Looking for the Apology from Jackass Murtha
Aug 10, 2007 Uncategorized
When a group of United States Marines were accused of murder Jackass Murtha had them all tried and convicted long before charges were filed, long before any facts were entered and long before the Marines had their right to a fair trial. Murtha took it upon himself to call these brave warriors murderers. Not only did he prejudice the case he also tarnished their good names. Jackass Murtha exhibited absolutely no leadership traits when he decided to convict our war fighters in the court of public opinion. Many of us already knew that something was wrong with the case and hard work was done on behalf of these brave men.

Quit Yer Bitching in New York
Aug 7, 2007 Uncategorized
The New York City council passed a stupid law that outlawed the use of the word “nigger” or as they call it, the “N” word. This is ridiculous because it cannot be enforced. The government is not allowed to make laws that take away a person’s free speech and, no matter how detestable that word is, people are free to use it.
Now those geniuses in New York are trying to pass legislation that would make it illegal to use the words bitch or ho. Once again, this will be unenforceable so it begs the question; why pass it then? Of course, places have passed gun laws that violate the Constitution and gotten away with it…
In any event, why are elected leaders wasting time passing stupid laws that cannot be enforced? Why are they acting like we need them to act as our nannies? The words are offensive to some and not to others and people are protected from government doing such things. How long will it be before the government finds words offensive just to shut people up? Imagine if the folks in New York decided that the word Jesus or Mohammad or Republican or Democrat was offensive? And suppose that one day they get one of these laws to stick. This is certainly a slippery slope.
It certainly seems to me that New Yorkers have more to bitch about than what words they are allowed to use. Maybe the ho’s in office there can get to work and do something constructive…

Watch Out for Sneaky Immigration Bills
Aug 5, 2007 Uncategorized
The Senate tried to force amnesty down our throats just a few short months ago. They were unsuccessful but that did not stop them from reintroducing an amnesty bill that almost made it through. Of course, there were a bunch of dirty tricks and other ploys designed to usurp the will of the American people. This bill continues to have the backing of the President and many Democrats. It would appear as if the Republicans heard America loud and clear because they have now turned against the amnesty and even John McCain has begun singing a different tune.
The fact that this initiative was defeated twice will not stop those who want to force it through. The Congress is famous for adding unpopular items to other bills in order to get them through. The minimum wage was added to a war spending bill because the donks knew it would not pass on its own merits. They continually add items that they want but cannot pass the correct way so they can slip one by without having to answer for the bad items they give us.
The amnesty bill has reared its head again but now different items are being added to separate legislation so as to piece meal this into law. Kennedy and his idiots are hell bent on getting the US taxpayer to pay for services for the illegals who cut his grass, serve his meals and ensure his pool stays clean. They House has already cheated on a vote in order to give ILLEGALS more services paid for by the US taxpayer. This will not stop until the jackasses in Congress have given our country away.
I have always believed that taxes were a necessary evil but that they were way too high and that the government wastes the money it gets because there are few people serving who have experience managing budgets and they all have no fiscal responsibility. They are spending someone else’s money and thy act like it. I have often wondered about people who will barricade themselves and risk death by not paying their taxes. However, I now believe that we will not be able to get this country back on firm ground until we either vote every incumbent out of office and make our demands clear to those we put in or take up arms against those who oppress us with the tyranny of an oppressive, over-taxing government.
Let’s start by voting them ALL out of office. If we do not succeed then we will need to have another revolution. It all boils down to us retaking this country or watching as the ILLEGALS take it.

