Obama Wants Courage, Pelosi Gives Cowardice

Barack Obama is out on the campaign trail community organizing support for his health care takeover because he does not have the votes to get it passed. He will be interviewed on FOX News tonight because FOX has the largest audience, the biggest number of people opposed, and because Obama’s health care takeover is on the ropes.
While Obama was trotting out sob stories and telling half truths about the medical situations of those he exploited, he called for courage. He wants the Democrats to have the courage to vote for his plan even though it will severely hamper the ability of many of them to get reelected. Courage is what the man wants.
But cowardice is what he gets. The Democrats do not have the courage of their convictions and do not want their names attached to the vote. Nancy Pelosi is considering using a procedure that will cover Democrats and allow them to claim they did not vote for the bill.
The tactic — known as a “self-executing rule” or a “deem and pass” — has been commonly used, although never to pass legislation as momentous as the $875 billion health-care bill. It is one of three options that Pelosi said she is considering for a late-week House vote, but she added that she prefers it because it would politically protect lawmakers who are reluctant to publicly support the measure. She likes the procedure (which is likely unconstitutional) because it provides protection for Democrats reluctant to vote for the Senate Bill. This is nothing but cowardice.
While Obama is out calling for courage his Democrats are hiding behind Pelosi’s skirt because they are a bunch of thumb-sucking pansies who do not have enough of a spine to stand up for what they believe in.
If the bill is so wonderful and does so many great things then why do they need cover? If this is the panacea that will solve our health care problems then why are they not proudly standing up and voting for it?
They are not voting for it because they know it is a crap sandwich that Obama wants them all to take a bite from.
Arms are being twisted, deals are being cut, and members of Congress are being embarrassed into doing what Obama wants them to do but what the majority of Americans do not.
Despite the rationalization by some, these Democrats are in trouble. At least 35 of them are in districts that were easily won by Republican presidential candidates and it is unlikely that those districts will put them back in office if they vote for this.
A year ago I figured that Republicans would gain seats in the midterm election because that is the historical trend. I never thought they could take back the House but now I am convinced that Republicans will win enough seats to gain the majority.
Of course things can change in eight months but if the elections were held today the Republicans would have control of the House.
Health care is the straw that broke the camel’s back. Pass or fail, a lot of Democrats will get flushed because of it and their blind loyalty to a community organizer who is hell bent on destroying this country.

Come on, all you liberals out there, you know you want to do it- you are spineless, and can’t stand the fact that your spineless leader is being questioned at every turn, because every turn is a new foray into socialist collective behavior and group- think.
Your Clown- in Chief wants to “Fundamentally Change America”- his own words, repeated ad nauseum during the campaign, and I have to admit, although those words gave me a chill when I heard them, even I had no idea how much he hated America as it was, nor just how much he wanted to change our country.
Now we can begin to see the outlines of his agenda, and it is anti- American, plain and simple. That is just a fact. There is nothing that he has either done, is doing, or plans to do that is compatible with anything Americans need to have done.
The stimulus was and is a failure- it has brought no jobs, and only stimulated the egos and jobs of those over at Treasury, cash for clunkers did nothing more than help put even more people in debt at a time when we need to be digging ourselves out of debt.
Cap and Trade is a shell game that benefits no consumer, and has some truly scary provisions in it that are punitive. Since “Climate Change” is a far from settled subject, we should not, at this time, be doing as much as this bill decrees, nor the way it goes about it.
More than 60 prominent German scientists have publicly declared their dissent from man-made global warming fears in an Open Letter to German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The more than 60 signers of the letter include several United Nations IPCC scientists.
The scientists declared that global warming has become a “pseudo religion” and they noted that rising CO2 has “had no measurable effect” on temperatures. The German scientists, also wrote that the “UN IPCC has lost its scientific credibility.”
This latest development comes on the heels of a series of inconvenient developments for the promoters of man-made global warming fears, including new peer-reviewed studies, real world data, a growing chorus of scientists dissenting (includingmore UN IPCC scientists), open revolts in scientific societies and the Earth’s failure to warm. In addition, public opinion continues to turn against climate fear promotion.
The July 26, 2009 German scientist letter urged Chancellor Merkel to “strongly reconsider” her position on global warming and requested a “convening of an impartial panel” that is “free of ideology” to counter the UN IPCC and review the latest climate science developments.
The scientists, from many disciplines, including physicists, meteorology, chemistry, and geology, explain that “humans have had no measurable effect on global warming through CO2 emissions. Instead the temperature fluctuations have been within normal ranges and are due to natural cycles.”
“More importantly, there’s a growing body of evidence showing anthropogenic CO2 plays no measurable role,” the scientists wrote. “Indeed CO2’s capability to absorb radiation is almost exhausted by today’s atmospheric concentrations. If CO2 did indeed have an effect and all fossil fuels were burned, then additional warming over the long term would in fact remain limited to only a few tenths of a degree,” they added.
“The IPCC had to have been aware of this fact, but completely ignored it during its studies of 160 years of temperature measurements and 150 years of determined CO2 levels. As a result the IPCC has lost its scientific credibility,” the scientists wrote.
“Indeed the atmosphere has not warmed since 1998 – more than 10 years, and the global temperature has even dropped significantly since 2003. Not one of the many extremely expensive climate models predicted this. According to the IPCC, it was supposed to have gotten steadily warmer, but just the opposite has occurred,” the scientists wrote.

