Justice Provides Solution To Water Boarding Issue

The issue of water boarding has been a hot topic over the past few months. Nancy Pelosi was caught lying about her knowledge of the practice and there have been debates as to whether it constitutes torture. Some people say it is not and others say it is. Some people are volunteering to have it done and saying it was torture while some members of the military say they have been water boarded several times and it was “no big deal.” Until Congress codifies the issue and specifically states water boarding is torture then the debate will continue.
However, the Justice Department has provided a way out of the issue without putting Pelosi in jail or prosecuting anyone involved in the issue. Just tell them not to do it again. Yes, telling them not to do it again is satisfactory adjudication for the Justice Department.
Last November three thugs from the Black Panther Party were involved in voter intimidation and they violated the voter rights act. The actions of the baton wielding thugs were captured on film and left no doubt that they were involved in intimidating voters in Philadelphia. The career lawyers at Justice were prepared to bring sanctions against the three men but the political appointees of Obama have put a halt to that.
Justice Department political appointees overruled career lawyers and ended a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense of wielding a nightstick and intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place last Election Day, according to documents and interviews.

A Justice Department spokesman on Thursday confirmed that the agency had dropped the case, dismissing two of the men from the lawsuit with no penalty and winning an order against the third man that simply prohibits him from bringing a weapon to a polling place in future elections.
The department was “successful in obtaining an injunction that prohibits the defendant who brandished a weapon outside a Philadelphia polling place from doing so again,” spokesman Alejandro Miyar said. “Claims were dismissed against the other defendants based on a careful assessment of the facts and the law.”

“In my opinion, the men created an intimidating presence at the entrance to a poll,” he declared. “In all my experience in politics, in civil rights litigation and in my efforts in the 1960s to secure the right to vote in Mississippi … I have never encountered or heard of another instance in the United States where armed and uniformed men blocked the entrance to a polling location.”
Mr. Bull said the “clear purpose” of what the Panthers were doing was to “intimidate voters with whom they did not agree.” He also said he overheard one of the men tell a white poll watcher: “You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker.”
He called their conduct an “outrageous affront to American democracy and the rights of voters to participate in an election without fear.” He said it was a “racially motivated effort to limit both poll watchers aiding voters, as well as voters with whom the men did not agree.” Washington Times
This is the kind of justice that is given in the Obama America when it involves minorities who support him but are breaking the law. Is there any doubt what would have happened if the skinheads had been intimidating blacks at polling places? The political appointees would not be telling them not to do it again.
I guess we have a precedent now. A minority thug robs a bank, tell him not to do it again. A minority thug deals drugs, tell him not to do it again.
I would not have let these punks bother me. They like to talk big and act bad but having a baton shoved where the sun does not shine tends to make one less violent.
Funny thing is, I have never seen this kind of intimidation in polling places that are outside of the major cities that liberals run. My polling place was peaceful and people respected each other even though we were voting for different people.
Proper upbringing, it makes a difference.
As for the Black Panthers, just another Democrat organization of racist thugs who are not worth the bullet they so rightfully deserve.

Can You Botox a Brain?

Nancy Pelosi is still trying to walk back, re- define, parse her words, and find out just what the definition of the word “is” is, apparently, all regarding her knowledge of enhanced interrogations and when she knew about them.
Her behavior in attempting to explain, reminds me of some conversations I had with my daughter when she was sixteen, and rebelling against authority. There would be vociferous denials, after which, in excruciating slowness, the truth would finally emerge, in detail contrary to her earlier protestations. Now, my daughter has thankfully matured, and grown a set of brains that I am proud of, and even she would shake her head at the juvenile antics of the Speaker of the House, our number three in line, behind (shudder) Biden, and of course, our supreme leader, Barama the Mouth.
That she can blame this fiasco on her leader is just poetic justice, because Barama released the selected memos to keep embarrassing former President Bush, and so people wouldn’t realize that he was stealing the country, but in the process, the law of unintended consequences surfaced, and ensnared Pelosi in her blatant lies and medication induced ramblings.
Peter Goss, the then House Intelligence Committee Chairman, and later CIA chief officer, was briefed at the same time, and says that they were specifically told that water boarding was used against Abu Zubaydah, who was one of three prisoners subjected to these methods. She WAS told- now, if she was so drunk, or medicated that she didn’t remember, she should just say so and be done with it, but to be as blatantly hypocritical as to know in 2002 that water boarding was used, and not say a thing, then to now, in 2009, shrilly call for a “truth” commission ( a rather communistic reference, huh?), is so blatantly two faced, I have to wonder which one she applies makeup to in the mornings.
I have always wondered just how she got the power to be speaker of the House- it couldn’t be brains, as we have noted, so there must be another reason. No, I do not think she went all Monica Lewinsky on her fellow members of the House- the screams would be heard across the Mississippi, but perhaps she employed some sort of extortionate method, because, lets face it- she is not smart enough to do this on her own, nor is she, I believe, conscious enough half the time.
Now, here’s the deal- she isn’t the only liberal who lies like a prostitute in the headlights- the list is legion, and I find it beyond any words I have to describe how clueless and in locked goose step the left is. Nan’s lies won’t bother her base, for they are just as dishonest as she, with their mantra, “The ends justify the means”.
No- character counts, and the vast majority of the American people will see through this farce that liberalism is, and the blowback from the accumulated lies from Barama, Dodd, Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Conyers, Waters, and others will come back to bite them in the butt.
I will look forward to a “Truth Commission” of our own, when we regain power in 2010. I know this will be a full time job, due to the sheer amount of lies, but it will be so satisfying, and like they say Mz. Speaker-

Texas Girl’s Death 100% Preventable

Melanie Goodwin was found early Tuesday morning, she had been beaten and her body set on fire. Police are looking for a man named Ernesto Reyes, the last person she was seen with before her body was discovered. The written story does not indicate it but Fox TV reported Reyes is an ILLEGAL who has a criminal record. Since he has a criminal record the government was aware of him and since he is an ILLEGAL, this death was 100% preventable.
The police will, no doubt, eventually locate Reyes and if he is found guilty he will probably get the death penalty since Texas is a state with no problem using that form of punishment. If Reyes is the one who did this there is no doubt that he should receive the toughest penalty possible and the death penalty is the way to go. However, if he is in fact ILLEGAL then the federal government is complicit in the death of Goodwin.
The government allows ILLEGALS in here and does little to stop the tide of people who cross our borders in violation of the law, a law that our elected officials took an oath to uphold. Unfortunately, many of those politicians, from both parties, work against efforts to enforce the law and pander to the law breakers.
American citizens expect their government to protect them. The willful disregard for the law by those elected to uphold it makes our country less safe and leaves us open to these kinds of horrific crimes. Ms. Goodwin’s family should sue the government for the wrongful death of this young lady.
If this were my daughter or wife Reyes might just get 7.62mm punishment.
UPDATE: The Florida Masochist commented that Reyes is here legally, according to a news report. He has a criminal record but did not meet the requirement to be deported. If that requirement included his crimes or if he had been jailed instead of released, she would be alive. This was still 100% preventable.
