First Muslim in Congress Should Resign

The first Muslim member of the US Congress, Keith Ellison, should resign from that institution. This is the person who used a Koran to swear in thus giving his allegiance to Allah and the will of Islam over that of his allegiance to the US. He is nothing more than the first wave of Muslims who will try to infiltrate the US government so that one day, as the majority, they can subvert the Constitution and impose Sharia Law.

Wow Big Dog, that is pretty harsh. Not as harsh as the words coming out of Ellison’s mouth. At a convention of atheists (it might have been some time ago) Ellison compared President Bush to Adolph Hitler. While the left has long compared Bush to Hitler, coming from a man whose religion espouses killing of those who do not believe in Islam is just a bit too much. Ellison insinuated that the President was responsible for 9/11 in order to trump up a reason for war. This is in line with the bulk of the kooks in the Democratic Party but when it comes from this guy it sounds as if he is trying to excuse the behavior of his brothers in arms. The evidence is quite clear that the government did not blow up the buildings.

I have given my far out theory before but I will do so again for the benefit of Ellison and any other idiot (Muslim or not) who lacks the sense to see it. A bunch of MUSLIMS (followers of ISLAM) hijacked four airplanes and flew them into three different buildings. The fourth plane crashed into the ground because of the acts of the heroic passengers who were able to overpower the cowards from Islam.

I hear Democrats call for the resignation of Republicans all the time. Some of them are certainly deserved and would mean something if the left actually did the same with regard to their bad actors. Instead we get attacks against Republicans all the time and there is a never ending call for a resignation. This is true all the way to the President who some have demanded resign while others demand impeachment.

I am tired of the double standard and I am tired of Muslim cretins like Ellison. I am now calling for the resignation of this so called man. He does not deserve to be in Congress. He has compared the President to Hitler which makes him no different than Osama bin Laden or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Ellison is a junior terrorist from Islam and needs to go. He needs to be taken to the sandbox in the Middle East and buried like the piece of cat crap that he is.

While we are at it, let’s ban Muslims from serving in our government. The only one they put there has proved that none of them belong.

    BD,

You’re ignorning the fact that most of the old-school Democrats defected to the Republican Party after the signing of the civil rights act. Of course, the Republicans have gladly accepted them.

Are there any *living* Republican civil rights pioneers? There should be some – people who fought the battles in the 50s and 60s are still around.

    Patsy,

To clarify, I own a business. I also own a variety of stocks.

Is the DOW even up 10% from where it was when Bush took office. The average is hardly an all encompassing barometer of economic performance under Bush and it’s not even that impressive, to boot.

You also conveniently omit explanation of the fact that the national debt has skyrocketed under Bush. Who’s going to pay the bill? Do you run your business by loading up on debt?

Of course Americans as a whole think our economy is headed in the wrong direction, as well.

US economic growth was just revised downward and Bush is in danger of being the first president in several decades to watch the rate of home ownership decline under his Presidency – and it won’t be something that can be blamed on Clinton; the housing bubble has occured on Bush’s watch.

Just out of curiosity, you never answered my question about whether or not God chose Bush Sr., Clinton, Reagon or anyone else (Stalin? Hitler?) for that matter. I was hoping you could elaborate a bit on God interfering in humanly affairs, like elections, for me. I’m sure you have some very logical explanation for why Bush was chosen by God and why others were – or weren’t.

  2. Patsy says:

Certainly not Clinton. I don’t think Clinton even believes in the Lord. Reagan definitely was a gift from God and Bush, Sr, is also a righteous man.

I’m disinclined to acquiesce to your demands for a detailed explanation of why George W. Bush was anointed by God to be this nation’s President.

But, just exactly how does God “interfere” in a world that belongs to Him?
Especially when a righteous man, such as our President, prays to Him and asks for His help, guidance and “intervention” to lead him to do God’s will.

You act like the national debt began on President Bush’s watch, same with the deficit.

Clinton’s deficit “reduction” was the result of President Reagan’s economic policies and President George H. W. Bush’s vetoes of all the Democratic Congress’ legislation that attempted to undo what Reagan put in place.

Clinton had nothing whatsoever to do with anything constructive or positive that happened economically. That was all Reagan.

Clinton’s accomplishments, the legacy he left behind is completely negative: he sold advanced missile satellite technology to the Chinese, who in turn contributed millions to his reelection campaign and later, to Hillary’s Senate campaign.

He put incompetent, malleable folks in top Justice Dept. posts and a lightweight Attorney General to preclude himself from facing the music for all his previous illegal dealings.

He ignored the rising menace of terrorism to the point that 9/11 happened. He embraced Yassar Arafat like he was God and that SOB died of AIDS. Arafat was nothing but a pedophile, terrorist who should have been taken out and shot decades ago for crimes against humanity.

If you are a business owner, you should be a Republican. Do you have employees, have to meet a payroll every couple of weeks, have to provide health benefits, sick pay, vacation pay, workers compensation, matching medicare & social security payments, pay for business liability insurance, unemployment insurance, equal opportunity employment commission, Federal licensing from several agencies, etc., etc., etc. The list is endless.

If you own stocks, then you’ve had an excellent couple of years, unless you’re picking your own stocks and you stink at it. But in this market you’d have to really stink at it.

Why don’t you ever address any of the facts I refute your lies with? BTW, when you collect more tax revenue, and reduce the deficit, you also reduce the rate at which the national debt increases. And the President isn’t the one who spends the money, BJ. But I’m pretty sure you know that already.

