House Silent on Brit’s Plight

The US Senate, before it adjourned on a one week break (these weasels get more breaks than union employees), passed a resolution condemning the Iranians for taking 15 British warriors hostage by violating Iraqi territorial waters. The resolution calls for the immediate, safe and unconditional release of the Brits. The House, on the other hand, has been silent on the plight of our allies’ war fighters.
Nancy Pelosi has been too busy taking a vacation to Israel on taxpayer money under the guise of a fact finding mission to address the issue. How many trips do members of Congress need to take to Israel to gather facts? How many more facts can there be to gather? Regardless, Pelosi is over there being shown around instead of over here doing her job. I guess it would not matter since the House is on a two week break. So much for fewer breaks and longer work weeks.
Several Republicans have expressed concern over the silence of the shams on the left. The Congressional leadership (now there is a misnomer) decided not to get involved:
“The leadership discussed it and agreed that inserting Congress into an international crisis while ongoing would not be helpful,” Daly said. Breitbart
Leave it to a bunch of lefties not to have the balls to insert itself in the name of our friends. I guess they are waiting to see which way this turns out before they pick a side. It is painfully obvious that Iran violated Iraqi territory and abducted 15 British war fighters. It is also obvious that Iran is forcing these same warriors to say they were wrong and that they are being treated well. The damned Democrats are too spineless to even use words to condemn this so you know they will be spineless when it comes time to act. They are cowardly and they make me sick and this should be a clear message to our troops; if faced with the same situation fight, fight, fight or you will be held hostage for a long time. It is the Carter way of the Democratic Party.
To paraphrase George Patton, I would rather have a battalion of terrorists in front of me than the Democrats in Congress behind me.

For these damned politicians not to stand with Britain in Britain’s time of crisis disgraces our nation!
Meanwhile, with Keith Ellison in tow, Pelosi is yukking it up with our enemies in the Middle East. God!
