Charlie Rangel’s War

Known tax evader Charlie Rangel has partly satisfied his obligation to pay his taxes in that he wrote checks for the amount of money owed for the taxes he neglected to pay. However, Rangel has not paid any of the fines and penalties that should accompany his remittance to the IRS. The average citizen would be hounded to death with enormous fines and penalties. Rangel is the head of the committee that writes the tax laws. One would think he would know the rules so either he is incompetent and should be removed or he used his position to avoid taxes and he should be removed.
Rangel, true to liberal form, wasted no time in playing the victim in this mess. Rangel wrote a letter to his constituents, those who keep putting this crook in office, explaining that he has done nothing dishonorable and that he has no intention of stepping down from his chairman position, explaining to New Yorkers that he has never “violated the public trust.” I don’t know about anyone else but this seems like things that are dishonorable and violate the public’s trust:
…he didn’t pay taxes on rental income for a beach house in the Dominican Republic; he used three rent-stabilized apartments in Harlem, including one for a campaign office; he used his congressional stationery to drum up private donations to a college center named after him.
Now Rangel’s victim hood comes from his assertion that the Republicans had declared guerrilla war against Democrats and have made every attempt to smear ole Charlie and his fellow Democrats. This is how these deranged idiots think. If they get caught with their hands in the cookie jar then they are victims of an attack and smears but when a Republican gets caught nothing short of a public hanging will satisfy the left.
Charlie Rangel is doing damage control and trying to convince people that he is a victim and deserves to keep his position when in reality he should be booted out the door. We should apply the same standard that was applied to Tom Delay and the other Republicans who have been caught doing something wrong.
Let us keep in mind that Rangel is not the victim of guerrilla warfare. He is the victim of his own criminal acts. He probably assumed that after decades of using public office to get rich he would be immune from scrutiny but it seems that this is not so. If Republicans were responsible for exposing this criminal, good. It is about time they decided to play hardball with the other side’s corruption regardless of how long the left desires to ignore it.
As for Rangel. He was recently very crass when referring to Sarah Palin when he said she was “disabled.” One thing is certain, Rangel might think Palin is disabled but he is just plain stupid.

Liberals Unhinged; Increase Vile Attacks

It has been brewing since Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain’s running mate. What has been brewing is the vile hatred that all liberals harbor for people who are not like them. They treat everyone who does not fall into their line of thinking like second class citizens and this includes people in their own party. Couple their natural nastiness with their desire to right their history of wronging blacks and you come up with some pretty nasty things.
A college professor assigned his students the task of writing something negative about Sarah Palin.
Sandra Bernhard, who some call a comedian, lit into Saracuda in one of her routines saying that Sarah Palin [should] not to come into Manhattan lest she get gang-raped by some of Sandra’s big black brothers.
Now that is true class. I get nasty humor and I can tolerate some of the comedians who use lots of vulgar words and refer to the objects of their attacks in mean spirited ways but something about gang rape jokes just sets wrong with me. Not only does it portray a stereotype of blacks in the hood as how they were seen in the old south but it refers to a violent crime against women. Bernhard is this really ugly woman who looks like she has been at the end of a crack pipe and heroin needle for way too long and her mouth spews nothing but vulgarity. If people want to pay to see that it is their business but I think the gang rape comments are way over the line. Maybe the next time she says it a stage light will fall and crush her. Now that would be comical.
Next up we have Charlie Rangel, tax evading Congressman from New York. When asked why Democrats were afraid of Palin and her popularity he answered that you have to be kind to the disabled.
A United States Congressman called a candidate for the Vice Presidency disabled. Now politics is not for the feint of heart but one would think that Rangel would not make that kind of comment considering Palin has a child with Trisomy 21. It is also astonishing that a member of the party that bills itself as all inclusive would insult the millions of people who are disabled. Rangel’s comments insulted the blind, the deaf, the mentally ill, the mentally retarded, people with countless other maladies and he disrespected and insulted the members of America’s military who are disabled as a result of their service to this country. Since liberalism is a mental disorder, he also insulted a lot of people who vote for his party.
Charlie Rangel should be spending his time trying to figure out how he is going to avoid jail time for evading taxes.
I am willing to bet that Sarah Palin has not used her elected office to get rich and buy investment properties. I am willing to bet that Palin has paid her taxes in full and on time. I am also willing to bet that Palin does not have a taxpayer funded pimp mobile to ride around Harlem (the place Bernhard’s rapist friends reside) and while Rangel was gaming the system and screwing people out of their hard earned money Palin was selling off taxpayer funded luxuries in order to save them money.
Rangel might think Plain is disabled but the Congressman from Harlem is just stupid. If the morons who keep supporting him put him back in office then he can deal with Vice President Palin starting next year.
Liberals are pro choice. Bernhard’s and Rangel’s mothers obviously made the wrong one.
Liberals are unhinged at the selection of Sarah Palin. They are showing their true colors and their hatred for people who do not think like they do. They are hypocrites who are anything but the inclusive and diverse group they claim to be.

More Democratic “Fairness”

Charlie Rangel has introduced a new tax scheme to extort more money from people making what he considers to be rich people money. The tax increase would offset a reduction in the taxes that corporations pay and it would increase the earned income tax credit. Range’s “fair” plan would charge a surtax of 4% on single people earning $150,000 a year and married people with an income of $200,000. That fairness would increase to 4.6% for those fortunate enough t make $500,000 a year.
I know that people in the lower income brackets will like this idea because they benefit from the labor of others. Democrats love to play class warfare and they love to tax the hell out of people, especially those who make a little money. It is not bad enough that people at these income levels have the same bills as everyone else but in addition to paying for their own expenses they will be paying for the expenses of others. This is not fair, no one will ever convince me this is fair and anyone who thinks this is OK is a socialist thief.
The federal government has no business taking money from us to give it to others. I thought our Constitution gave us equal protection under the law. How can it be equal when those who make more pay a higher percent of income?
People who make more money pay more taxes even when taxed at the same rate as others and that is fair. Making people pay a higher percent of income is wrong, immoral, and unethical. This is especially true when one considers lower income earners consume more of the taxpayer funded services.
Charlie Rangel is another tax increasing liberal Democratic moron. Couple him with the moron who runs Maryland and you have two tax raising morons.
I imagine the wealthy in Maryland are really going to love this double whammy. I guess it is time for folks to start trying to figure out how to reduce their taxable income…
