Here Is Your Compromise Mr. Obama, We Won
Jul 26, 2011 Political
To Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm) it is like November 2010 never happened. Obama took to the airwaves last evening to push his case for raising taxes on Americans in order to pay for the out of control spending that he is now known for. Obama warned that if his bluff was called he would take his message to the people and he did. Fine but he said nothing that amounts to anything.
The first thing he did was blame George W. Bush for the problems we have. The reality, according to then Senator Obama, is that there is a problem because of lack of leadership, and that is Barry’s leadership and not Bush’s who has been out of office for over two years. Remember, it was Obama who said asking to raise the debt limit was a sign of failed leadership.
So after Obama blames Bush he goes on an over 4000 word rant about the situation we are in (that he and the Democrats have put us in) and he said that we need to raise taxes on the rich (defined as those making over $200,000 a year who Obama called millionaires) because they need to pay their fair share. The rich pay almost all the income taxes in this country, period. But Obama wants them to pay their fair share.
Fair to liberals is when you bring a pie to a party, they cut the pie so that they get almost all of it and you get a little sliver. Then they demand you buy another pie for them because you are able to, they deserve it and they have the right to tell you how to spend your money.
Anyway, Obama blamed all of the problems on the Republicans and said they would not compromise. That means they will not raise taxes. Yep, Obama tried to divide and conquer by saying that some Republicans (like Speaker Boehner) want to compromise but the freshmen (read Tea Party backed members) would not go along. He is trying to undermine Boehner and cause fractures among the Republicans.
But that won’t work.
I think I can sum this up and do so by using Obama’s own words. Obama is dismissing the November elections and driving on as if they had never happened. He is asking for compromise and saying that he wants certain things done. He wants a say in the matter.
When Obama first took office and Republicans were in a meeting with him they expressed some of the things they wanted to do and he basically told them that what they wanted did not matter because, “I won.” Obama believed that he got to do things his way because he won the election and that the Republicans or their opinions did not matter.
Fine, but Mr. Obama, last November the Republicans won. They have a very large majority in the House and they have an agenda. They were put in office to hold down spending and cut taxes. They were not put in office to compromise with failed liberal ideology.
In other words Mr. Obama, THEY WON.
They won so they get to do things their way.
That is the standard you set for dealing with compromise.
So deal with it.

The Stimulus That Didn’t Stimulate
Jul 5, 2011 Political
A new report from Barack Obama’s own Council of Economic Advisors shows that the stimulus failed to stimulate, that each job created or “saved” cost taxpayers $278,000, and that we would have been better off without the stimulus.
What a surprise? The Stimulus was a failure, just as I had said it would be. To spend 278 thousand dollars per job created or allegedly saved is absolutely criminal. To top it off, the trend of adding jobs appears to be going in the wrong direction. The Stimulus failed to stimulate and now it is having a harmful effect on the economy. Interpretation of the report indicates that we would have done better without the Stimulus.
Perhaps this is because the Stimulus was not meant to actually stimulate. The report they wrote says it was and Obama and his toadies said it was but the reality of the situation is that a lot of taxpayer money, money we do not have, was appropriated for the sole purpose of paying off Democrat constituencies. The labor unions, the Obama supporters, the Democrat controlled cities that can’t make it on their own, all took our money as part of a huge payoff and redistribution scheme.
All sides agree on these incriminating numbers — and now they also appear to agree on this important point: The economy would now be generating job growth at a faster rate if the Democrats hadn’t passed the “stimulus.” Weekly Standard
Debbie Wasserman Schultz said the Democrats own the economy and she is absolutely correct. The Democrats took a bad situation (caused mostly by their failed policies) and made it much worse. We have hit rock bottom and are now starting to dig.
This is what happens when we elect a man with NO experience whatsoever. Never had a productive job, never had to make payroll and lived his life off the taxpayer. He got taxpayer money for his education, for his community rabble rousing and for his jobs in politics. Oh sure, he received money through graft and corruption as well as the books he wrote about his life (as if he actually had anything to write about) but he never ran anything meaningful.
He was and remains out of his league and he continues to drive us further toward government control of everything.
He is well on his way with the failed Stimulus and the 5 TRILLION dollars of debt he has accumulated.
It is more meaningful when his own people point it out.
Maybe they want to avoid the pitchforks and torches…

