Michael Moore Is Still At It
Mar 6, 2011 Political
Michael Moore flew to Wisconsin to stir up trouble, I mean support the PUBLIC sector union employees. Moore, who thinks we have plenty of money and that the money people have is a natural resource that belongs to everyone, said that this episode has awakened a sleeping giant. Moore put it this way:
Right now the Earth is shaking and the ground is shifting under the feet of those who are in charge…
…America is not broke … Wisconsin is not broke,” Moore said. “The only thing that’s broke is the moral compass of the rulers. Wisconsin State Journal
Given the stature of the rotund movie producer the shaking ground was probably a result of his walking on it.
Moore is among the group of people who see absolutely nothing wrong with public sector union employees bargaining with politicians for the money of the taxpayer while the taxpayer has no say in the matter. To make a bad thing worse, those unions then get paid dues (which ultimately come from the taxpayer) and spend them on Democrats.
All people who pay taxes have their money taken by force and then laundered through unions so it ends up in the pockets of Democrats. It is an incestuous relationship where the taxpayer foots the bill and has no say.
Why should public sector union employees be allowed to bargain for deals that are better than the ones the people who pay them have? Why is it that the federal employees do not have these same bargaining powers and seem to get along just fine? All the things that private sector union employees have fought for regarding safety and a fair pay work environment are already in place in the public sector. How many public sector employees are in a bad way because of terrible working conditions and long hours with no pay? How many work in unsafe environments (not including inherently unsafe jobs like say, being a soldier) and are at risk every day?
NONE
The taxpayers foot the bill so there is no way that they get a fair shake in the situation.
Public sector employees do not need unions and they do not need the protection that unions are supposed to provide (I think all of them have outlived their usefulness but certainly the public sector has).
Moore also states there is plenty of money. He and people like him claim we are not broke. We borrow about 40% of the money we spend and we have a deficit that exceeds 14 TRILLION dollars. That ladies and gentlemen, is BROKE.
This is unsustainable and it would only take one of our creditors to demand payment of our debt for us to be in a dire situation.
Our debt situation is the same as Social Security. Government collected money for SS from employees and then took the money and issued a Treasury Note for it. Then government spent the money so there is no money to pay back on the notes. If SS needs money the government has to borrow it to pay our obligations. If government had left the money alone there would be plenty to pay the recipients without borrowing. But since government could not keep its greedy little hands off that money we now have to borrow and we have to force people to pay more into SS or raise the retirement age to keep the scheme solvent. There is likely no way that those who make a fair amount of money and had the sense to save will ever draw that to which they are entitled.
SS and Medicare are a huge part of the budget and we cannot meet those obligations. We continue to borrow money to meet out obligations and the deficit continues to rise.
That is absolutely the definition of BROKE.
Despite what Moore and the uneducated among us claim, we do not have enough money to pay the bills. We take in less than we spend and unless we correct that we will continue to spiral out of control.
As for the money that is in the hands of the people, it belongs to them. It does not matter how wealthy they are or what they are doing with their money because it belongs to THEM.
Just ask Michael Moore. I am sure he can tell you that he is holding on to his money.
As for the moral compass being broke. The only moral compass that is broke is the one that leads people to believe that they are entitled to the fruits of another’s labor.
The compass that points to Moore’s kitchen however, seems to be working just fine…
Cave Canem!

Michael Moore Says That The Money Of The Wealthy Is Not Theirs
Mar 3, 2011 Political
It has been demonstrated time and again that Michael Moore is a hypocrite. He is a very wealthy man who likes to keep his own money. When he feels slighted with regard to his money he gets a lawyer and he sues. He pretends to be Joe six pack and just one of the average folks.
Moore told people that the money the rich people have is not theirs, it belongs to everyone else. That is right, the money that wealthy people earn does not belong to them because Moore says it is a national resource and belongs to the people.
WTF?
In America we are supposed to be able to keep what we earn and we are supposed to be able to do with it what we want. In Moore’s Socialist dream the wealth is supposed to be confiscated and given to other people.
“They’re sitting on the money, they’re using it for their own — they’re putting it someplace else with no interest in helping you with your life, with that money. We’ve allowed them to take that. That’s not theirs, that’s a national resource, that’s ours. We all have this — we all benefit from this or we all suffer as a result of not having it,” Michael Moore told Laura Flanders of GRITtv.
“I think we need to go back to taxing these people at the proper rates. They need to — we need to see these jobs as something we some, that we collectively own as Americans and you can’t just steal our jobs and take them someplace else,” Moore concluded. Real Clear Politics
Notice that Moore does not include himself. He does not say the money does not belong to US, it is yours. No, he says their and they’re (referring to the other rich people and not himself). To Moore, he is not one of the rich people about whom he speaks. He is like everyone else.
And like most liberals he is a hypocrite who believes that he is entitled to keep what is his but the property of every other wealthy person is up for grabs.
Moore is a first class moron and it is amazing to me that there are other morons who listen to what this twit has to say.
Then again, our children are not learning because their teachers are in the streets trying to keep more of OUR money (and from what we have seen, they are not learning when the teachers are in the classroom).
The teacher’s unions are just like Moore. The money is not yours, it belongs to them…
Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Michael Moore, Closet Capitalist
Feb 9, 2011 Political
Michael Moore likes to dress in raggedy clothes and pretend he is like everyone else. He is an every man and he is out there in the fight against the establishment. To Moore, capitalism is bad and the people deserve more through wealth redistribution. But Moore has another side. He likes to make money and he does not like it when someone else gets his money.
Moere is suing the people who handled his production of Fahrenheit 9/11 for $2.9 MILLION that he says they kept instead of giving to him. It is his money and he wants it.
Let me be clear, if the money is his he is entitled to it and he should get it.
But why is he all up in arms about this? He made $19 MILLION off the movie. Isn’t that enough for him to live on? How much more does he actually need?
After all, this is the guy who made a movie about corporate America and how terrible it is that the Wall Street executives make lots and lots of money. Moore is not happy that the Wall Street tycoons get millions of dollars in salaries and millions more in bonuses. He believes that they are not entitled to that money even though it is theirs.
Why is he entitled to what he has earned when he thinks others should not be granted the same consideration?
Moore is a hypocrite and he is a closet capitalist. He likes to pretend that he is looking out for you but he is looking out for himself.
He is entitled to all that he earns and I will never dispute that no matter what I think of him.
But so is everyone else no matter what Moore thinks of them…
Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Moore Lies Exposed By Wikileaks
Dec 18, 2010 Political
Julian Assange broke the law by publishing classified and other sensitive US documents that were illegally obtained. While many hail him as a hero, he is a criminal who broke US law. Ann Coulter displays one of the laws in her latest column:
Among the criminal laws apparently broken by Assange is 18 U.S.C. 793(e), which provides:
“Whoever having unauthorized possession of, access to, or control over any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, (etc. etc.) relating to the national defense, … (which) the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates (etc. etc) the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same (etc) …
“Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.”
So there is no doubt that Assange broke the law.
One of his supporters is Michael Moore who offered to pay the bond for the release of Assange. Moore believes in what Assange did and wants to help him out. It is Moore’s money and he can do what he wants with it.
However, one of the leaked documents shows that Moore’s film Sicko was banned in Cuba because the hospital that was shown as the model of Socialist medicine is not available to the general population and the Cuban authorities were worried that if the public saw the film it would create an uproar.
Moore was trying to discredit the US health care system when he made his movie but it looks like he was giving it more credit when compared to a country where the only way to get into the elite hospital is to be someone of importance or to pay bribes. It was evident to anyone with a brain that Cuba’s health system was not all that Moore cracked it up to be but that did not stop Moore from creating and releasing Sicko. The problem is, he is now discredited. If Cuban medicine was so wonderful then the film would not have been banned out of fear that people would get upset at the care they do not have access to.
And if that care was so wonderful then Fidel Castro would not have had to fly in doctors to treat his illness.
Additionally, if the system was so wonderful, Moore would not have had to use one elite hospital to make his point while ignoring the substandard care that people in most of the country receive, if they receive it at all. Moore made his case through deception by using the one elite hospital in Cuba as a model for the rest of the country.
Moore claims that his movie was not banned and it played for the entire country. He claims the released communications were designed to recreate reality:
The film-maker said on his blog that the diplomatic cable, dated 31 January 2008, was “a stunning look at the Orwellian nature of how bureaucrats for the state spin their lies and try to recreate reality (I assume to placate their bosses and tell them what they want to hear)”. Guardian UK
Moore’s response is a spot on description of his films. He spins lies to recreate reality (like using one elite hospital to represent all others that are much less impressive).
Who do we believe, the diplomats or Moore? While I do not trust diplomats I can’t figure why they would spin a lie when the communications were not meant for the public. What good would it do to point out what Moore did if the information was not released to the American public?
