Looks Like We Are Still Here
May 22, 2011 Opinion
The signs were all over the place, I even saw one in Australia. The signs said that Jesus would return and the end of the world would occur on 21 May at 1800 in the Eastern time zone. The signs were the work of a fringe Christian group. A lot of people put their faith in this mess and are now probably a lot worse off today because they believed the words of a deranged person.
The only one who knows when the end will arrive is God.
If anyone else claims to know when the end will come that person is either a liar or a fool and those who believe that person need to go back to Bible study.
However, as our youth director said in church today (tongue in cheek of course), since we were all “supposed to die yesterday” today is truly the first day of the rest of our lives.
The effort was not a total bust since the person making the claim spent millions to get his phony message out and that had to help the weak economy.
Of course a lot of people are probably without money today but that his their fault.
What is that saying about a fool and his money?
Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.
