Democrat Politicians Bully TEA Party In Richmond
Nov 29, 2011 Political
The Occupy crowd in Richmond has been there sucking up resources and causing trouble. The group has not paid for permits and the city has provided extra police, portable toilets, and trash clean up for these people. In other words, taxpayers have had to foot the bill for them.
The TEA Party in the area has paid about $10,000 for three events that it held. It paid for its own toilets, the extra police and it cleaned up its own trash. In other words, the taxpayer did not foot the bill.
That TEA Party group sent a bill to the city of Richmond claiming that the city owed them the money because the Occupy folks did not have to pay. The TEA Party was demanding a refund because it should not have to pay for the things that the Occupy crowd does not pay for.
Instead of the city rectifying this situation it has done what governments do when challenged, it issued a threat. The city has notified the TEA Party that it is being audited and that it needs to provide information or the auditor will pick an arbitrary number (they claim it is based on the best information available) and taxes will be levied based on that.
The TEA Party has provided all necessary paperwork every month as required by law and the numbers have always been zero, zilch, nada. It is obvious that the audit is a retaliatory action because the TEA Party dared to demand that it be treated equally under the law.
No worries though. The TEA Party is filing an FOIA request for everything dealing with the issue so there might be some embarrassing disclosures of how this was done as a political move. The ACLU is involved and though I rarely agree with that organization I can commend them on getting involved in an issue that is against a bunch of liberals and not in favor of them.
The city of Richmond is full of corrupt Democrats who belong in jail. Perhaps this effort will land some of them there.
At the least let us hope it shows the voters how crooked these people are and how they are wasting tax dollars. Perhaps this will inspire the voters to throw these cretins out of office.
It seems to me that the Chicago Way is alive and well. It also seems that one day real soon these politicians are going to get pushback they won’t like.

The “I Know Nothing” Regime
Sep 20, 2011 Political
The Obama Regime has a bunch of know nothings in it. I don’t mean they are not educated or that they are not smart people (just not as smart as they or their worshippers think), I mean they conveniently know nothing when scandal hits. Since scandal, wrongdoing and corruption hits each and every day, there are a lot of people who suddenly “know nothing.”
The Chicago Tribune has an article about the growing green energy scandal where Obama and his regime doled out a half a billion dollars to Solyndra as a good investment in green energy (a loan the Bush administration decided against because it was too risky) only to watch as the company went bankrupt and billions in taxpayer dollars were whizzed down the drain. The Trib calls this nothing more than the Chicago Way, something they are used to in Obama’s stomping grounds.
The cover up begins as Obama and those in his regime try to counter claims of political favor for people who contributed to little Barry. There will be investigations as communications are uncovered daily. These show that Obama and his people worked to streamline the process while ignoring all the warnings. The major concern was not over whether taxpayer dollars would be wasted (they were) but that it would hit during the 2012 campaign and damage Obama.
Rahm Emanuel, former Obama chief of staff and part of the Chicago political machine, says he does not remember anything about Solyndra. Yep, twinkle toes Emanuel is claiming that he can’t remember anything about the shady deal involving the company that went belly up costing taxpayers half a billion dollars.
The guy who remembers all political infractions and wages war against opponents based on his long memory now can’t recall a single thing about Solyndra. Funny, there are emails from his assistants regarding the issue. How is it that Rahm can’t remember?
Please liberals don’t tell me that the assistants did this without his knowledge. If that is the case he should have never been in a leadership position and he should not be the mayor of Chicago.
This is nothing more than Emanuel distancing himself from a scandal he was involved in. He did that with the Blagojevich pay to play scandal that involved Obama’s vacated US Senate seat. Emanuel was involved in that just as he is involved in the Solyndra scandal but he claims he can’t remember anything.
That is the typical Chicago political response:
“I know nothing!” SGT Schultz would be proud.

