If Obama Was White The Blacks Would Be Marching
Sep 19, 2011 Political
Congressional Black Caucus Chairman, Representative Emanuel Cleaver, said that if Obama was a white guy the CBC would likely be marching on the White House. Cleaver couched his racism by claiming that the CBC reaction is less volatile because they don’t want to do anything to empower people who hate Obama.
Unhappy members of the Congressional Black Caucus “probably would be marching on the White House” if Obama were not president, according to CBC Chairman Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.).
“If [former President] Bill Clinton had been in the White House and had failed to address this problem, we probably would be marching on the White House,” Cleaver told “The Miami Herald” in comments published Sunday. “There is a less-volatile reaction in the CBC because nobody wants to do anything that would empower the people who hate the president.” The Hill
Cleaver gives the impression that he and his CBC are not doing anything because there are people who hate Obama and his underlying message (let’s call it black code) is that racists want to hurt Obama and the CBC does not want to help with that.
The violence comes from the deranged (and racist) left. They are the ones out biting off fingers and shooting members of Congress. They are the ones who have assassinated or attempted to assassinate US presidents so Cleaver, while playing the veiled (black code) race card is actually worried about a deranged liberal doing something bad.
He openly admits that he would not be worried about people who hated Bill Clinton. If Clinton were president then Cleaver would be marching on the White House and would not care about people who hated ole Bill (this gives credence to the claim it is a veiled message about racism).
The left never worried about what it did and how it would affect George Bush. The left was happy when Bush was threatened or there was a chance he would be hurt. The left openly carried signs calling for his assassination and the left made a movie that depicted Bush being assassinated.
And yet, it is the right who is called violent…
The CBC has a bunch of racists as members. If, given similar circumstances, they would march on a white president but not on a black one then they are racists.
Keep in mind, this group (along with its race baiting liberal followers) tells us that the TEA Party is a racist organization because it sprung up during a black man’s tenure and not a white man’s. These people will claim that opposition to big government and out of control spending is racist because Obama is black and Bush received no such criticism (a blatant lie).
Yes, it is racist to criticize Obama because he is black but it is not racist to state that you would be marching on a white president if he had the same record as the black one.
What should we expect from an organization that is racist in its own formation? It is the black caucus (white people are not allowed to join it) and there is no Congressional White Caucus (if there was the blacks, especially those in the CBC, would call it racist).
Let us recap. Emanuel Cleaver, the leader of the Congressional Black Caucus, has stated that if a white guy was president the CBC would likely be marching on the White House because of the current conditions but since a black guy is there they won’t do it. The idea of marching on the White House is an admission that the current occupant is doing a poor job but since he is black he should not be held to the same standard as any white guy who holds the office. When conditions are bad march on the white guy but not the black guy.
Different standards for the same job.
Yep, Obama is the affirmative action president.

Black Caucus Getting Uneasy With Obama
Aug 17, 2011 Political
Maxine Waters was out slamming Barack Obama today as she discussed her concerns with the folks. She said that Obama was not doing what he was supposed to be and that he was not in the black neighborhoods. Perhaps she does not understand that Obama is a politician (wait, I think she commented on that) and that he goes to where he needs the votes. His approval rating is way down to 26% (not that you would know it by the media coverage that took great pleasure in telling us about Bush’s bad numbers) and he needs votes.
Obama does not need to go to the black neighborhoods. He will get 90-95% of the black vote because he is a Democrat and because he is black. What he needs is the white vote. He can get 100% of all the eligible black votes in the country and cannot win without support from whites. His approval numbers are down in middle America, and area he did well in during the last election, and he knows that without those states he will not win a second term.
So Waters can complain all she wants, Obama is a politician and he knows that he has the black vote wrapped up. He will throw them some bones near the election (like all Democrats do) in order to keep them on the plantation but he has that constituency wrapped up. The only thing he needs to worry about is getting them to the polls.
I predict that the black vote will be down in 2012. Many will be disenchanted with Obama because the newness has worn off. He is no longer an unknown novelty. He has a record now and people are not happy with it. He might get a good turnout if he throws the right bones but the turnout will not be like it was in 2008.
Obama is in trouble with the Independents and the whites who voted for him out of guilt or out of desire for something different. They now know they made a mistake and do not want to make it again.
He has failed to keep his promises and the unemployment rate is way above the 8% he promised when he said we had to pass the Stimulus. And yes, his folks made that claim and one of those who made the claim is saying now that unemployment will not be below 8% before the election. The unemployment rate in the black community is much higher and they are not happy.
Maxine Waters was asking for permission to go after Obama and she got it. It will be interesting to see how things turn out in 2012.
But make no mistake, he will get the lion’s share of the black voters who decide to actually vote.

Remember what Jay Carney said about Bush and photo op vacations?

Democrats Rangel With Racial Politics
Sep 17, 2008 Political
I have heard, time and again, that people who do not vote for Obama are racists. It does not matter if you are 100% opposed to his political ideologies, if you don’t vote for him you are a racist. Not only are you a racist but you are denying the black community what they deserve. A female reporter named Fatimah Ali even says that it will cause a race war if people do not vote for Obama. I guess she thinks once you go Barack you never go back. She actually made the race war comment in a previous column. This week, after a few redneck crackers sent her emails, she is sure we are already in a race war.
I have little concern for this. I hardly see how 12% of the population could effect damage on 55% of it so a war in the traditional sense is probably not likely but I imagine there will be violence. If Obama wins there will be riots in celebration and if he loses there will be riots of anger. Either way cities will look like the Rodney King verdict all over again. Before you call me racist, I am merely expanding on what Ali wrote.
The Democrats and the black community (I know, redundant) are not afraid to point out any instance of perceived racism. They are so good at it they can listen to every day words and decide that they are racist code words for black people. I know that there will be some people who do not vote for Obama because he is black just as there are some people who will not vote for McCain because of his age. I hesitate to say that the 90% black vote for Obama has racist undertones because any Democrat, regardless of color, gets at least 90% of the vote. But there are definitely racial issues in the black community.
Charlie Rangel has been cooking his personal financial books for many years. His tax evasion and ethical violations have recently come to light and he is facing some serious problems. He was asked by Speaker Pelosi to step down as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee (though Pelosi says she did not discuss it with him). Pelosi has a bit of a problem because even if she wanted to remove him she can’t.
The Congressional Black Caucus has put its support 100% behind Rangel and they will not allow him to be removed. This caucus has so much power that one member said “”Nancy won’t challenge us on this, even if she wants to.”
Now, here is a man who has broken any number of laws, infractions that would land us in jail, and the Black Caucus thinks that he should keep his position. These people must feel that it is perfectly OK for a person to break the law so long as he is black (and a Democrat). If Rangel were white or a Republican they would be barking at the moon trying to get him removed. Is it any wonder that people view the black groups with contempt? They expect justice unless one of their own is involved.
I guess we can chalk this up to affirmative action which seems to be playing big on the national spotlight. Obama is the affirmative action candidate and Rangel is the recipient of the benefits of affirmative action.
He won’t be removed from his position and that decision is based solely on his skin color. I have a dream that one day people will be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
Looks like Charlie has not had that dream yet. Good thing. If we judged him by the content of his character he would be in jail already.
Way to have that most ethical Congress Madam Speaker.
Also, Rangel was in the process of divorcing his wife of 40 years and she intimate knowledge of their finances. I believe that these disclosures came to light as a result of disclosures related to the divorce. Anyway, Rangel has called off the divorce. I think that might be so that she cannot be compelled to testify against him. This makes it even more apparent that he is guilty and knew what he was doing.
Thank Goodness we have the National Black Republican Association
