Obama’s Muslim Appeasement Continues

If Barack Obama is not a Muslim (I suspect he is) then he certainly sympathizes with them. He is openly hostile to Christians and Jews and ignores the massacre of them at the hands of Muslim radicals while he coddles and appeases Muslims. It is disgusting to watch Obama bend over backwards to make Muslims happy.
Obama visited a Mosque in Maryland yesterday (tying up traffic and causing disruption) and during his speech in a place that has been under FBI investigation since 2010 he told everyone that Islam has always been a part of America.
This is not the first time Obama has made this kind of claim and that means it is not the first time he has been wrong.
Muslims had little to do with America and the first to contribute anything (though not much) was about 80 years after our founding. Muslims were heavily involved in the slave trade, if that counts.
While Obama makes it sound like Thomas Jefferson had affection for Muslims the truth is he and others were working to stop the Muslim pirates who were attacking our ships. Our early leaders had the Koran so they could study the Muslims and learn how to defeat them. Jefferson showed his love for them when he sent the full force of the Navy to attack the pirates.
I guess we can say the Muslims contributed by showing us why we needed Marines.
Muslims have not always been part of America and their contributions are not something to write home about unless you are a jihadi writing home to brag.
Muslim contributions to the US involve trafficking in slaves, terror attacks, pirating (and this continues today), honor killings, rape, murder, female genital mutilation, and discontent with our way of life.
So while Muslims have not always been a part of America like Obama claims, the time they have been a part of us is one we would have been better off without.
[note]Muslims who come to America legally and to live in peace, welcome to you. Part of that life means to speak out against radicals. If you can’t do that then you are part of the problem.[/note]
I don’t know why he went to the Mosque. Perhaps he missed worshipping or perhaps he needed to hear the call to prayer.
Whatever the reason, Maryland could have done without the hassle.
I figure Obama was trying to show solidarity with them because they are, you know, persecuted.
Jews are twice as likely to be persecuted for their religion here in the US as Muslims are (interestingly Muslims feel the same way Hitler did about Jews and who is Obama visiting?).
I await Obama’s visit to a Synagogue.
The Jewish people, now they have always been a part of America.

From El Chapo To Oh Crappo

Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is the Houdini of drug lords. He manages to escape from prisons that are supposed to be top notch. I imagine with his drug money he pays a lot of people off to make sure he is able but that is another issue for another time (like when the Mexican government starts going after them).
El Chapo recently escaped and was on the run until he did an interview with potential CIA operative Sean Penn and ended up captured. El Chapo is now back in jail waiting to be extradited to the US.
As far as this guy is concerned they should ship him to Gitmo and leave him there until he rots but before they do officials might want to ask him about a particular rifle found at his hideout.
El Chapo had a 50 caliber rifle that he had his men use to try and take down law enforcement helicopters. That rifle came from the United States.
Now before you go all Obama on me and scream that this is why we need more gun control you should know the rifle was part of the Fast and Furious operation. You know, the one where Obama allowed thousands of firearms to be illegally transferred to drug cartels so they could track them. Only problem is the ATF lost track of the firearms. They have turned up at crime scenes and one was used to kill border patrol agent Brian Terry (yes Obama should be tired for being an accomplice to that murder) but all the documents relating to that operation are locked up under the claim of executive privilege (a judge has ruled that Obama must turn the documents over to Congress, make some popcorn folks).
So Obama has a couple of oh crap moments going on. He has to turn over his Fast and Furious documents at the same time one of his firearms was found in the possession of a well-known drug lord.
The news went from El Chapo to Oh Crappo pretty quickly.
Keep in mind that you would go to jail for the kind of strawman purchases (which Obama erroneously blames for most of the gun crime in places like Chicago) Obama is involved in.
Maybe gun control should involve controlling the government and nothing more…

