Liberals Are Always Victims, Just Ask Obama’s Family

Looks like Obama’s aunt Zeituni, who was in America illegally until Obama was elected, is now the victim in all this mess. Aunt Zeituni has had many excuses for why she was here illegally and they all boil down to, she broke the law. She should have been deported long ago and if she was not related to Barack Obama she would have been sent home. Coincidences are fairly rare so it is highly likely that he or someone in his administration had something to do with her being allowed to stay.
In any event, Zeituni says that if a person comes here as an immigrant we have an obligation to make that person a citizen. In true Obama victim style, Zeituni is convinced that she was the victim in all this and that this great nation had an obligation to make her a citizen.
No lady, we had no such obligation. Becoming an American citizen is a privilege not a right so don’t play that liberal “I have the right to…” twaddle because it will not fly.
You, woman, had an obligation to take your sorry butt home after your legal time here had expired. You had an obligation to report back to court and you had an obligation to leave once you were told to do so.
We have no obligation to you or any other person who comes here as our guest and breaks the law (or comes here as the result of breaking the law). The only obligation we have is to the Constitution and the rule of law and that obligation includes throwing you out of our country.
So shut your mouth and enjoy the special favor you have been given by your nephew. But don’t play the victim card because you are not a victim, you are a criminal.
The article says that Zeituni claims the system made her a victim because it took care of her even though she was illegal. I don’t think the system took advantage of her or made her a victim just because it took care of her. That does not make her a victim, it makes her the recipient of kindness. But she is right, we should have refused to care for her and instead shipped her back home.

Americans have no idea how to rebut such arbitrary assertions of rights, because we’ve never learned the difference between a right and a permission, or that between a right and a privilege, or that between a right and an indulgence. Our legal and Constitutional language has been hopelessly fouled by the conflation of these concepts. We won’t get relief until we learn, as a nation, how to unsnarl them.
And your evidence that Zeituni is a liberal?
Her life would be a great clue. Or should we just use the porn standard?
Her life? So immigrants are all liberals or just those that overstay their visa? Or maybe homeless people? Are they all liberals? Maybe you can explain what it is about her life that screams “liberal” or maybe you can just ignore those voices in your head.

She lives off other people. She is not here working and earning a living, she is here sucking at the teat of the social program money just like liberals do. Did she ever pick herself up and make something of herself? No, she hid, avoided the law, disobeyed the court, and lived in publicly provided (read TAXPAYER PROVIDED) housing. All of this points to liberalism as in the gubmint spose to take care of everyone…

A liberal is not always easily defined but you know one when you see one.
So again I have to ask: Only liberals are without a job, live in public housing, and draw government benefits? I assume at this point asking you to back up your ridiculous view here with verifiable information is a waste of my time?
No not only, but the majority of them. She donated to Obama’s campaign (illegally I might add) and she thinks she is owed something after coming ilegally. These are liberal positions. Try to deflect all you ant but her actions and what she says aligns more closely with all you libs who ignore immigration laws and think people have a right to walk on in and stay.
Liberals are the FIRST in line for assistance from the government- I have, in my time, picked decorative weeds for floral displays, and sold them to florist shops when I couldn’t find work- I have picked up cans, and worked at day labor jobs when the economy was bad- this was in ’76- ’78- Carter’s good ol’ “stagflation”.
The ONE thing I have never done was seek government assistance- to myself, THAT is an indication that I can’t support myself, and am thus a failure, at least to myself- it is a symbol of giving up, and that is something I will never do.
How about this one, Adam — can you provide me with the voter registration statistics for those in public housing? Do you honestly believe you’re going to find one public housing unit in the country where liberals are not the majority?
