Bill Clinton Whines About Hillary’s Press Coverage
Dec 4, 2007 Political
Bill Clinton is out on the campaign trail and he is whining about the press coverage his wife is getting. Clinton said that the media ignores experience and looks at political issues which he claims have a “half life of 15 seconds.” He made the claim that if the media would only look at the experience of his wife then people would see she is best qualified and most experienced to lead this country. Let us take a look.
Hillary has never run anything. She has not been a CEO of a company, she has not been a Governor of a state and she has not been the boss in a business. Her work experience is as a lawyer and as the First lady of Arkansas and of the country. She was not in a position of leadership in any of those capacities and yet this is what she claims for experience. She is no more experienced than any of her rivals other than she can lay claim to being a First Lady and they cannot. The job of First Lady does not qualify her or anyone else to be the President. The wife of a CEO for a large corporation is not qualified, based upon being the wife of the CEO, to run the company. In addition, Hillary refuses to release any of the records that might shed light on her supposed experience.
As for Bill, he has no right to complain about media coverage. He had it easy as President and continues to get great coverage. If Drudge had not broken the Monica story it might have never been told. When the “Path to 9/11” aired Clinton used his star power to force ABC to take out truthful items that reflected unfavorably on him. He used a surrogate to steal documents from the national archives and the media failed to skewer him as they would have ANY Republican. Clinton got sympathy from the media when he was being impeached and the treatment was in stark contrast to the treatment that Republicans involved in sex scandals have received.
Bill Clinton and his wife are liars who rewrite history as a matter of convenience. He recently said that he was against the Iraq War from the start despite the fact that his earlier words on the subject convey a totally different opinion. If we were to have a Democracy in Iraq tomorrow with all fighting in the Middle East ended, Clinton would claim that he supported the effort from the start.
Hillary is no different. She changes positions depending on the latest poll and who will be offended the least. She made statements, before George Bush was in office, that Hussein was a threat and that he had WMD and needed to be removed from office. Now she claims she was misled by the President. She is a partisan hack who is only interested in attaining power, a power she feels is due to her. She believes that it is her birthright to be President and that we should trust her because she said so. She was responsible for the socialized health care plan that failed though her hubby, in revisionist style, is now taking the blame for it.
They are both snake oil salesmen who will say or do anything to get and keep power. Bill indicated that even if he were not married to her he would be out there stumping for her. The truth is, if they had never been married no one would no who she is and she would not be in the Senate and she would not be running for the presidency.
And if Bill were not married he would be out doing the same thing he has done all through his married life.

Why Won’t Blacks Embrace the GOP?
Dec 2, 2007 Political
Frank Rich wrote a piece in the New York Times in which he showed how Barack Obama could win the nomination and stifle the GOP because they would not know how to deal with race. Mr. Rich contends that the GOP has barricaded itself and tends to ignore the black vote, not because they are racists, but because they GOP is saddled with a history that makes it uncomfortable:
But the G.O.P., by its own doing, is nonetheless saddled with a history that most recently includes “macaca†and Katrina, Mr. Bush’s appearance at Bob Jones University in 2000 and the nonexistent black population of its Congressional delegation.
~snip~
…But not even conservative leaders of this stature [Gingrich and Kemp] could persuade their party’s top 2008 presidential contenders to show up for a September debate moderated by Tavis Smiley for PBS at the historically black Morgan State University.
