Obama Says No Need To Stock Up On Guns

Barack Obama must be aware that since he was elected to the presidency the sale of guns and ammunition has gone through the roof. Many gun stores report a 50-60% increase in sales, gun shows have more people than at any time in recent memory and ammunition supply places report that they are out of ammo and most is on back order. This is all because Americans are aware of Barack Obama’s stance on gun control.
But Barry says not to worry. He said that people did not need to stock up on guns because he has no intention of taking them.
“I believe in common-sense gun safety laws, and I believe in the second amendment,” Obama said at a news conference. “Lawful gun owners have nothing to fear. I said that throughout the campaign. I haven’t indicated anything different during the transition. I think people can take me at my word.”
Before it was common sense gun laws. When that did not fly it changed to safety laws and who is to say exactly what that means and according to what person’s definition of safety? Obama’s common sense laws have led his hometown to have countless murders by gun, guns that are illegal to possess in a city from which this so called gun friendly man hails (and served in office). Barack Obama has a long history of abusing the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. There can be no doubt about this regardless of what he or his kool aid drinking followers say. Obama’s legislative record tells a much different story than the one he fabricated in order to get elected. He did not believe that it was an individual right and he sided with DC in the Heller case. It was not until after the SCOTUS ruled that gun ownership was an idividual right that Obama told us he has believed that all along (remember, if he says “like I have always said” or “I have not changed my position” then he is lying). Take him at his word? All of his promises come with expiration dates, just ask his kooky left wingnuts who are not real happy with him.

But National Rifle Association spokesman Andrew Arulanandam said it’s not Obama’s words — but his legislative track record — that has gun-buyers flocking to the stores.
“Prior to his campaign for president, his record as a state legislator and as a U.S. Senator shows he voted for the most stringent forms of gun control, the most Draconian legislation, gun bans, ammunition bans and even an increase in federal excise taxes up to 500 percent for every gun and firearm sold,” Arulanandam said.
Obama answered “yes” in 1996 to a questionnaire from an Illinois group on whether he supported a handgun ban. But he later said a staffer filled out that answer and he did not support a ban.
Obama said that a staffer filled out the questionnaire but it was filled out in Obama’s handwriting. That is a talented staffer indeed. Obama wants to take guns away because an unarmed citizenry is more easily controlled by government. This government is getting more and more out of control and it will get worse under Obama. He wants complete control so he can run his Socialist Utopia and he knows that the armed among us will not take his crap.
It should surprise no one that Obama will ignore the Constitution because he is doing so right now. He has not proven he is a natural born citizen and thus will be an illegitimate president. Maybe this is the perfect ruse for him. He can impose all kinds of things and then when the armed take the country back he can say that it is not his fault because he is not really qualified for the job. He can then throw whomever failed to properly vet him right under the bus.
If Obama is telling you there is no need to stock up on guns then you need to stock up on guns. He and the idiots who want to remove guns from society believe they know better than you how to live your life. They believe they are smarter than you and they should be deciding on dangerous things like guns. This is what Peter Hamm of the Brady Center against Gun Violence had to say:
“Anyone who thinks they need to rush out and buy a firearm clearly has not been paying attention to how quickly we make progress on this issue. We don’t think these are first-time buyers. We think they are people who already have more than enough guns at their homes to protect themselves and are buying more.”
These are people who already have more than enough guns. Who is this jerk to decide how many is enough? Does this guy go around telling people they have too many cars, or too many pair of shoes, or too many clothes? If people have the money and they want to buy lots of guns then who is Hamm (or anyone else) to say that they already have enough? This is the same philosophy that liberals use when they take you money in taxes. You already have enough so we will take some from you.
Barak Obama must think that he has credibility because he won an election. He lost his credibility a long time ago and were it not for white guilt and dreamy eyed liberals (coupled with blacks voting for race) he would be another name in a history book. His word is his bond but only to the idiots who supported him. The rest of us know better.
But Barack Says there is nothing to worry about and that we do not need to buy guns. He even says he is all in favor of gun ownership. Yes, Barack Obama is a friend to the gun owner. I don’t believe that for a minute.
And judging from the sales of guns and ammo, neither do a lot of others.