Useless Government
Feb 1, 2011 Political
Yet another example showing how utterly and completely useless government has become. Seriously. Stories like this one just make me support massive, massive reductions in government — especially on the enforcement side.
This is the story about the Piano that was found on a sandbar in the Florida Keys. A student put it there as part of an art project. There’s nothing more to the story. A kid put a piano on some sand for an art project. The piano was eventually claimed by someone else, which is perfectly okay, the one who put it there doesn’t seem to mind. A day after the piano disappeared, another prankster put a table and chairs on the sandbar.
So, what should we “DO” about this? Of course, in a normal, rational world, we would sit back, maybe laugh, maybe critique the art, maybe complain about people with too much time on their hands. You see, no one has been hurt. No one has been threatened. Many people are smiling. So, in a free country, this would be news, and when the pranksters got tired, there would be no more news.
But that’s not the response of the government in America today. No, today’s government sees numerous serious crimes that have occurred. This government wants people fined and jailed for these horrible crimes. We have “environmental officials” making statements, “fearing” that other people might do something evil: place other things on the sand bar. We have “authorities” removing the table and chairs to make sure no one else is “influenced” by these heinous acts. We have the “Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission” threatening people with arrest for going near the sandbar. State wildlife officials have threatened the art student with fines and jailing.
What a damn load of crap. Every single one of these “officials” is a fool. They should all be fired and forced to find something productive to do, instead of giving them the power to jail people. No, it doesn’t make one bit of difference that they’re “just enforcing the law” or “just doing their job.” That’s total crap. They’re petty dictators with way too much power and they’re fools, plain and simple. And yes, I’d certainly tell that to them to their faces.

Man Arrested for Possession of Firecrackers
Jan 30, 2011 Political
Well, that could very well be the title of this article. But that wouldn’t be nearly as exciting, nor as inflammatory, so it isn’t. Instead, to help sell news and to attempt to divide people more, the article screams, “Man with Explosives” and “Outside Mosque.” That way it sounds really bad and can be used as evidence of hatred towards a protected, special class of people.
In reality, a man had some M-80s. For those who are too young to remember, these are inch and a half-long firecrackers. When they explode, they make a loud noise and flash. About the only way they can really do any serious damage is if you are holding them when they go off. They are just big firecrackers.
And the guy was arrested with some.
Oh, but wait! The guy has “a long history of anti-government activities,” according to the police. In other words, this guy was an enemy of the government, and government wanted him jailed, so they found a reason to jail him.
It is highly unlikely we will ever know why the man was at the Islamic center, as the press and the government isn’t big on telling the truth. But hey, it is Dearborn, Michigan, so I expect he may be charged with violations of Sharia law before this is all over.

The Saga Of Rahm
Jan 26, 2011 Political
Rahm Emanuel is trying to become the Mayor of Chicago so that he can take the place of the retiring thug who is cashing out. One thug will replace another in the nation’s most corrupt city. There is one sticking point and that is, is Emanuel eligible to run?
There are two interpretations of the statute and though I agree with the interpretation that he had to reside in the city for the year prior, there are others who disagree. The court made a compelling argument for the “you must physically live here” interpretation because it is defined separately from the residency requirements of voters.
The statute allows exceptions but it would appear as if Emanuel does not fit into one of the categories, at least as far as the court is concerned.
I am indifferent because I do not live in Chicago. I think that if the law’s definition of residency means you can be out of the state and still be eligible then Emanuel certainly should be allowed to run. He pays taxes there and he votes there so if this is the intent of the law then he has every right to run.
If the meaning of the law is that he had to actually be living there in order to run then he should not be allowed to. It appears as if this was the intent since the rules for voting and the rules for running are spelled out separately and it appears as if the words “reside in” mean that he had to be living there. This is different than having residency.
Many military members maintain their state residency when away serving but they are not residing in the state. States want you to remain a resident so they can tax you while you are away. Be that as it may, there is a difference between residency status and residing in. If you travel overseas you are still a citizen (resident) of the US but you are not residing in the US.
And I think that is the interpretation that the court applied because those terms appear to be spelled out that way.
However, this will ultimately be settled by the courts and if they decide that Emanuel meets the residing in definition then he should be allowed to run.
Of course, this is Chicago and it is likely that Emanuel will be allowed to run even if there is a hundred pages of notes attached to the law saying that he had to actually live there.
As I said, I have no dog in this race. Even though I don’t care for the guy I think that if he meets the criteria then he should be allowed to run.
I also think if they decide he does not then he should not be allowed to run.
And that means he does not get special favors because he is Obama’s buddy or because the people like him.
Then again, who am I kidding. This is Chicago…
