Obama Cancels Reporters’ Reservations

Barack Obama is supposed to bring us change we can believe in. He is the transformational figure who can bring opposing sides together and who can end the partisanship in Washington DC. He can supposedly feed the masses with loaves and fishes but the problem is, the campaign fails the sniff test.

Within the last two weeks, at least one (and maybe two), television stations have been told they will no longer have access to The Sainted One or anyone connected to his campaign because reporters from those stations asked Joe Biden some tough questions and he did not take kindly to it. Barack Obama prefers to go places where he is adored and worshiped like The View. When he appeared there the three liberal women told him how sexy he is and doted over him. Mrs. Obama received great treatment as well. John McCain and his wife Cindy appeared on The View and the liberal women acted like starving lions on a disable gnu. The point is, sometimes treatment is a bit rough.

Now The Sainted One has thrown reporters from three newspapers off his campaign plane, Airfarce, The One. Reports are that room needed to be made for either reporters from the major networks (are they not already there) or for a documentary crew to film the final days before this historic election. From Greek Columns (hail Obama, all hail) to a documentary crew to a presidential seal, is there nothing this guy won’t do to stroke his ego? If three reporters overcrowd his 757 how does his ego fit on board?

Reporters from The NY POST, WASHINGTON TIMES and DALLAS MORNING NEWS have until Sunday to get off the plane. Coincidentally, those three newspapers have endorsed John McCain.

Is this what Obama means by bringing people together? Is this what people mean when they say he is a transformational figure? Is this what we can expect in an Obama Administration should this country be so foolish as to elect him?

Imagine if George Bush threw reporters off the White House press corps because their papers )or networks) endorsed another candidate or because the reporters did not like him. Besides the fact that there would be no White House press corps, the left would go nuts. Obama himself would use that kind of incident to show how divisive Bush and the Republicans are. That troglodyte Helen Thomas has been a nuisance since Bush took office but he has yet to boot her. He might not call on her but he lets her hang around (she might just be dead and they haven’t moved her).

Banning television stations from interviews, encouraging supporters to flood talk shows when opposition speakers are on and throwing reporters whose paper endorses the other guy off the plane are all examples of a man who, rather than bringing people together, will divide us even more. These are the traits of a dictator which makes Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama no better than Dear Leader Kim Jong Il.

And these are the kinds of jackbooted things that take place in countries where they spread the wealth.

Powell Endorsement About Race And Nothing More

Colin Powell endorsed Barack Obama today and the left is having more of those tingly feelings down their collective legs. This is not a surprise and I stated quite some time ago that Powell would endorse Obama because he is black.

Powell claimed that this was not about race and if he had to make that claim then it is a sure bet it was. Powell gave a few reasons that he was endorsing the most inexperienced candidate ever to be nominated and among the reasons were Sarah Palin’s inexperience (she has more than Obama) and the negative tone of the McCain campaign with its personal attacks. I guess he had his head covered during all the negative attacks on McCain and particularly on Palin.

Rush Limbaugh made a good point by saying; “OK, fine. I am now researching his past endorsements to see if I can find all the inexperienced, very liberal, white candidates he has endorsed. I’ll let you know what I come up with.”

It is a very good point because Powell has never endorsed any white person with Obama’s lack of experience and he rejected Palin based on her experience so the only difference must be color. I imagine that Powell thinks that an Obama administration would give him a job which he could not get under white presidents. Oh wait, both presidents Bush employed the man and the latest president appointed him to a position that no other black person had ever held, until his replacement was appointed. Yeah, that Obama will be a transformational figure which is a way of saying that having a black president will transform this country away from its racist self.

Powell made an endorsement that is in opposition to how he has lived his life and the only thing that makes sense is that he wants a black guy in there. He even said back in August that an African American president would be electrifying. He has been in support of Obama for quite some time but they needed to coordinate the best time to make the announcement. This, even though Powell earlier stated that he would not endorse a candidate. I guess when he threw his values away he threw his integrity out at the same time.

Powell is free to endorse whomever he wants. He has that right and I would have actually respected him if he had the moral courage to tell us the real reason and that is because Obama is black. But he danced around with these weak claims that are easily disproved and actually gave no reason why Obama would be a good president.

Powell should have had the decency to man up and say I am voting for him because he is black. By specifically telling us that it is not because he is black he tipped his hand.

This is one endorsement from one general. There are plenty of general officers who support McCain and many more than support Obama. This is not going to change the picture very much in my opinion because many will see this for what it is. The media are salivating because it is a black man who held a high position in a Republican administration. But this is the man that the media painted as a bad guy. The libtards hated Powell but I bet they embrace him now.

I must say though, that I find it sad that a career military man would put color ahead of country.

Gore Still Holds Grudge for 2000, Finally Endorses Obama

The prophet of the United Church of Manmade Globull Warming, Al Gore, finally endorsed Barry Obama for president. This is not surprising given that Hillary Clinton is all but done and most others are falling behind the Obamessiah. The question is, why did he wait so long?

