Paris Foreshadows Our Future

Yesterday Islamic terrorists conducted a coordinated attack across Paris leaving hundreds injured and at least 127 dead. Reports indicate that five terrorists caused the deaths of these folks. No society can sustain a ratio of 127:5 in a battle against and enemy.
It is no coincidence that France has opened its borders to huge numbers of Islamic refugees and it is no secret that France has allowed huge numbers of Muslims to move into its country. They invited the enemy in and now that enemy has bitten the hand that was offered in peace.
Barack Obama refused to call this attack Islamic terror and he is working hard to speed up the movement of refugees to the US. There is no doubt these refugees are full of Islamic terrorists who want to infiltrate our country (among others) and who want to raise hell and MURDER us. Any leader who witnessed what happened in France and pushes harder for these refugees is either woefully ignorant or complicit in the scheme. Barack Obama is not a stupid man so that leaves us with the stark reality that he is helping invaders arrive here.
Obama needs these kinds of things to happen here in order to put government in complete control of our lives. In France they now have what amounts to martial law and Obama is salivating at the opportunity to do the same thing here. He wants to control us and he wants us broken so he can “transform this nation” (his words, not mine). He needs this and it is all part of the Cloward-Piven strategy.
Look how quickly the French submitted after the attack. We are under curfew and the military is policing us. Stay in like good subjects and obey our betters.
We had a run through of this on a smaller scale when the two terrorists bombed the Boston Marathon. The area where the terrorists were running was closed and people were pulled from their homes as police searched their houses for the bad guys. No one was allowed out and businesses shut down while the police conducted building to building and house to house searches. Lord help any homeowner who refused entry to the police.
All of this for two terrorists who were free to run and could attack at will because, in part, of the gun laws in Massachusetts. Imagine how this would have played out in a place like Texas or Arizona…
The terrorists are getting better at what they do. Obama might call them the JV team and say they are contained but this is all a bunch of lies. They executed a coordinated attack in Paris and had such good operational security that no intelligence agency picked up chatter about the attacks. There are reports that our own Intelligence Agency had no warning. This secrecy allowed the terrorists to execute multiple attacks on multiple targets at the same time.
This is coming to America and Obama is rushing it along. We already have a number of Islamic terrorist training camps in this country and he is pushing to allow more terrorists to enter disguised as refugees.
Don’t worry, he says, they will be properly vetted. The bombers in Boston were vetted by the government. Hell, in all the mass murders in our country where some leftist whack job shoots a bunch of people that person was vetted by our government. Edward Snowden and every traitor who sold classified information was vetted by our government.
How on earth does anyone think the government will be able to properly determine the status of the refugees?
The reality is our government can’t and that is what the terrorists are counting on. Obama knows this but he has to blow smoke up the behinds of Americans to make it seem all is well. He needs buy in so he can import the kind of terror that will finally allow him complete control.
The events in Paris foreshadowed what will happen here. I know folks say it could never happen here but it will and it will be huge. Imagine coordinated attacks not in one city but in dozens of American cities at the same time. DC, Boston, Baltimore, Los Angeles, Chicago, and countless others, particularly those with large populations, could all be hit at the same time causing mass chaos and confusion. Government would impose martial law and our freedom would be flushed down the drain.
And Obama is importing the means to do it.
France is vowing to go after those who did this and that is admirable but it is too little too late. That country imported the terrorists and now it is paying a heavy price. An adage about a horse and a barn door comes to mind.
Governments are reactive not proactive so there usually has to be some tragic event before anything is done. France is closing its borders and going after those who did this AFTER the fact. The US went after the terrorists AFTER 9-11 and we will pretend to do so after the next attack.
We need to be proactive and eliminate the threat NOW. Stop the refugees from coming in, deport those who are already here, build a wall on our border (and while we are at it deport the illegals).
The attacks are going to come. America is the prime target for these animals and our leaders are helping them. The youth of the nation is, by and large, more concerned with “free” stuff than safety and our so called leadership is hell bent on control. The rest of those who are still asleep are concerned with a myth about man-made climate change so they are too busy to see what lies ahead.
The III% needs to be prepared because a storm is coming.
You can pretty much bet on that…

