All He Is Saying, Is Give Peas A Chance
Nov 20, 2012 Political
Paul McCartney of Beatle fame has weighed in on an American tradition that has its origins in the pilgrims who left Paul’s homeland to escape religious persecution. Yes ladies and gentlemen, a Brit is weighing in on an American holiday that was started by people who escaped oppressive Brits.
Sir Paul does not want us to eat turkey this Thanksgiving. He wants us to consider cruelty free items on our menu and leave the turkeys to gobble around on farms somewhere.
Paul McCartney, a vegetarian, wants you to give peas a chance.
Here is what I say. If you want to eat turkey, eat turkey. If you don’t want to eat turkey, don’t eat turkey. Furthermore, I promise not to tell you what and what not to eat and you make the same promise to me.
This is the problem with liberals. They don’t like guns then no one can own a gun. They don’t like SUVs then no one can own an SUV. They don’t eat meat then no one can eat meat.
Sir Paul is the typical liberal though we might have to give him a little slack. He is probably suffering from years of drug abuse. Maybe he thinks we are back in the USSR…
As for the turkeys, it sucks for them to be on the lower end of the food chain.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Freedom of Choice
May 24, 2009 Political
I have been posting for a little while now, and I have come across many other opinions, some agreeing with me, and some not so much. Some have been truly vindictive (probably evidence of poor breeding), but this has not, nor will not deter me from presenting my viewpoint as I see it. This is a part of free speech, and also a part of our freedom of choice- we can choose to say something, or abstain from speaking. They are also free to go to another site if they wish. It’s all about the freedom here.
As the days of this “revered leaders” term winds on, the term “Freedom of Choice” will increasingly be under fire from all quarters of the liberal front, as these socialists seek to make us all into “good people”. This would mean, of course, people who blindly agree with their nutjob socialistic thinking.
But to do this, they have to subvert the little roadbump in the road called the Constitution, and they have found ways around this.
A good example is the First Amendment, which details freedom of speech. Well, they can’t get past that one, can they? Oh yes- by two different ways- first is a little innocent thing called “localism”, whereby a radio station could be forced to put on “local” opposing views to counter the talk radio. The trouble with that is, first, the opposing views would not have to pay for their time, so stations would lose money on these “views” (comments from the Commissar, perhaps?). The second problem is that IF these views were popular, they would already BE on the radio. The failure of liberal Air America radio proves there is no market for their drivel.
The second step in the battle over freedom of speech is what is known as “diversity of ownership”- where certain stations would be stripped from the rightful owners, and given, in the name of “diversity”, to others with the politically correct viewpoint. I’m not saying that Barama is Chavez, but he’s looking “Chavez-ish.”
The restrictions on the Second Amendment are, in part, thanks to the comedian Chris Rock who made the suggestion of pricing ammunition at $1,000 a bullet, and so there will be onerous taxes on the ammo- that’s not the only way around the Second Amendment, but mark my words, that is at least one of the ways they will go, because they need the money, their printer is about out of ink.
Green jobs will make us less prosperous, because as a study of the Green industry has shown in Spain, 2.2 jobs are lost for every 1 job created by green technology, and subsidies for companies put many utilities out of business, causing the others who survived to be monopolies and able to charge what they wished, and it was not cheaper for the consumer.
We will have less freedom in our job choices, because the government wants to determine just what THEY determine you are worth. Keep in mind, this is the same people who tout the 7.35 minimum wage as a step forward- Bulls**t! The minimum wage should have been tied to the yearly rise in inflation back in 1970, but nooooooooo. So now the government wants to look at other wages? Might they do as poor a job on these as they did with the minimum wage. One might think so.
Small businesses will not be able to grow as they might in a capitalistic society- many people forget that Bill Gates was a small businessman once. But under Barama, you get just so large, and you will be punished for your success, taxed to within an inch of your life.
Because of the hybrid technology, and the blind refusal to drill off of our coasts, our choices for transportation will be severely restricted to p**spoor electric and wimpy little tinfoil cars that can’t carry a driver, much less a real- life load for work. And of course less choice in auto maker, because only a fool or a Russian buys a government- made car, and I am neither.
There is already less choice on schools- Congress, in its infinite stupidity, cancelled school vouchers for Washington D.C. schools, so Barama’s children, I guess, wouldn’t have to mix with the riff- raff of common people. They will continue this pattern for the rest of the states, and that runs counter to the Tenth Amendment, pertaining to state’s rights, but they’ve done so many end arounds on the Constitution that they probably feel they can do it all.
And finally, there will be less choice in terms of social services and infrastructure, because of B’s onerous taxes, there will have to be less. All the people making or having enough money will find ways around taxation, even if it meant moving somewhere in the Bahamas or Cayman Islands. This puts the burden on the captive people, those who can’t move, and these people will be taxed to the max. Streets, which already look like those in Iraq, will go longer between repaving, but it will all work out, I am sure, because we will not have the money to drive anywhere, nor will we have a car that would be able to navigate the potholes in order to get to a sub-standard school.
We will, however, be able to sit in the car and listen to the local Commissar rant.
It will be SO much fun.

What is the big deal?
May 18, 2009 Political
When Barama spoke at Notre Dame Sunday, he thought he and his prompter could smooth the waters of controversy regarding his horrific stance on abortion. He failed the test of sounding statesman- like, instead coming off as an ambivalent slacker determined to have it both ways.
This is becoming more of a problem for him than he would like. While most young people in the crowd and elsewhere have been obliviopus to the fact that Skinny B and his posse regularly hose them because they can, most people who truly listened to the man could see and hear that he was speaking out of both sides of his teleprompter.
