Joe Wilson Was Right, Obama Lies

On 9 September, 2009 Representative Joe Wilson shouted “you lie” after Obama made the claim that none of the proposals (Obamacare) would pay for the health care of illegal aliens.
The reforms I’m proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally.
This prompted Wilson’s outburst and led to his apology and a rubuke from Congress (a partisan attack by Democrats).
The problem is, Wilson was right. The Department of Health and Human Services has announced the grant money that will go to to areas serving migrant workers and the immigration status of workers will not be checked.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced on Tuesday that it has awarded $28.8 million to 67 community health centers with funds from the Obamacare health reform law.
Of that $28.8 million, “approximately $8.5 million will be used by 25 New Access Point awardees to target services to migrant and seasonal farm workers,” Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Spokeswoman Judy Andrews told CNSNews.com. HRSA is a part of HHS.
Andrews said that grant recipients will not check the immigration status of people seeking services.
Health centers do not, as a matter of routine practice, ask about or collect data on citizenship or other matters not related to the treatment needs of the patients seeking health services at the center. CNS News
This means that some of those migrant workers will be illegals and will get health care services paid for with Obamacare money. If they are not going to check (and why wouldn’t they) then they are allowing people who are here illegally to use the health care services.
In other words, as Joe Wilson put it to Mr. Obama;
YOU LIE!

And this is a surprise? Osama, er- Obama has been lying since he was a lil’ hybrid baby, and he hasn’t stopped since- I guess his mom was absent too much to pop him on the butt as she should have, if she was there instead of off doing drugs and whatever else an absentee mom does, while the grandparents dote.
The only lie here is from the right. Obama was speaking about insurance reforms mandating coverage for illegal immigrants. They do. He didn’t lie. Watch the video.
Do you honestly think Obama meant that that no reform in the bill would ever help a clinic or business that may assist illegal immigrant patients? Wait. What am I asking? I’m expecting rational critique of Obama’s actions from a group of irrational partisan Republicans?
He said his reforms would not APPLY. By allowing the Secretary of DHHS to write the rules and do as she pelases Obamacare is applying to illegals. The reforms I am proposing would not apply is what he said. The fact is, his proposals do apply. The Secretary of DHHS has made a rule that MANDATES coverage for illegals by not allowing us to check immigration status.
You can say that you don’t expect rational critique from irrational partisans but the reality is we cannot expect rational critique from you because you find no fault, no lie, no nothing. Even blatant lies are dismissed or rationalized by you..
Yes, he said his reforms would not APPLY…to insurance reforms. Or did you just miss that whole part of my comment as you skipped right to repeating the very same lie I just called you out on?

We want NO tax money going to illegals. Period. End of story.
There is no lie except what Obama said. No taxpayer money would go to insurance reforms. What the DHHS is doing is authorized under the law reforming insurance in America. They connect Adam.
I don’t expect you to understand. You still think Al Gore won in 2000 and that man made global warming is real even with evidence contrary to those opinions…
I wish that this story could gain more traction. So many of my usually-aware conservative friends haven’t heard about this story.