It’s not because those no-shows are racists; it’s because they are defensive and out of touch. With the notable exception of Mike Huckabee, most of the party’s candidates have barricaded themselves from African-Americans for so long that they don’t know how to speak to or about them. New York Times
I have to disagree with Mr. Rich on these issues because he misses the bigger picture. The GOP is not saddled bad things, it is painted with the broad brush of racism by a slavish media that sees everything GOP as bad and everything from the left as good. Macaca was an unfortunate issue blown out of proportion by a media that refused to give the same attention to the rantings of Cynthia McKinney and her people and who continually ignore the racist and anti Semite words used by the so-called black leaders for fear of alienating them. Katrina involved black people (for the most part) led by a black mayor and a white governor, both of whom happen to be Democrats. The media never took the Democrats in state leadership to task for their inability to protect their people and instead focused their attention on a massive government effort that was delayed while helicopters performed dangerous missions rescuing those the state leadership failed to evacuate. Once again, this was contrived by the media, a media that refused to look at the actual mission of FEMA or the federal government. A media that led people to believe that George Bush was a racist because he and the feds did not don red capes and fly in to save people. This is the same media that actually gave some spotlight to an idiot like Farrakhan and his assertions that the feds blew up the levee to flood black people. This is a media that ignored the corruption that caused money for levee work to be rerouted to gambling interests and it is the same media that ignores the abuse of federal money in Louisiana at this very moment. A media that will focus on contractor waste in Iraq and ignore the graft and corruption in New Orleans. Maybe the reason members of the GOP do not know how to talk about or to blacks is because nearly everything they say is distorted by the media as more evidence of racism. Perhaps Mr. Rich should look into this.
As for blacks and the GOP; why would any black person want to be in the GOP? It is not because the GOP is a bunch of racists or that it treats black people differently. No, these folks do not want to be in the GOP because of the way they are treated by other blacks who have been the recipients of Democratic hand outs for so long that they do not understand self reliance. The dependent blacks will refer to those blacks in the GOP as “Uncle Toms” or sell outs to their race. The GOP welcomes them with open arms, it is the Democratic party and particularly the blacks in the Democratic party that cause them problems.
As for looking at the absence in the Congressional Delegation, let’s do that. First of all about 90% of blacks vote Democratic. There is no secret there and that is why the GOP skipped the debate at Morgan State. Morgan State is a black college and it is located in one of the most liberal states in the union. No debating in the world would help with the people there and any gains made would be negligible. Also, when blacks run for office as members of the GOP they are castigated by other blacks who believe that they must remain Democrats and vote for Democrats or they will be ushered back to a plantation to pick cotton.
Michael Steele ran for the US Senate in Maryland against an old white guy who was a Congressman for years and years. His name is Ben Cardin and he is a Democrat. Steele, a charismatic man who happens to be black and conservative, was shunned by the black voters of this state in favor of an old white guy. So Mr. Rich should explain why it is that blacks (mostly Democrat) shun other blacks in favor of old white guys. The reason that the GOP does not have any blacks in the Congressional Delegation is not because we do not try, it is because blacks overwhelmingly support Democrats and because there are very few blacks who are Republicans so it makes it even more difficult to find a person to run for office. After what Steele went through, why would anyone want to?
No Mr. Rich, the GOP is not out of touch with the black voters in this country. The GOP is well aware of them and is also well aware that the Democrats have convinced them, through years of welfare and other social programs, that the Dems are the party for them and they owe that allegiance. The blacks quickly forget that they are IGNORED right after the election. Then, leading up to elections a bunch of feel good legislation is passed so politicians can say they are the party of minorities. The Democrats buy the votes and then ignore the blacks all over again.
One only needs to ask, how much progress have blacks made in the last 50 years, a time when Democrats have held office as the majority more than Republicans ever have and a time period of huge amounts of money spent on social programs, the same kinds of programs that caused people in New Orleans to be unable to take care of themselves. The highest crime rates is in the black community. Black on black crime (particularly murder) is at an all time high and if it continues there will not be enough young black males to continue the race. The teen pregnancy rate in the black community is very high and the rate of households where there is only one parent is well over 50%. The inner cities, where blacks tend to live, are crime ridden with high unemployment and high incarceration rates.
GOP racism is not the cause of these things. This is because of a breakdown of the black community and disintegration of the black family unit. This is because social programs ostensibly designed to help the black community actually keep them downtrodden and subservient to the Democratic Party. If Obama wants to wake up and find more blacks in college than jail he needs to abandon the idea that social programs will cure the ills of society. Only by looking at the root cause can a solution be devised.
