My Global Warming Carbon Offset Plan
Global warming is an issue that creates mass hysteria among those of the left as they parade around slavishly following Al Gore and his over hyped PowerPoint show of black magic, lies, and distortions. The people who advocate for man to do something, anything, to stop the onslaught of catastrophe that will ensue unless we spend money we do not have on items that have yet to be invented, have yet to be demonstrated as effective and are based on something that is a theory are clueless. They insist that we must act because the science is settled and every scientist in the world worth anything has signed on board the Gore express.
The inconvenient truth is that as many scientists disagree with the idea of man made global warming as agree with it and the science is definitely not settled. Lest we forget, these reputable scientists were warning of an approaching ICE AGE only 35 or so years ago. Never mind that it has been colder lately and that we are not actually warming up (though this is strangely blamed on global warming) and never mind that it all seems to coincide with sunspot activity. The major issue with these folks is that Carbon Dioxide is dangerous. They call it a greenhouse gas and blame it for most of the problems. In the late 60s and early 70s it was CFCs used in aerosol cans as a propellant. That stuff was banned so now those who want to control your lives need a new villain. CO2 is the villain because it can never be eliminated and they won’t have to look for a new one in the future like they did after CFCs were banned.
CO2 is necessary for life to exist. It is the waste gas expired after Oxygen is processed in the body. Amazingly, there is a system on the planet that uses it and makes Oxygen. Plants use CO2 and return O2 for us to breathe and we do the opposite for them. It is amazing the way that this works. It is almost like a higher being designed it all or something…
In any event, the global warming zealots are looking to put into place these cap and trade schemes as well as others to charge us more money and to try to end this scourge of global warming. King Hussein of America is now looking to do it. They are all spending money we don’t have to end something that is not a problem all in the name of control.
The global warming hoax will make a handful of people very rich and will condemn us to poverty for a very long time. It will enslave us to government even more than we are now and when added to the trillion dollar deficits King Hussein is racking up (he has tripled a debt in one month) the recession will be turned into a depression.
But what about your offset plan Big Dog?
CO2 is a necessary gas but liberals want to eliminate it. Some of them have this idea about buying a carbon offset (a fancy way for them to make money for nothing) so my offset program involves all the liberals signing up for my program. Their names will be randomly selected to help allow those guilty of “polluting” with CO2 to alleviate that guilt. Here is how it works:
People who produce CO2 will send me money to purchase carbon offsets. I will randomly select a liberal from the list of those who want to help the environment (and all good libs want that, right). Then, they will be sent to the Final Exit Network where their carbon output will end. This will be a great offset program that allows libs to sacrifice for the cause and allow the rest of us to live how we want without a lot of problems.
But mostly, it will help me get rich through the sale of the offsets.
This is no more ridiculous than any of the other scams out there and mine actually helps decrease the surplus liberal population.

Future Generation Bankruptcy Plan Nears Passage

Barack Obama’s Future Generation Bankruptcy Plan is closer to passage as the Senate and House agreed on a final bill. After some fireworks over who gets to spend more on what, the Democrats agreed to a bill and hope to have it on Obama’s desk by President’s Day. Reports are that no Republicans were involved in the negotiations. This bill belongs entirely to Obama and his Democrats so when it fails the blame belongs entirely to them.
Early word is that the concessions made to get three Republicans in the Senate to support it have been negated as those items previously removed were put back in. The three traitors, Snowe, Specter, and Collins, will see their work undone so they sold their souls for nothing. All of them need to be removed from the GOP and we need to ensure they are defeated in the next election.
As for the plan, it will spend a TRILLION dollars on a plethora of Democratic pet projects but create very few jobs. The economy will not be stimulated and we will pass on TRILLIONS of dollars in debt to people who have not been born yet. We have The Greatest Generation, Generation X, the Baby Boomers and now we will have Generation Broke.
The plan is carefully crafted to show results during next year when these people are pandering for votes but it is unlikely that the results will be very positive. Inflation will rise and the dollar will be worthless. Soon we will need a wheelbarrow of cash to buy a loaf of bread.
This is nothing more than Carter II and Obama will soon have unemployment and inflation that rivals that failed president. The coming misery index will make Carter look like a day at the beach.
It would appear as if America is about to hit rock bottom but that is what we need before we can dispense with these cockeyed schemes that have failed every time they have been tried. We need to have this kind of outcome so that we can, once and for all, put an end to government intervention.
Of course, there could be quite a bit of civil unrest before all is said and done. People in Kentucky are pouring bourbon on the steps of the Capitol to protest a tax increase on the booze. It is not the Boston Tea Party but it has the same purpose.
I wonder how long it will be before we are spilling blood?
If it gets real bad we can always declare open season on liberals. That would be a great stress reliever and loads of fun. Let’s start with Olberdouche just because it would be so satisfying.
Folks, it is going to get bad. When it does just remember that Obama and the Democrats brought you the misery. They will try to blame it on George Bush but this belongs entirely to them.
Write it all down and put it away for when your great great grandchildren are born. They will be Generation Broke and Generation More Broke and they will want to know what we were thinking. The should at least know that not all of us were insane.
They need to know about the failed presidency of Barack Obama because the history books will not discuss it.

