Nancy Pelosi, Far Beyond the Left

Nancy Pelosi is in hiding awaiting word that she may select a new “suite” and hang the new curtains. She is poised to become the New House Leader if America goes down the path of destruction and allows the Democrats to take charge. The country does not need Nancy Pelosi and her politics in charge of anything. She is very liberal, more so than most, and constantly votes against the things that most Americans want in order to push her leftist agenda. Among other things, The Washington Times points out these items in her voting record:
- Mrs. Pelosi has consistently voted against welfare reform, including the 1996 bill signed by President Clinton and its re-authorization
- Mrs. Pelosi received a 100 percent rating from NARAL Pro-Choice America last year and a 0 rating from the National Right to Life Committee
- In 1998, she opposed a constitutional amendment to permit school prayer in the classroom
- In 1999, she opposed allowing state and local governments to display the Ten Commandments on public property, including schools
- She has voted against education IRAs
- In 2003, she opposed a $10 million program for school vouchers in the District of Columbia. That same year she voted against the 10-year $400 billion Medicare prescription-drug bill because she preferred one that was twice as expensive.
- Mrs. Pelosi has repeatedly voted for tax increases and opposed tax cuts, even the 2001 bill that doubled the child tax credit to $1,000
- has repeatedly voted to uphold partial-birth abortion, who has voted against parental notification when minor children seek abortion and who has shown no concern for the rights of the innocent unborn
- Mrs. Pelosi has consistently opposed the death penalty
Take a moment to review her voting record and how she ranks among Liberal and Conservative organizations. It is quite telling and shows why we do not need her in charge. Vote Republican to keep her views in the minority where they belong.

Where’s Nancy?

Since she appeared on 60 Minutes several weeks ago Nancy Pelosi has been harder to find than Waldo. Where has she been? Is she hiding to avoid any gaffes that might cost her the coveted House Leadership? Is she fuming over John Kerry’s recent slip up?
Nancy has cut and run from the race. She is in hiding waiting for the results. This, my friends, is the same way she and her Democratic cut and run crowd will handle the war on terror. They will bring home the troops and then hide hoping that all works out.
For someone who wants to be the leader of the House, she is not acting much like a leader.

Democrats Do Not Want Fair Elections

The Democrats in America do not want fair elections. They know that if the people who are allowed to vote show up at the polls they will lose because their ideas are out of touch with the mainstream. This is why Democrats have perfected the art of getting dead people to the polls. It is amazing because the only elections where they do not scream about irregularities are the ones they win. They screamed about irregularities in Washington State until they had enough recounts and enough forged ballots to win. Then, they stopped crying and deemed the election fair. Despite the fact they cheated the fair winner, they were content because it is all about them being in power.
Democrats and their comrades in the ACLU are always happy to object to basic measures to establish a fair election. They oppose requiring an ID. To them this disenfranchises people and equates to a poll tax (which is a BS argument). In this society people require IDs and anyone who votes has one. But, any place that requires an ID will provide them for free and this is still not good enough. It is considered a burden to have a person get an ID to vote. Well I consider it a burden to have people vote who are not entitled to. I also think that if it is such a burden put the government ID stations in the liquor store and you will hit about anyone who needs an ID.
In Maryland, the Republican Party put out a guide for poll watchers. The booklet is designed to assist them in recognizing fraudulent behavior and instructs them in how to report it. It tells them some things to look for. The Democrats have gone ballistic and said this is a scare tactic to keep people from the polls. What Democrats are really afraid of is that all the folks they have voting multiple times will now not be able to do so. The guide book opens with a paragraph that explains that it is the job of the poll watchers to ensure each person who is entitled, gets to vote. Then it tells them:
The guide describes out how to challenge voters’ credentials and urges volunteers to tell election judges they could face jail time if a challenge is ignored.
The G-O-P handbook, obtained by The Washington Post, states, “Your most important duty as a poll worker is to challenge people who present themselves to vote but who are not authorized to vote.” WBAL
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this book. It has been used in the past. The Democrats know this will be a tight election and they are worried that their the tactics they used to win in the past will be nullified by astute workers. The Democrats, lead by Elijah Cummings, are decrying this as some method to intimidate voters. I can not understand this mentality because when there were problems in Florida, the donks said they wanted people who are entitled to vote to do so. When Maryland had problems in the primary, the donks demanded that things change so that people who are entitled to vote, vote. As soon as a party teaches its workers how to address fraud, they cry that this keeps people from voting.
To the Democrats, if a person comes in and does not know his middle name or date of birth, that is no problem. Let the guy vote, I mean you can’t expect everyone to know that stuff. Besides, he is probably a veteran and John Kerry told us they are dumb. To a person who is truly concerned with the integrity of the process, this person needs to be checked a little closer. Republicans in Maryland know how Democratic fraud can change elections. We witnessed this in two recent Governor’s races in which the losing Republican was beaten by all the dead folks who dragged themselves to the polls.
Democrats like Elijah Cummings and Ben Cardin cry about this as a scare tactic and Cardin said that we can all bet the books would not be used in Republican districts. Sure they will and they should. The Democrats have their version of this and it involves NAACP or Michael Moore types with cameras filming what goes on. This is definitely intimidating but Republicans do not cry because the bulk of the corruption lies with the Democratic party and that is why they oppose simple measures to ensure the integrity of the voting process.
The book provides people watching elections information to ensure that everything is fair. The Democrats do not want fair because they are obsessed with obtaining power. For the first time in many, many years Maryland is in play. Robert Ehrlich is in a dead heat with Martin O’Malley and Michael Steele is a few points behind Ben Cardin. The Democrats are bringing in all the big guns, most recently Clinton and Fox because this state’s dynamics are changing and the pendulum is beginning to swing to the right. This is something they do not like so they will cheat every way possible.
I urge all election volunteers to enforce the rules completely. Do not allow the Democrats to intimidate you. If they intimidate you then they are likely breaking the law. Call the police and have them arrested. But whatever you do, you can not allow Cardin and Cummings or any other donk to intimidate you.

