Where is the Condemnation for Torture of Brits?
Apr 6, 2007 Uncategorized
We all saw the pictures more times than was necessary as blow-hards like Ted Kennedy flashed them every time a camera was near. Some poor slob was naked, had a dog barking at him, was kept in the cold or hear, or couldn’t get sleep. Let’s not forget the electrical wires attached to another poor slob. All these things elicited outrage from the world and Kennedy opined that the torture chambers had opened under new management. How dare we treat these honorable terrorists this way?
Where are all the groups that complained about Abu Ghraib now? Where are Code Pink, ANSWER, the ACLU, Amnesty International and all the other pinko groups that cried about this? Where are they now that we know the 15 Brits who were taken hostage by Iran were really tortured. Where are the MSM news casters and their holier than thou attitudes now that we know the Brits faced a mock execution, and faced other treatment that was described as torture by those who were held captive?
They are all no where to be found just as they were when American soldiers were captured and tortured, having their hearts cut out and their genitals cut off and shoved in their mouths. We can not find them because they sympathize with the evil bastards who do these things. There has been no UN condemnation for Iran illegally entering Iraqi waters and taking warriors hostage, an act of war. We have plenty of enemies around the world and that we can understand. What I have trouble with are those within our borders who take every opportunity to point out each time a soldier farts near a Muslim but refuse to report on and condemn the acts of brutality and inhumanity exhibited by the animals of Islam.
Where were those terrorists from CAIR? How come they did not immediately come out and demand that the Brits be released. They have been very vocal about getting their terrorist brothers at Gitmo released and you can bet if Briton entered Iranian waters and took Iranian military members hostage CAIR would be all over it like Rosie on a pizza. They have remained silent because they agree with that kind of behavior and they do not care what happens to non-Muslims.
Now that Iran has released the Brits (I believe in part because another American Carrier Group is heading there) the UK needs to decide what kind of punishment Iran deserves. The UK needs to start by taking all the evidence to the UN and demand that Iran be sanctioned in some fashion. That will not happen but then it gives the Brits the ability to say they tried it the French way (not that I think they have to). Then the UK should mount an air assault on Tehran. They should send a bunch of bombers in during the night and target every government and military building in Tehran. This will help them to destroy every facility that the hostages might have been held in. They need to have about 10 or so passes over Tehran and level all those buildings. Then they need to send a letter to Ahmadinejad and thank him for his hospitality.
I would close the letter with “Do you want to screw with us again?”

Is Global Warming Man Made?
Apr 4, 2007 Uncategorized
There is no doubt the temperature of the Earth is getting a little warmer just as it has, in cycles, for millions of years. The Earth warmed up during periods of time when its inhabitants were not using fossil fuels and yet, Al Gore and his minions would have us believe that the latest cycle in the weather is man made and something we need to spend untold billions of dollars on. There is no evidence that global warming is caused by man and the so called scientists who espouse these theories depend on global warming research money to pay their bills. There are those who believe that the warming we are seeing is caused by activity on the Sun as well as the normal cyclic pattern of the planet. The question I have is, if man causes global warming how do they explain the warming on Mars?
Global warming could be heating Mars four times faster than Earth due to a mutually reinforcing interplay of wind-swept dust and changes in reflected heat from the Sun, according to a study released Wednesday.
Scientists have long observed a correlation on Mars between its fluctuating temperatures — which range from -87 C to – 5 C (-125 F to 23 F) depending on the season and the location — and the darkening or lightening of swathes of the planet’s surface.
The explanation is in the dirt.
Glistening Martian dust lying on the ground reflects the Sun’s light — and its heat — back into space, a phenomenon called albedo. Breitbart
Now, if global warming is happening on Mars how can we possibly discount the idea that global warming is not man made? There is no life that we know of on Mars and there certainly is no life we would classify as “man” so how exactly is it getting warmer there? I know that the greenies would like to blame global warming on man but it takes a huge ego to think that man on this planet is affecting the temperature of another planet that is around 47 million miles away at its closest point. No, something else must be causing Mars to get warmer because there are no living beings using fossil fuels on that terrestrial body. If it is getting warmer in the absence of what we would call man then something else is causing it and if something besides man is causing it there then something besides man can be causing it here.