Where Is Dr. Obama’s Scalpel?
Jun 26, 2011 Opinion
Barack Obama told us that John McCain wanted to take an ax to the budget and that he, Barack the Magnificent, would take a scalpel and he would go line by line in the federal budget to make cuts. Two and a half years into his first (and hopefully only) term and Obama has failed to do much cutting.
The first thing he did was raise things about 25% and then pretend that he was making cuts by backing off that number making it appear as if he cut when he was well ahead of what was taking place when he took office. In his time in office the deficit each year has been in the trillions of dollars and there is no end in sight as Democrats work hard to spend more and more to satisfy their need to continue to spend.
Democrats gain constituencies by promising free stuff which is only free to the people getting it. The rest of us must pay the bills for the free stuff Democrats give away. The Stimulus was nothing more than a nearly trillion dollar slush fund to pay off Democrat constituencies. We are in bad shape and things are continuing to decline as the so called experts act surprised at the news each month that is always “unexpected”. Perhaps if the economic news continues to be unexpected and the experts can’t understand what is going on then it is time to find real experts who know what they are doing.
Obama is telling us now that cutting is not going to solve our problems and this is his way of saying that we need to raise revenue. Raising revenue is Democrat speak for raising taxes.
Half of the workers in this country pay more than enough in taxes. The other half pays little of no taxes to the federal government and many pay no taxes and get money from the government. This is total redistribution of wealth and it is what Obama thinks is just and fair.
How about we have a fair tax code that requires ALL workers to pay a portion of their income in taxes. Close the loopholes and make everyone who earns wages pay taxes. We will increase revenue and then the people who benefit the most from Democrat wealth redistribution plans will see that things are not free.
However, the most important thing we can do is cut the spending at the federal level. Obama promised to go line by line but all he has done is expand government. Cutting is the way to go and we need an ax not a scalpel.
The only revenue problem we have is that half the workers do not pay any of the revenue. The real problem we have is a spending problem and that is where we need real change we can believe in.

111th Congress Accumulated More Debt That First 100 Congresses Combined
Dec 30, 2010 Political
Nancy Pelosi took the reigns pledging that there would be no deficit spending and that they would employ the pay as you go philosophy of governing. After her tenure as Speaker the 111th Congress has accumulated more debt that the first 100 Congresses combined adding $10,429.64 for each person counted in the 2010 census.
The years the Democrats were in charge were the four most expensive in our history as they set records for deficit spending.
The Democrats like to talk about how George Bush wasted a surplus (a surplus never existed as the US still had debt for the period the claim is made) and they like to discuss how he spent us into debt.
It looks like all the blowhards who were screaming about deficit spending are the worst offenders of all.
It is sad that we, our children and our children’s children have been saddled with this additional debt through generational theft by Congress but what is really sad is that half of the country will never have to pay any of the debt off.
The top 50% will be paying the bill for a long, long time.

Is Fed Trying To Give Us Inflation?
Dec 14, 2010 Political
I keep saying that inflation is not that far away (I think it is here already) and when it hits it will be massive. Prices are going up and things are going to get worse before they get better. To top it off, the Fed’s policies will definitely give us inflation. Rick Santelli sees it this way:
My conclusion is that the goal of Chairman Bernanke and the Federal Open Market Committee was to monetize the growing U.S. debt and generate future inflation. On the last score….generating inflation….I think time will prove the Fed highly successful. CNBC
Make no mistake about it, the Fed is monetizing our debt and when it does you will need lots and lots of money to buy a loaf of bread.
Better stock up on basic necessities now.
