Protect Your Cell Phone From The Police
Mar 8, 2012 Political
A court has decided that the police have the right to look through your cell phone without a warrant if they have arrested you for something. This comes from a case where a man was arrested for making drug deals and the police officer who looked through his phone for numbers he contacted.
The court claimed that the officer could basically deny the person his rights because information on the phone could be remotely erased by someone else with access to a computer and the phone. The need to gather data before it is gone is more important that the need to uphold our rights, at least according to this court.
What will they do next? Will they be allowed to go through your computer because you might erase the hard drive before they get a warrant? Will they be allowed to bust into your home and look around because you might destroy evidence or burn your house down before they get a warrant?
The idea that police officers will only look at information pertinent to the case is laughable. They will look through contacts to see who a person communicates with and they will look through emails to see what a person is talking about. They will look at everything and then use the information for things that have nothing to do with the case at hand.
The Baltimore police already violate people’s rights. When they arrest someone with a cell phone they take the SIM cards from them. The only reason to do so would be to put them in a reader and see what is on them. A drug dealer would have lots if interesting information on those cards. That is no reason to ignore the rights of the phone’s owners.
Protect your phone and its data. Many of us think our information is safe but this court has determined that this is not the case. Protect your phones by putting a password in place. The court might allow the cop to look at the information on your phone but you cannot be compelled to tell them the password. You have the right to remain silent.
And if a cop EVER asks if he can search your phone, say NO!
It is also important to set the phone to wipe the data after so many failed attempts at the password. Most phones do not have elaborate password schemes so it would only be a matter of time before any password is cracked. By setting the phone to wipe after so many failed attempts you can force the police to wipe your phone for you.
We are at the crossroads of falling into a police state sanctioned by rogue courts.
Protect yourself from those who care not about you or your rights.
Too many patriots died to protect your rights. The least you can do is carry that practice on.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Firefighters, Police, And Teachers Are State Responsibilities
Oct 18, 2011 Political
Whenever progressives discuss the need for stimulus money to further expand upon their bad economic plans they inevitably discuss the impact on the salaries of firefighters, police officers and teachers. They scream to pass the bill because we need to ensure we keep paying these groups of people.
Keep in mind that the bill that allegedly creates jobs is being justified by pointing out that it will pay to continue jobs that are already held by people.
Progressives always point out public safety employees and teachers when they want to pass something and there are two basic reasons for this. The first is that it plays on the fears of people. What happens if we lose firefighters, police officers and teachers? We will not be safe and our kids will not get educated (as if they are right now).
The second reason is based on the first. Once there is fear about losing people in these occupations it is easier to get support for massive spending.
The reality is that the progressives want to pay off public union employees for their support of Democrats. Firefighters, police officers and teachers belong to unions that overwhelmingly support Democrats. The money going to them is part of a huge money laundering operation where government spends billions of dollars that go to public sector unions and then public sector unions send loads of money back to Democrat politicians.
The only people who get screwed are the taxpayers because our money is being laundered through the unions to support Democrats and we have no say in the process.
The federal government does not belong in the business of paying the people in these professions. Firefighters, police officers and teachers work for state or local governments. There are federal employees in these professions and the federal government deals with their pay but for the most part people in these professions belong to a state or local government.
The state or local government hires these folks based upon the needs of that particular entity and it is up to the state or local government to pay these people. If they cannot afford to pay them then they need to reduce the size of the police or fire departments and they need to reduce the number of teachers in the schools. If they want to continue with the numbers they have then they must raise revenue at the state or local level. Let the state and local politicians raise taxes and other revenue and let them deal with the voters at that level.
The federal government does not belong in the business of the states and people who pay federal taxes should not be paying the salaries of state and local firefighters, police officers and teachers.
It is a responsibility that is not part of the powers enumerated for Congress under the US Constitution.
That won’t stop politicians from using our tax dollars to pay for these things (look at Stimulus I) and it won’t stop them from using these job titles as justification for a bill they claim will create jobs.
It is our responsibility to tell these politicians NO to any new Stimulus and it is up to us to tell them they are working outside the limits of their authority.
They want to intimidate you with tough words:
‘The message to the American people and to Congress will be clear,” said principal deputy spokesman Josh Earnest. “Pass the bill this week to protect the job of a North Carolina teacher, or come down here, look her in the eye….” USA Today
But we need to be equally tough. So, if there are any politicians who can’t do what this person says call me and let me know. I will be happy to go to North Carolina (or any other state) and look a teacher (or other public sector employee) in the eye and tell them exactly why they don’t get the money.
