What Would Martin Luther King Like?
Barack Obama gave an interview to a couple of radio hosts and in the interview he said that MLK would have liked Obamacare. It is a prelude to what he will be saying in an upcoming speech. He will try to convince the mind numbed drones that follow him that MLK would have liked Obamacare.
Here is what Obama said:
“Oh he’d like that,” [MLK would like Obamacare] Obama asserted. “Well, because he understood that health care, health security is not a privilege, it’s something in a county as wealthy as ours, everybody should have access to.”
Obama reminded the pair [radio hosts] that it was important for everyone to sign up for Obamacare on healthcare.gov.
“We were just talking with some folks earlier about the fact that, for a lot of people, it will be cheaper than your cell phone bill,” Obama explained. Washington Examiner
First of all, how would Obama know what MLK would like? Obama was a small child when MLK was murdered. I do not recall King calling for universal government run health care but I do recall he was a fan of people being free. He had fairly conservative values and it seems unlikely he would have approved of anything that would have made anyone, particularly blacks, more dependent on government.
It seems to me that King would not have fought for civil rights and equality of all only to have the blacks put back into bondage as slaves on the Democrat plantation.
Obama claims that King would recognize that everyone should have access to health care. Health care is not a right and it is not a privilege, it is a commodity. And everyone has ACCESS to it. The fight that is involved is who will pay for it. You see, anyone can go to a doctor. The fight comes in when it is time to pay the bill. The people who think like Obama believe that it should be paid for by someone else.
Obama was sure to remind people that they should sign up to become more dependent on government, something King would likely not approve of.
Obama then claimed it would be cheaper, for some folks, than their cell phone bill.
In what world is Obama living? I imagine there are some folks who have really high cell phone bills so Obamacare might be cheaper. I imagine if these folks fall into the category where taxpayers subsidize their health care (there we go again, determining that someone else pays the bill) then it might cost less than their cell bill. How could health care possibly cost less than the cell phone bill of the leeches who are using one or more Obamaphones?
But let me make this clear, if you have a cell phone bill that is about the same cost or more than health insurance you can get rid of the phone and pay for your own insurance. The reality is Obama wants everyone dependent on government. He wants the takers to increase in numbers.
Once people depend on government to live they will continue to fight for politicians who promise them more and more and who promise not to take away their goodies.
Look how the elderly are used as pawns. Many become dependent on Social Security and that is used as a weapon to get their votes. They vote in their best interests and not the best interests of the country.
Obama wants more people on the dole so they will keep voting for the Marxists in the Democrat Party. The transformation can’t take place without the hangers on who refuse to live their own lives or take responsibility. As long as Obama and his thieves can get people signed up they can be controlled.
There is no difference between liberals and a drug dealer. They both get you hooked and then exploit you.
One last thing, Obama claims that in a wealthy country like ours everyone should have access to health care. I have already pointed out that everyone has access and that the dispute is who pays.
But let’s look at the country as wealthy as ours myth. We are over 16 TRILLION dollars in debt and have over 100 TRILLION dollars of unfunded liabilities. We are not wealthy.
We can’t even pay our own bills.
Obama will never be able to see this. He has lived his life having everything handed to him and he is in a job where he does what he wants and others foot the bill. He thinks there is no end to the money.
And he is wrong.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

MLK Would Be Ashamed And Other Tidbits
Jan 17, 2012 Commentary, Political
This week we celebrated the life of Martin Luther King Jr, a man who fought for civil rights and equality, a man who said people should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. King would be very disappointed in the way things turned out.
In the decades since King fought for equality the federal government has made the black population slaves to its programs. The Democrat party in particular has enslaved the blacks by assuming they are unable to make it in life without some kind of government assistance. Social welfare programs have broken the black family apart so much so that nearly three quarters of black families lack a father figure. Blacks vote Democrat at about a 90% rate because they are now addicted to the government teat and the programs offered by Democrats to keep them in their places only allowing them to come out long enough to vote Democrat every few years. Then they are ignored until the next election being placated along the way with scraps from the Democrat’s table.
Allen West, a black conservative Republican, does not like how things are going and he has warned Democrats (particularly Obama) not to use the overplayed race card. West said that Dr. King would be devastated by how Obama deals with race issues. Certainly king would not like the attitudes of the Obamas, Eric Holder and the Democrat members of the Congressional Black Caucus and the way they act. King would be particularly devastated by the way the black population has allowed itself to be, once again, enslaved.