During his endorsement speech (why did he have to give a speech) Gore told the doting mob of Kool Aid drinkers that they should take it from him “elections matter.” This is his way of saying that if he had been elected in 2000 things would be different than they are today. I have no doubt about that but Gore means they would be better:

“After eight years of incompetence, neglect and failure, we need change,” Gore said. “After eight years when our Constitution has been dishonored and disrespected, we need changes.” My Way News

Gore still cannot get over the fact that he lost, yes lost, in 2000. Every recount shows he lost and yet he is unable to come to terms with that. I know he likes to talk badly about the president but Gore should think back to when he and Clinton were in office and the abuses that they were involved in before casting stones. The Constitution is abused by those who somehow find the word abortion or health care in the document. No where in the Constitution does it say Congress shall fund health care for all people (or even some of them). No where does it say that murdering unborn children is allowed. It does say the president is the commander in chief of the armed forces and that Congress will fund the army and navy.

It is easy for Al Gore to say that things would have been different if he had been elected. However, there is no way of knowing how he would have reacted to the events of 9/11. If he used what was done while he was VP he would have treated it like a criminal act, lobbed a few missiles and called it a day. Bin Laden and the terrorists kept attacking us because they wanted a response. 9/11 was so catastrophic that, with a Republican in the White House, they got one. Gore might have done little, thus further inviting increased attacks. He might have handled it heroically and in the best interests of the nation but, like him, I have no real way of knowing. I only have a past to look at for clues.

Obama got his big endorsement and he is all fired up, ready to bring about change and hope and hope and change. He is ready to tax the hell out of everyone and to abuse the Constitution that Al says has been dishonored and disrespected by imposing universal health care.

Al Gore endorsing Obama was no surprise. He has had it in for the Clintons since he lost in 2000 (yes he LOST). Al waited to be the last of the big names in order to stroke his overinflated ego.

I will be impressed the day Bill Clinton walks out on stage and endorses Obama.

Bill Clinton Endorses Obama

In 2004, Bill Clinton said this:

“One of Clinton’s laws of politics is, if one candidate is trying to scare you, and the other one is trying to make you think, if one candidate’s appealing to your fears, and the other one’s appealing to your hopes. You better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope.”

Hillary keeps warning of the disaster that would be created if Obama wins the nomination. He is not ready to lead from day one, he does not have her experience, and the Republicans will tear him apart. She is trying to scare people about the possibility of an inexperienced person at the helm or of four more years of a Republican in the White House. Obama wants people to think and he always talks about hope. He does not say much but he meets the criteria of who you should vote for, according to Clinton’s law of politics and Hillary meets the criteria of a person not deserving of your vote.

I wonder if he feels the same way today? After all, it is a Clinton law of politics. Of course, so is lying, being dirty, and saying or doing whatever it takes to get elected.

See the video at Breitbart.

UPDATE: There is a new ad Clinton is running designed to tap into voter’s fears about national security. Once again, she is the fear candidate and breaks one of Clinton’s laws of politics…

“It’s 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep,” the male narrator says. “But there’s a phone in the White House and it’s ringing. Something’s happening in the world. Your vote will decide who answers that call.” The Politico

Giuliani to Bow Out, Endorse RINO McCain

Rudy Giuliani placed all his marbles in a sack named Florida and lost them earlier today when John McCain and Mitt Romney placed ahead of him in the winner take all delegate fest. Giuliani ignored the earlier states and concentrated on Florida where a large number of New Yorkers come to spend the winters. It seems to me that Giuliani should have known that a large number of those New Yorkers would be Democrats and therefore could not vote for him. In any event, it looks like he will bow out as early as tomorrow morning and he will throw his support behind John McCain.

There is not a lot of difference between these two. Both are RINOs who embrace ILLEGAL immigrants. Giuliani has had three wives and McCain dumped his first wife after she had a terrible accident and gained weight so he could marry some younger chick. Giuliani and McCain are cut from the same cloth and either would bring the party closer to the liberal points of view. McCain has worked on so many bills with Ted Kennedy that there is probably a McCain room at the Kennedy compound. Each bill was terrible and the one he worked on with Senator Feingold took away the free speech rights of people and strengthened the position of the incumbents.

I guess Giuliani will support McCain and hope for the nod as VP or Attorney General and in order to do that Rudy would have to get on board with the Republican who many people believe could beat any of the Democrats. According to polls, that would be John McCain. Perhaps he could win. He is whiter than Obama and there are some people who are still hung up about color, he has more experience than Hillary and Obama combined and he is less abrasive than Hillary. Maybe he could actually win. The media loves him and the New York Times endorsed him most likely because he has the same liberal views that they do. Of course McCain has some conservative views that they don’t like (like his support for the war) but I have this feeling a President McCain would go to the southern border and invite the illegals in by the truck full. His immigration stance should make everyone worry as should this person who is working with him.

Well Giuliani ran a terrible campaign and spent millions of dollars to give it a run in one state and he came in third. That does not sound like the kind of guy we need running the war or our country. As he departs it tightens up the field a bit and makes tsunami Tuesday that much more meaningful. One other blessing is that we will not have to hear him mention 9/11 or Ronald Reagan again. In the debates it seemed like every other sentence was 9/11 or Ronald Reagan as if Rudy believed he were anything like Reagan or that anyone in the US did not know about him and 9/11.

It should be fun starting tomorrow.