Barney Frank: Plenty Of Rich People We Can Tax

Barney Frank (who looks and sounds more like Barney Rubble), the Congressman who had a sexual relationship with one of the guys in charge of one of the GSEs (extreme conflict of interest) and who bears a great deal of responsibility for the financial woes of this country is out with his next great idea to fix the economy. Frank says it is time for the government to start spending money in order to get things moving and then he said we should not worry about the deficits which should be put on the back burner. Deficit spending is one of the major problems we have in this country. Barney Frank is a typical liberal who ignores his role in causing economic troubles and then decides the way to fix the problem is to spend even more money that we do not have.
Don’t worry though, he has a way to pay for that spending. Barney Frank said that down the road we need to increase taxes and that there are plenty of rich people we can tax to get some of the money back. A tax and spend liberal, as if that should be a surprise. It is amazing that he caused the problem and then he wants to add to it but will fix it by confiscating even more money from rich people.

I have news for you folks, the rich pay most of the taxes in this country. The fact is, there are not enough rich people to pay the IOUs that Congress has written. There are far more people in the middle class and these are the people who will ultimately end up paying for this mess.

Wouldn’t A True Patriot Spare Three Minutes?

There have been accusations that Barack Obama is unpatriotic and that he cares little about the country. He was not wearing a Flag pin until it became an issue and he did not place his hand over his heart when respect for the flag was called for. Obama wants to bring our troops home in defeat but we are not supposed to question his patriotism. I don’t think the wearing of a Flag pin makes one a patriot. Obama has one and he is no patriot. Failure to render proper respect shows a lack of knowledge or lack of willingness, neither of which is acceptable. And yes, I am questioning his patriotism and I don’t care if he likes it or not.
Wouldn’t a true patriot spare three minutes for the National Anthem? I just want to know if a true patriot would do something unpatriotic because it would cost about three minutes?
You see, the Obama campaign canceled the singing of the National Anthem at an event in New Hampshire because they needed to make room for another speaker.
[Londonderry senior Zach] Bencal, who sings the anthem for a number of school events and is actively involved in local community theatre [sic], had been contacted by the Obama campaign to sing the anthem. He agreed to do so, then was told later in the evening the anthem had been scratched from the program. Bencal said he was told by the campaign the decision was a simple programming change to make room for another speaker. Union Leader
How important could that person have been that a song which lasts about three minutes had to be scratched to make room? Did this important speaker only talk for three minutes or did this person speak for much longer than that? Why would the addition of another speaker cancel the singing of our National Anthem?
There was no reason whatsoever for canceling the singing of our National Anthem at this event and the very act of doing so demonstrates that Obama and his campaign have little respect for this country or its anthem. The three minutes it would have taken to sing the song is too much of an inconvenience for Obama and his band of unpatriotic cretins.
There is just no logical reason to do this and I can only conclude that Obama is unpatriotic. I welcome any other views that might be able to better explain it because it seems to me that they could have cut the campaign music and kept the Anthem, if time was really a concern.
Everyday on military posts throughout the world American men and women in uniform stop to pay respect to the flag when it is raised in the morning and when it is lowered in the evening. The songs played vary by service but this is done, twice a day, each and every day.
Why is it the man who wants to lead the troops as Commander in Chief can’t find three minutes to honor the Flag they fight for and are carried under when they make the ultimate sacrifice?
Obama is not ready to lead.

Despite Campaign Claims Hillary Lied About Bosnia

The Clinton campaign is in damage control mode because the queen herself has been caught in a big lie. Hillary discusses a trip she and her daughter went on accompanied by Cheryl Crow and Sinbad. She said they were shot at by snipers and that they had to run to awaiting cars. The biggest problem with all this is that it is fabricated. Sinbad recalls no such thing and there is video footage of Chelsea and the queen walking across the tarmac smiling and waving. Hillary lied to people about the experience and her campaign is now saying that she misspoke. Some advisers are saying that it is hard to remember all the details when there have been so many trips and it was so long ago. Bull crap! If you are shot at you will never forget it. If you have to take evasive maneuvers you will never forget it. If your child is in that kind of danger you will never forget it. Hillary Clinton lied and that is the plain truth.
Interestingly, the media is just now picking up on this as if Hillary only said it for the first time. Clinton has been telling this story for some time. Howard Wolfson says that Clinton has told the story many times but misspoke this once. Once again I must say bull crap! I wrote about this in December of last year and Newsday.com had the story which described her harrowing experience. I knew Hillary was lying then just as I know she is lying now.
They will say anything to get elected. Hillary is a liar and she got caught. The thing is, she believes that since she is a Clinton all she has to do is change the story and it will be OK. After all, that is what she and her lying husband did for years. Their supporters are a bunch of mush for brains liberals who do not have the ability to see through them. Most Clinton supporters would stand in line to do to Bill what Monica did and they would proudly boast about it.
The problem now is that Obama has a pretty big following and the media is in love with the guy. Clinton stock has been falling faster than Bill’s pants in a Hooters and she is not able to get away with some of the same crap as she did before. Bill is not even looked at as favorably as he once was. One can only hope that this campaign is the end of their prominence and we will not have to see them anymore. Of course, I hope they do not depart before the Democratic Party is destroyed by its primary.
Say it with me Clinton followers. “Hillary lied. Hillary lied. Hillary lied.” Now, read this aloud a few times; “I am wee Todd.”
Nothing new to the rest of us but you folks have been a little dense. Some still are as evidenced by how they are lying to help her out of this mess.
Don’t get me wrong, I definitely feel as if Hillary is the one in that relationship who would confront danger. Bill showed what he was made of when it came time to serve in the military. Hillary might hate the armed forces but she knows how to mix it up when she does not get her way. In any event, she flat out lied about her Bosnia mission.
If she had been shot at don’t you think we would have heard about it then?
If Bill had not attacked Bosnia without UN permission (unilaterally is how the left puts it) Hillary and Chelsea might not have been there in the first place. It is also interesting to note that Hillary said if it was too dangerous for the president they sent her. He visited there before she did…

