Hypocrisy is a Liberal By-law
May 17, 2009 Political
Everybody who hasn’t been in a soundproof room for the last couple of weeks has heard of the dust-up between Nancy Pelosi and the CIA, where she adamantly (and stridently, sometimes incoherently) denies that she knew anything about EITs (enhanced interrogation techniques) and claims that it was the CIA who lied. It must have been her ritalin talking to say something rash like that.
But she is not the only one who has problems on that side of the aisle, oh no. The list is almost as long as the membership of the Democrat party is itself. I think, because they are SO unused to power, that they have literally forgotten that they are accountable to the people of the United States for their egregious behavior and criminal attitudes.
Let’s begin our tour with Charlie Rangel, who has more than enough on his plate concerning whether he should pay taxes on several rent properties he actually owns. Yes, Chuckie- it is taxable. Then there are the expenses for leased cars, and owned cars, and it gets complicated, he says- but you see, he is part of the committee that writes the tax code, so he should know- that IS supposed to be his job. Is he incompetent? One might think so.
Little Timmy Geithner, former head of the New York Fed, a person who has been in on EVERY aspect of the generational theft we have been suffering under since the TARP fund was created, has tax problems- you would expect that the head of the Federal Reserve could at least PAY HIS TAXES- the rest of us common folk are expected to. This tax thing seems to be a problem with Dems- Dashle, Killefer, Dodd, Reid, all of these and more have not been able to reconcile their taxes.
This leads to a perception that Liberals just can’t do math- and yet they are managing our economy? This should not be, but the libs have been really good at subterfuge- look at how easily they fooled us with a smooth talker. We just didn’t know at the time that he can’t speak coherently without his tele-prompter. It is his best friend, and he takes it everywhere- I think I saw it even when he was ordering a burger one day, with Joe Biden.
Skinny B probably has a Secret Service guard on the tele-prompter, with orders to save the prompter, not Biden. There have to be priorities, after all. Amtrak Joey is expendable, after all, but the prompter is not.
Some people have a dashboard Jesus- Barama has a dashboard Prompter, so he can give directions to the driver.
It would be justice if, since the Dems started this financial mess, they could clean it up, but as I said before, obviously they can’t do math- when Skinny B claims that he inherited a deficit of 1.2 trillion dollars, but by increasing it to 4.6 trillion over the next three years he is reducing the deficit, I have to wonder if perhaps he has been into Pelosi’s Meds- and you can tell from HER expression that those are potent meds.
Harry Reid has some really questionable land deals in Nevada, Chris Dodd has legal mortgage questions concerning sweetheart deals with Countrywide, a company that took govt. money. Jack (all our soldiers are baby killers) Murtha has his own airport, which the government has paid over 150 million dollars for. Now, he is getting a runway resurfaced for 150,000 dollars. That airport serves twenty people a week, and he’s got the stones to criticize Republicans? He’s no better, and probably worse, than Ted (Bridge to Nowhere) Stevens was. Now his good for nothing nephew gets a no bid contract from the government to do nothing? Hypocrisy.
If Republicans were doing even half of these things, they would be tossed out of office, because at least Republicans have some shame, but the Dems act like they are immune to the stigma of criminal behavior, as if they deserve to be able to act this way. There is just no shame to these wastes of space. When Duke Cunningham was accused, he was out of office before he was convicted. Ted Stevens, out. Larry Craig, out. The conservative wing has some shame, and we take responsibility for our actions, unlike the serial deniers on the liberal side.
The one saving grace is that Barama can not possibly do what he says, monetarily. There is just not enough money to do this without a punishing tax hike on everybody, top to bottom. This is when their fake “class warfare” hype will collapse from the weight of the accumulated lies, and the people will finally see the faker and his thieving party for the criminals they are. The hypocrisy party will be over.
You can fool all of the people some of the time, and you can fool some of the people all of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.

Is It Really Green?
May 16, 2009 Political
I have written a couple of times on the so- called “Green” technology, and what I believe is the future of energy, and I have been taken to task for not having a coherent grasp of the minutia relating to the various technologies of this “new” change in direction. I have said that I would be glad to embrace new Hybrid, or electric, or hydrogen cars, IF THEY WORKED, and if there was an infrastructure in place to refill, or re- charge, or re- whatever needs to be done.
