Reid Pulls His Monster Bill
Dec 17, 2010 Political
The 1900 page Omnibus bill that would fund government for another year has been pulled by Senate Leader Harry Reid. The bill contained over 6000 earmarks (from members of both parties) and the total cost of the bill was 1.3 TRILLION DOLLARS. Reid pulled the bill after several Republicans (in name only) who had earlier supported it, withdrew their support. This is a blow to the Democrats who had hoped to go out with a bang.
This bill has been in the works for nearly half a year. The Congress is supposed to pass a budget and it did not so we are down to the last minute of the game and they are still playing around.
Reid put together a bill that included Republican earmarks requested before the election and added them to the bill. Some Republicans who did not get the message from the last election were working behind the scenes to get the things passed but were silent about them publicly. As the details unfolded some of the Republicans began to get uncomfortable in supporting the HUGE spending bill. Some Democrats in the Senate who will be up for reelection in two years are feeling the same heat.
Anyway, Harry Reid pulled the bill because he knows that he will have a hard time getting support. He is working on a short term extension of government funding to take us into the new year and then the new Congress will work on it. This does not mean that Democrats (and some Republicans) will not be working to lard up anything that makes its way through so they can take home the bacon this Christmas.
We need to be on the lookout and prepared to call them out.
This, so far, is a win. We cannot afford the 1.3 TRILLION DOLLARS the bill spends and we cannot afford to let the people who were voted out of office decide how things will be run when they are gone.
And liberals, if Reid and the Democrats had done this when they were supposed to we would not be discussing it now. This is part of that crisis management that the Dems are known for. Never let one go to waste you know. So they take it to the wire and figure they will hold the country hostage. Surely the Republicans will have to budge when backs are against the wall.
It did not work out like that this time.
And it can only get better in the new Congress…
Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Reid: Everything bad from 2012 – 2014 is Republican’s Fault
Nov 3, 2010 Political
Already Dingy Harry is claiming that everything bad that happens between now and 2014 is the fault of Republicans. Did I call this, or what? Reid is campaigning, right now, November 3, 2012, for Democrat candidates in 2014. And, like any good Democrat, he just throws the lies around.
Reid has “warned” the GOP to stop obstructing, like they have been doing. Of course, that’s a complete lie. I’ve mentioned this one before, but the media never calls him on it. It is a complete and total lie to claim Republicans blocked ANY legislation in the Senate — it was literally impossible. If every single Republican voted against an issue and every Democrat voted for it, it passed. Therefore, the ONLY way there was “obstruction” was if a DEMOCRAT voted against Reid.
But hey, Harry says he wants to work with Republicans, but only if they’re going to agree with him. Well, he said something about “a combined yes,” which actually means, either agree 100% with Harry or he’s going to call you an obstructionist. As I predicted, the Democrat campaign theme for 2014 is already revealed: Republicans are the party of no and to blame for anything bad.
Reid shows his confusion when he claims in one sentence that he’s comfortable with his 53-seat majority, yet says that the ball is in the Republicans’ court. Well which is it, Harry? Are you in charge or Republicans? Oh, wait, I know the answer — when anything liberal is passed, Harry’s in charge. When anything liberal fails to pass, Republicans get all the credit.
Hey, it could be worse — anti-gun king Schumer could be running the place.

How Did Harry Reid Win?
Nov 3, 2010 Political
This past week I discussed the irregularities at the Nevada polls and how SEIU technicians were responsible for the voting machines. The powers that be assured us that even though the machines were registering more votes than cast, it was nothing to worry about and the results of an inquiry would be made available after the election.
It is after the election and Harry Reid won. Reid picked up 8% to win which is a huge pick-up. He was down by an average of 3% to his opponent and he won by 5%. That 8% swing is unreal and since incumbents who poll under 50% usually do not win, something seems amiss.
Reid and his goons were twisting arms yesterday and had the casino mobsters going over lists of employees who had not voted and instructing bosses to get on those folks and make them vote. One has to wonder what kind of shenanigans took place in this election.
