Obama Welcomes the Peasants
The coronation of The One will take place in DC on January 20th (unless he is disqualified by then) and the DC politicians have decided to cash in on a good thing. Since it is estimated that millions of people will arrive for the ceremony the pols have decided to allow establishments to remain open around the clock for the week. Establishments that serve alcohol will have to close at 5 am which means Kennedy can leave the bar and head to work, assuming he is still alive by then.
It is amazing that the liberals want to cash in on Obama. That seems like such a capitalistic thing to do. What happened to all the “spread the wealth” ideas? Shouldn’t these hotels and bars be required to give away their services? Maybe they should be required to close at their regular time so that people can get in and avoid being murdered by the thugs who hang around and prey on tourists.
The stars will certainly be out for the coronation. Oprah Winfrey will do her show from DC for the entire week. Certainly she wants to cash in on the man she helped to win. I can’t imagine what it would be like to have a week of Oprah interviewing people talking about Obama. I have never watched her show and that week looks like a good time to continue that trend.
For those of you coming to DC for the first time, be aware that it is not a quaint little country village. It is a city full of criminals and murderers and those are just the people in Congress. The place has high prices and if you venture down the wrong street you might not make it back out. The subway is top notch and easy to use and safe but there will be more people there than ever before (if estimates are close to correct) so you should plan to leave early for your destinations. There will be a lot more police there but they will not be able to control that many people. Keep in mind, not everyone there is in the same jovial mood you will be and some just want to take what you own.
I see no reason not to warn those who have never been there. Call it my gift to you.
If Obama is not disqualified by then there will be huge crowds. If he is there will be riots. Buy ammo.

Just Say No To Oprah

Back during the general election Oprah Winfrey declined to interview Sarah Palin because Oprah said she wanted to keep her show free from politics. Of course, while keeping it free she had Obama on twice, his wife was on as well and Oprah made a big public spectacle of endorsing Obama.
Now that the election is over and Obama has won Oprah has requested Sarah Palin do an interview. Now Oprah is not the only one. Larry King and Barbara Walters would like interviews as well. Palin should consider those because even though King and Walters would love to give labial stimulation to glans Obama, they did not deny Palin the chance to interview during the campaign. She might not have done one but it is not because she was refused the opportunity.
Oprah, on the other hand, decided to deny an interview that many of her audience wanted to see. Now Oprah wants the ratings jump she would surely get with Palin on the adjoining couch.
Palin should do every interview except the Oprah one. She should deny any contact with Oprah or her people. Oprah is a lying, cowardly, racist puke who does not deserve the time of day. She too is part of the Chicago machine and though many consider her talented I would venture that she had Chicago help along the way. How much skill does it take to sit on a couch and talk about how much body fat you’ve lost?
Oprah might not have wanted to interject White Republican Female politics into her show but I have a feeling she will be more active in politics in 2012. Oprah is calling it quits from her show in 2011 which will give her a year to get involved and maybe even run for something though I can’t imagine what she would actually be qualified for except maybe the aforementioned labial-glans position.
If things go right, she will still be waiting for her Palin interview.

Full Clinton Press in Iowa

Hillary Clinton might have stated that she does not need celebrity endorsement to win but it has not stopped her from picking it up and at the most opportune times. It is as if the endorsements are timed to counter something big about her opponents. B. Hussein Obama has picked up the endorsement of Oprah Winfrey and that is a big endorsement. Winfrey is a very popular woman whose opinions carry a lot of weight. Winfrey is making three appearances this weekend in support of Obama and this has the Clinton camp in a tizzy.
Hillary has pulled out the stops and has hubby Bill running around spreading lies all over. He is criticizing the media for its portrayal of his wife and he is rewriting history with regard to his support for the war. He has start power and he is trying to use it to beat back the Obama/Oprah assault. Now Hillary has brought in her daughter Chelsea who has not yet campaigned for mom. I saw the picture of Chelsea and I have to say she is a lot cuter than she was as a teen but no matter how she has changed she has no where near the start power of Winfrey. There is no way that her presence is going to cause a hiccup in the Obama/Oprah express. It is kind of unfair to bring Chelsea in at this time when there is not a damned thing she can do.
I wonder why Babs Streisand did not show up. That would have been a more logical choice than Chelsea though Oprah has much more star power than a yenta whose time has come and gone. Maybe Babs did not want to be in an uncomfortable position among the Clinton crime family seeing as how she slept with Bill (which Hillary is quite aware of).
If people are not going to show up in support because they had sex with Bill then it is going to be a lonely campaign trail.

As an aside, take a look at the amount of food on Hillary’s plate. No wonder her hips are getting farther away from center. If she keeps eating like that she will be able to cover Iowa and never have to move.
