Mandatory Support Is Not Support
Apr 22, 2015 Military, Political
When one is forced to support something then it is not real support. That is not to say that the person does not actually support the idea or program but when that support is forced it is not genuine.
The US military is pushing the sexual assault programs and there are numerous mandatory training sessions that everyone must attend. Mandatory training is one thing and all employers have it.
The problem comes when there are voluntary support programs like 5K runs for a cause or dance-a-thons for the cause and those voluntary programs are made mandatory.
When people are forced to run a 5K race to support something or face negative consequences they do not do it for the cause, they do it to keep from having problems at work. Unfortunately, this leads people to dislike the very things people are trying to get them to support.
The members of an Army ROTC unit at Arizona State University are victims of this type of poor leadership. There was an event called Walk a Mile in Her Shoes to raise awareness of sexual assault toward women. The idea is for men to wear women’s heeled shoes and walk a mile in them. I have seen some of these locally and the people who participated did so voluntarily.
The ROTC members were forced to buy heeled shoes and paint them red so they could participate in the event. They had no choice in the matter. They were forced to participate in a voluntary event. This means they were not supporting the event because they only did it to avoid a negative review that would have affected their careers.
The entire situation discredits the Army and the ROTC program involved and demonstrates a complete lack of leadership on part of those running the place. It also lessens the program it was intended to support.
What does it say about a program when leaders have to force subordinates to support it?
Some cadets are not happy and they voiced that displeasure on social media. I do not blame them.
They were forced to wear a pair of women’s shoes they had to pay for and paint red to make their command look good.
Hey commander, red heeled shoes are not part of the military uniform.
The cadets were seeing red in more ways than one.
And deservedly so.
Piss poor leadership is the hallmark of the new military.

McCain Can’t Let Go
Oct 23, 2013 Political
Senator John McCain had earlier indicated that he would not run for reelection in 2016 when his current six year term is up. The grumpy old man seems not to be able to let go of power or perhaps he is having too much fun ruining the country because he is now indicating he will run again.
“I’m seriously thinking about maybe giving another opportunity for you to vote for or against me in a few years from now,” McCain said on KFYI-AM in Phoenix. “I’m seriously giving that a lot of thought.” Washington Post
Dear John, do the nation a favor and retire. You will be 80 years old in 2016 and you should spend your time lashing out at neighborhood children for walking on your lawn instead of playing video games in the Senate. Hell, think about it John, you could retire and play all the video games you want without worrying the media will snap photos of you doing it.
You are no longer needed. In fact, you are at least 20 years past your best by date. Yes John, I voted for you in the 2008 presidential election but that was because I like Sarah Palin. She is a conservative. Look it up John so you know what it means.
You have failed your state and you have failed your country with your spineless retreat from Obama and his regime. You are part of the problem and not part of the solution.
Please, leave for greener pastures and let the real leaders like Mike Lee and Ted Cruz get something done without your perpetual interference.
People of Arizona, if McCain runs for reelection please do your state and the nation a favor and vote him out of office.
The Senate does not need another doddering old fool drooling in the corner waiting for a diaper change while flinging poo at the real leaders.
Dump McCain…
Or he will dump on you.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Obama’s Catch And Release Is Deadly
Jul 31, 2012 Immigration, Political
It is no secret that Obama panders to the illegal community. He has enacted his version of the DREAM Act via Executive Order, he has ignored their presence in the country and he has sued a sovereign state to keep that state from enacting and enforcing immigration laws that are EXACTLY LIKE THE FEDERAL LAWS.
Obama does not look at illegals as being here in violation of the law. He looks at them as Democrat voters. They are no problem to him and his party because they are viewed as people who deserve a chance and, well, if they happen to vote Democrat that is all the better.
Right.
Obama has no issue with illegals being here because he can feel a kinship with them in that none of them have their papers.
Obama tells us not to worry and that these folks are no problem. According to a report from the House Judiciary Committee:
Those who could have been deported but were released later went on to commit the 19 murders, 3 attempted murders and 142 sex crimes, the Judiciary Committee said
Those crimes could have been prevented (like the murder of our Border Patrol Agent and hundreds of Mexicans by Fast and Furious could have been prevented) but Obama chose to ignore the law. Democrats are perfectly happy with the catch and release program and keeping illegals here. In fact, they are upset at programs that would deport those here illegally:
Many Democrats say it [Secure Communities program] casts its net too wide, which means illegal immigrants who have committed relatively minor offenses could be deported.
If they are here illegally then they committed a crime that is not relatively minor and they should be deported.
While Americans are subject to violent crimes committed by people Obama allows to stay here illegally he is protected from the violence by a large number of armed guards.
Typical liberal.