But I have always felt that if you have to travel fifty miles round trip, in order to fill your car, you are not saving money, you are not reducing your precious “carbon footprint”, and you have not done the environment any favors in any way.It does not matter what fuel you use, if you have to travel to the ends of the earth to get it. I mean let’s face it, “Dilithium Crystals” are not real, and our energy needs are.
This is why I have advocated for the continued use of present- day fuels, which means (by virtue of common sense), that we need to drill for oil and gas on both coasts. Our finances dictate that we use our own fuel, and refine it here, and sell it here. This keeps the money at home. In the meantime, the search and refinement of alternative energy proceeds. After all, the company that perfects the next generation of usable energy is the company that can feasibly write its own future.
What I find incredible is the news that a nuclear reactor that would have provided energy to all of southeastern Texas was denied the issuance of Government surety bonds, which effectively killed the project, as it needed the bonds to help develop the capital needed to proceed. The environmentalists killed it, just as they have killed any further coal- fired plants, and here is the problem with these nitwits- they have NO alternatives. None- and that is not acceptable. The saying, Lead, Follow, or get out of the way comes to mind. The mindless throwing up of roadblocks is not adding anything positive to the discussion.
Because, let’s face it- Progress will happen, that is written in stone- the only question is in what direction progress will take. Standing pat, as the enviro- nuts seem to want, is impossible, so it would seem to me that if they really want to be a part of the discussion, they should open their mouths and say something, but say something that keeps the discussion on topic.
The Republican party has been called the party of No, but it is really the environmentalists, who say no to oil and gas, say no to coal, say no to nuclear power, say no to ethanol, and say no to both solar and wind, because the laying of transmission lines would hurt a snail darter fish, or some lizard. Here’s a thought- the lizards can probably crawl over the transmission lines as they do at my house. Give me a freakin’ break- animals are more flexible than you might think, and accept things like pipelines and transmission lines in their midst easier than you know.
In the end, there are two ways humanity can proceed- we can find and use ALL available forms of power we can harness, or we can kill off at least half of all humanity, which will free up demand on the uses of energy, won’t it? Which one do you think would be more desirable? More logical? More user- friendly?
Of course, the other way would give us more elbow room, but what if you are on the wrong side of THAT equation? Whoops! There go your hopes and dreams. No, I think that if you are logical about this, and not blindly adhering to an agenda that has ulterior motives, you would have to agree that the only logical way is the first one I described, using all available forms of power, and keeping our money here at home.
Reviling oil and gas, as some in the “green” movement are doing, is doing them no favors, because just what are they using for power while they are building their brave new world? Rubber bands? No- they are using gas powered machines- but they are not liking it. Still, it’s better than rolling the wind turbines over logs to get them where they want, I think even they would agree.
Sometimes being a hypocrite is the best you can do- do the ends justify the means?
Now we’re cookin’ with gas.

On our knees, or on our feet- Choose one
May 11, 2009 Political
Well, it’s been over a hundred days since Barama was crowned, and in this time the administration has surely apologized a lot, and to virtually everybody in the world, as if we did something wrong.
Let me think- after we were attacked on 9/11, we went into Afghanistan to topple the Taliban and deny safe havens to Bin Laden. Any thing to apologize for here? No way.
Knowing that Saddam had ignored more than 17 resolutions from the gutless UN, and upon hearing from the French intelligence service, and the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad), and the British and Russian intelligence services, and from SADDAM HUSSEIN himself that he indeed had WMDs, President Bush decided that the risk was too great to allow WMDs in any terrorist groups hands. This was prudence on the President’s part, considering the information given. No apologies here.
When it comes to America’s security, a leader cannot take anything lightly. Not in this environment, considering the past actions, and future plots. There is still too much to be done, and it is looking like much of the work will be left unfinished due to a change in leadership, and a vast gulf in Global Understanding on the part of Barama, who thinks that just because some people cheer him, they wish him well. Caesar could say a few things about friendship and its transient quality.
But more important than being liked is being respected, and any hint of weakness is not a building block for respect, but a chink in our armor that someone will seek to exploit. Apologizing for something that has happened, before all the facts are known, as happened with Secretary Clinton, apologizing to Hamid Karsai, the head of Afghanistan, regarding an alleged American air strike that reportedly killed civilians, was premature.
Before any facts were known, Secretary Clinton had apologized for what was, in fact, a Taliban setup intended to embarrass the United States, something they have grown fairly adept at, with the complicit media, who take these killers at their word.