Regardless of that process, it is safe to say that it was not the programs of the GOP that caused the breakdown of the black community. It is also safe to say that until the cycle of dependence is broken the black community will continue to be enslaved to the Democratic party and their plight will be the same. Rich and others can blame the GOP but looking at it as a whole, those minorities who have chosen to be more conservative and joined the Republican party have done well. Colin Powell, Condi Rice, and Clarence Thomas are all blacks who have done well as conservatives (though Powell is the least of the bunch) and they did so based upon their merits, not because of a program.
Those minorities on the left who are successful owe that success to race hustling and class warfare. They maintain power by telling everyone about the racists in the world and claiming victim status. They also make money by keeping those they are supposed to represent down rather than helping them achieve something.
Mr. Rich, there are many problems in this country with race and the image of the GOP might be a problem but it is not one that will ever be erased as long as the black community refuses to remove the shackles placed on them by the left and embrace the idea that they can achieve without being attached to the government teat.
I would think that being taken granted for so long would embolden the black community to

Bill Clinton Again Rewriting History
Nov 28, 2007 Political
Bill Clinton asserted that he was opposed to the war in Iraq from the very beginning though his remarks at the time were much more tempered and did not portray a person who was absolutely opposed to the action. He indicated that it would not have been proper for him to have more open statements at the time because he was not the president. He did however, have no problem with expressing that the weapons inspectors should be given more time. Fourteen years of folly was not enough for Clinton.
I believe that Clinton now expresses that he was absolutely opposed because Obama, his wife’s opponent, is the only candidate who can say he was against the war from the beginning and not have to prove it. The others have their pesky votes to show what they actually did. John Edwards says he was wrong to vote that way and Hillary stated she was misled by president Bush. Once again, it is someone else’s fault. If this is the smartest woman in the world and she was misled by President bush, a man many on the left believe to be an idiot, how was she so easily misled?
Clinton was on the campaign trail trying to raise support for his wife who has seen her numbers drop over the past few weeks. He mentioned himself more times than he mentioned her but that might be the point because he is more liked than she is so people get the impression that he is the one they are electing. He also told the audience how Hillary has experience and has not forgotten what it is like to “be like you.” Read this as even though she is rich she has not forgotten what it is like to be one of the little people. Of course, she failed to give a tip at a diner. I am not saying that it was deliberate but wouldn’t one of “us” remember to so that?
Clinton also played this phony concern for the military while lying about tax cuts. He was lamenting the Republican tax cut for the rich and how he, as a rich guy, is not paying money that could go tot he troops. First of all tax cuts were not “for the rich” they were for everyone. They have helped the middle class and poor (those who ACTUALLY pay any taxes) and they have helped produce a strong economy. The rich still pay a higher marginal tax rate than anyone else and they also pay most of the taxes in this country. Of course they will get more money back because they pay a hell of a lot more in. Secondly, the treasury will take donations to the government and I am sure Bill is aware of this. if he is so concerned that he is not paying his fair share then he is certainly free to donate money to the treasury.
Obviously, this is more of the Clinton feel good talk and double speak. A lot of people will believe him when he says he wants to pay more but few will know that he could if he wanted to. They will assume this poor schmuck is just dying to give more money back if only those mean Republicans would take it.
Mr. Clinton, I call on you to either make a donation to the treasury for what you think you should be paying or shut your mouth about the issue. People deserve better than to be misled by a snake oil salesman.
Fact 1: We pay too much in taxes even after tax cuts.
Fact 2: The government takes in huge sums of money. The real problem is uncontrolled spending.
Fact 3: We could take even more in tax cuts if the Congress would stop spending BILLIONS in pork projects.