Arizona Fights Back
Jan 21, 2012 Political
What goes around comes around and this is certainly the case with Arizona and the lawless Obama regime. The Obama regime fought tooth and nail against Arizona’s illegal immigration law (meaning a law to control illegal immigration, not a law that was illegal) and violated the Constitution in the process. While the regime was violating the Constitution with regard to the immigration law (specifically the court in which they fought it) they were violating laws in Arizona, or so it seems.
Arizona has launched an investigation into Fast and Furious, the gun running scheme the Obama regime enacted to give them a reason for tougher gun laws. They basically forced gun store owners to allow illegal purchases of firearms and allowed the guns to cross into Mexico where the US lost track of them. They ended up in the hands of drug cartels. The regime wanted to make claims about lax gun laws so it could introduce tougher ones but their plan hit a snag when a border patrol agent was killed with one of the weapons and the scheme was made public.
So now the Arizona officials will look to see if the federal government and people working for it violated any of Arizona’s laws.
What would be more fitting than having some of the people involved prosecuted for violating Arizona laws after the regime worked so hard to interfere with Arizona’s illegal immigrant law?
Two can play the you broke the law game. Right now Arizona has the upper hand and the regime’s schemes are falling apart.
I bet they never figured a state would fight back.
The figured wrong.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

I Was Profiled In Arizona
Aug 8, 2010 Political
I am in Arizona to attend a conference (no boycott here) and something quite troubling happened to me. I was asked for my identification. In fact, I was asked for my ID several times within the first hour of being in the state. I was asked for identification when I picked up my rental car and then I was asked for my identification when I checked into the hotel. Fortunately for me I had identification that meets the Arizona requirement to assume I am here legally. I am, of course, an American citizen and would not have been insulted if I had no ID and they checked my immigration status.
It is quite obvious that I do not meet the demographic of an illegal in this part of our country but we cannot single out people based on what they look like because that would be profiling and even though profiling is an important part of police work, it is not allowed unless the government wants to go after conservatives. Then it is OK for them to put out reports that profile certain groups of people and decide that they might be domstic terrorists based on the profile.
That is the only time it is allowed. Nearly all acts of terrorism over the last 20 years or so have been committed by Middle Eastern men between the ages of 18 and 45. Armed with that handy bit of information our government refuses to give closer scrutiny to that group so as not to offend the people most likely to commit terror. Instead the government would rather harass little old ladies. As far as I know, little old ladies have never been involved in terrorist acts here in the US.
I had no problem showing my ID in Arizona. The truth is I am asked for my ID thousands of times a year. I was asked for my ID by TSA today before I was allowed to board the aircraft. If I did not have ID they could have denied me entry or detained me. I am asked for my ID when I travel, cash a check, use a credit card, when I got my license, when I took my nursing license exam and my specialty certification exam, my EMT exam, and I was asked to show my ID when I applied for (and when I renewed) my passport. I was even asked for ID when I opened a bank account and the information collected was shared with DHS. If I did not do things right I would have suffered the consequences. Illegals, on the other hand are not suffering enough yet because they keep coming here.
Those are perfectly OK in the eyes of our government and if I did not have ID the government would be OK with anything negative that happened as a result of not having the ID. Arizona asked me for ID and I would have been refused my car and my hotel room without it.
But ask certain other groups for ID and then have consequences for anyone who does not have it and all hell breaks loose.
Only in the backwards world of progressives can the government side with illegals and another country against a state for actually upholding the law and at the same time ignore sanctuary cities who by definition break the law and encourage others to do so.
How does the left justify this?
As for you Arizona, I was happy to provide my ID and did not consider it profiling, racial or otherwise. I considered it following the rules…

Never surrender, never submit.