Wouldn’t you think that if it came to America, or the Taliban, that veracity might play into who to believe. Character counts, and America has always been in the forefront of aid to starving countries, and the first to aid devastated places. America gives more than anyone else to anyone else. We give more to Palestinian aid than many Arab countries. Ouch- that’s gotta hurt Muslim pride, huh? What has the Taliban ever done for its people? How has Al-Qaida made the world a better place for the people of this world? What fakers, what poseurs these apostate dogs are.
I understand jealousy, and that is what motivates most countries in their hate for the U.S.- they have most, if not all the same advantages that we have, but they cannot seem to make their government work right. In some cases, countries cannot seem to understand the concept of democracy, in others, they understand, but they hate the very idea, because empowering the people means no more power for the dictators.
I said all that to say this- there is a core of people in this country that will never feel the need to apologize, people that know deep in their DNA that there is no greater country, or form of government in the world today. We know that what we do for other countries, we do not out of any guilty conscience, but because it is the right thing to do, and doing the right thing comes natural to us. We know that there is an innate greatness and hope within all people, and we hope that our example does not create jealousy, but instead creates the environment where democracy and peace can sprout.
But mark my words well- we will be respected, and we will be sovereign in our undertakings. We will welcome partners in our endeavors, but understand one thing, and understand it clearly-
We will live on our feet, not on our knees, and nothing shall change that fact.

That Good Old-Time Religion
May 7, 2009 Political
Hawaii has in the state legislature now, a bill that would recognize Islam as one of the world’s great religions. Yes, I said it, and the idiots in the state government apparently mean it- somehow they failed to read the Constitution- you know, the little niggling part in there about keeping church and state separate- just kind of keeping a little impartiality between the two. I’m just saying.
What could they be thinking, or perhaps in their case, smoking? I could be wrong, but I do not remember any day that specifically celebrates Christianity or Judaism. Oh we have the holidays, but then so does Islam- you know, Ramadan and such, But this is different. This is wrong. I am guessing that because of their location, these islands believe that they are more independent than some states, and their mindset is certainly different. Perhaps they thought that they could please the great Barama by celebrating what is/ isn’t/ is/ isn’t his religion. This part is somewhat murky, like his birth certificate.
I have to assume that the legislature in Hawaii has not read the First Amendment to the Constitution, where it specifically prohibits an establishment of any specific religion, and I do believe that naming a day to honor a specific religion to the exclusion of all other religions really gets into the wrong side of the First Amendment and its intent.
Now, if Hawaii has decided, like a child, that there are some laws that it doesn’t want to follow, well, Hawaii is a state the U.S. could shed with little sense of loss, except for Pearl Harbor- a place all of the Hawaii legislators should go see, if they have forgotten all about it. Now, imagine if you will, Pearl Harbor without the United States protecting the islands. Gee, they would be talking a foreign language in no time. Perhaps, given their mixed heritage, they wouldn’t find the language such a big thing, but they might find that the other government’s rules to be more restrictive than they might like.
This “law” serves no purpose except to suck up to the muslim religion. Why they would even want to do this is beyond me- I have nothing against Islam, but there are two older religions that get short shrift with our legislators time after time, Judaism, and Christianity. You might be excused for thinking that the older religions “bore” these people and they are fascinated with the “religion du jour”. The other reason is that islam scares these people and they feel they are hedging their bets by toadying up to this religion. Any way you cut it, what these “lawmakers” are being dishonest and hypocritical, but what do you expect from politicians?
So now September 24 will be designated as “Islam Day”, as the proposal was rammed through the legislative process despite the objections of two Republican lawmakers, Fred Hemmings and Sam Slom, and one Democrat, Josh Green, who said he was uncomfortable with government being involved with religions.
The supporters of this asinine law point to the fact that both Christmas and Good Friday are state holidays, even though they are both Christian holy days. They are rank and cowardly hypocrites who can’t even get their reasoning arranged in a logical fashion. If they wanted to do something along those lines of reasoning, they might have designated the first day of Ramadan as a state holiday- that would have made sense with respect to the reasoning they offered, but this- and so close to 9/11, this is an insult.
” I for one believe we should honor the Islamic faith as we do other faiths… It merely honors the faith, nothing more, ” said Sen. Gary Hooser (D, Kauai- Niihau)
What a morally bankrupt man, but apparently he is typical of these ideologically bereft lawmakers. If this is the best they can do regarding laws in Hawaii, they are not serving the people of that state well. This Senator lies, because they are NOT honoring Islam as they do other faiths- they are giving this faith a new, special day- did they give one to Judaism? To Christianity? No.