Hillary is Not Unbeatable
Nov 26, 2007 Political
Since Bill Clinton left office after eight tumultuous years and his wife of convenience won a Senate seat in New York it has been widely speculated that she would run for the office of president and that she would win. She believes that the office of president is her manifest destiny, a right that she is owed by this country. She played coy, to be certain, but she knew all along what she intended to do even while she was denying she would run. She told voters who asked her if she would abandon New York for the White House that she was concentrating on winning her Senate seat, a ruse and half answer to make the uninformed believe that she had no aspirations to higher office. Then B. Hussein Obama came out early and announced his candidacy putting Hillary on the defense, a position that she does not like though as a Clinton, one to which she should be accustomed.
When Hillary announced she was running she was proclaimed the candidate to beat, the one with the experience, the one with the birthright to the presidency, a Hsu-in*, if you will. Hillary has been running a good campaign by keeping her interviews scripted, her questions planted, and her media friends happy. There is a certain segment that supports her out of fear or keeps their lack of support secret for much the same reason. If Hillary wins she will not forget those who crossed her and if she loses many will have hell to pay. Her name recognition and vague positions gave her a commanding lead when the whole campaign season kicked off but as time wore on her Democratic rivals began to attack her and that is where the cracks in her armor began to appear. She began fumbling for answers and has responded poorly to items that show her in a negative light.
Still Hillary was in the lead and looked unbeatable. She was in a tight race in Iowa but national polls showed her the presumptive winner in the primary and handily beating any Republican. Some of her supporters have commented here that her gaffs were minor and she has not suffered in the polls because she is a superior candidate and the things people are bringing up are non issues. It would seem that this is not the sentiment of the population now that Obama has taken the lead in Iowa. Hillary is not seen as invincible any longer. In a recent Zogby poll Hillary would lose to the top 5 Republicans if the election were held today. Hillary, whose people have been downplaying a potential loss in Iowa, now have to deal with news that she is not necessarily the front runner in the race.
The news gets worse for Hillary because the same poll shows that Obama beats every one of the Republicans to whom she loses. Couple this news with Obama’s surge in Iowa and this might make those who were weary of her in the first place even more inclined to vote for her toughest primary opponent. Democrats are so desperate to win the White House this news might cause a number of people to jump ship in hope that Obama can accomplish that task. Hillary, for all her faults, is not a dumb person. She has to know what the polls mean. She is an avid poll watcher and she has to comprehend what the future holds if current trends continue. She has to know that Obama will get a great lift from this poll because Democrats want someone who can not only win the primary but who can beat the Republican nominee and, right now, that person appears to be Obama.
The primaries kick off in about 5 or 6 weeks and a lot can happen between now and then. The Clinton camp can dig up some more dirt on Obama or release some false information just prior to the caucuses causing him to go into a tailspin. If current trends continue the dirt will be flying sooner rather than later as Hillary attempts to reign in her support and destroy Obama. Of course, she might be holding back because there are plenty of skeletons in her closet and she does not want them exposed. She also has some new issues with which to contend so she needs to tread carefully through the minefield of primary politics.
If she is not careful with how she slings the mud she might have to explain the rumors about her relationship with her female adviser. Another Clinton sex scandal might be just enough to sink her forever.

Democrats Fail to Support the Troops
Nov 20, 2007 Political
Too often the word is put out that the Democratic Party supports the troops and anyone who dares to question that is castigated by anyone associated with that group. People can’t really be blamed for the perception that the Democrats do not support the troops because they have a strange way of showing their support. In the past year they have voted on over 40 pieces of legislation designed to hurt the mission and to lose the war. They opposed the troop surge and now that the evidence is clear that the surge is providing benefits they claim it is not and that a decorated general is a liar. They have trumpeted the cry that we have lost the war and they wave the white flag in front of our enemies. This is what passes as support and how dare anyone question that. The same holds true with funding the war.
