Hillary the Con-Artist
Apr 22, 2007 Political
We heard her when she tried to be as country as cornbread and she sounded like an idiot. Now Hillary has done it again and this time she tries to get all countrified speaking about when she gets to the Oval office. She actually says she is afraid of what she will find when she lifts up the rug. Don’t worry about that Hillary, Bush had the carpet cleaned when your rapist husband left. The only spots still hanging around are your liver spots and the stain on that damned blue dress. Folks, enjoy this absolutely hilarious attempt at sounding like she is from the south or belongs with southern folk. She will say or do anything to get elected.

Vacations Galore and You Pay for Them
Apr 17, 2007 Political
There have been howls from the left about George Bush making recess appointments. The Democrats believe that the President is circumventing the system and in that assertion they would be correct. I can’t say that I would be happy if I were a Democrat but I can not blame the President either. He nominates a guy who gets shot down because he donated money to a group that opposed John Kerry’s bid for the White House. The nomination was opposed because of this guy’s political activities. I guess we could say that Hillary can not be President because she gave money to Democrats. Ridiculous, is it not? The underlying issue is that Congress takes too many breaks. Every time you turn around, Congress is on a break and I am not talking about a three day holiday weekend like those of us who pay their salaries get, I am talking two to four weeks at a time. They will tell you that they need time home with their constituents but I will debunk that later. First things first. If Congress does not want the President to make recess appointments then they should not go on recess. They should work 48 weeks a year like most other people (I figure an average of 4 weeks vacation, remember AVERAGE) do and they would not have to worry about it. I hear they might take shorter breaks to prevent this from happening again. If I were Bush I would appoint as many people as possible during a recess just to piss them off.
Now, on the the idea that they need to be home. Where did Pelosi spend her time off? Syria, Israel and all kinds of other places that do not sound like California. She was out trying to do an Executive Branch function while throwing in a vacation. I would like to know if any of her family tagged along and how much of the bill the taxpayer footed. As a matter of fact, over the Easter recess the Air Force flew 13 Congressional delegations around the world on one contrived mission or another. There were trips to Mexico, Honduras, the US Virgin Islands, and Belgium and on one of these trips the taxpayer paid $1,100 a night for hotel rooms. That kind of money for a hotel room makes it a vacation, not a business trip. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, who took his wife, claimed that they paid the government rate but there is no government rate where they went. He lied.
Our soldiers travel on real business and they do not get to take their wives and they certainly do not get to stay in rooms that cost more per night than they make in a month. Government employees who do not have Congressman or Senator in front of their names have to watch every penny they spend when traveling. They have to book the cheapest airfare, the cheapest and smallest rental car, a hotel room that is not one cent more than the government rate and have to pay for any meal cost that exceeds the allowed amount. Members of Congress though, claim to be going on some fact finding mission in order to take expensive vacations with their spouses and have every bit of it paid for by the American taxpayer and they act as if we should be happy that they are screwing us this way.
This country was established with a form of government that is designed to be representative. It was designed so that people would not serve forever and thus be subject to the corruption of power. It was designed to prevent us from having a king as the supreme ruler over the land. Unfortunately, we now have 535 Kings and Queens who live the life of royalty off the backs of the their subjects.
I want full disclosure of each participant’s itinerary so that I can see who paid for their spouses and how much money was spent and on what. This is something that the Democrats, who vowed to be transparent and to end this kind of abuse, should be willing to provide.

From Our Two Americas File
Apr 16, 2007 Political
We all know that the elitists in politics expect us to believe they are just like us and that they know what is good for us. In reality, they do not know (or they have forgotten) what it is like to live on a budget, shop for themselves or actually have to make ends meet. They say one thing and do another. Bill Clinton was delayed while getting a couple of hundred dollar haircut and Hillary has a stylist on her staff (she needs the help) and this is like the rest of us how?
John Edwards, the man with the Two Americas theme has shown once again that he lives in that America that he loves to deride publicly. John loves to tell everyone that there is an America for the elite rich, and America filled with extravagance and luxury and then there is an America where the rest of us (and he likes to say us as if he is one of us) live. The fact is John Edwards owns a home big enough to put both of those Americas in and he uses his wealth to his advantage like when he tries to get a game (Play Station?) ahead of those who waited in line. It has been recently reported that John Edwards paid $400 for a haircut and not just one. It appears that this is his custom when it comes to pruning his hair.
