This “man” wants to be President?
Cleveland Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich was the only member of Congress on Monday night to vote against a symbolic resolution to recognize September 11 as a day of remembrance, extend sympathies to those who lost their lives and their families and honor emergency workers and the U.S. armed forces. Cleveland.com
This is a member of the same Congress that votes on the symbolic naming of Post Offices and other buildings in honor of people who managed not to get hit crossing the street. He linked this symbolic vote to political crap dealing with the war. If this man cannot put politics aside for this kind of vote then he should not be elected dog catcher much less President of the United States. Couple this with his assertion, on Syrian TV, that the US was engaged in an illegal occupation and it is not hard to see why we question patriotism. Talk about helping the enemy. I guess he needed to shake things up because this little gnome looking cretin will never be elected President.
What will she do for money without any donors?
“To help ensure agsint(sic) this type of situation [illegal donations from Hsu] in the future, our campaign will also institute vigorous additional vetting procedures on our bundlers, including criminal background checks,” Wolfson added. “In any instances where a source of a bundler’s income is in question, the campaign will take affirmative steps to verify its origin.” Washington Post
The Clintons have always had criminals raising money for them. Hillary was involved in raising illegal campaign donations and will likely testify in the case against her. If they start doing background checks on the people who donate to her and they exclude the money from such people she will not have much cash coming in. Where will it come from now that Bill cannot sell secrets to China? Isn’t it amazing that the Hillary campaign would institute a background check on donors when she and her hubby could not pass one themselves? I notice that she is returning the money now that the illegality was made very public…
Does Israel lack testicular fortitude?
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert continues to oppose mounting a major IDF operation in the Gaza Strip or cutting off Israeli-supplied utilities to the region, despite Tuesday’s Kassam attack on the Zikim army base[that injured 69 Israeli soldiers], The Jerusalem Post has learned. Jerusalem Post
Olmert indicates that attacking Hamas in Gaza will be playing into its hands. I guess sitting around and letting them lob rockets into Israel is not playing into their desire to kill Jews. Perhaps the 69 soldiers injured will receive sympathy from the Islamic animals who attacked them. Perhaps if Israel ignored the whining of the UN and those who complain about disproportional responses and just leveled the area where Hamas is located then there would be no problem. Perhaps Israel could just tell Hamas and the UN that if one more rocket comes across the border then Israel will attack with everything it has and will not stop until every living thing ceases to be there will be a cessation of hostility by the Islamic terrorists. If not Israel can carry out its promise and then dare anyone else to screw with them.
Then again…
The Israel Air Force jets that allegedly infiltrated Syrian airspace early last Thursday apparently bombed an Iranian arms shipment that was being transferred to Hizbullah, CNN reported Tuesday.
A ground operation may also have been part of the foray, according to the network. Neither Jerusalem nor Damascus have confirmed the report. But Damascus has denied the presence of any Israeli ground forces on its territory.Jerusalem Post
Iran and Syria have been supplying the terrorists with arms despite their denials. They arm these filthy animal brothers and then when Israel bombs the hell out of them they cry like a sissy. Israel has had about enough especially when the UN sides with the terrorists and opposes anything Israel does. The UN has done nothing about the arms shipments so Israel took matters into its own hands. They bombed a shipment of arms and, of course, the first thing that Syria does is cry that their airspace was violated. I think Israel should go in there more often to ensure the arms are not getting into the hands of those who would use them against that country.
Perhaps there is hope after all…

Which Government Displays More Failure?
Sep 10, 2007 Uncategorized
This item comes from the Federalist Patriot:
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) said that expecting Congress to pass 12 appropriations bills by the deadline at the end of September would be “unrealistic.†He blamed the Senate, which still must pass 11 of the 12. House Minority Leader John Boehner, however, blamed Democrats’ preoccupation with losing the Iraq war. “Had… Democratic leaders not devoted six months of the taxpayers’ time and money to forcing a U.S. retreat from the war against al-Qa’ida in Iraq at the expense of pressing national priorities, the Congress could have completed more of the work the American people sent us here to do.â€
It is amazing that Hoyer said that expecting Congress to pass 12 bills by the end of September is unrealistic while his very own party within that Congress expects Iraq to have met all 18 milestones by the time General Petraeus reports on the surge and the overall effort in that war torn country. Iraq has accomplished 7 or 8 of the items (depending upon who is reporting) and has reached a partially met on others. The completed stands around 45% (if the upper number is taken). That is certainly a failing grade in most books (except the public schools where it would hurt self esteem to grade a kid) but it shows progress in a difficult situation.
Iraq has met some of the goals so it is working to achieve them. They are just not able to complete them as early as our Congress wants them to. It is, as Hoyer would say, unrealistic to expect full compliance. Pulling out our troops and dropping support now would not, as some on the left claim, show the Iraqis that this is not an open ended commitment, it would actually show them that a Congressional body that is unable to meet its own expectations is being, dare I say it, unrealistic.
After all, there are problems. Hoyer complains that the Senate is slow and it is time consuming with all that goes on. Geez, you would think they are trying to run our government in the middle of a war zone or something
If they were, perhaps they would have a higher rate of success. Maybe Hoyer should ask the Iraqis how to get things done…