The Democrats have tried very hard to take money away from the troops who are in harm’s way. They haggle over cut and run strategies while those who are in harm’s way are denied the very items they need to survive. The Democrats have taken a beating from their fringe kooks who have chided them every time they voted for more money yet the Democrats are never voting to fund the troops. They are voting on a military package that they have loaded with pork because they realize this is the only way to push their unpopular agenda. They have added minimum wage increases and all kinds of other items that have nothing to do with the war to the spending bill because they know that the President will sign it as long as it does not have a time line for withdraw.
After taking a beating for the past year the Democrats are again playing politics with our troops. The president has asked for $196 billion to continue the war effort and the Democrats have responded by offering a $50 billion dollar package but only if it contains provisions for the withdrawal of our troops. They want to begin bringing them home by the end of December and have them completely out by the end of next year. This is a debate that has been rejected time and again so now the Democrats, fed up with the beating they are taking, have decided that they will not provide any money unless it includes a cut and run strategy. This is going to cause problems.
The Pentagon has announced that about 200,000 federal employees will be furloughed between now and February if the money is not authorized. The Secretary of Defense has reported that many military bases will operate with only enough people to provide protective services (fire, police, security) for the people living on those bases. The furlough notices will go out before Christmas and people will begin being told to stay home just after the first of the year. The troops will not have money or equipment and now they will not have the federal employees here to support them and their mission. This is nothing but pure politics and it comes at the cost of peoples paychecks which is always bad but even more so around this time of the year. Even more importantly, our troops will be placed in increased danger because of the politics of the Democratic Party, a party that does not have the guts to just cut off all funding for the war.
The Democrats have failed to pass any of the required budget items this year. They are months overdue and it does not look like they will be getting this accomplished any time soon. In addition to neglecting their Constitutional duties with regard to the budget, they have also neglected their Constitutional duty to provide for our war fighters.
So I have news for you Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and all you other left wing pukes. Don’t you dare tell me that you support the troops. Don’t you dare come out and act like you care about them and don’t you discuss how wonderful your party is with regard to them. You have abandoned them time and again and you have put their mission and their safety in jeopardy. If you ever say that you support the troops again someone should punch you right in the mouth.
I want the people in this country to remember that it is the Democrats who are screwing our troops. No matter who gets the nod in the primaries, none of them are fit to serve as Commander in Chief. The ones who are in Congress have voted to cut funding for the troops. They want to be the leaders of the greatest military in the world and yet they lack the guts to properly fund the people who make up that military and whose lives depend on Congress doing its damned job. This should be a wake up call to those who are sitting on the fence with regard to the next election. None of the Democrats are fit to serve. They are selling out our troops and are selling out our country. To hell with all of them. It is also important to remember that many of the ones who are not running for the presidency are up for reelection next year. It is time to send everyone of them packing.
Obviously, the Congress has to appropriate money for their own salaries and they need to send that to the President to be signed. The President should veto the appropriation for their pay until they get money to the troops without the strings attached. If the Congress votes to override the veto for their own pay it will send a clear message that they care about their own asses more than they care about our troops.
My challenge to the twits in Congress is simple. Either cut off all funding for the war completely right now or appropriate the money needed to properly fund them. You have the power to vote to end the authority for the war and to end the funding. Ask your older colleagues, they know how from their cut and run days during Vietnam. If you oppose the war have the testicular fortitude to cut off the funding and bring the troops home. Otherwise, let the President run the military and you fund it as the Constitution spells out. I realize you don’t want to be seen as weak on national security or not supportive of the troops but believe me, that ship has sailed.
Your party is weak on national security and none of you filthy slugs supports the troops. Perhaps instead of asking Hillary about what jewelry she prefers someone could ask this stinking wench why she does not support the troops.
And President Bush, let me show you how to deal with these jackasses. Tell them that you will veto every thing they send up until you get the money for the military and that there will be no money for anything including their staff and all federal employees will be furloughed, including Congress, if they don’t get their act together.