Obama The Tyrant Awakens Again

Upon return from his refreshing tax payer funded millions of dollars vacation in Hawaii where he beat golf courses to death, Barack the Tyrant will head to the District of Corruption on Monday to discuss more gun control. Obama will meet with AG Lynch to discuss more laws that won’t do a damn thing, wouldn’t have stopped any of the previous shootings and will only hamper law abiding citizens and deny them their rights.
[note]I would truly like to see Obama lose all the armed guards who protect him. He should be required to go about his life without armed protection simply because of his stance on firearms. I certainly want to see his family stripped of armed protection.[/note]
Barack Obama is a lying tyrant who is working hard to undermine this nation and bring it to its knees. He despises everything we stand for and will work hard to change us.
His actions on gun violence do nothing to address the reasons people are murdered with firearms. Keep in mind that gun violence and mass shootings are down while gun ownership is WAY up. The problems is not firearms and it certainly is not this false narrative of easily obtained firearms because it is not easy to buy a firearm. Barack wants to close these alleged loopholes and require people who sell arms to conduct background checks (small volume, non regulated private sales). This is not going to work.
The first thing to realize is that these kinds of sales are a small part of the transactions that take place. Secondly, an investigation was unable to find any firearm sold without a background check used in a mass shooting. Third, Maryland has the kind of system in place Obama is discussing. All regulated firearms (the so called assault rifles, basically any rifle that is not rim fire or bolt action) and all handguns MUST be transferred through a holder of a federal firearms license or through the Maryland State Police. ALL transactions including at gun shows or between two neighbors that involve these regulated firearms MUST take place in this fashion. Maryland, with all this and its Draconian gun laws, has a city that is one of the most deadly in the nation. Baltimore had hundreds of gun related homicides last year. It has been shown time and again that those committing the crimes are not permitted to possess a firearm and yet they have them.
None of these laws affect criminals. We call them criminals because they do not obey the law.
Obama wants people to think that buying a firearm is as easy as buying a condom:
“The gun lobby is loud and well organized in its defense of effortlessly available guns for anyone. The rest of us are going to have to be just as passionate and well organized in our defense of our kids.” The Hill
It is not effortless to buy a gun. Many private transactions do not require background checks but they are a small amount of the transactions AND they are not the kinds of firearms used in crimes. Obama is telling people it is effortless to get firearms and this is WRONG. I can understand how he might have this impression because he has been carelessly distributing firearms around the word. For those he supplies it is real easy to get guns.
For the rest of us, not so much.
Notice that Obama once again tugs at the heart saying we must do this for the kids. If you want to do something for the kids how about you end abortion which murders more children than guns?
How about you pass laws making it as difficult to get an abortion as it is to get a gun?
I mean if Obama is really serious about protecting children then he should do this NOW.
No, this sorry excuse for a human and waste of flesh fights to fund Planned Parenthood and to remove all barriers to abortion while going after law abiding citizens and their firearms. He does not care about children.
He cares about control and he will do whatever he has to in order to get it. That includes lying, cheating and breaking the law.
Just think how many more law breakers Obama can make by making laws that the responsible will NOT follow?

Don’t Monkey With Cruz’s Kids

The general rule in politics is that a politician’s children are off limits. Most politicians try to adhere to this by leaving the children of other politicians out of the political process. This means children and not young adults. You see, older teens and young adult children of politicians who campaign for their parents can and should be subject to the process. Such was the case with George Bush’s daughters who the press was eager to go after (even when they were not part of their dad’s political process). One would be hard pressed to find the same press going after Chelsea Clinton.
It is not hard to find Democrats who have gone after the young children of Republican candidates. Sarah Palin’s young son and his Down’s Syndrome were the topic of many on the left. Now we have a political cartoonist going after Ted Cruz’s young daughters because they were in one of his ads.
The two young girls were portrayed as monkeys dancing to an organ grinder (Ted Cruz). The rationale was that they were in the ad so they are fair game.
How many times have Obama’s girls been a part of his political process? Did anyone draw cartoons of them in this fashion? Hell, Obama’s kids do questionable things and if it is reported the WH demands the stories be pulled and a compliant media does as it is told.
Imagine how the liberal establishment would have acted if during one of Obama’s campaigns his daughters were depicted as little monkeys…
I think the woman responsible for the hit piece on the Cruz children does not have her own kids. Word is she aborted all of hers. Maybe we can draw a cartoon of her dead and dismembered children pleading with her for their lives as she stands there with blood soaked hands.
In any event, leave the kids alone.