Will The Real Donald Trump Please Stand Up

Donald Trump is an egomaniac. This is not to say that he does not love America or that he does not think he can be a good president who can revive the economy. It is quite possible that he has the skills to get America back on track.
But Donald has a Donald problem. I am not talking about the way he puts his foot in his mouth by continually insulting those with whom he disagrees. It is par for the course now for someone to make a comment about Trump and have him respond by saying the person is a no talent, or not bright, or you name it.
It seems that unless you agree with Trump and unless you treat him like royalty you are a second class citizen to him and you are not fit to shine his shoes.
These are his personality traits. He was handed his daddy’s business and he built it into an empire. But for too long people have treated him like he is the king so much so he now believes it. He thinks that he can treat people as he wishes and suffer no consequence.
He might be right given the latest polls that show he still has quite a lead even after his bombastic weekend.
It appears as if Trump has tapped into the anger in the Republican Party (and probably some of the anger on the left) and he is expressing that anger for the millions of disillusioned people in this country.
All well and good but the problem is still Trump and his past.
I am not talking about comments he made about women he argued with. His issues deal with the way he takes positions based on convenience. Trump has been a Democrat and a Republican (and who knows what else). He has donated to politicians from both parties and has supported things that are not conservative.
He liked single payer health insurance and he has spoken in favor of some forms of gun control (assault weapons ban and longer waiting periods). He appears to have evolved on these issues and others but is this a matter of expedience?
I know Trump is a good businessman who has made billions of dollars and he is not part of the political class. He might be a great shot in the arm for the country when it comes to getting us on good financial footing.
The question would be at what cost? Trump has already made it known he donates to politicians so he can get what he wants. This is not a new idea and people have paid to play for as long as politics have existed. But will he evolve again with regard to issues when money starts flowing? Will he push for gun control or single payer health care based on well-heeled donors?
If Trump were to be elected president and we actually got the guy Donald now describes we might actually do quite well but if we get the guy that Trump once was we could be in a world of trouble.
There is still this nagging voice in my head that tells me Trump is in collusion with the Clintons to divide the electorate so she can be elected. Trump is pals with the Clintons and it is not beyond reason that he would be doing this to help her. A divided electorate (thanks to Ross Perot) gave us Bill Clinton.
Maybe Bill is working with Trump to do that once again so Hillary will win.
There is a lot to flesh out in the coming months and given the theatrics of Trump it should be entertaining.
I think it is time we put a person in the White House who is not a career politician or part of a dynasty. Trump does not have to be that guy.
The more I hear Carly Fiorina the more impressed I am with her.
But there is a lot of time to decide.
No matter what the person we select will be better than any Democrat they have running.
We don’t need more of what we now have.

Being offended Is Not A Legal Issue

The Constitution does not protect some right not to be offended though from the actions of people these days one would be hard pressed to prove it. People of all stripes are offended by a flag and want it removed. Then they got offended over statues and want them removed. They even became offended at the dead bodies of two people from the Confederacy (an officer and his wife) and they want the bodies dug up and buried elsewhere.
A man was shopping at a flea market and he ran across a person selling Nazi and Confederacy memorabilia** and he became so upset he called 911.
[note]I hesitate to call anyone a man who gets upset at seeing such things and, according to his account, became so upset he was shaking an almost vomiting and had to run. Does that make it a flee market?[/note]
No matter how one finds these items they are not illegal to sell (especially since it was on private property) and it is certainly not against the law to offend someone.
A lot of resources were wasted investigating this. Politicians wanted to know if any laws had been broken (how about abuse of the 911 system) and a person from the Anti-Defamation League described the items and the incident by saying:
It’s unfortunate that under the law people have the right to sell these things; but it doesn’t mean they should sell these things ~ Joshua Sayles
You see, it is unfortunate you have rights. If those pesky things were not in the way then the law could clamp down on you for offending people.
I don’t like Che images and think anyone who wears or displays them is a moron but I would fight to my death defending their right to do so.
And one thing is for certain, I would not shake, nearly vomit or run because I saw something I did not like.
People get offended all the time. It is one of the facts of life and there is no law preventing it (thank goodness).
So the best advice I can give is suck it up cupcake…
**It appears the man was upset by the Nazi items because he had a relative in a concentration camp and that the Confederate items were not authentic. No matter, he should have been ticketed for calling 911. He got sick and had to run because of this? I bet he gets apoplectic watching a WWII movie…

The Greeks Deserve To be Humiliated

Greece has been on the edge of default for a few years and has been asking for and receiving bailouts in the form of loans to help them through a crisis of their own making.
The Greeks have a generous benefit system that allows workers to retire young and receive a hefty percentage of their retirement. Couple this with countless other programs that can’t be afforded and you get a crisis.
When Greece was bailed out it failed to take any reasonable austerity measures to get on a path to sustainability. It keeps showing up hat in hand wanting even more money.
The members of the European Union (EU) have been in tense negotiations and it is not happy to be asked to shell out more money to a country that seems intent on continuing on the same path that got it to the brink of disaster.
A new deal is in the works and many Greeks are unhappy with it. They claim it is harsh and requires them to do too much. They claim it is humiliating.
It should be humiliating. You have a system that can’t be sustained and you ask for money to help you when it collapses and ten you continue doing the same thing that got you there. You ask for more and more while continuing to refuse reforms.
Then you are forced to agree to harsh measures and you claim it is not right and humiliating.
It is humiliating and it should be. You should be ashamed that you are led by people who ran your country into the ground. You should be ashamed that you continue to suck the life out of your economy by raping the treasury of ever dwindling resources while continuing a life of early retirement and generous pensions.
Other countries are not happy with being forced to bail you out once again. And considering how dire your circumstances are you had better agree to the terms and get your act together.
Americans, pay attention because we are well on our way to a default and we will be like Greece before you know it.
And we too should feel ashamed and humiliated for many of the same reasons.

