Hearsay: Pelosi Won’t Seek New Term As Speaker

Desperate to win, Democrats are pulling out all the stops. Some are running away from the Obama/Reid/Pelosi agenda and are now touting conservative principles where they claim to have voted more with the GOP than with party. This, of course, is nothing more than a method to gain votes and get reelected. They will go right back to being led around by their noses if they win.

Some are claiming that they would not support Nancy Pelosi for Speaker if they are reelected and one, Mike McIntyre (D-N.C.), is claiming that he heard Pelosi will not even run again to be Speaker.

This is nothing more than a tactic to get voters to reelect him based on his “opposition” to Pelosi and his supposed conservative credentials.

For one thing, Nancy Pelosi craves power and there is no way she would not run again for Speaker should her party keep the majority. If she were to not seek the position again it would be seen as a victory for the Republicans so there is no way that she would not seek to hold that office. That and she is power hungry.

This is all based on some pipe dream that Democrats will hold control of the House.

In other words, McIntyre is not going to have to worry about not voting for Pelosi. He won’t be there to vote and she will be part of the minority so Speaker is out of the question anyway…

It Will Take Less Time To Make Us Slaves

Barack Obama is out trying to whip his base into a frenzy so they will come out in November and vote. He is trying everything because he knows that he and his party are in real trouble. Obama is out lying about the Republican party and telling us that they want to go back to the policies of the last eight years, the ones that got us in trouble. This trouble has been brewing for longer than eight years and Democrats were in charge for most of the time the trouble brewed though both parties share the blame.

Regardless, Obama has already shown he will say anything to get what he wants. He has been caught saying different things at different times depending on who he is trying to appeal to. He is a con man, we are the mark and the sting is on the way.

Unless we can stop him by taking away his majority.

The funny thing is, Obama has to pump up his base after they came out in huge numbers (most of them being legal voters) in 2008. They are so displeased with him and what he has done that they are apathetic. They just do not care so Obama is out trying to get them to stay the course. He is telling his base that things take time so they need to be patient. He told them that it took time to end slavery and that the slaves patiently waited for it to end.

I fail to see a valid comparison here. The end of slavery came as a result of the Civil War, a war that was waged over state’s rights and which cost over 600,000 lives. The Obama Agenda is a war being waged over the rights of individuals and it has cost over 7 million jobs.

In the past 18 months Barack Obama has enslaved us to government. He has taken over auto companies, taken over health care, taken over the financial sector and he is trying to take over the very air we breathe by taxing the air we exhale.

The Obama base might not be happy that he has not done as much as he said and Massa Obama might like to tell them that ending slavery took a long time but the reality is it only took 18 months to make us all slaves.

If we do not stop this Socialist from fulfilling his agenda we will have even more trouble in this country.

It took 600,000 lives to end slavery the first time. How many will it take this time?

With A Spokesperson Like This…

Robert Gibbs is the mouthpiece of the Obama regime. He is supposed to be savvy when it comes to talking with the media and is supposed to be able to spin the information to benefit the regime and garner support from the base. Gibbs is supposed to do these things but he continually steps in the bad stuff and is not particularly good at getting the message out.

Not long ago he said that the Democrats would probably lose the House. This is common thought among the pundits but the WH Spokesperson is not supposed to say that. He is supposed to tell America that with continued support from Democrats, Independents, and supporters the regime should hold onto control of the House though the fight will be tough and they will lose some seats.

Of course it is hard to say things like that when one is busy ticking off the base. Robert Gibbs said that those on the left who say Obama is continuing the policies of Bush need to be drug tested. Set aside that that group is most likely to come back positive and think about what Gibbs did. He insulted the hard core supporters of the regime and of Democrats in general. He basically called them crazy and accused them of being under the influence of mind altering substances (which anyone who voted for Obama had to be anyway). Gibbs was not gentle with his remarks and in my opinion lacked the finesse one would expect from a spokesperson. Hell, Baghdad Bob did a better job than Gibbs. We knew he was lying but he made sure he toed the party line.

The problem with Gibbs is the same that we see with many in the regime, he is thin skinned. The people in this regime have their feelings hurt each time someone breaks wind, they hold grudges (Rangel and Waters supported Hillary…) and they whine and attack over the smallest things. George Bush was a hell of a lot more man than any of this bunch.

Gibbs allowed his thin skin to crawl with what has been said by the regime’s faithful and he insulted them. If you are losing your base or they are upset and telling you so then it is probably best to listen to them.

Gibbs did not do the regime any favors. While Democrats, under instructions from the White House, are ducking the health care takeover law, the financial reform law and other things people are not happy about and instead talking about the economy (which they have destroyed) just to try and get elected Gibbs is out there hurting their chances.

It is unlikely that he party faithful will change parties or vote Republican (some people cannot be saved) but they could very well stay home on election day. The Democrats have lost Independents and swing voters so they can ill afford to lose their base.

If the base stays home on election day, particularly in red areas, the result is the same as if they voted for the other side.

With a spokesperson like Gibbs, does Obama need any enemies?

Back In Time

Barack Obama is out on the campaign trail and he is still blaming everything on George Bush and his policies. Obama is blaming Republicans for all that went bad and said that we [as a nation] cannot put Republicans back in charge of the House and/or Senate because their failed policies are what got us here. Obama said that we can either go back or move forward.

