Quit monkeying around with racism

Pat Buchanan has an interesting piece up at Human Events where he talks about how Bill and Hillary Clinton have been called racists by the very people who viewed him as the first black president. He discusses his view that Obama and his people have shouted racism at anything and everything and therefore have defined the parameters of what is allowed to be talked about. He notes that John Mccain has already said what is off the table for the general election and that by allowing the opponent to dictate the terms the results are usually defeat.

This is evident in Marietta Georgia where a pub owner is selling shirts with a picture of Curious George on them with the words Obama 08 underneath. This has certain groups of people up in arms decrying the racism involved in using a picture of a monkey to depict a black man. Protests are planned outside the establishment where groups opposed to the shirt will gather:

The Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the Nation of Islam and the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials were among the organizations expected at Tuesday’s rally.

“Mulligan’s is promoting and selling racially offensive T-shirts, and Marietta and Cobb County residents and taxpayers abhor and cannot condone, any longer, this type of divisive and incendiary behavior in our community,” said Jerry Gonzalez, executive director of GALEO. AJC

The owner said that he is not racist and feels that Obama resembles Curious George. The groups are not buying it and they want to put an end to calling black people chimps. I want to know when it became bad to call a black guy a chimp but OK to call a white guy one. For the last seven plus years the left in this country has referred to George Bush as Chimpy, Chimpy McBush, and Chimpy Bush. His picture has been altered to make him look like a monkey and yet none of these people who protest today said a word. Bush’s face was placed on the body of a handicapped person in an ad for the Special Olympics, not a word.

First of all, I think the owner might be right. Obama does kind of look like Curious George. If he says he is not a racist and that this is the reason he picked the picture then I am OK with that. He should not let others decide the boundaries for him as the Obama backers will want to do. If these people cared about how people were treated they would have protested all the references to George Bush and a chimp. Here are a few, just for fun. Google Bush chimp and see what comes back.

From Hot Air, a short on Saturday Night Live
Time Magazine search for chimp (it is in the comments)
And this site called The Smirking Chimp (look at the picture in the title)

There are 142,000 results in Google for the search phrase “chimpy bush” so it is safe to say that the phrase has been used quite a bit. Add the nice Hitler phrases to it and you have people equating our president with a maniacal killer who happens to be one of the most despised people of all time. And yet, people are upset about Obama being compared to a cartoon character (sounds like the Mohammad cartoon issue).

Like I stated, I take the guy at his word but even if he meant it to be offensive I don’t care. I don’t care about the protesters (which curiously includes the Nation of Islam, hmmmm) because they are not interested in fairness. They kept quiet while this was being done to Bush and now want to complain because it involves Obama. I would not be surprised if half of them referred to Bush as a chimp or as Hitler. To hell with them. They can all suck wind as far as I am concerned. The only thing I want to know now is how I can get one of those shirts.

The last item to offer is this. Maybe they are right to be upset that Curious George is being used to represent Obama. After all, Obama is not 100% black. He is half white. Perhaps it would have been OK if the picture was of a zebra or an Oreo cookie. I also don’t want to read about context and slavery and all the other crap that is used to justify behavior. If it is bad for one group it is bad for the other, period. Otherwise, what goes around, comes around.

Hats off to the owner, Mike Norman for exercising his right to free speech.

Frank Rich of the NYT Should Look Left for Racists

Frank Rich of the New York Times has a piece out today asking why Obama’s pastor has received so much scrutiny when McCain’s has not. Rich is referring to John Hagee, an absolute nut job, who has endorsed John McCain. According to Rich, Obama’s pastor, with whom he had a 20 year relationship, is no different than a man who endorsed McCain and with whom McCain had no other relationship. Hagee is not and was not McCain’s pastor.

Rich addresses this difference by stating there is no difference between Obama sitting there in Wright’s church and John McCain actively (Rich’s assertion) seeking Hagee’s endorsement because by doing so he is agreeing with the lunacy that comes out of Hagee’s mouth (just as Obama did by being in Wright’s church).

The entire story boils down to Rich’s claim that America is a racist country and that there is double standard because Clinton and Obama are scrutinized for every perceived racist remark while the racism of the Republicans is ignored. Rich “proves’ his point by indicating that there are no blacks among all the Senators and Representatives in the Congress who happen to be Republicans. Rich tells us that gays (Foley) have a better chance of getting elected in the GOP than blacks.

