New Take On Clinging To Guns

Not long ago (though it seems like eons in this never ending nightmare called the elections) Barack Obama said (about people who are frustrated over economic conditions):
“And it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
This caused a firestorm because people realized that Obama, the elitist, had insulted the millions of people who are either religious or own guns, or both. He told his elite friends that people “cling” to religion and guns out of frustration. It never occurred to Obama that people own guns for a number of reasons and frustration has nothing to do with it. Unlike Obama who attended church to participate in radical racism and for political gain, most people have religious beliefs, not because they are frustrated, but because they believe in a being higher than themselves and they have faith.
Now we have a new attack on people who use their guns to hunt and this is all because of Sarah Palin. Congressman Alcee Hastings, the former federal judge who was impeached for criminal activity, was participating in a panel discussion sponsored by the National Jewish Democratic Council. Hastings was trying to drum up Jewish support for Obama and he stated this:
“If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention,” said Hastings. “Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through.” ABC
Since Hastings said I should think it through, let me do just that. This is nothing more than the Ebonics version [one would think he would have better grammar] of what Obama said. Hastings told Jews that because Palin hunts game and cuts up what she kills, she does not care what she will do to Jews and Blacks. Does Hastings think that Palin will shoot Jews and Blacks and then field dress them? How about the millions of other hunters in this country? Because they hunt, do they not care much for Jews and Blacks? How does this apply if the hunters happen to be Jewish or black? Did anyone else pick up the racist comment embedded in this statement? He did not say “don’t” care much what they do to others, he said blacks and Jews. The unstated message is, this white woman kills animals so she don’t care what she does to Jews and blacks. Race baiting at its finest.
There are many Jewish butchers who prepare meats a certain way to ensure it is Kosher. They slaughter animals and drain the blood out of them and then butcher them up. Does the Hastings logic apply to the Jewish butchers? Do they not care much what they do to blacks and other Jews?
This was a ridiculous statement and shows what an absolute moron Hastings is. This is fear mongering, the very thing that Democrats say Republicans engage in.
Barack Obama is in favor of allowing children who are born alive after an unsuccessful abortion to be left to die. Is it safe to say that any person who will let newborn children be left to die “don’t” care to much what he will do to anyone regardless of color or religion?
I will say this though. Black on black crime, especially in major cities, is a huge problem. All the cities run by Democrats and with large black populations have high numbers of blacks who are murdered by other blacks. These criminals gun each other down and often kill innocent bystanders. Seems to me that this should be a major concern for the black “leadership” in America. You see, by failing to address the issue they demonstrate that it is they who care little about blacks.
When was the last time you heard about a hunter going around a city shooting people?
Hastings should stick to something he knows about like committing graft and corruption.

Refocus Debate to Black on Black Violence

In my last post I wrote about the Sean Bell incident and the threats by Al Sharpton and others to close down New York City. The tension is mounting in New York and now Congressman John Conyers of Michigan has flown to Queens to join those who will participate in civil disobedience after the officers involved in the shooting were all found not guilty. Conyers and others are in contact with the US Justice Department asking that they file federal charges against the officers. It seems to me that this is the business of the state of New York and the federal government does not belong meddling in it. If charges are brought, ever cop in New York should walk off the job and let Al Sharpton and John Conyers try to keep the peace.
There was a meeting on Sunday where people noted that Bell was one name on a long list of people who were victims of police brutality. A person named Clarke [not otherwise identified in the article] had an interesting thing to say:
“The scales of justice are out of balance,” Clarke said to applause as some in the audience hissed that the scales were never balanced to begin with. “We will not see another generation of African-American men being shot down without there being justice. We will be focused like a laser until justice rains down.” WCBSTV
Let me clear this up for all the race baiters who are involved in this. The shooting of Sean Bell was, no doubt, tragic but he was drunk and did not obey the police who feared for their lives after Bell rammed one of their cars. His accomplices have been involved in gun crimes before and were believed to have guns. This one case does not equal many cases and while there have been reports of police brutality (against all races) they are rare when compared to the number of encounters police have with criminals.
What these race baiters need to do to keep another generation of African Americans from being shot down is to police their own. The major US cities are filled with young black men who are killing each other every single day. Black on black crime is out of control and blacks are killing hundreds of their own people every single day. There were nearly 300 murders in Baltimore City last year and the overwhelming majority of them were black men killed by other black men.
If these so called leaders want to end the violence against blacks in communities across America all they need do is stop young black men from killing each other. Bill Cosby has tried to address this issue and he was shunned for airing the dirty laundry of the black community. The problem is real and all too common in those very communities. About 70% of black households have one parent and the impact of gangster rap on young black men cannot be discounted.
If Sharpton and Conyers want to make an impact they need to start in the major cities across this country and encourage black men to stop killing each other. More black men will be killed by other black men this year than will be killed by the police.
If you want brutality, look no farther than your own communities.