The More Things Change

There is really no change in DC except for which party is in power. That and how Democrats act about certain things. For instance, when Republicans were the majority the Democrats complained that they felt left out of the process even though the right wrote rules that included them. Now that the left is in charge they completely exclude the right and make no bones about it. Nancy Pelosi basically said, yeah we wrote the stimulus package because we won the election and the rules she wrote excludes Republicans. Remember that Nancy. You have full responsibility like you did for the financial meltdown but on this you will not be able to say you are blameless.
When Republicans do something wrong the Democrats make sure it is on the front pages. When Democrats do bad things they are put into positions of responsibility. Timothy Geithner did not pay his taxes. It was not a mistake, an oversite, a tax software glitch, an invasion by Martians, or an interruption by Bigfoot. The fact is he knew he was supposed to pay them and he did not. He signed papers saying he would take the money given to pay them and do so but he did not. Now he is the nominee to be the Treasury Secretary. I have heard it said on several occasions that he is the smartest man out there and the only one who can fix the mess. So, if this guy is so smart, how did he make this “mistake” and fail to pay taxes? Do you really want a person who can’t figure out his taxes running Treasury?
When George Bush was president the Democrats loved to bust his chops for deficit spending. Of course the Democrats continue to tell this lie that we had a balanced budget and a surplus of cash when Clinton left office. This is a lie. We had a deficit per the government’s numbers. A surplus means we had extra money. We owed so there could be no surplus. Still I have heard how Bush spent the “surplus” and then spent more than we had and ran up a huge deficit. I am not disputing that he spent and ran up a deficit because it is true. I do not like the increased spending but my not liking it does not mean it did not happen. Now, of course, Obama and the Democrats are spending TRILLIONS of dollars and will run up the largest deficit in our history. None of them are railing about deficit spending like they did when Bush was in power. They say it is necessary to stimulate the economy.
[note]If deficit spending or spending more money were the answer we would not be having problems because they have done nothing but spend for a very long time.[/note]
Liberals are holding hands and singing Kumbaya while telling the rest of us that we are all Americans and we need to give Obama a chance to do his job. They tell us that we all need to work together and that if we would only put aside our differences and do just that we would solve our problems. Hollywood stars are making little public service announcements about how we should be working together. Suddenly being patriotic and waving a flag is cool. For years they disavowed that behavior and discussed dissent. They told us the country was founded on dissent and that it was patriotic to dissent and oppose government [Bush]. These are the low life maggots who NEVER gave Bush a chance. In 2000 George Bush won the election and every recount conducted by the partisan media showed that. Still, liberals said he stole it. They protested at his inauguration and pelted his limo with eggs. This is how day one started and it got worse over the next 8 years. To these idiots coming together only works if their guy is in office.
I will say that they will get what they gave. Some who comment here call it whining and crying by Republicans but they fail to recognize that they acted horribly for 8 years. It is a typical method for the left. They rewrite history. However, we know how they acted and we saw more of it when Bush left town. Even Nancy Pelosi said the best thing about inauguration was watching the helicopter take Bush away. She said it felt like a 10 pound anvil lifted off her head. I thought she looked more like she got hit by a bag of nickels. I actually think it would be good if an anvil landed on her head.
One last thing. When a person from the right makes an observation about an issue involving race then he is a racist. Criticize Obama and you are a racist. Question affirmative action, racist. Just about anything will get you labeled a racist regardless of your intention or how you live your life. If you do not plug into the collective then you are a racist and that is that. But let a black guy make an absolutely racist statement and the left keeps its mouth shut. Reverend Lowery did it on inauguration day and no one from the left called him a racist or demanded an apology. Don Imus lost his job over the uproar over some comments he made but Lowery is praised. I read a comment today (I think at the WaPo) where a guy said that Rick Warren was a disgrace and should not have been there but Lowery was wonderful. This is the kind of claptrap you get from liberals. They will not condemn their own until it becomes a political liability.
Yep, we are in for an interesting 4 years. Already some of the things I said would happen are. I said that when Obama was criticized for the same things Bush did we would be called haters or told to give him a chance or that the left would embrace the very thing they attacked Bush for. I said that every criticism would be considered racist. I even said that if he won we would all be expected to get along while ignoring the behavior of the left for the last 8 years.
These people have no shame.
And the more things supposedly change, the more they stay the same.