Perhaps King is looking down and expressing his displeasure. The eternal (as in, never ending) flame at his tomb was referred to during a news cast and as the camera panned to it, the flame went out. That pretty much sums up how Democrats have tarnished the King legacy.
In other news, Greece will soon default. The people in Greece pressed for more and more government services while they paid fewer and fewer taxes. Their Socialist scheme hit a bump when they ran out of other people’s money. They even ran out of the money they borrowed from even more people. The United States is running the same risk as Democrats insist on more and more welfare to enslave more of the population. They will not be happy until they have us all locked on the same plantation they have been keeping the majority of the blacks in this country.
They scream about the rich paying more in taxes while 50% of wage earners pay no federal taxes. The upper 50% is expected to pay even more to support the bottom half. If the rich are not paying their fair share then the bottom 50% are really in debt to the country. They are not paying any share.
Unfortunately, people keep begging for more “free” money from government to satisfy their addiction to OPP (Other People’s Property) and they will not stop until we are defaulting like Greece (if that is even able to stop them).
Social Welfare programs account for the largest part of our budget (much more so than the defense budget) and those programs continue to grow and cost even more. We are in debt to the tune of 15 TRILLION dollars and we have no hope of ever getting that under control. The debt was about 10 TRILLION when Obama took office and he has added 5 TRILLION in just three years. This money is being borrowed in order to pay our bills. This is no way to run a country as Greece well knows. It is an example we should learn from but do not.
Obama insists on failed Keynesian economics. That principle has never worked and never will but Obama keeps with it while spending us into oblivion.
How long will it be before the eternal flame of freedom in this country dies in the night like the flame on MLK’s tomb?
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Public Education At The Sharpton Rally
Aug 31, 2010 Political
Al Sharpton is still smarting from the humiliation he suffered this weekend. This racist pathological liar smeared Glenn Beck and the people who attended the Restoring Honor Rally as a bunch of racists.
The Sharpton morons had a picture of MLK and Glenn Beck with the word Dream pointing at MLK and the word Nightmare pointing at Beck. The nightmare was the for Sharpton who had to realize his mojo is no longer any good. Sharpton is decidedly bitter because of his inability to rally the troops while Beck gathered over half a million people to the mall, people who were peaceful and non violent. There were probably more people of color at the Restoring Honor Rally than at the Sharpton take back the dream rally (or whatever this moron called it).
Sharpton was supported by a mostly black crowd and labor union members who carried signs like the one pictured in this post. Take a look at it and see if you can find the problem.
These folks are a product of the public school system. I have no doubt that there were plenty of people at the Beck event who can’t spell but I bet they would have checked the work before taking it out in public.
Then again, maybe this is not so surprising. After all, it is union work…
Cave Canem

How Many People At The Rally And Were They Racists?
Aug 29, 2010 Political
The usual post rally numbers game is underway and people are saying that as few as 87,000 and as many as 1 million people attended the Restoring Honor event in DC. The liberal left needs to minimize the numbers because the bigger the numbers are the weaker its position becomes.
I was at the rally and I believe there were closer to a million people than to 87,000. The New Carrollton Metro station had 8000 to 10,000 people in line when I arrived. It took nearly 2 hours to get to the train and when I did get on the train the line down below was longer than when I arrived. The entire Mall was surrounded by people and the crowd extended to the Washington Monument. The open area to the left (when looking at the Lincoln Memorial) was completely full of people and the right had densely packed groups way into the wood line (they cannot be seen from the overhead shots but they were there and they were packed in there).
The crowd was mostly white (as is the population of this country) but there were quite a few people of color in attendance. I saw many, many people who were not white and they appeared to be enjoying themselves. In fact, two women of color were walking next to me on the way to the Mall and one looked to the other and said; “Can you believe he asked me where the Al Sharpton event was? I told him over there where those 10 people are. I am going down here where everyone else is.” She was amused that the person would assume that since she was not white she would be on her way to see Sharpton rather than Beck. She got a huge laugh out of it as did everyone with whom she shared the story.