Nevada has the highest unemployment rate in the country even though Harry Reid, by his own account, saved the world from collapse.
It seems he was unable to save Nevada but some mysterious folks in Nevada saved him. Something hinky took place.
Well, like the other relics in Congress, Reid has been around a long time and is pretty advanced in age. Maybe he will join Kennedy and Byrd soon and we can be rid of him.
I bet there are a lot of Democrats right now who wish they had ignored Reid, Pelosi and Obama.
I also wish I owned a moving company in DC. Looks like a lot of people will be packing up and moving after the TEANAMI in the House last night.
As an aside, Kith Olbermann was railing about Tea Party candidates and saying that Palin’s picks did not do so well (he is intimidated by women, especially strong ones). He failed to mention how many people Obama campaigned for, and on more than one occasion, lost last night. Those Obama went to help did not fair so well. MSNBC, Lean Forward and take it like a man…
Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Harry Reid Says He Saved World From Depression
Oct 22, 2010 Political
Harry Reid is in the fight of his political career and it is very likely that he will be beaten by a virtual unknown who had the backing of the Tea Party. Reid is a powerful Senator and his ouster would be a huge slap to Democrats. Obama and other Democrat leaders (including Bubba Clinton) have been campaigning for Reid in a last ditch effort to keep him in DC. The White House needs to keep its sock puppet in place.
It is no surprise that Reid will say or do anything to defeat Sharron Angle. He has distorted her words, lied about her record and lied about her platform. He painted her as out of touch and radical and that was sticking until they debated. Then the people of Nevada saw a person who held her own and answered most of the questions. Reid bumbled and was, at times, incoherent.
The race is coming down to the wire and Reid is pulling out all the stops. Obama will be back there this weekend to whip up support. Reid is so desperate he has taken credit for saving us from a depression. One can argue whether the financial system was at the point of depression or whether it was painted that way for political purposes but one thing is certain, if we were near depression Reid did not save us. But he said he did:
Harry said; “…but for me we’d be in a world-wide depression.” Yes, Harry Reid saved the world and no one gives him credit because things are so bad right now.
What is it with these Democrats and their messianic complexes? Obama was the next coming of Christ who was sent here by G-d to save us and Obama himself told us how he would recede the oceans and save the planet. He was compared to Christ in Congress and he was compared to a prophet by the Nation of Islam.
Now Harry Reid is Superman who saved the WORLD from a depression. “Disguised as a mild mannered Senator from Searchlight, he fights a never ending battle to tell the truth…” These Democrats seem to have higher opinions of themselves than they actually deserve and while it is not unusual for politicians to inflate their records, I think Reid has gone way beyond exaggeration…
It is obvious Reid is grasping at straws and saying anything in order to get reelected but claiming to have saved us from a depression is a total lie.
Nevada voters, on the other hand, can save us from being depressed by voting this weasel out of office.
Big Dog salute to Breitbart TV.
Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Reid: Obama Like Chilean Miners
Oct 18, 2010 Political
Harry Reid is in the fight of his political career because it looks, more and more each day, like Sharron Angle will defeat him on November 2nd. Reid has tried every dirty trick in the book to keep from being defeated but Angle cleaned his clock in their debate and now has a 50-47% lead just two weeks before the big day. Reid has had some visits from Obama and Bill Clinton to try and scare up votes but it does not seem to be working.
Reid is so desperate to rationalize his support of the Obama agenda that he compared Barack Obama to the Chilean miners who endured 69 horrible days trapped underground. Explaining the hole Obama found himself in, Reid states:
“It was like the Chilean miners, but he, being the man he is, rolled up his sleeves and said ‘I am going to get us out of this hole,'” Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) said in Las Vegas on Sunday. Real Clear Politics
So Obama was like the men buried nearly a half mile below the surface of the Earth and heroically dug his way out.
If Obama was in a deep hole we could throw a rock on top and go home.
Problem solved.

Never surrender, never submit.