With Democrats, it all Depends on Who Steals the Vote
Aug 3, 2007 Uncategorized
Back in 2000 George Bush won the Presidency by defeating Al Gore in a hotly contested election. The results were not known for more than a month because the Democrats demanded recount after recount and things ended up in the courts mostly because there were different vote counting procedures in the various counties and only selected (heavily Democratic) counties were recounted. A number of recounts have all determined that George W Bush won the election but this entire fiasco has been a sore spot for Democrats who think Bush stole the election.
For years I have heard about how dishonest Republicans were with regard to elections and Michael Moore had an army of people with video cameras to film any events where Republicans tried to steal elections. Interestingly enough, while there were dirty tricks on both sides, the Democrats had much more on their side. Couple this with the way they stole an election in Washington and it is easy to see that their accusations were misplaced.
Step into the present and we have the Democrats back in control of Congress after running a brilliant campaign about nothing. They have accomplished little and have an approval rating that is 3% with a margin of error of (+/-) 3%. They could have an approval of 0% which would still be too high. The Democrats, who claim Bush stole the election based on voting fraud engaged in their own bit of voting fraud last night in order to try and give ILLEGALS services paid for with our hard earned tax dollars. The vote was in the favor of Republicans (who must have learned how people feel about ILLEGALS) at 215-213. The Democrats did not follow procedures and did not go by the official tally. They just changed the vote to 214-214. The Republicans were livid so the Democrats just said they would have a do over. Then, they allowed their members to change votes to give them the win. It is obvious they cheated and ignored the rules they put in place in January. I always said to never, ever, trust a Democrat.
Republicans walked out of the House in protest. Today there are more problems with electronic voting equipment and while it might just be technical problems, given last night’s games and departure from established procedures, who is to say the donks are not trying to manipulate the system so people can not see what is going on. If the list of who voted on what is not displayed and the vote tally is not up there it can be manipulated very easily. I realize they had votes ling before computers and that is fine. They could have gone to a paper ballot so there would be an accurate record.
Perhaps the evil Republicans at Diebold fixed the machines to register wins for the right. Maybe big oil had its hands in there skewing the results to the right. Maybe Dick Cheney called his pals at Halliburton and asked them to manipulate the machines. Surely it has to be a Republican dirty trick that made the votes come out against the Left and their twisted ideas.
All the mess finally ended because they recessed for the month of August to recuperate from the 30 or so days they have worked this year. I hate to see them on vacation because we pay them to work but we are safer when they are not in session. I just wonder how they reconcile the fact they are going on a month long recess while we are at war and yet they criticized the Iraqis for doing the same thing.
The Congress can carp about Iraqi milestones and progressing too slowly and they can complain that we will never bring democracy to that country but it is obvious the Iraqis learned quickly how to recess for vacation just like their friends in the the American Congress.
They are learning from us after all.

I am Safer Because of eBay’s New Gun Policy
Aug 1, 2007 Uncategorized
Some years ago the Baltimore Sun decided that it would no longer take ads for guns or any item associated with guns. They decided that the sale of guns in newspapers was contributing to the gun violence in Baltimore and they were being proactive in doing their part to help. These many years later the number of people killed by guns in Baltimore is nearing record levels and there has been little reduction over the years since the Sun decided to be civic minded. They seem to have missed the part about criminals not obeying the law and somehow figured that people who commit street crime read the paper…
Now enter eBay. They have decided that they will not sell gun parts in order to make us safer:
Hello everyone…In mid-August, we will be updating our Firearms, Weapons and Knives Policy to place more restrictions around gun-related items. Once these changes take effect, we will prohibit listings of any firearm part that is required for the firing of a gun. This includes items like bullet tips, brass casings and shells, barrels, slides, cylinders, magazines, firing pins, trigger assemblies, etc. Please read the Firearms, Weapons and Knives Policy for more details on our current policy.
As you may know, eBay does not allow the listing of any items which are regulated by individual states or the federal government; however, there are still a large number of firearm-related parts that are legal and are widely available in retail stores. These items have also historically been allowed on eBay.
After learning that some items purchased on eBay may have been used in the tragedy at Virginia Tech in April 2007, we felt that revisiting our policies was not only necessary, but the right thing to do. After much consideration, the Trust & Safety policy team – along with our executive leaders at eBay Inc. – have made the decision to further restrict more of these items than federal and state regulations require.
This new update continues to encourage safety among our community members and brings our policies in the U.S. and Canada in closer alignment with our existing policies in other markets around the globe.
Sincerely,
Matt Halprin
Vice President, Trust & Safety
Matt Halprin is from Trust and Safety. I don’t trust him and he certainly can’t keep me safe. eBay has decided that since the mentally deranged kid at Virginia Tech might have used gun parts he bought on their site that they must put an end to the violence and make us safer. Would Matt and the rest of the safety patrol stop allowing cell phones to be sold if they found out some Muslim terrorist group was buying them to make bomb detonators? Will Matt and the safety squad stop selling deep fryers, hot dog machines, and any other item that cooks food in an unhealthy manner so as to save us from the plight of heart disease (which by the way kills more people than guns do).
I have to wonder what motivates a company to take such a stance. Perhaps it is their desire to help mankind but more likely they are either anti gun or got bad press over the VT issue, or both. In any event they are not very sincere about the safety and trust issue. Search eBay for porn, pot pipes, bongs, and vibrators. I realize that several of these items are not dangerous but some of them are and encourage breaking the law through drug use. It is difficult to believe the trust and safety guy when his site allows items that are not suitable for children to see (safety) or items that will allow, and even encourage, people to break the law (trust). eBay is concerned about its reputation because of VT so I hope some drug user does not get high using an eBay purchased bong or pot pipe and then watch some eBay purchased porno while using eBay purchased penis enlargement items and then sodomize someone with a vibrator. eBay would have to remove a lot of things after that.
So while eBay is removing the gun related items to make us safe, trust them to continue allowing truly questionable items. Just another reason I will never shop on eBay. I hope all gun owners will avoid it as well.
