Jumping In On The Plame Story
Jul 11, 2006 Uncategorized
Looks like Robert Novak will be discussing the people who told him that Valerie Plame was a “secret agent.”
BOB NOVAK, My Leak Case Testimony: ‘I learned Valerie Plame’s name from Joe Wilson’s entry in ‘Who’s Who in America’… MORE Published reports that I took the Fifth Amendment, made a plea bargain with the prosecutors or was a prosecutorial target were all untrue… MORE… My primary source has not come forward to identify himself… Bill Harlow, the CIA public information officer who was my CIA source for the column confirming Mrs. Wilson’s identity. I learned Valerie Plame’s name from Joe Wilson’s entry in ‘Who’s Who in America’… I answered questions using the names of Rove, Harlow and my primary source… I considered his wife’s role in initiating Wilson’s mission, later confirmed by the Senate Intelligence Committee, to be a previously undisclosed part of an important news story. I reported it on that basis.

Ice Falls In Africa, Will Gore Blame Global Warming?
Jul 10, 2006 Uncategorized
An ice ball fell from the sky for the first time in Africa.
Research conducted by a Nasa [sic]- affiliated scientist suggests that the frozen object that plummeted from the clear sky last Friday morning was one of the first “megacryometeors” to be recorded in Africa.
Since everything hot and everything cold is blamed on Global Warming, how long will it be before Al Gore blames this on the theory? How long will it be before Gore is filming his next infomercial on Global Warming? The sequel to An Inconvenient Truth, Global Warming in Africa, You Bet Your Ice is probably beginning as we speak.
Africans who witnessed the phenomena claimed that Al Gore told them it is very hot in Africa so ice forms as a result of fossil fuel emissions.

Israel Is Not Playing Games
Jul 9, 2006 Uncategorized
The Palestinians are a bit shell shocked because they were stupid and kidnapped an Israeli soldier. They expected to negotiate an exchange with Israel but the Israelis would have none of the negotiations. Instead, they attacked the Palestinians and they have been cutting a path of destruction across the Gaza. Israel has maintained all along that they want the soldier released and they will withdraw. They have indicated that they are not trying to take the Gaza back, they just want their soldier.
The Hamas government of Palestine is a bit on edge because of the ferocity of Israel. They have now called for a cease fire and they are continuing to throw out demands. They refuse to release the soldier outright and instead are seeking an exchange. In the Star Trek movie The Wrath of Kahn, Ricardo Montalban (who played Kahn) said, “You are in a position to demand nothing, sir.” It seems that Hamas is on a position to demand nothing. They are under attack and will be destroyed if they continue this folly.
The Israelis can not give in to demands. If they do, a lot more of their soldiers will be kidnapped. Hamas does not want to come away empty handed because they will lose face in the Arab world, not to mention the amount of property they will have lost for nothing. The fact is, they committed a crime and the Israelis are making them pay. If they truly want a cease fire they will release the Israeli soldier and then, perhaps they will be able to discuss the release of prisoners.