I get a haircut every two weeks and I could cut my hair for a year for $400 and still have a bit left. That includes the $3.00 tip I give my barber. Now John’s hair is no different than mine. It is comprised of the same elements and it has human DNA. It does not require some special pair of scissors or a fancy comb but he feels it is necessary to pay $400 to cut it. And John probably thinks that this is a perfectly normal thing to do.
You see, in his two Americas, all the folks that live with him on the poor side spend $400 for haircuts, live in homes large enough to be designated a country and all kinds of other bad stuff while the elite in this nation enjoy a good life. The real problem is that John thinks this is normal. He actually believes that he is one of us and that the rich exploit us without ever realizing that he is one of the rich elitists who exploits.
Another real problem is that a person who can not understand the value of a dollar well enough to know that $400 is way too much for a haircut will not understand the value of YOUR dollars when he is deciding how to spend them.
John Edwards really believes his two Americas theme. Unfortunately, in his America he is likely to run into Alice and the Mad Hatter.

Deception Gives Obama Bad Rap
Apr 15, 2007 Political
Barack Obama just could not wait to weigh in on the Don Imus issue and in doing do he knocked gangsta rap saying that the genre of music is degrading to women. He compared gangsta rappers to Don Imus and his misguided statement about the Rutgers women’s basketball team. I personally believe that what Imus said is like a Sunday Church prayer compared to what rappers say but that is just me. That kind of thinking gets me labeled as a white guy defending another white guy for talking bad about mostly black women. In reality, I think what Imus said was stupid but that he should not have lost his job, it was none of Sharpton’s business, and the only people Imus owed an apology to were the women on the Rutgers team. Getting back on track though, it would seem at first glance that Obama is at least taking up the issue of the language and persona of gangsta rap though the cynic in me would say that it is certainly an opportune time considering this has been a problem for years. I still don’t hear any of them calling for boycotts against gangsta rappers.
Obama though, is pulling the wool over every one’s eyes. He is saying all the right things and he is using the Imus situation to get some face time and press in the news but his actions speak louder than his words and Obama’s actions tell a very different story. You see, for a guy who thinks that gangsta rap mistreats women and for a guy who says he is guided by God, he has done a very strange thing. Sometime back in the infancy of his campaign, Obama enlisted the services of a gangsta rapper named Ludacris in order to help Obama connect with the young rap crowd. Here is a guy who uses the Imus situation to blast gangsta rap and he has used a gangsta rapper in order to get his message out to the kids.
I guess what Obama is telling us is, I think gangsta rappers send the wrong message about women but I am going to use them and their message to get my message out. It seems to me that Obama is sending the wrong message himself. Obama met with Ludacris to discuss the rapper’s work in charities dealing with AIDS and how to connect with today’s youth. Most of these artists have really nice charities so people think they are wonderful when all the while they are recording music that calls women hos, bitches and many other names as well as encourages violence against women and the police. Ludacris has a song titled “Ho” and here are a few of the lyrics. Tell me how Imus was the bad guy here and tell me where that jackass Sharpton is on this one:
(Chorus)
Hooooooooo (Ho)
Youza Hoooooo (Ho)
Youza Hoooooo (Ho)
I said that youza hooooo (Ho)
(Repeat 1x)(Ludacris)
You doin ho activities
With ho tendencies
Hos are your friends, hoes are your enemies
With ho energy to do whacha do
Blew whacha blew
Screw whacha screw
Yall professional like DJ Clue, pullin on my coat tail
an why do you think you take a ho to a hotel?
Hotel everybody, even the mayor
Reach up in tha sky for tha hozone laya
Come on playa once a ho always
And hos never close they open like hallways
An heres a ho cake for you whole ho crew
an everybody wants some cuz hoes gotta eat too Lyrics007
This is the music from the rapper that Obama met with to discuss young people. This is the music that Obama now says is terrible and degrading to women. Just to be clear, I agree with him on that point and if he did not use Ludacris as an ad-hoc youth advisor I might actually respect his stance (though I would still question why he never said a word about this until the Imus debacle).