Nowhere is there anything said about honoring the Hindu faith, or Buddhism, or Greek Orthodox, all religions deserving great respect, and you know what? NONE of these other religions advocate waging war on unbelievers, killing them if they won’t convert, but Islam does. There are verses in the Koran that do say just that- yea, you bet, that’s a religion that preaches love for one’s neighbor, but only if that neighbor is a muslim. Now that’s a religion that really should be honored BEFORE you honor a peaceful religion? Give me a freakin’ break.
All the muslims in the world, and so few will condemn the actions of these allegedly “apostate” adherents of a “splinter” sect of a branch of Islam? Read that sentence again- it reads like someone apologizing for the actions of a member of the family they feel they must explain away, but not condemn. Look, if my brother commits murder, I do not protect him, for he has done wrong- I condemn his acts with strong words, and I turn him over to the authorities. That is what one does- unless they are Islamic, apparently. Sure there are a few voices raised, but not enough, not nearly enough.
And that is why this day that Hawaii has created is offensive- it goes against the Constitution. They have created a special day, not directly connected by history or tradition with regards to Islam, and decided that this unconnected day should be special for one group.
What’s next Hawaii? A special day for the KKK? You could use the same logic.

I Am Woman, Hear Me Not
May 3, 2009 Political
The silence was deafening, the sound of one hand clapping, as Miss California gave the reply heard around the blogosphere to the question posed by that nobody with a notorious name, Perez Hilton.
Miss California was asked how she felt about Gay marriage, and she gave an honest reply. The trouble is, it was not a politically correct reply. Her reply was that she thought that marriage was between a man and a woman, which was how she had been raised, but it hit a sour note with the woman hating Hilton, who, I am guessing, is gay. Now, he/ she can be a hater all he/ she wants, but Hiltie was a judge in this contest, and says in his/ her videoblog, that that answer is what cost Miss Prejean the crown for Miss America.
It really is such a shame that someone is punished in this country for free and frank (that means Honest, Pervez) speech. Free speech is something you do not have to like, but you DO have to respect, if you want this country to remain a great country.
Now Hilton is free to hate what she said, but as a judge, he shouldn’t have used his/? judgeship as a cudgel against Miss California. Still, this continues a pattern of sexual abuse and verbal battery of women who are not liberals. I was surprised, but only mildly, that none of the women’s groups that seemingly espouse feminine causes said ANYTHING- not one thing.
Indeed, the Miss America officials attempted to have Miss California recant, or at least “dress Up” her remarks, much like Joe Biden has to “clarify” his remarks. There’s a world of difference here, however- Joey misspeaks chronically, while Miss California knew what she was saying, and said it concisely.
Miss California is not the first woman who Womens Groups have hung out to dry, forsaking their false call of “Sisterhood”, for the hypocritical one of “Liberal Sister”- no, Sarah Palin should have been embraced by at least one of these groups. You might think these groups, which lie when they say they are all about the freedom of speech, and “those other pesky rights, (except the one with guns)”, might have at least said that while they do not agree with Governor Palin’s stance on many issues, they welcome the fact that women have come so far that they feel comfortable cursing her as she runs for national office.
These alleged women could not even have the good grace to do that. Instead, they go after Gov. Palin’s daughter, because she committed the unpardonable sin of becoming a pregnant Republican. Just because the parent preaches abstinence, does not ensure that the child will listen. But did these nurturing women forgive Bristol, and give her moral support in her time of need? Did they rally around the flagpole of a shared heritage? Oh hell no- despite the fact that Bristol made a choice, it was not the choice that these women wanted- they wanted, I guess, the blood of a dead baby, probably to sacrifice on the altars of sisterhood. The witches in Macbeth have nothing on these creatures.
This, of course, is the feminist version of their contribution to stifling free speech- if they do not agree with you and the comments you make, you will hear the unearthly screech of the Harpy Platoon descending to verbally rip you to pieces, probably along with the Gay (but not happy) Air Force, and,of course, abetted by every other civilization- splitting minority that feels a grudge coming on, just because you might have an independent thought.
Here’s a revolutionary thought, ladies and ?s- you do not have to like everything I say, but neither do I have to say everything you want to hear. THAT is what is truly free speech- get used to it, because I have run flat out of tact and diplomacy, and from now on, I WILL call a skank a skank. And, Wow-
You sure are unpleasant people.