Terrorists Want Democrats In Charge

If people think that Republican talk about leaving Iraq being a bad idea is political rhetoric then they should listen to what the enemy has to say about the subject. Republicans contend that leaving Iraq before the job is done would embolden the terrorists and allow them to claim victory. This in turn would lead to more attacks on an America perceived as weak. Democrats and their cut and run policies are not believers of this philosophy. WND interviewed terrorist leaders and this is what they had to say:
Everybody has an opinion about next Tuesday’s midterm congressional election in the U.S. – including senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WND who say they hope Americans sweep the Democrats into power because of the party’s position on withdrawing from Iraq, a move, as they see it, that ensures victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.
The terrorists told WorldNetDaily an electoral win for the Democrats would prove to them Americans are “tired.”
They rejected statements from some prominent Democrats in the U.S. that a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency, explaining an evacuation would prove resistance works and would compel jihadists to continue fighting until America is destroyed.
They said a withdrawal would also embolden their own terror groups to enhance “resistance” against Israel. (emphasis mine)
Here are the words of the terrorists and they are telling us they want Democrats in power because Democrats would withdraw from Iraq. They indicate they would claim victory after withdraw, continue jihad until America is destroyed, and become emboldened to attack Israel. The terrorists, in their own words, are confirming the Republican stance on the consequences of leaving Iraq before the job is completed.
The Democrats have told us they are tougher on national security but their leadership is hell bent on leaving Iraq and handing victory to the enemy. They are determined to see America defeated. We can not allow this to happen and that is why it is extremely important for everyone to get out and vote and to cast a vote which ensures Republicans retain control of the Congress.
To do anything less is to hand victory to the enemy and that is treason.

John Kerry Has a History of Insulting the Military

In 1972 John Kerry filled out a questionnaire for a group called Massachusetts Political Action for Peace. In that questionnaire, he was asked about the military. Here are a few of the things he wrote:
“I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown,” Kerry wrote. “We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam. I also fear having a professional army that views the perpetuation of war crimes as simply ‘doing its job.’
“Equally as important, a volunteer army with our present constitutional crisis takes accountability away from the president and put the people further from control over military activities,” he wrote. WBAL
Notice that Kerry was convinced an all volunteer Army would be the poor, the black and the brown. His statement about war crimes also illustrates that he believes professional Armies perpetrate war crimes. He did not say he fears they would be more prone to or might have more incentive, the sentence states it as a given in the premise. Kerry viewed a professional Army as criminals.
I also notice that Kerry mentions a Constitutional crisis. Is there never a time for Democrats when there is not a Constitutional crisis? Oh, yes I forgot. They only see a Constitutional crisis when Republicans occupy the White House. All other times are good for them.
John Kerry disrespected and dishonored the troops upon his return from Vietnam when he protested and called them rapists and killers. He again showed the low regard he had for them when he filled out this questionnaire. Is it any wonder he continues to disrespect and dishonor our troops today? Kerry loathes the military and he has demonstrated that since he was a long haired protester. He only uses his service for political gain and to excuse himself when he insults the real heroes.
He is a disgrace and his past is once again showing his true colors.
Here is the complete questionnaire. Read it and you will learn a lot about Kerry. Considering Halloween was several days ago, this is a fitting story of frightful answers.
