Maybe If They Blow Up A Golf Course
Aug 28, 2014 Terrorism
There are rumblings that one of the Al Qaeda offshoot groups is planning to attack somewhere in the US. An Al Quada magazine has posted instructions on how to make a car bomb and suggests targets of casinos (particularly in Vegas), oil tankers and military colleges. ISIS has stated several times that it is coming here and that the streets will run with our blood.
I am sure that many in the government are paying attention to these threats. I wonder though, if Obama is paying attention.
He is protected around the clock and he lives in a bubble. The rest of us are open to the world and if you live in a place like Maryland you are a target for any bad guy because the governor and his minions have infringed on our Second Amendment right.
I don’t think Obama takes this stuff seriously. If he did Benghazi might never have happened. He is wrapped up in his own little world where he thinks he is well liked and looked at with respect. Hell, he probably has some sympathies for the causes of those who are out to harm us.
I imagine the only way these terrorists will get his attention is if they start blowing up golf courses.
Once that happens Obama will lose his mind. Thousands of citizens blown up would be no big deal to him but let the bad guys start destroying golf courses and all bets are off.
I can see Obama now standing on top of Golf Cart One with a bullhorn screaming; “I hear you, the putting greens hear you and pretty soon the terrorists who blew up this golf course will hear you.”
The problem is not so much that Obama is on the golf course as much as it is he has his head buried in the sand trap.
I guess if we are attacked he has his fallback position.
Its Bush’s fault…
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Why Bother Tony Hayward For Taking A Day Off?
Jun 20, 2010 Political
Unlike Barack Obama, BP CEO Tony Hayward has been in the Gulf since very early on in the spill and has been there nearly every day since. He and his company have a lot to answer for and they certainly have a lot of the blame for what happened with the oil rig and the events that led to the spill. None of this is in dispute.
However, the company has been working around the clock to try to get the leak stopped. They have run into problems along the way but they are trying nonetheless. The federal government, led by Barack Obama, claims to have been on the scene since day one and to have been fully engaged but this is a blatant lie.
The regime has made the disaster much worse than it should have been by a slow response and by refusing help from people around the world who have experience. The leak is ongoing but we could have had equipment managing the spill in the Gulf in short order if Obama had taken the steps a true leader would have.
Instead, he did very important things like play golf about a dozen times, host Paul McCartney, attend fund raisers and frolic around like child all while the situation in the Gulf, the one Obama said he was responsible for and on top of, got worse.
Tony Hayward of BP has been made a villain in all of this and has been beaten like a piñata even though he has been working here since not long after the incident. If Obama, who claims NOW not to be Superman, can’t suck it up with a straw (though I understand he did well with that as a teen) then what is Hayward supposed to do? Nevertheless, Hayward is the one who gets beaten up as he was in his appearance before Congress where he was accused, among other things, of not answering questions.
Who can blame him? His company is sure to get sued and what he says there might be used in the suits. Just say little to nothing until the court cases are settled and if Congress does not like that then so be it.
Hayward’s company has already stated that it will pay all legitimate claims. It has been forced through coercion to put aside 20 billion dollars that some US government schlep will dole out (watch for this to be a political slush fund for the well connected) even though his company is only on the hook for 75 MILLION dollars.
Under the law Congress enacted after the Exxon Valdez incident, an oil company is required to pay the costs of clean up and up to 75 MILLION dollars in claims. THIS IS THE LAW.
Now Congress wants to pass a law to raise that cap and make it retroactive to cover the BP spill even though that appears to be a violation of the US Constitution (Article I, Section 9, Para Clause 3) though that might be a muddied argument depending on whether the issue is considered criminal or civil.
In any event, Tony Hayward was relieved of his duties in the Gulf and was sent back to England. Let me iterate, HE IS NO LONGER IN CHARGE OF THE RESPONSE IN THE GULF AND HAS BEEN SENT BACK HOME TO ENGLAND.
So Mr Hayward is back in England and decides to go to some yachting event with the other rich people (I suppose).
Just when it seemed Gulf residents couldn’t get any more outraged about the massive oil spill fouling their coastline, word came Saturday that BP’s CEO was taking time off to attend a glitzy yacht race in England.
Tony Hayward’s latest public relations gaffe didn’t sit well with people in the U.S. who have seen their livelihoods ruined by the massive two-month oil spill.
“Man, that ain’t right. None of us can even go out fishing, and he’s at the yacht races,” said Bobby Pitre, 33, who runs a tattoo shop in Larose, La. “I wish we could get a day off from the oil, too.” My Way News
This ticked off a lot of people in America (as evidenced in the quote). The fact that Hayward went to the event was not missed by the Obama regime.
I find it interesting that Obama has played golf about a dozen times since the oil spill began and played golf around the same time that Hayward, WHO IS NO LONGER IN CHARGE OF THE GULF RESPONSE, was at a yacht race. Obama even attended a baseball game the night before. Why is Hayward the bad guy for going to a yacht race AFTER he was relieved of his duties but Obama can participate in many sporting events (among many other superfluous items) and he is still supposedly in charge (at least that is what he keeps saying)?
I would be just as happy if they relieved Obama of his duties and he went out and played golf. In fact, if he steps down he can play even more.
But people need to stop whining because Tony Hayward, who is by no means a saint, goes to a yacht race after he was relieved of his duties and focus more on Obama who is supposed to be in charge but seems to live on a golf course.
Never surrender, never submit.

