Better Ban Assault Pressure Cookers

The tragic bombing in Boston hurt over 100 people and was as devastating as the shootings in Aurora, Tucson and Newtown. So far not as many people have died as a result of the bombs but more were injured and there are plenty who have lost limbs. All of these incidents were carried out by bad people with no regard for human life.
After the shootings the anti gun crowd ratcheted up pressure to impose more gun control. The gun control has passed in several states and the US Congress is debating the issue as well. None of the measures will stop murders and none of them would have stopped the shootings because bad people do not obey the law.
This has not stopped the anti gun people from playing on emotions and telling us that if the life of only one child is saved then it would be worth it. If they really meant that they would push to ban abortion and save the lives of millions of children. That is not part of the agenda so that is not discussed. It is also why the Democrat stenographers in the media are ignoring the trial of the abortion doctor in Philadelphia who murdered babies who were born alive.
Back on point. A few murders by gun and the anti gun, anti Constitution crowd clamors to get rid of guns.
The people who bombed the Boston Marathon used pressure cookers filled with ball bearings. These were high capacity pressure cookers, if you will.
We need laws to immediately ban these devices so that more people will not be murdered with them.
An eight year old boy was killed in the bombing.
If we can save the life of only one child…

Did She Really Want To Go There?

Delegate Eleanor Holmes of DC is outraged at the way DC is being treated in the budget process. She is so upset that the federal government is telling DC what to do with its money in regard to paying for abortions.
It’s time that the District of Columbia told the Congress to go straight to hell, Norton continued after explaining how an attached rider to the latest bill prevented D.C. from spending its own money on abortions for low income women. My FOX
We don’t need to get into the whole DC is not a state and falls under the federal government. Explaining the Constitution to liberals is a waste of time.
But what we do need to ask is why Norton chose these words to describe the process:
We are absolutely outraged. This is the functional equivalent of bombing innocent civilians. [same source]
A budget process that stops funding the murder of innocent life is like carpet bombing innocent civilians. Is she serious about this? Did she intend to equate the budget process to the killing of innocent civilians in order to justify the murder of innocent life?
Delegate Moron, the murder of innocent life is the functional equivalent of bombing innocent civilians.
Perhaps those cutting funding should have made that argument. Imagine how Holmes would be reacting of some politician said that allowing tax dollars to pay for abortion is the functional equivalent of bombing innocent civilians.
I bet Holmes would be apoplectic.
Liberals, fighting for the murder of the unborn each and every day…
And yes, please, fund our abortions but don’t pay the troops.

More Tough Times For The Evil One

The hits just keep on coming. Barack Obama is set to spend even more money that we do not have on things we do not need. He is set to impose oppressive taxes on the wealthy, or so he says because everyone will be affected. Most liberals cannot see this and will likely not realize it until they are on a corner with a tin cup and dark glasses with a sign that says “Will Protest for Pot.”
Looks like Obama is in for a fight from his own party. Many Democrats do not like the limit placed on itemized deductions because they know most people will cut donations to charity first. Other than that they might jump on board with a tax increase because most of them don’t pay their taxes anyway. That is a prerequisite to serve in the Obama administration. [My Way News]
Looks like Israel has finally figured that Obama and the Democrats are not really their friends. They finally realized that Hillary Clinton is an ally of Palestine when she kept blasting Israel for problems related to Hamas’ constant attacks on Israel. Hillary is critical of checkpoints set up by the Israelis and thinks they give a wrong signal. Checkpoints were st up in the very places she opposes so that she could travel there. She wanted protection she wants to deny Israel.
Israel has come to the realization that if anything is to be done about Iran it will be a solo act. Israel will have to carry out a raid on the nuclear plant alone if she wants it accomplished.
Hopey Obama is too busy trying to meet with the rogue leaders so he is too busy to help Israel out. Sparks are going to fly soon. [Jerusalem Post]
Union leaders at posh hotel while workers are losing jobs.
AFL-CIO union executives are at a luxury resort in Miami. They are out living the high life while their dwindling membership continues to decrease. A lot of union members are not working and their leaders going out to a fancy place like this sends the wrong message.
I wonder if Obama will say something like he did when companies honored their corporate sponsorship agreements and went to the Super Bowl even though they took TARP money (they pretty much had to take it, even if they did not want to).
The unions have Obama in their hip pocket so there should be no problem. [Breitbart TV]
It is going to get worse. Obama has been on the job a little more than a month and he is starting to go gray.
He might be up to 2 packs a day by now.

Some Advice for Israel

Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit has been in captivity for two years after he was abducted by militants in Gaza. He recently sent a letter begging his country not to forget him and that he wanted to be home. He also indicated that his health was failing. There is no reason that this soldier should still be in captivity. His country started fighting to get him back but the UN complained about the disproportionate response. Sadly, our own country worked to get the fighting stopped. The people who took Shalit will not let him go unless they are afraid. Here is what Israel should do:
Send notification to the UN that they have one week to get the soldier released. He needs to be alive and relatively unharmed. If, at the end of the week, the UN has failed to get him released Israel will give his captors an additional 24 hours to send him home. Israel needs to make it clear to the UN and to the terrorists holding him that they plan to bomb his captors into oblivion if they fail to release him as outlined.
Israel needs to make absolutely certain that the UN and the captors as well as those harboring them know that the bombing campaign will not stop until the place is leveled and every living thing is killed. Then, if he is not released, Israel needs to make good on the threat and they need to continue bombing the place until the soldier is released or everyone is killed. It is that simple and the UN needs to understand that Israel will not bow to pressure because they gave that body its chance.
If other countries feel the need to get involved Israel needs to make clear its intent to use nuclear weapons against any country that jumps into the fray. Israel should be relentless and keep killing until they put fear in the hearts of everyone so that they will be left alone. It should also be made clear that any news organization that gets in the way will be considered the enemy and dealt with. Israel does not need more of al-Reuters passing around a baby that Israel did not kill as propaganda.
Gilad Shalit might end up dying in the attack but it is obvious that he is in poor health and that his captors do not care about him. They can, of course, avoid a massacre by releasing the soldier. After the demands are made the ball will be in the court of the UN and the captors. The deadline might seem short but they have had two years to solve this problem.
It is time to stop playing games with these terrorists and start injecting them with fear instead.
