Obama, Misogyny Be Thy Name
Oct 31, 2008 Political
It is not hard to understand why Barack Obama has an issue with women and why he has a hatred toward the ones who make something of themselves. As a child, Barry was abandoned by his mother who went out in pursuit of her life and left him with his grandmother. His grandmother is a typical white person who, according to his book, Obama became upset with because she expressed concern over a black man that tried to mug her. She must be a racist.
Given that the one woman who should have been the biggest influence in his life, his mother, abandoned him, it is not hard to see why Barack Obama hates women.
In the primary contest his campaign was dismissive of Hillary Clinton and she was treated as a second class citizen who, despite having a lot more experience than he, was not worthy of the presidency. Barack Obama was the preordained messiah of the DNC and they, along with his campaign, treated her very badly. Many of the women who supported her resent the way that she was treated and they have vowed to vote for John McCain. Hillary has told her supporters to get behind Barack but in her heart, she wants him to lose so she can run again in 2012.
Well Hillary is just a politician and is fair game. OK, what about the female reporter he called sweetie? What was she? I think she was a professional trying to do a job but Obama did not see her that way. It is a sure bet he would not have said such a thing to a male reporter. In other words, Obama does not think women are equal to men in the workplace.
Sarah Palin, another strong woman, entered the scene when John McCain selected her to be his running mate. The Obama campaign and its surrogates in the media brutalized Palin and her family. She was treated horribly and people criticized her for not aborting her last child who she knew had Down Syndrome. It is amazing to me that the very people who scream about a woman’s choice would criticize her for choosing life. If a woman has a right to choose then it means she has a right to make either choice. The way Palin was treated was nothing more than an extension of how Obama treats women in general. He certainly could not be as brutal to Hillary because he would need her support when he won but there is no way he will ever get Palin’s support and she is out to beat him.
The latest Obama ad is dismissive of Sarah Palin.
Obama approved this message….
This ad has caused a stir among people, especially women, from all parties. The end has Palin speaking but you can’t hear the words and then it shows her winking. This is very symbolic and it shows that Obama feels that a woman’s voice should not be heard. The wink shows that Obama believes women should not be taken seriously. More specifically, Obama is showing that he thinks Palin should not be given any kind of serious consideration because, according to him, she is not serious.
Look at the ad. It says that John McCain said he might have to rely on his VP for economic advice and then it shows Palin. Obama is giving us the message that John McCain picked a woman to handle the economy and we know they can’t do it. We need a man to figure out tough things like a budget.
Never mind the fact that Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Obama and Biden combined. Oh, and did I mention she has managed and balanced a $10 billion a year state budget? Palin has more financial responsibility as Alaska’s governor than Obama and Biden do as 2 members of an elite 100 person social club known as the Senate. She has been a mayor and is a governor and she has balanced budgets. She is the leader of the Alaska National Guard, military oversight neither Obama nor Biden can claim.
But Palin is a woman and therefore she is a second class citizen to Barry. In his mind, Palin, Clinton, and all the other women should know their places. That place, to Obama, is behind the man (two paces perhaps) who should be in charge.
Strong women scare Barack Obama because of a deep rooted hatred he has for the mother that abandoned him. He did not fly off to see her when she was dying. I am surprised he flew off to see granny but perhaps he felt he owed her at least that much. And the fact that the visit would take him to Hawaii where he could convince the people with authority to seal his records was an added bonus.
The Obama ad shows that this candidate is dismissive of women. I hope a lot more people see the criticism of this ad and decide that Obama is not right for America. With his attitude toward women there are other countries to which he would be better suited.
And, his wife would not have to worry about where to shop or what to wear.

Shocking Video Of McCain Sign Thief
Oct 30, 2008 Political
A guy named Shawn Turschak was tired of someone stealing his McCain/Pailin signs so he hooked a little dog electric fence up to the sign post and then placed a camera to record the thief.
I hope that little shock taught the kid a lesson. I hope it was severe enough to hurt for a while and bad enough to make him tell his parents about it. I have to believe that this little tyke did not decide to steal the signs on his own and was probably egged on by cowardly parents who could later claim, if he were caught, that he acted on his own and they would “punish” him. If the parents were caught, they could get in trouble with the law. Cowards.
Anyway, this is a great idea and I bet it taught, at least for a little while, a very valuable lesson.

Decrying Attack Ads
Oct 21, 2008 Political
Recently, concerns have been expressed about the negative attack ads in the presidential race. Both sides are doing it but of course the whiny liberals are crying about John MCain’s attacks on The One. General Colin Powell said he did not like the tone of the ads coming from the McCain camp. He must have been too busy worshiping The Obamessiah to have heard the attacks on Sarah Palin. The problem with most of the Obama ads is that they are inaccurate.
John McCain cannot use a computer.
Well guess what … He can but
Barack cannot land a jet plane on an aircraft carrier at night.