Or, you could just send them a copy of this post.
Time to get this under control and put little Barry and his gang of misfit progressives out to pasture…
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

What Happened To The Stimulus Money?
Jun 13, 2010 Political
And why are teacher’s, firefighter’s and police officer’s salaries a federal concern?
The stimulus bill signed into law last February was a 787 billion dollar boondoggle. The total package, with interest on borrowed money, will put the thing over 1 TRILLION dollars. The unfortunate thing is that we got very little for our money and the things it was spent on are NOT things that will stimulate the economy and a lot of them are things states are responsible for.
Obama is pleading with Democrats to pass another 50 BILLION dollars of “emergency” funds to prevent teachers, firefighters and police officers from being laid off.
President Obama urged reluctant lawmakers Saturday to quickly approve nearly $50 billion in emergency aid to state and local governments, saying the money is needed to avoid “massive layoffs of teachers, police and firefighters” and to support the still-fragile economic recovery. Washington Post
The first thing we should realize is that the federal government is not responsible for teachers, firefighters or police officers unless they work for the federal government. The states AND ONLY THE STATES are responsible for the people in these professions who work in the individual states. It is not the responsibility of taxpayers from Maryland to pay for the teachers, firefighters or police officers in Michigan or any other state. Each state is responsible and using federal tax dollars to pay for these things taxes Americans twice for the same thing.
People are taxed by their states to pay for these services and then their federal tax dollars are used to pay for the same services, often because of mismanagement at the state level.
It is up to the states to decide if they can afford to pay for the same level of services or if they will have to be scaled back. The states need to decide whether or not to raise taxes to pay for these things. It is not the responsibility of the federal government and our tax dollars should not be paying it.
This is Obama pushing our tax dollars to the people in the unions. Obama has the support of the teachers and many of the law enforcement and firefighting unions (whether the individual members support him or not) and he wants to ensure he has their votes so he will pay for them with OUR money.
Obama already signed one stimulus into law and that stimulus provided for teachers and for law enforcement.
- $4 billion for state and local law enforcement agencies
- $44.5 billion in aid to local school districts to prevent layoffs and cutbacks, with flexibility to use the funds for school modernization and repair (State Equalization Fund)
Read the Wiki article and see how much money the stimulus funneled to things that will not, in any way shape or form, stimulate the economy. The total education package was over 90 BILLION dollars.
Obama spent 48.5 BILLION dollars for teachers and law enforcement and now he wants 50 BILLION dollars more. If the stimulus worked as sold then these entities would not need additional money, if we were to accept that the federal government should be paying for them at all.
The stimulus is not stimulating and it is a failure. Obama wants more money to throw at his supporters in the unions at the expense of the taxpayers and our national sovereignty. How much more debt will we accrue before we are totally owned by another country?
It is not the job of the federal government to pay for the salaries of people working for the individual states. The states are solely responsible for these salaries and if they cannot afford them then they need to make the same tough decisions that plenty of private companies have made and lay off employees.
Obama is trying to use OUR money to pay off the unions and to pander for their votes. We should not be paying for these things and it is criminal that we paid for them with the first stimulus.
Let us not keep making the same mistakes by continuing to throw good money after bad on an economic folly.
Never surrender, never submit.

OK to Kill Bush, Not Obama or Clinton Though
Jun 4, 2008 Political
Some time ago a movie came out that depicted President Bush being assassinated. There was some disgust expressed but the movie was allowed to play as liberals had orgasms at the very thought of it coming to fruition. That was all well and good and the poloice and Secret Service did not get involved. If they had, liberals would have been crying about freedom of speech.
Now, a man has been detained in New York because he put up an art exhibit depicting the assassination of Hillary Clinton and the assassination of Barack Obama. The art exhibit dealt with the artist’s perceived character assassination of these candidates by the media.
The police called the Secret Service and the man, Yazmany Arboleda, was whisked away for interrogation. The police and the SS were worried that his art might incite a nut to do something criminal. This man’s rights were violated.
