Iranian President Sees End of Israel, US, and UK

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has predicted that Israel, the US and the UK will collapse because of “oppressive” behavior. It is interesting that anyone from Iran or any of its neighbors would talk about oppressive behavior. Look at how they treat their citizens, especially women, and then you will see real oppressive behavior.
“The Zionist regime is on a steep downhill towards collapse and disgrace,” Ahmandinejad[sic] told supporters at a rally of Basiji militia forces near Tehran today. In a reference to the U.S. and U.K., he said “the collapse and crumbling of your devilish rule has started.” The speech was carried live on state television. Bloomberg
This is the same guy who said Israel should be wiped off the map and is doing every thing he can to bring that about. This is also the same guy who was with the band of thugs who took Americans hostage in 1979. We have not had diplomatic ties with Iran since that time.
I say screw him. There have been many countries who have predicted our demise and some have tried to bring that about. I can understand why he would think that about us given that people put the Democrats back in power, a sure sign we are looking to commit suicide. Be that as it may, the only way the United States will meet its demise is if every other country on the face of the Earth is demolished. We might eventually go but we are going to take a lot of others with us. I say we start with Iran and work our way through the rest of the Middle East until none of the “oppressive” Muslims are left. Then, and only then, will the world be a safer place

Inconvenient Truth, Hurricanes Down this Year

The hype after Hurricane Katrina, besides the Bush hates blacks and FEMA should have done something, was that global warming was responsible for the devastating hurricane that took lives and left New Orleans in a shambles. Al Gore, Bill Clinton and a host of other liberals were running around talking about how we can not ignore global warming and the effects. Hurricanes like Katrina, we were told, were caused by global warming and it was only going to get worse. The people who predict hurricanes told us that this year would be worse than last and of course, Gore was on the bandwagon. Fortunately, Mother Nature saw it differently:
Barring a last-second surprise from the tropics, the season will end Thursday with nine named storms, and only five of those hurricanes. This year is the first season since 1997 that only one storm nudged its way into the Gulf of Mexico. TBO.com
It would appear, as many have said, hurricanes are caused by nature and nature has its own schedule. Despite all the claims to the contrary, hurricane season was mild and unless something terrible happens this week, it will remain mild (and I have not seen any news of impending storms).
So we can lay this to rest now; Hurricane Katrina was caused by nature, not Bush with a hurricane machine and not global warming. Maybe Al Gore would like to tell us how it is that this happened. Now that would bring out the inconvenient truth.

To Win, Democrats Will be Less Liberal

Democrats are well aware that liberal ideas do not sell to the majority of this nation. Only those truly dependent on government believe in the ideas espoused by liberalism. The overwhelming majority of this country believes in more moderate and conservative values. Democrats are so aware that they can not win when they are liberal that they ran a bunch of moderates during the last election in order to get the moderate and conservative vote. If these people had run as true liberals, they would not have won. Of course, there are ultra liberals who always win. Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, but look at the places they live and the people they represent and it is not hard to understand why they are always reelected.
The Democrats know that they had two good fortunes on their side in the last election. History was on their side in that the minority almost always picks up 25-30 seats in the house and 3-5 seats in the Senate during the midterm elections of a two term President. They also had the good fortune of running a few moderates. Now, those politicians must remain moderate when they vote or they will lose their seats. They come from very red states.
The big prize for the donks was not this election. This was a stepping stone to the White House. They want the White House so badly that they will do anything in order to win. One thing they will not do, according to them, is be liberal. Why, you might ask, will liberals not be liberal? It is because they know that most Americans do not like liberalism and will not vote for those who are truly liberal. The plan then, is to avoid doing anything too ultra liberal for the next two years so that they can fool America into thinking they are all moderate. This is why Hillary has been hanging around the center, she knows America will not elect the true Hillary, the one of Hillary care fame.
This is a deceitful practice because people will not know what they are getting until it is too late. In 2008 if the donks are successful and get the White House back and still control the Congress they will most certainly go back to their ultra liberal ways and we will have four years of that mindless form of government. If that happens, America will have gotten what she deserves and I personally hope that it hurts a lot of the lower middle class and poor very badly. I am tired of feeling badly for and trying to help people who are too stupid or too brainwashed to think and actually see what is going on. If the donks take charge I hope that these folks get screwed every which way but loose. I am hoping that this happens in Maryland after the idiot Martin O’Malley and his token take over the State house.
Enough is enough and if people can not see that the Democrats forget about them as soon as they win then the hell with them. I can tolerate the hurt a little better so I hope they get royally screwed. It serves them right. These are the folks who will be fooled by the Democrats and their no-liberal plans agenda.

Over at the Huffington Blog Marty Kaplan is having fun at the expense of both George Bushs and the annual “Pardoning of the turkey.” Kaplan uses tired old references to turkeys to indicate that while the President was pardoning the turkey, the former President Bush was pardoning his son the turkey. Kaplan is entitled to write what he wants, as are most of the other idiots at the Huffington Post. An interesting item that shows how the liberals only view what their opposition does as wrong is found in this quote:
The incumbent President won his pardon at a “leadership conference” (is that code for “speaking fee”?) where a staged speech by George H. W. Bush unleashed the opposite of cheers from his audience. [my emphasis]
Why does it matter if the event was an engagement where Bush got paid? Is this supposed to be some veiled reference indicating that speaking fees are a bad thing? If former President Bush got paid to talk there, does that make him a bad man? Finally, why mention this when the left never mentions how much Bill Clinton gets in speaking fees?
If Bush received payment to be there, that is his prerogative just as it is Clinton’s prerogative to earn money when he speaks. The reference to it being code is supposed to conger up images of Bush doing something wrong, as if receiving money for speaking is a bad thing. Kaplan might have credibility if he made the same references when writing of Clinton’s many speaking engagements but then again, it is only a bad thing when a Republican does it. Just to make it clear, so people will now and so Kaplan will have the information the next time he wants to write about a former President and the code speak for fees, here is what Hillary Clinton disclosed on her financial statement for the year 2005:
