Cindy Sheehan to Challenge Pelosi?
by Big Dog on Jul 8, 2007 at 19:26 Uncategorized
Retired anti war wacko and momma moonbat to many, Cindy Sheehan, has indicated that she might run against Nancy Pelosi for San Fran Nan’s seat in the House of Representatives. Sheehan said that if San Fran Nan does not seek impeachment of President Bush by Jusly 23rd then she [Sheehan] will run against Pelosi. Sheehan says that she will move into that district and that she will give Pelosi a run for her money.
The thought of Cindy Sheehan as a member of Congress is chilling but no more so than Nancy Pelosi as a member of Congress. Both are horrible people who have their own interests at heart. I just think it would be quite ironic if Sheehan, the Democrat’s poster child, ran against one of them. If Sheehan runs I want her to win. I just think it would be great to see Frankenstein’s monster come back to hurt the creator.
Sheehan also let us know something that we Republicans have known for quite some time, Democrats are not Americans. Sheehan said; “Democrats and Americans feel betrayed by the Democratic leadership.” There you have it, Democrats and Americans which should tell us something right there.
Read the article and it will be easy to see how one dimensional and ill prepared Sheehan is. Her reasons for impeachment do not reach the level required in the Constitution but she wants it nonetheless. Still, she really is no different than Pelosi who thinks she is authorized to conduct diplomatic missions, and is clueless about the separation of powers. In all reality, Sheehan is no less prepared than Pelosi and since both of them are dingbats, it is even on that front.
What you sow so you too shall reap. Oh how great it would be to see the Democrats reap the dingbat they have sown.
BTW, Sheehan had a son who died in Iraq.

I thought I had seen it all, but the appalling ignorance this weblog exudes is utterly mind-boggling. I think I may be dumber having visited this url. In fact, as I view a banner labelled ‘redneck mafia’ I feel my brain begin to melt away.
It is people like you, the willfully ignorant, brow-beating, knuckle-dragging cretins, who misrepresent what America truly stands for. And I relish the fact that yours is now the minority party.
So, keep cheerleading for your C-average president. The man who ruined every company he was handed (the United States of America included). History will show what miserable failures he and all of his mindless followers have been.
I do not agree with the way you phrase your statement Uh,wow.. But its your American right.
Personally I believe that Bush has let our country down in several ways. He is going to try to cram this amnesty deal down our throats again. Also the Trans Texas Corridor,Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America,Law of the Sea Treaty and so on.
Bush is meeting with the Canadian prime minister and the Mexican president in Canada very soon. They are going to conference on these things Ive just mentioned.. In my opinion, these heads of government are leading us by the nose to a North American Union , open borders ,etc. Our country will turn into a third world country.
“The Bush administration has released a directive called the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive.” (Kurt Nimmo)
In this directive, Bush declares that in the event of a ‘Catastrophic Emergency’ the President will be entrusted with leading the activities to ensure constitutional government
The language in the directive is entirely Orwellian in nature making it seem that it is a cooperative effort between all three branches but than it says that the President is in charge of the cooperative effort.
In short, Bush may now declare himself absolute ruler at any moment and Congress can like it or lump it. Naturally, this act of betrayal is of so little importance and consequence, the corporate media believes you are better served knowing Justin Timberlake is in love.
Im just really disappointed in our whole government system (Dems and Repubs). It seems they are out for themselves and do not give us Americans ( who voted them into office ) a thought.
In a separate email, Im sending the originals that Ive taken quotes from. bj1boo
Dear Lord;
Please do not let Cindy Sheehan run for Congress.
If nominated, please do not let her run.
If elected, please do not let her serve.
The nation with which you have blessed us is already up to it’s neck in deep deep sheep-dip, Lord. If another dingy moonbat gets elected, we will go down for the third time!
Thanks for your help!
Amen
I think I may be dumber having visited this url.
You give yourself way too much credit.
Isn’t this the same comment you left all over because you don’t like the Confederate Flag? It is part of our history , the real history, not the revisionist stuff that kids today learn. There is nothing wrong with the Flag or being a Redneck.
As for the knock on my intelligence, you should learn instead of generalizing. It makes you as ignorant as those you paint a portrait of.
Funny thing about my C Average President. He had a higher GPA than Kerry and he finished school, unlike AL Gore…
For a guy you all claim is so dumb you sure cry a lot about being fooled into a war and that he masterminded 9/11. Which is it? Typical lib, wants it both ways.