Obama And Selective Law Enforcement

Barack Obama is hell bent on bringing hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees to the United States. Republicans are not keen on the idea and Republican governors have stated they will not accept the refugees. Obama, in turn, claimed that these Republicans were afraid of women and children. He further stated that states do not have the legal authority to refuse refugees and those that do refuse will be subject to enforcement action.
[note]I have seen the lines of refugees and most are NOT women and children. Most of them appear to be young men in good shape. They appear to be in good enough shape to stay home and fight the battle. In any event, as Obama told us about fearing women and children a woman suicide bomber blew herself up and the internet displayed pictures of children holding up severed heads. Then again, this is the same Obama who said ISIS was contained a few hours before it terrorized Paris.[/note]
Obama means (at least this is what I gather) enforcement action with regard to the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). It seems that this office provides money to states that take in refugees. That should be no surprise since the federal government confiscates our money and then uses it to coerce states to do what big government wants it to do. Unfortunately too many states are eager to get the money so they play along.
Obama also made it clear that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination based on race and national origin with regard to federal financial assistance (according to the linked article).
A few things here. Muslim and Islam are not races so that is a nonstarter. As far as national origin that might apply but these folks are not citizens and are not entitled to most federal programs. The ORR evidently has program money for these things and this is the money I think they are threatening to withhold.
I like the way ORR discusses the money as if it is theirs to give. It came from THE PEOPLE and it belongs to the people. Regardless, states are free to reject anyone they do not want and if that means the federal government cuts off money then so be it. The people already on those programs will suffer. Let’s face it, the everyday Joe citizen is not getting that money. The people getting it will stop getting it. Good. Perhaps it is time they earned money on their own and stopped getting it from the rest of us. Perhaps it is time for those states to refuse to collect money and send it to the feds. Just collect it and put it in escrow until the feds change the way things are done or better yet, spend it on the programs themselves and cut the feds out altogether.
[note]Here is an idea. Every person who thinks the Syrian refugees should come here MUST take a family in and support them. They must provide all their support including health care, food, and education, all of it. If it is such a worthy cause they should step up and help. After all, that is what they want all of us to do with our tax dollars. So make them do it.[/note]
This is a little more sinister than it appears. Notice how Obama is telling these Governors that they have no legal right to refuse refugees. He is citing the law (or his interpretation of it) and he is putting his foot down. All well and good because we want an Executive that follows the law.
But, when was the last time you heard Obama call out Governors (or other leaders like mayors) who allow sanctuary cities? It is against the law to have them. Their existence is a violation of our immigration laws and those involved are aiding criminals who are here illegally. Did anyone ever hear Obama tell these politicians they could not have sanctuary cities and if they did they would lose federal funding?
NO!
The reason is that law is one Obama likes. He selectively follows the laws. The ones he ;likes he enforces and the ones he does not like he does not enforce. Remember, this guy has a pen and a phone and he will bypass Congress to get things his way. He exceeds his authority to get what he wants (and Congress does not have the testicular fortitude to stop him).
It is bad that our petulant leader disobeys laws and selectively enforces them. It is equally as bad that he cares not about our safety and is trying to force states to take in potentially dangerous people.
If these people come here it will only be a matter of time before they plan and conduct a coordinated attack.
[note]They are not all bad Big Dog. Estimates say only 10% of them are radicalized. OK, how about I put 10 M&Ms in a bowl. Nine of them are regular candy and one is a poison that will kill you instantly. Will you select one to eat? Only 10% is dangerous…[/note]
If it happens after Obama leaves office his successor will get the blame. Unless of course his successor is a Democrat in which case the left will blame George W. Bush.
When (not if, but when) the attacks occur Obama should be held accountable as should anyone who worked to bring the terror here.
When that happens all hell will break loose and all the money the ORR has will not stop the administration of justice…