Che Che Change At Wal Mart

Wal Mart has decided to remove all items associated with the Confederate Battle Flag from its retail and online stores. The move comes after manufactured indignation at an inanimate item that is part of American history because some whack job racist murdered nine people in South Carolina.
The Flag did not murder anyone and there is no indication that the flag inspired the idiot to murder people but it makes liberals feel good to bring up the Confederate Battle Flag every time we head into a presidential election. This gives the liberals who are ignorant of history the opportunity to make allegations of racism against any politician (read Republican) who does not jump up and down and demand the flag be removed.
It appears to be working as many Republicans are now showing their ignorance as well. Or perhaps they are caving to the chattering class in order not to be labeled racist. News Flash folks, they will call you that no matter what.
This is snowballing as Democrat Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake of Baltimore is demanding the state of Maryland stop issuing Sons of the Confederacy license plates (which feature the battle flag) and recall those that have been issued. The Baltimore County Executive is trying to get Robert E Lee Park renamed.
Blake is using the uproar to make demands for the removal of a symbol of history but was silent (in fact I have heard no liberal discuss this) as ISIS flags were waving among the rioters she sponsored just weeks ago.
It is all about not letting a crisis go to waste and to that end Wal Mart is jumping on board to show it is not a racist company. Yes, it will no longer sell any item that features the Confederate Battle Flag.
[note]Wal Mart is based in Arkansas and Bill Clinton is from Arkansas. Clinton used the Confederate Battle Flag imagery when he ran for president. I do not recall liberals protesting the flag then and I don’t recall Wal Mart having an opinion on the matter.[/note]
Wal Mart continues to sell items with the face of Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara on them. Che’s face is featured on many shirts worn by liberals and his poster adorned a wall at an Obama campaign office. Blacks overwhelmingly voted for both Clinton (who used that Confederate Flag) and Obama who never demanded the Che poster be taken down.
Why does it matter? Che Guevara was a racist from Argentina who murdered a lot of people, many of whom were black. He was a huge communist who wanted communism to take over the world. Here is some interesting information about Che, the guy you see on many shirts worn by the very liberals who demand the Flag be removed:
Guevara was a notorious anti-Black racist from Argentina who murdered hungry children and became an icon for leftists around the world for his role in the 1959 communist takeover of Cuba. This was a man who was a defender of the North Korean regime and who deeply mourned the death of Joseph Stalin. Guevara hoped the Soviets would launch nuclear attacks on American cities, for some reason confident that the communists would win a nuclear war that would have killed millions.
Che Guevara banned music, burned books, hated blacks, was an anti-semite [sic], murdered those who disagreed with him, personally oversaw execution squads, and was in charge of a system that imprisoned gays solely for the crime of being gay. X Tribune
If Wal Mart was so socially conscious wouldn’t they remove all Che items from the store?
The Southern states seceded from the union because of economic reasons. A large part of the economy was slave driven but the slave aspect is not why they left the union though they set up a government that codified slavery. The federal government was willing to continue slavery if they rejoined the union but a tripling of the tariffs crippled them economically. The flag was a battle flag carried by units that had soldiers, most of whom did not own slaves, who were tired of the federal government’s overreach. They fought with pride for their side in the war.
It is easy to sit here today and criticize and with the sorry educational system it is even easier to brainwash people into revisionist history but the reality is most people viewed blacks and inferior at that point in time. Abraham Lincoln was among those who thought blacks were inferior. There were some who believed that there should be no slaves but they still believed the white race was superior.
We are a nation with a past that has some great things in it but we also have some bad things. Slavery is among the worst part of our history and this Democrat institution should have died out long before it did. Our history after slavery was not much better with Democrats and their racist Jim Crow laws that kept blacks as second class citizens. Gun control was designed to keep blacks unarmed so they could not resist the tyranny.
That flag is just that, a flag. It is a symbol of our history and it should remain a part of our history.
But if people want to ban flags then they might want to look at the US Flag. It flew over this nation when we committed genocide against the Native Americans, while slavery was an institution, during the forced incarceration of Japanese Americans and during the post slavery period of racist laws and practices. Given this and the reasons for the Confederate Flag uproar, what makes it any more worthy?
Perhaps it is because despite the sometimes horrific history associated with the nation over which it has flown it still stands as a symbol of hope and freedom. It represents what can happen when people come together to build something and despite the flaws of its nation it demonstrates that people can move past horrific periods and events and become something better.
The Confederate Flag also represents a history that many today find intolerable. It should remain as a symbol that even in our darkest times we were able to overcome.
The Flag in South Carolina flies over a Confederate Monument, where one would expect it to be.
There is nothing wrong with displaying our history. Every aspect of our history should remain as a tribute to a nation of people who did not always get it right but improved and continue to improve.
Leave the Flag alone. It is heritage, not hate.
As an aside, there are many groups in this country with flags and banners. Certainly we could all find one reason or another to get rid of their symbols but do we want that in a nation that prides itself on freedom of expression?