Will Sharpton Require Clinton to Quit?

The Reverend Al Sharpton, our aging antisemitic race baiting poverty pimp makes a name for himself by going after white folks who say things that he thinks are racist. He recently got himself involved in the business of the Golf Channel when one of their female reporters used the word “lynch” while discussing Tiger Woods. Woods took no offense and said it was a dead issue but Sharpton started in. The reporter got 14 days off.
Then of course, there was the Don Imus incident where he referred to a women’s basketball team as a bunch of “nappy headed hos”, a remark that brought Sharpton out in full force. Imus went on Sharpton’s radio show and applied his pursed labia to Sharpton’s ample gluteals but that was all for nothing because Sharpton raised a stink and CBS fired Imus rather than risk losing sponsors to a Sharpton protest and Jew killing spree.
This leads me to Bill Clinton. It is no secret that the Clintons know how to play dirty politics. For all their crying and whining about Republican dirty tricks, the Clintons sure know a few themselves. The Clinton campaign, and particularly Bill, has been engaged in covert racism with regard to Barack Obama. Now they can say that they meant something else and all that but their pattern is to put it out there and apologize after it has had a chance to fester. When Hillary got her head handed to her in South Carolina Bill compared Obama to Jesse Jackson and though it was reported to be an off-the-cuff remark, it appeared as if he was saying; “It was just a brother getting support from the other blacks.” It was seen as minimizing Obama. Before anyone takes me to task, I don’t care what they say and I am happy that Democrats are finally getting a taste of how it feels to be accused of being a racist for a minimal or harmless remark.
Having said that, I also know that perception is often reality and the black community found the comments offensive. Don Imus made a great point when he said that if he had made the Jackson comment he would be before Sharpton again. That is a true comment. If Imus, or any other white person (especially a Republican) had made the Jackson comment Sharpton would be out inciting riots and getting Jews killed. But since Bill Clinton said it, it is ignored by the race baiter.
If Sharpton were consistent (he is in it for the money and nothing else) he would be demanding that Bill Clinton be removed from the campaign and then demand that Hillary drop out. He would threaten her donors (sponsors, if you will) with all kinds of ugly things and he would be telling us that there would be blacks protesting in all states to keep Hillary from winning. In short, he would be giving them the same treatment he gave the reporter and Imus.
Instead, it is ignored or if Sharpton had an opinion he expressed it and moved on. He did not make the demands that he makes of others who dare to offend him and his black sensitivities.
On ABC’s “The View,” Sharpton said voters are hearing “race charges, race-tinged rhetoric” in the Democratic primary campaign, and called on the former president to cease.

Sharpton didn’t say which comments in particular bothered him. But many Democrats were particularly upset that the former president made an explicit comparison of Obama’s campaign to Jesse Jackson’s victories in South Carolina in 1984 and 1988, in an apparent attempt to explain why his wife didn’t win the South Carolina primary on Saturday. As this item from ABC shows, he was bothered by the racial part of it but he just told Bill to shut up. He did not give Imus that rebuke. Instead he helped get him fired.
Maybe Sharpton has left Bill alone because Hillary is constantly on his case and riding his butt hard about every little thing. Maybe Bill gets a free ride because his wife is a nagger…