UCSC Chancellor Hits Rock Bottom
Jul 8, 2006 Uncategorized
I don’t know how I missed this but the Chancellor of UC Santa Cruz jumped off a building and killed herself. Did she jump from her flat, or jump and become flat? I reported not long ago about the UCSC campus Students Against War (SAW) chasing recruiters away in violation of the Solomon Act. I wrote about this shortly after (here, here, here and here) Michelle Malkin wrote about it in a post where she gave contact information for Chancellor Denice Denton. Malkin got a lot of grief over posting the information but only from spineless cowards who do not have the courage to face decisions they take. Now that Denton has taken the plunge there are people in the blogosphere (Reason) who claim that they are not suggesting that Malkin’s readers pushed Denton over the edge (of course not, she jumped) but would like an apology from Malkin nonetheless. Seems to me if you did nothing wrong, you have nothing to apologize for.
Denice Denton was a troubled person and the fact that she plunged to her death is not Malkin’s or anyone else’s fault. It is evident from the story of her death that she had a lesbian lover (or partner, as they are called), had recently caught hell for expensive renovations to her campus home (at campus expense) and that she had mental issues (all items that add stress to people). I can only imagine how Denton would have freaked if the hundreds of emails I sent to Congress asking that they withdraw federal money had had any effect. In any event, I am not troubled or apologetic that she is dead.
This might sound cruel to some but Denton was the Chancellor of a liberal school living a liberal lifestyle in elitist fashion. The liberals credo involves killing unborn children for whom they do not weep and for whom they have no feelings. Why on Earth should we feel badly for someone who had it all (great job, $282,000 a year) and only decided to do what her mother did not 46 years earlier. Denice Denton just did a very late term abortion and her life is now over. She decided to walk off a building and plunge to a sudden stop ending her life and that folks is her fault and her fault only. It is tragic when anyone dies but in the overall scheme of things the liberals are all about the culture of death with abortion, assisted suicide, and pulling the plug on people on life support. The fact is, liberals do not value life and Denice decided hers had no worth.
Her death is not Malkin’s fault any more than it is mine or any of the people in her life. The fault is hers and hers alone. She was mentally unstable and not a very effective leader since she could not control the animals that attacked the military recruiters. As for the bloggers and others who would like to place blame at Ms. Malkin’s feet or ask for some kind of apology or remorse let me say this, Malkin has nothing to apologize or be remorseful for. If Denton could not handle a little criticism then she had issues well beyond what problems Malkin might have brought to bear. In addition, if blog postings drive people to walk off buildings then Malkin would have taken the plunge long ago.
My God, the liberal left has written every nasty terrible thing imaginable about this woman (read some of the comments at the blog linked above). In Malkin’s book “Unhinged” she reprints some of the emails sent by the “tolerant” liberal left. The names and the accusations are far worse than anything Denton went through and Malkin did not jump off a building. Perhaps it is because she leads a more normal life with a normal support system and does not have the pressures associated with an alternate lifestyle. Whatever it is, she is not responsible for Denton’s death and insinuations of such by anyone, anywhere, are insane.
I will offer a bit of an apology. To Denice Denton’s family, I am sorry that your loved one had an illness that led her to believe her life had no value and I am sorry you failed to recognize the illness and get her help. I only hope and pray that she has finally found peace and that her penance for committing suicide is having Michelle Malkin’s postings read to her for eternity.
Some moonbats are going to attack me for that….
I guess in following Planck’s Constant and the suggestions of Reason, I might need a disclaimer:
If you read this and are going to kill yourself make sure you don’t screw it up. There is nothing worse than being so depressed you try to kill yourself and then fail at that. Your suicide note should indicate you hold no bloggers responsible for your selfishness.

Conservative Wins In Mexico, Liberal Loser Pulls A Gore
Jul 6, 2006 Uncategorized
The best thing about the Mexican Presidential election is that their current President and ILLEGAL enabler, Vincente Fox, will be out of office. The next best thing is that a conservative won. This means that Canada and Mexico have opted for conservatism along with the US. We need to ensure we maintain that in November.
The Mexican election is not without the typical liberal prattle. The liberal loser is vowing to fight the results in court and take it to the streets. The liberal spouted off the typical moonbat lunacy about voting irregularities (like making people show ID, perhaps. We know how liberals hate that).
Conservative presidential candidate Felipe Calderon won a narrow victory on Thursday in an election that divided Mexico, but his leftist rival vowed to fight the result in the courts and on the streets.
The Harvard-educated Calderon was elected with 35.88 percent of the vote and Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, a combative left-wing former Mexico City mayor, trailed close behind on 35.31 percent, final official results showed.
Lopez Obrador angrily claimed the election last Sunday was plagued with irregularities and pledged to fight it in Mexico’s electoral tribunal.
There it is in black and white. The guy said the election was a fraud because he did not win. All liberals are the same in that they think that people want them in office and if they do not win there must have been something wrong. Al Gore made that a popular position in 2000. The fact is, the other guy won so get over it.
There is no word if Michael Moore will head to Mexico to make a documentary highlighting all the disenfranchised voters. There is also no indication that Florida will send special ballot counters to check for hanging chads. One thing they will not have to worry about is the disenfranchised criminal vote. Most of them have come tot he United States.
All liberals are the same no matter where you go. The loser in Mexico could easily have been a candidate in any state in the US and he would have acted the same (he could easily be a candidate here by walking across ILLEGALLY. Then the left would honor him and President Bush would hail his presence as necessary for our economy).