What Campaigns’ Actions Portend
Oct 9, 2008 Political
One would think that The One, Barack Hussein Obama, has it all going for him and that he would be schmoozing with the media considering how well they have treated him. Given the way that McCain gets treated by the media one might expect him to be less inclined to treat them well.
Dean Reynolds of CBS reports on both campaigns and he has some stark contrasts:
Behind the scenes, where the public is not allowed, there are other differences.
Obama’s campaign schedule is fuller, more hectic and seemingly improvisational. The Obama aides who deal with the national reporters on the campaign plane are often overwhelmed, overworked and un-informed about where, when, why or how the candidate is moving about. Baggage calls are preposterously early with the explanation that it’s all for security reasons.
If so, I would love to have someone from Obama’s campaign explain why the entire press corps, the Secret Service, and the local police idled for two hours in a Miami hotel parking lot recently because there was nothing to do and nowhere to go. It was not an isolated case.
~snip~
The McCain folks are more helpful and generally friendly. The schedules are printed on actual books you can hold in your hand, read, and then plan accordingly. The press aides are more knowledgeable and useful to us in the news media. The events are designed with a better eye, and for the simple needs of the press corps. When he is available, John McCain is friendly and loquacious. Obama holds news conferences, but seldom banters with the reporters who’ve been following him for thousands of miles around the country. Go figure.
The McCain campaign plane is better than Obama’s, which is cramped, uncomfortable and smells terrible most of the time. Somehow the McCain folks manage to keep their charter clean, even where the press is seated.
The other day in Albuquerque, N.M., the reporters were given almost no time to file their reports after McCain spoke. It was an important, aggressive speech, lambasting Obama’s past associations. When we asked for more time to write up his remarks and prepare our reports, the campaign readily agreed to it. They understood.
Obama is disorganized, has a smelly plane that is unkept and his folks treat the press like lepers. John McCain has a neat and orderly plane, publishes schedules, is well organized and makes time for reporters and is cordial to them.
So why has the media fallen in love with Barack Hussein Obama when he treats them like dirt and why are they dismissive of McCain when he treats them well.
This is coming from a reporter in the MSM. He has been with both candidates and as amazing as it might seem, he is actually painting McCain in a better light than Obama.
Is this important? It gives us an idea of what kind of White House each would run. Obama would be haphazard, his relationship with the media would be distant (until Obama needed something), and he would have trouble with administrative functions.
McCain would have things neat and orderly, his relationship with the media would be friendly and he would not have trouble with administrative functions. McCain would run a neat and orderly White House while Obama would run one that was erratic.
It is obvious, just from the information about the two campaigns, that one of the candidates was in the military and that training is still valuable to this day.

The Debate Was Boring
Oct 8, 2008 Political
The Second Debate was boring and the moderator spent more time worrying about theatrics than letting them engage. Of course, that was his job and they did agree on a format but it seemed that the format was not going to work right out of the gate. I don’t know if there were other lights but the ones I saw were on the floor so it might have been hard for them to see the lights while looking at the people.
John McCain was strong on economic issues and he made Obama look like a child on foreign policy. Obama held his own but he kept spewing falsehoods or half truths. He said that John McCain voted against alternative energy (some number times) and that he now wants it. McCain voted against energy bills loaded with lard.
Obama is not able to tell the difference because when McCain pointed out that Obama had requested almost 1 million dollars for each day he has been in the Senate for pork, Obama said pork was only about 18 billion dollars so we should not really worry about it that much. For McCain’s part, he said we had to reign in foolish spending and then said we were going to buy down debt in the housing market. I don’t know what possessed him to say that but I hope whatever he is talking about is a good, well thought plan.
Though I think that McCain laid the groundwork for the weeks ahead by putting out a theme, I don’t think he changed any minds (or very few) and I don’t think Obama did either. People who supported McCain going in probably still do and those supporting Obama going in have not changed. Undecideds are probably still undecided and want to see the next debate and what happens in between.
It is too bad that most of this sounded like rehashed campaign stump speeches (from both of them) than a real debate of the issues.
I do agree with McCain and think people should look at the records of each man. I know Obama has a thin record but look at it anyway. Look at both of them and learn before you vote. No matter who you vote for you will be able to say you were informed. It is your choice but remember that not long ago a young, charismatic Democrat promised to only raise taxes on those making over 200k. His name was Bill Clinton and once he was in office it took him fewer than 2 months to decide things were terrible and that he had to raise taxes on everyone.
Barack Obama will do the same. There is no free lunch people and in order for him to give something he has to take something and that is not right. Don’t let Obama pull a Clinton on you because then we all have to suffer for your ignorance.
Yep, the debate was boring and no surprises. The liberal media will claim Obama won, the right will say McCain did and they will all spin it that way for a few days.
It was boring. Some of the after debate interviews had more action. Mitt Romney being told by Claire McCaskill that she spit on the earpiece that she handed to him to use. She should have been punched in her mouth. Last thing Romney needed was her saliva on the earpiece. She is a liberal, no one knows where that mouth has been.
Perhaps at the next debate they can do something to keep people awake.