The fact is man is easy to blame for these problems but in reality there are many things in play, the most likely of which is cyclic weather patterns (probably influenced by solar activity). The inconvenient truth is that people stand to make a lot of money by playing Chicken Little. Gore and his energy offset company, the government in its increasingly restrictive taxes and fines to coerce compliance, and the many companies that will jump on the GW bandwagon in order to turn a profit selling paper plates recycled from toilet paper.
The GW believers have accepted the idea as fact and the rest of us are called deniers. I want one of the enlightened to explain away that which has been described above. I want Al Gore to explain to me how man is causing GW on Mars and if he is not then I want him to admit that it is possible (and likely) that man is not causing it here.
I bet you I won’t get much response and the GW crowd will ignore the logic completely.

Peaceful Students Attack Rove
Apr 4, 2007 Uncategorized
White House Adviser Karl Rove was at American University to speak with College Republicans. When he left a group of disorderly students threw things at his car and some laid down in front of it preventing him from driving off. This seems to be the normal course for liberal college students. They decry war and violence and then they attack (and assault) people and break the law. How many times have we read about these kinds of things? Ann Coulter is constantly attacked and military recruiters take their lives in their hands each time they visit a campus full of liberal cowards.
I am no celebrity and I do not get asked to speak nearly as many times as these other folks do so I will not have to worry about this but I just want to make one thing clear. If a group of protesters ever lies down in front of my vehicle to block me I am going to drive over them and then back up to make sure I got it right. How ironic would it be for one of those idiots to get squished by an SUV? If you are throwing things at the car it means you intend to harm someone and if you lie down in the street it means you want to get run over.
Rove did not run over the punks and they were eventually pulled out of the way by police. Seems to me that these idiots laid down in front of the car trusting that Rove was decent enough not to run over them. They sure placed a lot of trust in the humanity of a man that they call evil and felt compelled to attack. I would not be so humane…
The sad part, no one was arrested.

FAA Averts Aircraft Terror Cells
Apr 3, 2007 Uncategorized
I am a frequent traveler and have the “pleasure of flying” all over the country. It is not the most pleasant experience in the world with the strip searches and intrusions. While I agree that security is necessary one would think a retired soldier with a military ID card would not be put through the ringer while people who fit the profile of a terrorist waltz through the check point. Those things are certainly bad enough but I can tolerate them because once I am in, the guy who waltzed in will meet Allah real quick like if he tries anything stupid. What irritates me is having to deal with people. People are ignorant. They bring over sized luggage into the cabin, they yammer on cell phones when they should be taking a seat and they invariably take up more room than they paid for. I am eternally grateful every time the flight attendant says that all cell phones must be turned off because I will not have to listen to 50 conversations being held by people who talk as if they are using two tin cans and a string. I was really not thrilled with the idea that the FAA was considering allowing in-flight cell phone use. Well, my worries are over:
WASHINGTON (AP) – The Federal Communications Commission has officially grounded the idea of allowing airline passengers to use cellular telephones while in flight.
Existing rules require cellular phones to be turned off once an aircraft leaves the ground in order to avoid interfering with cellular network systems on the ground. The agency began examining the issue in December 2004.
Federal Aviation Administration regulations also restrict the use of cellular phones and other portable electronic devices onboard aircraft to ensure against interference with the aircraft’s navigation and communication systems.
In an order released Tuesday, the FCC noted that there was “insufficient technical information” available on whether airborne cell phone calls would jam networks on the ground. Breitbart
This is a true blessing. People are ignorant enough when using cell phones. The way they act one would think that the world will end if they do not have the damned thing shoved in their ear. I have had to tolerate people chatting in the aisle while boarding and holding up the whole process. Of course, there is one lady who will never be my friend. The Dog explained, in no uncertain terms, exactly what she needed to do so we could get airborne. I have heard more business conversations and learned more about projects than I care to. I also remember being in line waiting to go through the security checkpoint while some jackass yammered on his phone. He was using phrases like “I didn’t think he was going to make it” and “He pulled through in the end.” At first I shrugged it off figuring that someone dear to him must have had a bad ordeal. Then he says to the person on the other end that it was the best NASCAR race he had ever seen. After being delayed by this idiot I wanted to smack him back into reality.