How did Democrats “sow” Sheehan? She is a loopy extremist shunned by both sides.
Regarding the Confederate Flag…
The Confederate Flag flew over a nation that was not America.
My suggestion to those in states who are still proud to fly the Confederate Flag is to secede.
Secede, if the flag you still desire to fly is the flag of the Confederate States of America.
This is the UNITED States of America.
She is shunned now. When she was hurting Republicans she was their tool.
Jan, my suggestion is to learn history. The states that the Confederate flag flew over tried to secede. Lincoln started a war against them and hundreds of thousands of people died so that Lincoln could keep the Union together. From that war we learned that states are not allowed to secede.
The war was about state’s rights and the right to secede, not slavery which just happened to be one of the issues that were argued as a state’s right.
Dog, you are dumber than dirt. There is no polite way to say it.
Impeachment is an inherently political process which means “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” can be whatever the Congress wants it to be. Furthermore, given this President has been found to have been in violation of the Constitution on no less than 6 occasions by 3 courts and the US Supreme court, finding grounds shouldn’t be hard.
As for your confederate rag position, wrong again. The Confederate States DID secede, create their own country, constitution, flag (actually many different flags until they settled on the “battle” flag we know today), created their own House, Senate, treasury, money supply and military. When Lincoln declared war, it wasn’t on the State of Alabama, it was on the Confederate States of America.
I know you Southern Rednecks are proud of being morons, and look at education as if it is a bad thing, but don’t try and act like you have 2 cents worth of a brain throwing “facts” that couldn’t be more wrong.
“from that war we learned that states were not allowed to secede”
Ummm… cause the CONSTITUTION didn’t teach you that first? Look under TREASON… Article III Section 3.
Considering it was the SOUTH that fired the first shots at Fort Sumter MONTHS after secession… oh hell, why do I try to educate a rock?
Cindy, unfortunately, does not have the experience of growing up in the Mafioso environment surrounding her father’s Baltimore mayoral administration in the 40’s.
Big Dog, I gotta tell you. You are one of the few Ive found to think the way I do about Lincoln and the War Between The States. I also feel that Lincoln was wanting more of the the money that southern states were making at the time. bj1boo
That part of the Constitution deals with treason and it would only be if a state still part of the union started war. Since South Carolina had seceded, and act thought to be legal by the founders (you know, the ones who wrote it) then it was not part of the union and did not commit treason. Our Declaration of Independence was our notice that we were leaving the tyranny of the Crown. The states declaring they had seceded was their Declaration.
Now, South Carolina had seceded and they sent a note to Fort Sumpter telling the commander that he needed to surrender the Fort. He was promised that he and his men, with all their possessions could leave and that they could show respect to their Flag by saluting it when they took it down. The commander declined so the Fort was fired upon.
Given the oppressive nature of Washington and the encroachment upon the rights of the southern states, there was a build up to war long before that shot was fired.
Check your history and let me know where you find that it is illegal to secede. All powers not granted the federal government are reserved for the states or the people. The right to secede would be among them.
Lincoln proved that he would not allow this and savaged the South.
Jim,
I never said that the war was against Alabama. The fact is the states seceded and that act was viewed as illegal by Lincoln and he waged war to bring the union back together.
The Flag was a symbol of the Confederate States and it was designed after the Union Jack. It is not a symbol of racism but of the states that tried to exercise rights believed to exist (and espoused by our founders).
Actually, since you are a bit wrong, let me educate you. I am from Maryland, a state that had troops on both sides, I have a private education and a degree in nursing. I served part of my time in the 29th Division, a unit that split into Union and Confederate troops. I also believe that displaying the Confederate Flag is as much a Constitutional right as some asshole who burns an American Flag. If you don’t like the Flag, too bad.
Your turn
No, I don’t have a problem with the Confederate flag. I have a problem with the clowns who fly it. It is part of our history, and that is where it should remain. Not to be forgotten, but learned from.
Now then; Kerry may have had a lower AVERAGE gpa than the little Shrub at Yale, but he improved his marks a great deal in his later years there. All the while participating in numerous extracurricular activities. He then went on to be a top student at the Naval Officer Candidate School and COMPLETED HIS TOUR OF DUTY IN VIETNAM.
“For a guy you all claim is so dumb you sure cry a lot about being fooled into a war and that he masterminded 9/11. Which is it? Typical lib, wants it both ways.”
