Environmentally Correct Police Are On Their Way

For thirty years or so we have had to deal with the PC or Politically Correct Crowd, a group that decided what was politically correct to say and what was not. Despite no restrictions on the type of speech that is free in our Constitution, people were no longer allowed to use words like nigger, faggot, wetback, or a number of other words that were deemed to be not PC. No matter how detestable those words are, each American has a right to say them, or had a right. With the PC crowd came things like hate speech legislation so that if certain groups of people used words deemed to be “hateful” then they were in trouble. Protected groups, like blacks, Hispanics, and Muslims never answer for their “hate speech.”

It would appear that in our society, only whites and more specifically white Christians, can use language deemed not PC, or hate speech and the PC police have now made it so that if you disagree with a protected group or oppose something they want, you are guilty of some kind of racism or xenophobic behavior. Amazingly, a person can burn a Flag and it is free speech (only an American Flag. Burning another’s flag gets you arrested) but calling the Flag burner a name that is not PC can get a person fined or thrown in the slammer.

How does PC equate to EC (Environmentally Correct)? Quite simply, there will be (and in fact are right now) a number of acts and activities that will be deemed not to be EC. In time, these items will cause a burden on those who Al Gore says have not seen the light about Global Warming. Those who do not allow a theory to be assumed as true with no debate will be shot down and relegated to second class citizen. But these will only hurt certain groups of people. Al Gore spends $500 a month to heat his pool but he has money so he can buy a “carbon offset” to get away with this. Madonna, the singer who appeared at the woeful Live Earth Concert, has a number of gas hog vehicles and jets all over the world on a private aircraft that wastes fuel. She can plant a few trees and be off the hook. After all, she is trying to protect Mother Earth from the average slobs, the cretins who are ruining it.

The EC police have already started with anti-smoking rules in cities all over the country. In the US it is an expression of First Amendment rights to burn a Flag but burning tobacco could land one with a heavy fine. The EC police are ensuring that people are not allowed to smoke, a perfectly legal activity, and are thus imposing their will upon others. How else does the EC crowd impose its misguided beliefs upon others? In many states people pay more to register an SUV, partly based upon weight, but also because it uses more fuel. Many states are trying to impose added costs for vehicles deemed not to be environmentally friendly. The desire to impose fuel standards will remove certain classes of vehicles from the average driver (but will allow the rich to continue driving them).

There has been talk of fees for vehicles that use more fuel, larger houses (over a certain square footage), added costs if one exceeds a standard utility usage, and possibly even a carbon tax. Yes, the government is very good at taxing just about everything that exists and they are using the scare of Global Warming to increase taxes and to force people to comply with certain behaviors, behaviors deemed inappropriate by the EC crowd.

Al Gore and his minions put on the Live Earth concert and that little stunt generated more carbon in 24 hours than Afghanistan did all last year. These hypocrites jet all over, wasting fuel and then get in their heavy vehicles that are not fuel efficient. They have huge homes that cost a lot of money to keep heated and air conditioned and yet they have the nerve to tell us we need to curb our use of resources and that Global Warming is real.

This is typical of the elitists among us. They set up rules for us to follow that they do not. They make rules that we can be penalized for breaking while they continue to do as they see fit because they are the ruling class in society. We are moving closer and closer to a tyrannical leadership class that governs those subservient to them with iron fists and oppressive rules. Global Warming and the EC police are just the new front in the battle that drives us toward total control at the hands of a few.

Now I think I will go run my lawnmower, sit in my running Jeep and smoke a cigar. In case the EC Police want to come get me I should warn them that there is one other environmental hazard present here. Lead that travels very quickly and causes something similar to death by lead poisoning.