Thank God they decided that cell phones were not allowed. You want to talk about air rage? I imagine there are a lot of people like me who would not like being forced to listen to inane people discuss worthless topics while acting like the world is marching to their tune. These are the same idiots who, as soon as the wheels touch ground, are turning their phones back on and checking messages and making calls as if the world stopped spinning while they were in the air.
I have a cell phone but I realize that it is a convenience and the world will not end if I don’t check a voice mail or make a call the minute a plane touches down.
Three cheers to the FAA. They might have this whole security thing out of kilter but they got the cell phone part right. If they had locked me in a plane with people yammering on cells they might have had to lock me in a cell when we landed. That is one terror scenario that I am glad I will not have to deal with.

What Part of Illegal Don’t They Understand?
Apr 2, 2007 Uncategorized
Julia Vitullo-Martin of the WSJ Opinion Journal has a piece out (from Friday) that describes how immigrants have helped American cities revitalize. This should come as no surprise to those who read the OJ because they are basically a group of people who espouse open borders. The piece focuses on the town of Hazleton and its recent attempts to get rid of Illegals. Martin starts out describing the situation and mentions illegals and she talks about how 10,000 undocumented immigrants put Hazleton in the black and revitalized the city. I gues the high crime is the price to pay for economic safety. Of course, her piece does not mention how many LEGAL immigrants are in Hazleton and she does not explore any other reason for the turn around.
Be that as it may, I find it hard to believe that anyone would sanction the invasion of America by ILLEGALS for the sake of revitalizing cities many of which have been abandoned by middle class whites and blacks alike because those very cities became dangerous places to live. I listened to Martin on the Ron Smith radio show on WBAL in Baltimore and after the initial discussion the word illegal was not used again. I don’t think there are many among us who would dispute the contribution that immigrants have made in this country, hell all of us originated from immigrants, but the fact is illegal is illegal.
I welcome those who come here legally with open arms and I know that most of them will contribute to this society. The problem is, illegals show up and they work under the table, they suck up resources without paying for them, and with them comes a huge increase in crime. I could tell from the interview that Martin is enamored with illegals (though she just calls them immigrants) and that she thinks we should be praising them for revitalizing our cities. Sure, I am going to praise people for coming in and making the cities densely populated conclaves of people who vote for the Democratic Party so they [the illegals] can enjoy more off the back of the taxpayer.
If we want cities revitalized why don’t we ensure that there is a reasonable process by which people get to come here in a legal status. Then those people could populate the cities and pay taxes like the rest of us. They are generally hard working and those who come here the right way care enough to make a difference and to try to better their lives. This whole idea that we should be bowing down to those who sneak in here in the middle of the night is a bunch of mindless prattle. We should be throwing them in jail, or better yet, we can put them in labor camps building a 2000 mile wall on our southern border.
I really wonder how it is that people can ignore the whole illegal part of this. If I robbed a bank in order to make my life better but I used some of the money to revitalize a youth center in the city, do you suppose the government, or Ms. Martin, would excuse my behavior? I wonder how Martin would feel if she arrived at her home today and a family of illegals had broken in and made themselves at home. How would she feel if they ate her food, spent her money and then went to the doctor and had the bill sent to her? Do you suppose she would excuse this behavior if she saw that they painted the place and did her landscaping? More likely she would call the police faster than Rosie can down a triple cheese pizza.
The problem with the illegal immigration debate is that there are many who want them here. This is particularly true of Democrats who view them as votes and the quest for power will always trump sovereignty in the mind of a Democrat. We need to ensure that those who are supposed to be here are welcomed and we need to ensure that those who are not are given a swift boot in the ass and sent on their way back home.
If America does not wake up soon we will be the only country in history to be invaded and conquered without a shot being fired. When that happens you can thank people like Martin who sugar coat the issues and ignore the real problems.