This is a problem for this administration, because according to a Gallup poll, more people identify themselves with the pro- life movement than with the pro- choice.
For the first time since it began asking the question in 1995, Gallup reported Friday, a majority of adults questioned for its annual survey on values and beliefs — 51% — said that when it comes to abortion, they consider themselves “pro-life”; 42% consider themselves “pro-choice.” (The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.) LA Times
My personal take on the situation is that people are beginning to shy away from the personal attacks of ridicule that those who choose life are regularly subjected to by those liberals who favor abortion on demand. Ridicule is a tricky weapon- it can backfire on you if you use it too often, or against a sympathetic figure.
Our country has always loved the underdog, and what could inspire more sympathy than a baby? How someone could favor an abortion over a live baby is beyond me- I attribute this attitude to the fact that we have become a throw- away society. Everything is temporary- homes now have a one year warranty, and it is now expected that if a home lasts twenty years, it has had a full life. Our dishes are throw- away- witness Dixie cups and plates. Our cars- they are built with a “Planned obsolescence” factor built in. No more “Classic” cars for us- they are built to last a general average of ten years, so we will buy new ones.
But babies are different- they SHOULD BE different. To choose taking a life over saving a life at that innocent age is unreasonable, when there are so many people willing and able to adopt. If the reason that you choose to abort is that of convenience- you do not wish to take the time to see this act you chose to perform seen to it’s rightful conclusion, you are a murderer. There is no difference between what you chose to do, and shooting someone who was ahead of you in the line for a burger- he was inconvenient, and was keeping you from your burger. No difference- wait, there is one- the guy in line ahead of you might have been able to defend himself, the baby never will.
All people who wish to diminish the importance of life do so by referring to the baby as a “fetus”, and yes, that is the technical name for a baby still in the womb, but what do you raging Liberals call him when you have dragged his lifeless body from the protection of his mother’s womb? Do you then call him a baby, because now that he is out from the womb, that is what he is. Oh yes, he is one other thing- he is now dead.
I understand the choices teens and others have to make. My daughter had to make the same decision years ago, and she chose life with adoption, and I have never been prouder- it was her choice, and while we did not approve of abortion, we gave her the information and she made up her own mind. This was not easy for either my wife, or me, but I know the choices my daughter faced were even more difficult for her.
Today however, a couple now has a happy, healthy, getting into everything boy that they would not have had without my daughter’s choice, and while, as I said before, I do not like Roe v. Wade, it is law- I just pray that abortion is the last choice people consider.
Our children deserve more than to be treated as if they were Dixie Cups.

I Am Woman, Hear Me Not
May 3, 2009 Political
The silence was deafening, the sound of one hand clapping, as Miss California gave the reply heard around the blogosphere to the question posed by that nobody with a notorious name, Perez Hilton.
Miss California was asked how she felt about Gay marriage, and she gave an honest reply. The trouble is, it was not a politically correct reply. Her reply was that she thought that marriage was between a man and a woman, which was how she had been raised, but it hit a sour note with the woman hating Hilton, who, I am guessing, is gay. Now, he/ she can be a hater all he/ she wants, but Hiltie was a judge in this contest, and says in his/ her videoblog, that that answer is what cost Miss Prejean the crown for Miss America.
It really is such a shame that someone is punished in this country for free and frank (that means Honest, Pervez) speech. Free speech is something you do not have to like, but you DO have to respect, if you want this country to remain a great country.
Now Hilton is free to hate what she said, but as a judge, he shouldn’t have used his/? judgeship as a cudgel against Miss California. Still, this continues a pattern of sexual abuse and verbal battery of women who are not liberals. I was surprised, but only mildly, that none of the women’s groups that seemingly espouse feminine causes said ANYTHING- not one thing.
Indeed, the Miss America officials attempted to have Miss California recant, or at least “dress Up” her remarks, much like Joe Biden has to “clarify” his remarks. There’s a world of difference here, however- Joey misspeaks chronically, while Miss California knew what she was saying, and said it concisely.
Miss California is not the first woman who Womens Groups have hung out to dry, forsaking their false call of “Sisterhood”, for the hypocritical one of “Liberal Sister”- no, Sarah Palin should have been embraced by at least one of these groups. You might think these groups, which lie when they say they are all about the freedom of speech, and “those other pesky rights, (except the one with guns)”, might have at least said that while they do not agree with Governor Palin’s stance on many issues, they welcome the fact that women have come so far that they feel comfortable cursing her as she runs for national office.
These alleged women could not even have the good grace to do that. Instead, they go after Gov. Palin’s daughter, because she committed the unpardonable sin of becoming a pregnant Republican. Just because the parent preaches abstinence, does not ensure that the child will listen. But did these nurturing women forgive Bristol, and give her moral support in her time of need? Did they rally around the flagpole of a shared heritage? Oh hell no- despite the fact that Bristol made a choice, it was not the choice that these women wanted- they wanted, I guess, the blood of a dead baby, probably to sacrifice on the altars of sisterhood. The witches in Macbeth have nothing on these creatures.
This, of course, is the feminist version of their contribution to stifling free speech- if they do not agree with you and the comments you make, you will hear the unearthly screech of the Harpy Platoon descending to verbally rip you to pieces, probably along with the Gay (but not happy) Air Force, and,of course, abetted by every other civilization- splitting minority that feels a grudge coming on, just because you might have an independent thought.
Here’s a revolutionary thought, ladies and ?s- you do not have to like everything I say, but neither do I have to say everything you want to hear. THAT is what is truly free speech- get used to it, because I have run flat out of tact and diplomacy, and from now on, I WILL call a skank a skank. And, Wow-
You sure are unpleasant people.
