhaps this beacon of stupidity can explain how there was violence at her peaceful protest. Maybe she can explain how a person counter protesting is promoting violence. Maybe I can solve it for her by stating that when you PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR, YOU GET MORE ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR. This is a pattern. The ILLEGALS do not like our immigration laws so they protest, they enter any way, and they break the law. An ILLEGAL did not like what the counter protester had to say so he broke the law by attacking him. The counter protester had more right to be there and protest. Our Constitution allows CITIZENS to do that. ILLEGAL immigrants do not have that right and the INS should be boarding all those protest buses and checking green cards.

It does not help the cause to be out breaking the law, again, but what do you expect from people who have no regard for the rule of law to begin with.

Flaunt Your Illegal Status

Tomorrow there will be protests all over the United States by people who America can not do without. We have been told that illegals are here and they are doing jobs that Americans will not do. They are very important to us, except of course when they all take off to protest. I suppose they are not vital to business after all. Many will bill this as a protest for immigration reform and that many legal immigrants will be in these protests as well. That might be so, but the large part will be illegals and their representatives:

In Los Angeles, Eun Sook Lee will march on behalf of Korean illegal immigrants, at least 50,000, living in southern California.

It is interesting that in the LA protests many legals were there protesting that the government was trying to make it easier after these folks had to go through the drawn out process the legal way. That information never gets reported and we were led to believe that everyone was there to help make it easier on illegals. I want to say it again. Illegal immigrants are the problem. Not the people who came here the way they are supposed to. Not the people who filed the correct papers and not the people who have LEGAL jobs and pay TAXES. We are talking about the people who slither into this country and work illegally. As for protesting, ILLEGAL immigrants do not have that right. Our Constitution does not apply to non citizens. They do not have the right to assemble. We need to pick them up at these rallies and send them back to their own countries. The police should be walking around asking for green cards.

I get tired of ILLEGAL immigrants trying to tell us what our problems are and what we need to do to fix them. I do not think we need people who enter this country ILLEGALLY telling us how to fix things. We also do not need members of other groups, like guest workers telling us what is wrong and we certainly do not need members of the Muslim community telling us what we are doing wrong.

“If you watch TV and read the papers, you would think this [immigration reform] is primarily an issue only for Latinos or only illegals or only poor immigrants. [Monday] will show differently,” predicts Abdul Malik Mujahid, a Chicago-based Islamic cleric who says 7,000 Muslims will march there Monday to protest the “climate of fear” since 9/11. “Latino organizers have done a big favor not just to themselves but to all other immigrants, as well as America itself, by standing up and saying this country’s immigration system is broken and needs to be fixed. Now the rest of us must join in.”

They kill people for changing to another religion and they rape their women and then kill them for being raped. I do not think we need Hadji, Habib and the boys telling us what we are doing wrong. They sit idly by while their countrymen blow up innocent people and then protest over a cartoon of that pedophile Mohammad. They should be spending their time trying to convince their countrymen to stop terrorism. I would not want to be any of these people if the US is hit again. I would not give any Muslim on the street a snowball’s chance in hell if it happens. I am not saying it is right but I feel Americans will go postal on them as a group. I guess we are tired of being told they are the religion of peace and then watching them do EVERYTHING EXCEPT BE PEACEFUL.

So tell Paco, Habib, Hadji, Pedro, Chang and every other illegal here to STFU and go back home. While you are at it, tell the INS to get out to the protests and snap up a bunch of illegals and send them back from whence they came. I do have some immigration reform. Here it is. If you want to be a citizen of this country you can get in the fast track to citizenship the Big Dog way. This even applies to illegals who are here and get caught. All they have to do is raise their right hands and repeat and oath and they will be on their way. That oath is:

“I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”

Now that my friends IS a job many Americans do not want to do. The enlistment would be for six years. If they serve for six years and are honorably discharged they may become citizens. People who serve in combat may apply upon completing their tour. People who are caught here illegally and accept service must serve in combat and wait six years as punishment for not being here legally. Any person who is put out of the service for any reason other than medical, before their six years is up will lose any chance of becoming a citizen. The last requirement is that they MUST speak ENGLISH. No speaky English. No makey citizen.

America Should Treat Immigrants As Mexico Does

We have been inundated with protests by Mexicans who think the American laws are too strict. These are people who break the law to enter this country and then run around waving the Mexican flag. If they are so proud of Mexico, why don’t they stay there? We have heard them tell us they demand their rights and we have heard the liberals tell us that these “undocumented workers” are only doing what Americans will not. We are viewed as too hard on them and they are demanding that we abandon our laws so they can be here. I think it is time for us to treat them the same way Mexico treat immigrants to its country:

The Mexican constitution expressly forbids non-citizens to participate in the country’s political life. Non-citizens are forbidden to participate in demonstrations or express opinions in public about domestic politics. Article 9 states, “only citizens of the Republic may do so to take part in the political affairs of the country.” Article 33 is unambiguous: “Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country.”

The Mexican constitution denies fundamental property rights to foreigners. If foreigners wish to have certain property rights, they must renounce the protection of their own governments or risk confiscation. Foreigners are forbidden to own land in Mexico within 100 kilometers of land borders or within 50 kilometers of the coast. Article 27 states, “Only Mexicans by birth or naturalization and Mexican companies have the right to acquire ownership of lands, waters, and their appurtenances, or to obtain concessions for the exploitation of mines or of waters. The State may grant the same right to foreigners, provided they agree before the Ministry of Foreign Relations to consider themselves as nationals in respect to such property, and bind themselves not to invoke the protection of their governments in matters relating thereto; under penalty, in case of noncompliance with this agreement, of forfeiture of the property acquired to the Nation. Under no circumstances may foreigners acquire direct ownership of lands or waters within a zone of one hundred kilometers along the frontiers and of fifty kilometers along the shores of the country.” (Emphasis added)

The Mexican constitution denies equal employment rights to immigrants, even legal ones, in the public sector. Article 32: “Mexicans shall have priority over foreigners under equality of circumstances for all classes of concessions and for all employment, positions, or commissions of the Government in which the status of citizenship is not indispensable. In time of
peace no foreigner can serve in the Army nor in the police or public security forces.”

The Mexican constitution guarantees that immigrants will never be treated as real Mexican citizens, even if they are legally naturalized. Article 32 bans foreigners, immigrants, and even naturalized citizens of Mexico from serving as military officers, Mexican-flagged ship and airline crew, and chiefs of seaports and airports:
“In order to belong to the National Navy or the Air Force, and to discharge any office or commission, it is required to be a Mexican by birth. This same status is indispensable for captains, pilots, masters, engineers, mechanics, and in general, for all personnel of the crew of any vessel or airship protected by the Mexican merchant flag or insignia. It is also necessary to be Mexican by birth to discharge the position of captain of the port and all services of practice and airport commandant, as well as all functions of customs agent in the Republic.”

An immigrant who becomes a naturalized Mexican citizen can be stripped of his Mexican citizenship if he lives again in the country of his origin for more than five years, under Article 37. Mexican-born citizens risk no such loss.

If you want to read the rest go Mexico’s Glass House and you can see how poorly they treat people who are not Mexican.

Now somebody tell me how we are treating illegal immigrants so badly. What we need to do is adopt their methods and use them on the people who think it is OK to waltz in here and make demands.