Congress spends the money. So hold them accountable and stop blaming the wrong branch of government. If you want the deficit & national debt problems solved, tell your Congresmen and Senators to knock off the earmarks and wasteful spending. It isn’t up to President Bush.

  3. Billy Joe says:

    Patsy,

What facts of yours should I be refuting? That you don’t think God chose Clinton but for some reason chose Bush? No wonder you’re disinclined to explain your reason – because it would only be ‘logical’ to someone who shares your extremist religious views. It may be God’s world, but he gave us free will, right? You should start a blog where you interpret God’s hand in human events though. I’m sure you’d be very popular. Maybe you could even apply your religious logic to the stock market? You could call your stocks “God’s Picks”

Should I be blaming this Congress only for the explosion in deficit spending or do I have your permission to include the Republican Congress before this one?

Why don’t we carry this debate over to my blog? It’s not as cluttered (fewer insane readers; most of them have predictably cut-and-run, including Big Dog) and you’re free to engage me there. I won’t ban you and you’re free to post the same stuff there that you post here. If you want to write up an ode to the Godliness of George Bush, I’ll even post it for you.

I have some posts up that you might find of interest, too. I actually cover the Iraq war which is something you seldom read about in right wing blogs anymore. As a side note, don’t you ever wonder why right wing blogs don’t really cover Iraq anymore? I thought the liberal media was failing to get the good news out about Iraq but now the right wing isn’t even getting the news out. They seem to be cutting-and-running from the battle even though they’re only fighting from their home office.

Anyway, you seem to have some time on your hands. Please feel free to dismantle me at my blog:

    http://breakingdimbulbs.blogspot.com/

I’ll even try to answer questions that I missed here.

  4. Big Dog says:

    Billy Troll,
Big Dog did not cut and run. He actually has a job that requires him to travel around the country. I was on one such mission recently.

Of course you can see that I have commented on this issue but you are telling a lie to beg people to visit your blog.

My blog is cluttered with insane readers? Yours involves an insane writer who has no readership.

Quit begging people to visit you. It is so unbecoming.

  5. Patsy says:

I am not interested in visiting your blog, BJ, nor starting my own.

And I don’t have that much time on my hands. We’re in between jets, at the moment, but 2 just arrived so I’ll have to run for now.

You don’t read what I write, just pick out snippets to twist into the pretzels you make.

I have blasted the previous Republican Congress all over this thread and several others for their irresponsible and outrageous spending.

And you obviously don’t read this blog very much if you think the war isn’t reported here. I am not interested in reading anything you might have to say about it either. You don’t tell the truth about the war or know the truth about the war. You have nothing to offer of interest to anyone who supports this war.

  6. Billy Joe says:

I see. You both write posts (BD) or comments (Patsy) prolifically, but don’t have the time (or courage?) to take off your blog training wheels and venture into non-wingnut territory.

That’s very heroic of you. What ever happened to fight them over there so you don’t have to fight them here? You don’t even apply it in your everyday life.

It’s no problem. I’ll keep posting here then. I figured Patsy’s brain couldn’t accomodate contrary thoughts anyway. She needs the grunts of reinforcement that she gets from the knuckle-dragging, kill-em-all morons of the right wing blogosphere. Given her Osama bin Laden-like devotion to her God, it’s probably like Jesus telling her to flip the switch and exterminate everyone who doesn’t robotically repeat everything her Dear Leader tells her to think.

I’ll address the points in your wealth redistribution post soon.

  7. Patsy says:

Insults aren’t going to work, either, BJ. Manipulative tactics are infantile and ineffective, nice try.

  8. Big Dog says:

    Troll,
There is no over there or over here in an Internet dispute so your logic is once again flawed. Your infantile attempt to get people to visit you is really beneath honor. I don’t visit your site because you keep begging me to, not because I care what you write. If I cared what you wrote I would ban you from here but the plain truth is I DO NOT CARE.

I know you BT. You troll around the sites of conservatives starting trouble. I am friends with nearly every blog owner you have pestered and the group think is to ignore you. This is not a wing nut blog, it is the opinion of someone who PAYS for his own hosting service and writes what he thinks. Though I have the right to free speech I also served to preserve that right though your silliness sometimes pushes the envelope on what should be tolerated.

I have refrained from insulting you BT and I am getting tired of this moron and knuckle dragging rant you go on.

Here are your rules of engagement. Attack the argument and not the arguer. If you want to insult intelligence or mock people do it elsewhere. I respect your opinions though I do not agree with them but you are pushing the limits here with the disrespect to me. You are a guest at my site and my guests should have better manners.

I find it absolutely amazing how brave people are when they are on a computer. I would imagine you would not have the nerve to call me a knuckle dragging moron if we were having a conversation in a bar someplace. I am certain you would not have the nerve twice.

  9. Big Dog says:

One other thing, blog training wheels? You have had a blog for what, two months now? I have been blogging for nearly 4 years.

I have regular visitors and you beg for visits, get real. You need to put your crash helmet back on and spend some time on the blogosphere before you can even compete…

  10. Patsy says:

Quite right, Big Dog. And may I say what a fine blogger you are, sir. I truly enjoy your insight and wisdom. I never fail to learn something from what you’ve written. You are a most tolerant host, as well. Thank you for your hospitality.