Bill Clinton; “Tell the Truth”

If there is anything in politics that rings hollow it is a politician telling people to tell the truth. It is particularly disturbing that lying to Congress carries a five year jail term yet Congress lies to us, their employers, all the time. Most disturbing of all discussions of the truth is when Bill Clinton admonishes people and demands that they tell the truth. Given Bill Clinton’s inability to tell the truth, one would wonder why he demands it of others.
At a speech Bill Clinton lashed out at pro life people in the crowd. One person in particular, seems to have riled the former president. Clinton is heard admonishing the person and then says “Tell the truth, tell the truth. You want to make criminals out of women and their doctors.” He then goes on to say that is what pro life people want but will not say because it is not politically tenable. Of course, he then goes on to tell how Hillary has done the most to limit abortions.
Any time Bill Clinton yells “tell the truth” I wonder where his head is. I assume it is in a body cavity that has the aroma of E. coli and that the fumes are clouding his ability to think. Clinton does not know what the truth is. He has been caught in one lie after another and he and his wife believe that they should lie, lie, lie and deny, deny, deny. If they get caught they will have watered down the charges sufficiently by then. There is no way to deny Clinton is a liar. He lied on national TV and he admitted to that lie. He was convicted of lying under oath so the public record is pretty clear on the issue.
In addition to his blatant hypocrisy, Clinton makes accusations that smack in the face of reality. No one wants to make women and doctors criminals. What people want is to outlaw abortion. This issue was decided by the SCOTUS and they got it wrong. Those who support abortions like to point the decision out but forget that somehow the Court was able to find the word abortion in the Constitution. It is not there and it never has been. The same people who claim that abortion is a Constitutional right are the ones who want to ban guns even though the “right to keep and bear arms” is contained in the Constitution (don’t let them fool you with their pro gun talk while campaigning, they oppose gun ownership).
Regardless, abortion is not an issue that should have ever risen to the federal level. This is a state issue and should have stayed at the state level. However, outlawing abortion is not a matter of trying to make any person a criminal. It is designed to make the act illegal. If a woman and her doctor decided to conduct an abortion they would be guilty of breaking the law just as doctors who disclose protected health information are guilty of violating the law. No one ever claimed that enacting HIPAA was an attempt to make doctors criminals. Laws are designed to place limits on the acts the people of a society may engage in. Speed limits are designed to keep people driving at a safe speed but no one suggests that enacting speed limits is an attempt to make all drivers criminals. Certainly, no woman is ILLEGAL because Hillary told us that while pandering for votes.
The debate over whether an unborn child is a blob of cells or a life is ongoing and it is a debate for another post. Suffice it to say that after conception, the “product of conception” has human DNA. The Bible tells us that the life is in the blood; blood begins to flow about 14 days after conception. Regardless of how science and theology debate this issue, one thing is certain; politicians have already weighed in and told us that an unborn child is a human being. They did this when they passed laws that allowed them to charge an assailant with two crimes when a mother and her unborn child are injured or killed. Scott Peterson was charged with two murders when he killed his pregnant wife.
Bill Clinton and his band of merry thieves are entitled to believe what they want and there are those who still worship the ground this cretin walks on. He will never lose credibility with a certain crowd no matter how much he lies and no matter how much he demands others tell the truth. He is a typical liberal who believes the rules do not apply to him but by God you had better follow them. The Clintons are certainly entitled to believe in abortion and they are free to believe that a product of conception is worthless. I know that they are both products of conception and I find them to have no value.
When I see Bill and Hillary Clinton I wish their mothers had believed in abortion and exercised that option. They are good examples of why some animals eat their young.