It seems to me that when we were deciding on war in Iraq the blood for oil crowd made noise and said that Bush had secret meetings with oil executives. When gas prices were up last year the Democrats blamed Bush and said it was because he and Cheney were big oil men. How can we trust them to look out for your interests when they have the interests of oil at heart. To this day jackasses make this connection and swear that Bush is for the oil and that is why we can not trust him to make the right decisions and the MSM does not waste time in getting any hint of this to press or on the air. Why then, is there no mention of the Ludacris connection for Obama? Seems to me that this kind of contradiction would warrant further review. It seems to me that Obama would have to know that people would make this connection or is he confident in his newly found star status that he feels he can weather any potential storm? Maybe he thinks the MSM will ignore it, a thought I would have to agree with.
I think that this is no different than swearing to end organized crime but consulting with mob bosses. This stupidity is very similar to the boner Al Gore pulled on everyone when he made one of his National Convention speeches during his term as VP. He was crying as he told everyone about his sister who died of lung cancer. He told everyone, in his emotional chocked up voice, that his sister pulled him close and said Al, take the tobacco from the kids. Don’t let them smoke Al. She died not long after. All in all this sounds very passionate and heartfelt and worthy. That is until you know that Al Gore’s family made its fortune by growing tobacco. Yes, Gore’s family grew the poison that killed his sister. This is like the crack dealer giving crack to his sister and then crying to get crack off the streets after she dies. Amazing.
Obama should have some explaining to do. He should have to explain how it is he has suddenly had this epiphany about rap music and he should have to explain why he opposes rap while consulting with a vulgar rap artist.
He should have to, but as a Democrat he probably won’t.

Hillary’s Epiphany
Apr 12, 2007 Political
Hillary Clinton was recently interviewed when she was up with the 10th Mountain Division pretending to love the troops. This interview revolved around how she would handle, and does she lose sleep over, the idea that her failed years in the White House might come back to haunt her when her rivals start hitting hard. Clinton said she does not lose sleep and that this does not bother her. It probably does not because she believes that whatever she and her hubby did was good and that the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy is out to get them. I take what she says about such things with a grain of salt but she did make one comment that is very telling. She said:
“I’ve decided this country is worth fighting for,” she said, adding she is “distraught” about the last six years under President Bush. USA Today
Discount the part about Bush because that is the liberal mantra. Look at that first sentence. Here is a woman of nearly 60 years and she has just now decided that this country is worth fighting for. The fact that my country is worth fighting for is something that has been second nature since I was old enough to think independently. American veterans know this country is worth fighting for and those conservatives from all over recognize the same thing and would stand shoulder to shoulder to ward off an invasion. Hillary, apparently, never had the benefit of this in her upbringing.
I suppose one should expect this from a person who has spent her adult life pushing for socialism. Hillary is part of that anti war crowd that dates back to her college days during Vietnam and her days in the White House where her loathe for the military was well known. It is also interesting to note that Hillary is not talking about fighting a foreign enemy when she says this country is worth fighting for. No, what she means is “I think it is worth me fighting to become president.” She feels that the country needs to be fought for against a person like George W Bush but she does not share those same feelings when it comes to the real enemies of this country. She would very happy to have our troops cut and run (at least while the polls are on her side) and that folks, is not fighting for your country.
Hillary, I know this country is worth fighting for. I have known it since I was a very young child and that is because I was raised by decent people who had a respect for the greatness of this country. I know this country is worth fighting for against all enemies foreign and domestic. You are only interested in fighting those who are your enemies. You are a self centered egotistical elitist who cares not a bit about this great nation. You only care what you can do to stroke your own ego.
This country is worth fighting for and real Americans have known that for a long, long time. The fact that you just had this epiphany shows that you are an anti American poser. Our country is worth fighting for against all enemies whether they be internal or external.
Our wonderful troops can handle the external enemies. Those of us at home will handle the internal ones and we will start with you.