It is perectly OK to depict Jesus in urine or animal dung on the Virgin Mary and it is even OK to make a fil showing President Bush being assassinated but God forbid someone mention the word assassinate (look how they reacted to Hillary’s comment) when referring to the two Democrats. This man was not allowed to display his art and for what reason?
I think these kinds of displays are quite stupid but I also believe that this artist had every right to put it up and the SS and police should have left him alone.
They certainly left the movie producers alone.

Sharpton Stirs Up Trouble in New York
Apr 28, 2008 General
In November of 2006 Sean Bell was attending his bachelor party at an establishment that was under surveillance by the police for alleged prostitution. One of Bell’s friends got into an argument and one of Bell’s friends was heard saying to get his gun and shoot the “white bitch” (the woman with whom the argument took place). They left and were followed by a police officer who had called for his back-up team. The police identified themselves and ordered Bell to put his hands up (while he was in his car). Instead of complying, Bell accelerated and struck an unmarked police car. The police opened fire and Bell was struck by four bullets and died of his injuries. The police shot fifty rounds in the incident.
Three of the officers were indicted on manslaughter and reckless endangerment charges. On April 25th the three officers were found not guilty on all counts. The judge in the case stated that the officer’s account of the evening was more credible than the accounts of Bell’s two friends, Joseph Guzman and Trent Benefield, both of whom survived the shooting.
Reverend Al Sharpton has been involved in this case since just after the shooting and has paid witnesses to discuss what they saw. Their versions contradict police accounts that a fourth man ran from the scene and was believed to have a gun. After the verdict on Friday Sharpton vowed to shut down New York City. He did state that he was not calling for any violence but that he and the black community in New York intended to shut down the city. Of course, Sharpton always says he does not call for violence and then his chants of “no justice no peace” end up inciting people to commit violent acts sometimes leading to the deaths of others.
Sharpton stated:
“We strategically know how to stop the city so people stand still and realize that you do not have the right to shoot down unarmed, innocent civilians,” Sharpton told an overflow crowd of several hundred people at his National Action Network office in the historically black Manhattan neighborhood. “This city is going to deal with the blood of Sean Bell.” My Way News
I was not there and have no way of knowing what really happened any more than Sharpton does. However, Bell was intoxicated and when ordered by police to put his hands up accelerated his car and ran into theirs. His friend had been heard talking about getting a gun and killing a “white bitch” and the two friends have criminal records that involve guns. If Sean Bell had listened to the police and put his hands up he might still be alive today but instead he made an aggressive move that resulted in his death. Bell’s acts, in no way, can be seen as those of an innocent man. He might have been innocent when they ordered him to put his hands up but he lost his innocence when he accelerated and ran into their car.
Al Sharpton will incite a riot and people will probably get hurt. If we are fortunate one of the casualties will be Sharpton and he will no longer be around to incite black hatred. Whites in LA did not riot when OJ was found not guilty because the court had issued its ruling, like it or not.
The incident with Bell was tragic and though I personally think that shooting fifty times is excessive, I was not there. I do not know the neighborhood or the circumstances the officers faced. I do know that a court found them not guilty of manslaughter and that is good enough for me whether I think they are guilty or not. The only thing Sharpton can do is muddy the waters more than they are and promote hatred and racial intolerance.
Thanks to my friend Kender for this bit of humor to end this post:
The Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, while visiting a primary school class, found themselves in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings.
The teacher asked both men if they would like to lead the discussion of the word ‘tragedy’. So the illustrious Rev Jackson asks the class for an example of a ‘tragedy’.
One little boy stood up and offered: ‘If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a runaway tractor comes along and knocks him dead, that would be a tragedy.’
No,’ says the Great Jesse Jackson, ‘that would be an accident.’
A little girl raised her hand: ‘If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy.’
I’m afraid not,’ explains the exalted Reverend Al. ‘That’s what we would call a great loss. ‘ The room goes silent. No other children volunteered.
Reverend Al searches the room. ‘Isn’t there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?’
Finally at the back of the room little Johnny raises his hand. In a stern voice he says: ‘If a plane carrying the Reverends Jackson and Sharpton were struck by a missile and blown to smithereens that would be a tragedy.’
Fantastic!’ exclaim Jackson and Sharpton, ‘That’s right. And can you tell us why that would be a tragedy?’
‘Well,’ says little Johnny, ‘because it sure as hell wouldn’t be a great loss, and it probably wouldn’t be an accident either!”