One problem here is that Obama keeps going back in time to blame Bush for all that is wrong. If he wants to move forward and not go back then he should be telling America all that he has done that is so great. His regime has passed many items of his Socialist agenda and he is still spending hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to explain how good it all is. If it was really all that great then he would not have to keep trying to convince people. He is looking back and trying to blame George Bush for what is wrong and then equating Bush to the election that will put different members of Congress in place. In other words, Obama is comparing the president to the Congress.

If we were to be correct in all this then we should be discussing members of Congress and not presidents. That race is in 2 years. The reality of the situation is that the Democrats took control of Congress in 2007. When they took control unemployment was under 5% and the economy was doing fairly well though we had been spending way too much money.

In less than a year of Democrat control of the House we were in a recession. In fewer than two years our economy was collapsing and the players who were most at fault were Democrats. Dodd, Frank, and Waters (to name a few), played big roles in the economic collapse. The economy collapsed under the watch of Democrats in Congress. Forget about Bush being president. This election is about what members of Congress have done (some at the request of Obama) and if we compare how things are now to how they were before Democrats were in control we can easily see that the Democrats have been a miserable failure.

Two years before Obama took office his Democrats in Congress (Obama was one fo them) were ruining the economy. When he took office in 2009 they rubber stamped his agenda and they have driven our economy to the brink of total collapse. Their Stimulus has been a failure and they have spent money we do not have. Unemployment, which Obama was going to focus on like a laser beam, has not dropped below 9% in about 15 months. All of those months belong to Obama and his Congress.

Keep this in mind when the moron in chief tells you that he is moving forward. Keep in mind that the guy who does not want to go back in time continually does so in order to blame Bush.

You should also keep in mind that going back in time is not such a bad thing. Right now millions of Americans who are out of work would be happy to go back to the less than 5% unemployment the Republican Congress had.

When you think about the upcoming election do not be sidetracked and fooled by Obama’s misdirection. He is asking you to look at Bush as a reason not to vote Democrats out. What you should be looking at is the Congress and once you do it will be easy to see that we were in pretty good shape until the Democrats took control.

Obama likened things to a car and said that when you want to go forward you put it in D and when you want to go backward you put it in R. Well they put the R on a car for a very good reason, If you go the wrong way and need to correct the mistake you put your car in R.

In order to correct the bad mistake of going with D we need to put it in R and reverse the course. Sometimes D is the wrong direction.

And it is also important to note that Recovery starts with R.

It’s November or never.

Bush Tax Cuts Were For The Rich

For a very long time we have heard the Democrats lie about the Bush tax cuts. They always characterize those cuts as tax cuts for the rich. In reality, the middle class and those who pay no taxes made out better than any other group and the rich still pay most of the taxes in this country. That has not stopped Democrats from describing the tax cuts as cuts for Bush’s rich friends.

The Bush tax cuts are set to expire which should not be a problem because the tax cuts were only for the rich. The Democrats have no problem raising taxes, especially on the rich, so allowing the tax cuts to expire and thereby raising the taxes of the rich should be a no brainer for Democrats.

But this is an election year so reality is setting in. The Democrats are now discussing extending the tax cuts for the middle class. In June Steny Hoyer said that tax increases would eventually be necessary in order to get our debt under control but that he expected Congress to temporarily extend the middle class tax cuts:

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Tuesday that tax increases will eventually be necessary to address the nation’s mounting debt, raising a difficult election-year issue as Democrats fight retain control of Congress.

~snip~

Tax cuts enacted under former President George W. Bush are scheduled to expire at the end of the year, affecting taxpayers at every income level. President Barack Obama proposes to permanently extend them for individuals making less than $200,000 a year and families making less than $250,000—at a cost of about $2.5 trillion over the next decade. Breitbart

So there you have it, an admission from a Democrat that the Bush tax cuts were not for the rich. The middle class had cuts as well as demonstrated by Hoyer. Certainly the rich had their taxes cut, everyone who pays taxes did (and those who do not got rebates and credits) and since they pay most of the taxes theirs went down as well.

So the next time a Democrat claims the tax cuts were for the rich ask him what he would say if it were an election year.

And while we are busting myths, let us look at the idea that tax cuts do not stimulate the economy. Democrats believe that taxing (especially the rich) is the way to pay the bills and that cutting taxes does not stimulate the economy.

They believe that until there is an election ahead at which time they talk about tax cuts to stimulate the economy. With regard to the middle class tax cut extension:

“What you want to do is stimulate at this point in time, so you certainly do not want to increase taxes on the middle class, middle-income working Americans,” Hoyer told reporters. Reuters

What you want to do is stimulate so you CERTAINLY DO NOT want to raise taxes.

This rests the case. Tax cuts, not tax increases, stimulate the economy.

If they would have practiced this instead of passing a trillion dollar stimulus we would be well on our way to recovery.

Rush Limbaugh laid out that plan and Obama should have listened.

Speaking of Limbaugh, where is the outrage from liberals who get their panties in a wad when conservatives talk about people and death?

Never surrender, never submit.