Besides that, Moore supports Assange and what he has done to expose our government’s secrets and bring transparency to the world.
Given that, Moore has to accept all the truths no matter how ugly they are to him.
And since Moore is a liar and has been exposed as one, who are we to believe?
I do not agree with what Assange did and I hope he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law but if there is a bright spot to the whole ordeal it is that Moore’s lies have been exposed.
Before all you Moore toadies jump in, ask yourself this; if a cable indicated that George Bush invaded Iraq for oil and he (Bush) said that it was a “spin” to recreate reality, who would you believe?
Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Note To Michael Moore; You Got What You Voted For
Nov 30, 2009 Political
One thing I can appreciate about Michael Moore is that he is consistent. He is consistently wrong about things but that does not stop him. He makes “documentaries” that are incorrect and in which he uses out of context information to paint inaccurate portrayals of things taking place. In some of them his hypocrisy is unbelievable. His anti capitalism movie flies in the face of the fact that he is very rich and got that way because of, with for it, CAPITALISM.
Looks like Michael Moore, who licks the boots of liberals, is not so happy with the person he voted for to occupy the White House. Moore wrote an open letter to Obama begging him not to send more troops to Afghanistan. This is how the letter opens:
Do you really want to be the new “war president”? If you go to West Point tomorrow night (Tuesday, 8pm) and announce that you are increasing, rather than withdrawing, the troops in Afghanistan, you are the new war president. Pure and simple. And with that you will do the worst possible thing you could do — destroy the hopes and dreams so many millions have placed in you. With just one speech tomorrow night you will turn a multitude of young people who were the backbone of your campaign into disillusioned cynics. You will teach them what they’ve always heard is true — that all politicians are alike. I simply can’t believe you’re about to do what they say you are going to do. Please say it isn’t so. Michael Moore
Moore is a talented writer and he writes a well reasoned letter. Regardless of what any one person might think about the war in Afghanistan, Moore is entitled to his opinion and he expresses it very well.
There is one big problem though. Moore is using his well honed skill of painting a picture that is not accurate. Moore’s letter is based upon the premise that Obama campaigned on a platform of ending the war in Afghanistan and bringing our troops home. If Obama had actually campaigned on that then Moore would have a case and his open letter would make sense. The problem is, Obama campaigned on the exact opposite of that and he was very clear about it.
Barack Obama told us that the war in Iraq was a mistake but the war in Afghanistan was the war of necessity. Obama said he would send more troops to Afghanistan. An article at Boston.com from July 2008 discusses the candidates’ stances on the wars and this is what it reports:
While Obama called for sending two more brigades to Afghanistan, McCain called for sending three. [emphasis mine]
CNN reports this (also from July 2008):
“I think one of the biggest mistakes we’ve made strategically after 9/11 was to fail to finish the job here, focus our attention here. We got distracted by Iraq,” he said.
Obama said troop levels must increase in Afghanistan.
“For at least a year now, I have called for two additional brigades, perhaps three,” he told CBS. “I think it’s very important that we unify command more effectively to coordinate our military activities. But military alone is not going to be enough.” [emphasis mine]
I could continue to find where Obama called Afghanistan the war of necessity, claimed that al-Qaeda and the Taliban must be defeated, and stated his intent to increase troop strength but these two examples make it clear that Obama was upfront about his plans and that Moore has no basis for the impression he paints in his open letter.
In other words, quit crying Michael, you knew what you were getting when you voted for him.
That’s right Michael, Obama told you what he was going to do and you still voted for him. Therefore, you have no standing when you whine and complain about Obama actually doing what he said he would do. I know that it might be surprising that Obama is doing what he said (and that is likely more to do with his desire not to be perceived as weak) but the reality is, you Michael (and millions like you), believed every word Obama said and you worshiped him. You should not now cry when he is doing exactly what he told you and the rest of kool aid drinkers he was going to do.
Your letter claims that the hopes and dreams of millions of young people who voted for Obama will be destroyed if he sends more troops. Since they voted for him knowing full well that he said he was going to send more troops then sending those troops MUST have been their hopes and dreams. You cannot destroy something that did not exist and the hopes and dreams of the youth that Obama would bring our troops home from Afghanistan DID NOT EXIST because he did not tell them he would do that.
He told them quite the opposite.
This is classic Michael Moore. Paint a picture that is untrue and then attack that picture.
Michael, you got exactly what you voted for.
If you are having buyer’s remorse then just say so but do so without the lies and deception. I know that is hard for you but give it a try.