I Can’t Believe Someone Would Do This
Oct 13, 2009 Political
Some cretin sneaked into a Massachusetts golf course overnight and used a tool or shoes with cleats or spikes (like maybe, golf shoes) to dig a green up with the words “I [Swastika] Obama.” Some lowlife degenerate dug those words into the 18th green. The words were discovered by workers when they arrived at work. They tried to paint over it with green paint but that did not work so they might have to dig it up and plant some sod.
What kind of lowlife, degenerate, half witted, knuckle dragging moron would do something like this?
I mean, who defaces a golf course?
My G-d, have they no decency?

UPDATE: Commenter Victoria says that the symbol is one of hope and peace in some eastern religions.
They think it was supposed to be a swastika, however, in the way that it is done it means hope and peace in some eastern religions.
Therefore, it might be I hope and peace Obama. Still makes no sense…

Maybe They Should Have Invited Congress To Play Golf
Dec 28, 2008 Political
The Big Three automakers went to Washington to ask for bridge loans so they could make ends meet. There are quite a few Americans who do not want to lend this money to them and the left is bonkers over the idea that the Big Three could fail. There are a lot of union workers at the auto companies and the Democrats are indebted to them.
The UAW would not make immediate concessions and opted to give in a few years from now. This put an end to the deal from Congress but President Bush helped them out with some of the bailout money. The UAW figures it only needs enough to get by until Obama takes office and there are bigger majorities in the House and Senate. Then they will start cashing in IOUs.
The Big Three have shut down operations for various amounts of time to help get rid of existing inventory and to defer costs. The union employees will be paid 95% of their salaries to stay home so they got a paid vacation through the Christmas holiday season.
The union made sure to keep the deed to its $6 million golf course which is part of a $33 million retreat in Michigan. Too bad they were told to stay home with pay during the winter or they could have gotten some time in on the golf course. Hell, they should have invited the members of Congress to play a few rounds and maybe they would have gotten their handout.
Is it any wonder why the companies are doing badly? UAW members pay dues and the UAW uses them to buy golf courses. Truth be told, it is probably not the rank and file that gets to use it on a regular basis. But they are getting 95% of their pay to do nothing so it is not all bad for them.
The companies are taking it on the chin but this is what happens when they enter into contracts that give the world to the workers.
My friend Don Surber mentioned that Toyota posted a loss for the first time in its history and then asked if it meant that they make crappy cars that no one will buy. That has not been the issue with the Big Three and if anyone thinks that then they are mistaken.
For the most part the American companies make good cars. The labor costs to build them are higher and that is why it is hard for them to compete.
Maybe they could sell that golf course and use the money to offset the labor costs associated with the cars. Perhaps they could turn it into a profit maker (they lose money on it now) and use that money to pay employees who are not working.
Whatever happens, it is hard to have sympathy for CEOs who fly in on private jets to beg for money for workers whose union owns a $6 million golf course.
I guess they won’t have to worry for long. Obama owes the union so that golf course will probably be his new Summer retreat. He can sign the papers giving them the money right from the 19th hole.