And now we come to the Healthcare, or Obamacare- whatever you choose to call this ill- conceived, socialistic, “soylent green” type of care that makes a mockery of our medical system. You lawmakers will not even read the bills- that is an incredibly irresponsible thing to do, or not do , in this case. Reading the bills is your job.
If you won’t read the bill, get off of the Hill. You have no business being there, because you are not representing your constituents, if indeed you ever were.
So here’s the deal, all you Liberal Socialist weak- minded people. If you feel like snitching on me, know this- I have already told them at the “Snitch Czar’s” office who I am, and my objections to them , so it would be redundant to turn me in again, but feel free- I will continue to exercise my first amendment rights as long as we continue to have a first amendment (which might not be long, the way this is going).
In the meantime, perhaps I will see you at the town hall meetings, if you libtards have the guts to show up, and not cancel, as so many of your “courageous leaders” have done so far. Being afraid to answer the tough questions is definitely not “Profiles in Courage”.
But then it has been awhile since your side has had anyone with courage.

Dem Congressman; Obama Lacks Courage

There is an old song that has the lines: “I get by with a little help from my friends, I get high with a little help from my friends.” While both lines apply to Barack Obama we will save the second for another day and concentrate on the first. Barry has a lot of questionable friends, some of whom he has thrown under the bus. His relationships have not been investigated by the media while it remains busy trying to find out if Sarah Palin belonged to a group that wanted her state to leave the Union (she did not) or how much her clothes cost. But one of Obama’s relationships has been brought back out and by none other than an Obama supporter.
Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs reports on, and has a video of, Congressman Jerrold Nadler saying that the reason Barack Obama sat in Reverend Wright’s church for 20 years is because he [Obama] did not have the political courage to make a statement by getting up and walking out.”
I just came from an Jerrold Nadler event at the Boca Raton synagogue where he was lying through his teeth to make the case that Obama was good for Israel.
Words uttered today by Obama surrogate, high profile congressman (8th district New York) are devastating to Obama’s character and lack of spine.
Nadler would love to take back words uttered today at 4:45 in Boca Raton (the mouth of the rat)
Nadler is asked how Obama could sit in Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s church for 500 Sundays listing to the anti-semitic, anti-American diatribes“This is not going to be complimentary to Senator Obama ….. he didn’t have the political courage to make a statement and walk out.”
I have much more ………….. but I had to get this up. I have much devastating video including Nadler professing that if “that there really were phone banks in Gaza, that would be a major campaign issue”. He sid it would be all over the media and be a major problem for the campaign. And laughed at the idea of the Gaza campaign contributions – a story Atlas broke in July. It was politically expedient for Obama to sit there and listen to that hatred being preached. But I will go one further. Obama did not get up and walk out because he believes what was being preached. The only way I can rationalize Obama staying is that he believed what was being preached. You see, he might not have had enough courage to get up and walk out but in order for him to take his family with him all those many trips then he must have agreed with the words being spoken.
And what were those words? Glad you asked.
This hatred spewing man was described in most affectionate terms by Obama. The rest of his radical friends have gone into hiding or have not been pursued by the media. This one we know because Obama spent 20 years agreeing with him and his “blame the whites” for all ills preaching.
I guess it should come as no surprise though. As Obama wrote in his book, “That’s just how white folks will do ya.”
Especially here in the US of KKKA…
