Here is a Clue, Pray in a Mosque

A Muslim woman in Michigan has filed a complaint because a patron of a gym interrupted her prayers and when she complained she was told “you have to respect her [patron] but she does not have to respect your God.” I don’t know if those were really the words used because I was not there but it does not matter. The whole point is, she was praying in a gym and it bothered her that another patron was in the gym, now get this, to work out.
If this Muslim or any other wants to pray that is their business but the world does not stop functioning because it is prayer time. If they pray in a gym they might just get interrupted by people using the gym. There is no rule that says the rest of us have to be quiet while they pray. Some Muslim named Imad Hamad from the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee said that it is OK if a Jew or a Christian wants to pray but the Muslims are picked on. I beg to differ Hadji, if a Jew or Christian is praying then they pray and they do not expect the world to be quiet for them. In addition, they pray in houses of worship where one is supposed to pray.
I have an idea for these folks. Don’t pray in the gym and people will not lift weights in their mosques.

You hit the nail on the head, my friend. This is not a question of equal rights, but rather of special rights and treatment… and I just love your closing line.
Thanks for commenting Ric. I am tired, as I know you are, of non-Muslims having to bend over backwards not to offend a group of people who think they own the world. I don’t know anyone who would deny them or anyone else the right to pray. Hell, I pray when I am out driving but I do not expect everyone to pull over so I can finish asking God to keep an idiot from running into me.
how could they possibly pray in a mosque with all the explosives, ammunition and firearms laying about