No body of sound mind would ever suggest that Bush had anything to do with the events of 9/11, much less masterminded them. The man is a complete rube, and a failure at foreign, domestic, and economic policy. And a disgrace to our Nation. The only people fooled into a war are the ones who gave the authorization to send military forces to Iraq. And I didn’t vote for any of them.
My goodness Uh,wow, you are very vocal today.. In my opinion, if Kerry had gotten in the white house, our country would be history. Kerry is a yes man and doesnt know when to hush. I think he overstated what went on in Vietnam for his own glory.. Sorry but thats the way I feel.. .As I said earlier, we all have a right to free speech.bj1boo
I never served in Vietnam (too young) but I am sure the complete tour was longer than 3 months. Kerry came home after a few scratches and trumped up awards. Contrast that with the guys now days who lose a leg and beg to go back into battle. One is a political opportunist and the other a hero. Though I thank Kerry for his service he is the one who ran away from it and then tried to use it to get votes.
As for flying the Confederate Flag, why the problem. It is an expression of free speech by people who are proud of their heritage. There were brave men on both sides during the Civil War. Men who believed they were doing the correct thing. We fly that flag over Confederate cemetaries.
We allow people to burn the American Flag as an expression of free speech. Why disallow people who want to fly the Confederate Flag the same free expression? Are we only a free speech country when one agrees with the speech?

Sheehan brings new campaign through Houston
By ANNE MARIE KILDAY
Copyright 2007 Houston Chronicle
Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan spent her 50th birthday in Houston
today, attending events aimed at ending the war in Iraq.
Sheehan joined other activists who gathered on the Montrose bridge
during the afternoon rush hour to hold signs calling for the
impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.
Sheehan urged about 100 Houston peace activists to join join her
13-day caravan to Washington, D.C., where she plans to formally
announce her candidacy against U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Sheehan, a Californian, announced she will challenge Pelosi if the
lawmaker has not moved to impeach Bush and Cheney by July 23.
“My campaign is going to happen, because we know she is not going to
put impeachment on the table,” Sheehan said.
A spokesman for Pelosi said her “focus is on winning the war in Iraq.”
Sheehan said American troops should be immediately withdrawn from
Iraq.
“I have a very simple solution. Put our troops on the borders,”
Sheehan said. “Total and complete withdrawal, close the permanent
(military) bases, bring out the war profiteers.”
Since announcing her conditional candidacy against Pelosi, Sheehan
said the topic of impeachment has received more publicity.
Sheehan even suggested that the Bush administration would refuse a
peaceful transition after the November 2008 elections.
“This is why they have to be removed. There will not be a peaceful
transfer of power on Jan. 20, 2009,” Sheehan said. “I don’t want to be
an alarmist.”
In her speech at First Unitarian Universalist Church, Sheehan also
announced her new campaign, called People for Humanity, which is aimed
at ending the war, supporting veterans and sending medical supplies to
Iraqi refugees displaced by the war.
Many of the anti-war activists went to City Hall today and asked the
Houston City Council to support a resolution in favor of impeaching
Bush and Cheney.
“The actions of this administration have cost our city dearly,” said
John Beatty of Houston. “Most importantly in the lives of our children
in uniform, but also by increasing the number of Iraqi sympathizers
and increasing the risk of attacks on our refinery infrastructure.”
“When the National Guard is called to Iraq, the state’s ability to
control floods and wildfire is compromised,” said Christine Morshedi
of Tomball.
While some council members thanked the activists for exercising their
right of free speech, Councilman Michael Berry called them “terribly
rude” for wasting the council’s time. The mayor has a policy of not
allowing the council to take up non-binding resolutions.
“I never ran on the basis of whether to impeach the president or not,”
said Berry, a lawyer, businessman and conservative radio talk show
host.
Berry said the speakers were “taking up the time of people who have
issues that the city can actually address.”
“It’s not a political circus and that’s what Cindy Sheehan is about,”
Berry said.
Sheehan set up camp outside Bush’s Crawford ranch in 2005 as part of
her campaign to end the war in Iraq. Two months ago, Sheehan said she
was selling “Camp Casey,” named in honor of her 24-year-old son who
died in Iraq in April 2004.
In May, Sheehan said she was going home to California, after enduring
hatred and smear tactics from both the left and right.
This evening, Sheehan said she is “re-energized” by the idea of a
campaign against Pelosi and the new effort to help Iraq war veterans
and refugees.
Sheehan said she left the Democratic Party after Congress voted to
approve more funding for the way.