I understand that the left is upset by all the attention non liberal groups get and it needs to fight it any way it can. This is why everything is labeled racist. But minimizing the crowd at this event and repeating the same tired lines about it being very white is getting old. Whites are a majority of the population and when one considers that 95% of blacks are held captive on the Democrat plantation then it is easy to see why throngs of blacks are not at these types of events. However, rejecting the validity of an event because it has too many people of one color and not enough of another makes no sense and is very dangerous. Those who think that any rally that consists of mostly white people is not valid would have to invalidate the Al Sharpton rally that consisted mostly of black people.
Additionally, this picture of the Martin Luther King “I have a dream” speech shows the crowd to be almost all black. No whites are found in the picture of the crowd. I am sure some were there but since whites made up 60%-70% of the population (probably more like 80% back then) at that time then this crowd is disproportionately black. I find that perfectly acceptable but if we are going to use the diversity of color at an event to give it credibility or validity then MLK’s speech was not credible and not valid. I would also point out that Obama’s inauguration had huge numbers of blacks in the crowd, numbers that were hugely disproportionate to their representation in the country. Does this mean that event lacked validity?
There are plenty of pictures of the crowd and they tell a story that makes it clear more than 87,000 people were there. MLK had 200,000 to 250,000 at his speech and the Restoring Honor pictures show more people than attended King’s speech so it is logical to assume that there were more than 200,000 people there. I think that the number is 600,000 to 1 million but have no way of knowing and no agency does any official counting.
It would be interesting to know how many Metro tickets were sold. That would give a good indication of how many people were there.
Suffice it to say that the event is not well received by liberals who cannot grasp the concept of honor and who cannot see anything but racism in such events. It will drive them nuts for some time to come.
I also add that there were many people opposed to Beck having this rally in the same place where MLK had his speech and on the same date that the speech occurred. Al Sharpton was very upset about this claiming that Beck was against what MLK stood for (which Sharpton erroneously believes to be the removal of state’s rights) and challenged Beck to debate the Ground Zero Mosque issue, which Sharpton supports. This challenge came as Sharpton appeared on Geraldo Rivera’s show. So does anyone else find it ironic that Sharpton complains about the location of Beck’s rally but dismisses this concern (location) from people opposed to the mosque? Thanks to Rick for this insight.
Anyone want to wager that the people offended at Glen Beck’s choice of location for his Restoring Honor rally in DC (where Martin Luther King held his I Have A Dream speech) are the same people defending the location of the mosque at Ground Zero?
Anyone?
We will hear more in the days ahead…
Here are some great pictures and interesting takes on the rally:
Affirmative Action Counting for DC Events
Leftists Could Find No Racism at Restoring Honor Rally
Wrap Up and Whitewash (Plus, who is cleaner and where is the racism)
An enormous and impassioned crowd (and from the New York Times no less)
Washington Compost (the added “mostly black” to the Sharpton crowd report later, probably in response to a comment asking why it was not reported the same way as the RH Rally)
CNN article Note how many comments refer to the WHITE crowd
Why is there this assumption that MLK and his speech were a black only thing?
Cave Canem!

Another Lie About Bill Clinton?
Jan 21, 2008 Political
I was recently told in my comment section that a bunch of things about Bill Clinton were disproven including the story that he and Hillary fell asleep during the Reagan funeral. I watched that video and it looks like Bill is asleep and Hillary is trying to stay awake but, of course, if the Clintons say they were awake then who are we to question it?
The Reagan funeral might be something that can be debated but today Bill Clinton fell asleep during a church service commemorating Dr. Martin Luther King. The video leaves no doubt as Clinton falls asleep and his head drops down as he jerks back up to consciousness. You can see the story here (the story says he fell asleep at Reagan’s funeral) and you can see a video here.
I realize that this will probably be billed as some contrived story made up by the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy and those who worship the ground that Bill walks on will buy that however, this does not appear to be a hoax.
It is ironic that Bill claims that King’s “I Have a Dream” speech inspired him to get into public service. I guess he took the title literally.
UPDATE: For what its worth, I don’t care if Bill Clinton falls asleep or not. The point of the post was to counter a claim that the story of him falling asleep in the past was proved false or made up by the right. This post is in response to the comment, just to make it clear (for the boobs who are not able to tell). **and I don’t mean the commenter**