Another Sign We Need English as the Official Language
Sep 9, 2007 Immigration
The Democrats held a debate in Spanish at the University of Miami. The Spanish language television station sponsored it and translated questions from people who do not mind coming to America and benefiting from the kindness of its citizens and its opportunities but who do not have enough courtesy to learn the language.
Of course it is difficult for people to learn our language because there is no incentive to do so. We spend a lot of money printing every damned thing in English and Spanish and making sure that we do not inconvenience these poor folks who must think the world owes them something. It is tough because people like Bill Richardson of New Mexico think it is a shame that people are foced to listen to English:
“I’m disappointed today that 43 million Latinos in this country — for them not to hear one of their own speak Spanish, is unfortunate,” Richardson said. “In other words, Univision is promoting English-only in this debate.” Washington Post
Bill, what do you mean for them not to hear ONE OF THEIR OWN? Are you not an American Citizen? You must be because you are running for the presidency so what is this ONE OF THEIR OWN crap? This is America you jackass and English is the language that we speak here. I am disappointed that a debate was held for Spanish speaking people and that they were not forced to speak English or not participate in the process.
Richardson does not deserve to be president of this country and if he thinks that he is ONE OF THEIRS then maybe he should go to one of those tin pot Central or South American countries and run for president there.
This country needs to make English the official language and force people to learn it if they are going to live here. I am tired of people getting off crimes because they did not understand. I am tired of them working in places where they provide customer service but cannot provide any service because they do not speak ENGLISH. I am able to communicate a few things in Spanish but I absolutely refuse to do so. If I want a straw or a napkin I should not have to play charades in order to get the point across. If I wanted to use sign language I would go to an establishment that employs deaf people.
Here is what I have to say to those who feel as Richardson does:
Aprenda el inglés o sace el infierno

Gore and Edwards, Two Losers
Sep 9, 2007 Uncategorized
Gulf Stream Gore; Do as I say…
Everyone knows by now that Al Gore says Global Warming is a big issue. Notice I indicated that he says it, because he certainly does not believe it. His house uses enough energy to power a small country and Al, while telling us to use economical transportation, jets around in a Gulf Stream gas hog private jet. Yes, Gulf Stream Gore probably puts more carbon in the atmosphere by himself than most families do and yet, this is deemed OK because of the racket he has going to sell carbon offsets. I planted a tree and four shrubs last year so my SUV and other energy use is covered so Al Gore can leave me alone. Sean Hannity will air a video of Gulf Steam Gore and his wasteful ways. Shame on you Al, some polar bear is probably standing on melting ice because of you.
Edwards Wants World Anti Terror Group
John Edwards, the man who is so confident that he will be the next president he carries a list of personnel he wants in his cabinet, is proposing the formation of an international organization to fight terrorism. This will be done through shared intelligence and will involve more countries than the US. Edwards says we need to protect America and pick up where George Bush has failed. Of course, we have not had any terror attacks here since 9/11 and many of the countries that Edwards would invite have so I am unsure how they will help, especially since we share intelligence anyway. This intelligence, gained from all over the world, is the intelligence that Edwards and other Democrats say was flawed and that President Bush used to “lie” us into war. I have a feeling that an organization such as this would end up like the UN where the countries with the most horrific records on human rights end up on the human rights commission. We will have a bunch of terrorist sponsoring nations sitting on the board of the organization discussing whether or not it was terror to lop off the heads of twenty school children for being Christians.
Yeah John, this is what we need.

CIA Held Key; Bush Told Truth, Wilson Lied
Sep 8, 2007 Uncategorized
During a State of the Union Address President Bush uttered the now famous sixteen words that critics have insisted showed he exaggerated his case for going to war with Iraq. Those words; “The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa” have been a focal point for those on the left who claim that Bush lied us into war. The fact is, President Bush did not say that Iraq actually had uranium, he only stated that they tried to obtain it. This information came from several intelligence agencies but it seems that in this matter only one source was considered reliable and that source was Joe Wilson.
Joe Wilson, a deeply partisan man, was recommended by his CIA agent wife for a trip to Niger to investigate the claims. Joe Wilson went to Niger, sipped some Mint Julep tea and then wrote a report stating that Iraq did not try to get uranium and that the administration lied about it. This led to a firestorm when the administration investigated Wilson after he lied by stating that the Vice President had sent him on the trip. In the process it was learned that his wife sent him and that she was an employee of the CIA. Wilson and his wife, Plame cried foul and said her supposedly covert status had been compromised, a “crime” for which no one has ever been convicted (Libby was found guilty of perjury, not outing Plame). The Washington Post had this to say about Wilson’s report:
Wilson’s central assertion — disputing President Bush’s 2003 State of the Union claim that Iraq was seeking nuclear material in Niger — has been validated by postwar weapons inspections. And his charge that the administration exaggerated the threat posed by Iraq has proved potent.