The Silence Of The Bam

Today is the 7th day of Israel’s war on Hamas and its latest attempt to rid the world of the vermin that shoots rockets and mortars into its country. Barack Obama was on vacation in Hawaii and has yet to comment on the war.
He did state that there was only one president at a time and that is correct but that did not stop him from voicing his desires with regard to the auto company bailouts and the financial meltdown. He was the one who said it would get worse before it got better and expressed his wishes for a change in leadership at the auto makers.
I guess there is truly only one president when the words required are tough and possibly unpopular to the base.
Many of Obama’s supporters are absolutely against the actions taken by Israel. The kind of people who support him are the ones protesting the military response by Israel. Obama is in a tough position so he remains silent.
If he supports Israel’s right to defend itself he will betray those who voted for him who are against the action and if he denounces Israel he will upset many in the Jewish community, a community that voted overwhelmingly for him. He would also send a message to Israel that it cannot count on an Obama administration to have its back.
Obama has a sordid history when it comes to support for Israel. He says that he is in favor of them and what they do but his associates such as Farrakhan and Wright are absolutely anti Semitic. Obama listened to them spew hatred toward Jews for years and never took any action until he decided he wanted to be president (and not until it got too hot to ignore).
Obama used the “only one president” to duck an issue he hopes will be resolved before he takes office. The fact that he will soon take office might be why Israel decided now was as good a time as any to strike back. The country can count on support from President Bush but support form PEBO is not so certain.
Simon and Garfunkel had a song titled “The Sounds of Silence.” In the case of PEBO, the silence speaks louder than words.

Obama, Not McCain, Is Stuck In The Past

The newest Obama attack ad portrays John McCain as a man who is stuck in the past. I wrote about this earlier and indicated that though the ad claims that McCain can’t use the Internet, it does not make it clear that he uses it with help. You see, John McCain knows how it all works, he just can’t use it because the North Vietnamese broke his fingers a lot so McCain can’t type. He reads his email and his wife types his responses for him.
Regardless of Obama’s obvious ignorance of this issue (his ads seem to keep demonstrating his ignorance), the ad is disingenuous, misleading and hypocritical for another reason and that is, Barack Obama is actually the one stuck in the past.
Obama has been claiming to be an agent of change and he has stated that it will not be politics as usual in DC when The One arrives to take over the place. No one with any brains believes this (given his old style Chicago tactics) but it sounds good and it makes younger liberal women wet their panties and liberal men drool. The ad is designed to show us that John McCain is stuck in the past and will not bring change to Washington.
But is that the reality? Barack Obama has been saying he is the agent of change and when he had the opportunity to demonstrate that he blew it. Barack Obama chose a running mate who has been part of the Washington DC good ole boy network for 36 years. Instead of demonstrating his conviction to change Obama showed us that he is actually the person who is stuck in the past. His selection of Biden is old school, from a time long ago, a regression rather than a progression and it is counter to all Obama claims to be. Interestingly, there is a low roar that Biden will have some previously undisclosed “illness” that will force him to withdraw. Make no mistake, if Biden leaves it is because he was forced out. Any selection of Clinton from this point on will call Obama’s decision making ability into question.
Now, how about John McCain, the guy Obama paints as being in the past? John McCain selected a running mate who is young and has not been part of the DC political scene EVER. He chose a person who works for the people and not for the government and one who took on corruption in her own state. He selected a person who is the future and not the past. The selection of Sarah Palin demonstrates forward thinking rather than the thinking of someone who is stuck in the past.
Contrast Biden with Palin and then ask yourself which of the two demonstrates change in DC. Ask yourself which presidential candidate chose a running mate that is part of the future and not part of the past.
The ad Barack Obama aired has out of style glasses, a disco ball, a clunky huge mobile phone, and an old monochrome computer. These are all links to the past but Obama left out one very important link to the past in that ad. That link would be his running mate, Joe Biden. Biden is as much a relic as the items displayed but you won’t find him on that film.
No, that relic from the past is right next to Barack Obama, the man who claims to be about the future…