I have gone through this before but I will do it again for the benefit of Frank Rich whose Obama tinted glasses have obscured his thinking. First of all, the Democrats are not being scrutinized any more on subjects of race. The Democrats have never been taken to task for their racism until this election cycle that just happens to have a black man in it. Republicans are always the subject of allegations of racism. Anytime a Republican makes a remark cries of racism abound. This is standard operating procedure. The claims do not have to be true, just some half baked idea fostered by race baiters who blow it out of proportion while, I might add, the public ignores the racist remarks of those doing the crying.

Democrats have never been taken to task for their racism. They have always been held up as the champions of race relations yet under them blacks have slipped father and farther into poverty. Welfare programs keep blacks subservient to government and under the oppressive thumb of their slave masters in the Democratic party. Democrats are always quite happy to court the black vote, which votes for them at a level of 90% in elections, and then ignore them until the next election. Affirmative action and housing projects are the Democrat’s way of telling blacks they are not capable of making it on their own but not to worry because government is there for them.

This leads me to the idea that the GOP has no elected blacks in Congress. This is a matter of demographics and math. The math is, 90% of blacks support Democratic candidates so we can conclude that 90% of them are Democrat or believe in what Democrats represent. If 90% of the black population is Democratic where does Mr. Rich think the GOP will find black people to run for office? Only 10% remain and out of them how many are qualified (Constitutionally) or want to run.

Demographics show that most black Democrats come from urban areas. They come from cities where there are huge numbers of blacks and where the political climate is overwhelmingly Democratic. Blacks who happen to be conservative would never run in these areas because they cannot win. For Rich to claim this is GOP racism is absolutely out of touch with reality. Even blacks who live in conservative areas would not want to run for office and not because of white conservatives. Look at how the Democrats and particularly black Democrats act when a black person runs for office as a Republican. The name calling begins and the names of sell out and Uncle Tom do not come from the right. These names come from blacks in the community who wonder how a black would dare be a Republican.

Look at the Maryland Senate race from 2006 when Michael Steele, a black conservative, ran for the Senate seat being vacated by the retiring Paul Sarbanes and he ran against Joe Cardin, a white Democratic Congressman. Michael Steele was portrayed unfavorably by Democrats. He was shown in a black face photo-shopped picture and referred to as Sambo. He had Oreo cookies thrown at him and one of Cardin’s bloggers wrote terrible things about him and his race was a big part of it. These were all Democrats doing this to a black man. BTW, Steele was the Lieutenant Governor of the state and was the highest-ranking elected Republican black in the country. Republicans will elect them when they can overcome Democratic barriers.

Steele lost the race but he did not lose because whites refused to vote for him or because they did not want him in office, as Rich would have you believe. The heavily Democratic areas of Maryland (and areas with huge black populations) voted for Cardin. As those areas go so goes the state. Steele carried almost every county where the population is strongly Republican and overwhelmingly white (he won 18 subdivisions to Cardin’s 6). This should put to bed Rich’s claims and show that it is Democratic racism that prevents black Republicans from being elected.

The entire Rich story is right out of the leftist play book. The interesting thing is that he makes this an issue of McCain/Obama when the issues right now are all Obama/Clinton. Despite Rich’s attempts to make this about conservatives smearing Obama with his pastor’s words while ignoring McCain, the fact is it is the Democrats who are smearing the man (why should Republicans chime in when they are doing a good job of beating each other up). Republicans are not part of their primary process. All the negative stuff is coming from the left. Instead of asking about McCain’s “pastor” Rich would be more accurate if he asked when they were going to start looking at Clinton’s pastor.

I am sure the Democrats will get to McCain and the people with whom he associates when they finally settle their own contest. Until that time people like Frank Rich should stop muddying the waters with half truths and outright lies sprinkled with innuendo.

Yes Mr. Rich, there is a race problem in this country and it is from the Democrats and from people like you (but I repeat myself). People on the right are called racists and they have been labeled racists but in reality it is those on the left who display racism all the time.

Blacks would do themselves a world of good by changing parties (which would put a lot of black Republicans in Congress). Short of that they need to follow the words of Bill Cosby and stop blaming the white man for all their ills. It would help if white men like Frank Rich would do the same.

Bill Richardson’s Gutter Talk

Governor Bill Richardson endorsed Barack Obama last Friday in a move that was only surprising to the Clinton campaign. I suspect that Richardson waited until he was pretty certain that one or the other would at least get the pledged delegate win (Obama cannot lose that) and then endorse in hopes of securing a spot in that person’s administration, should that person win. It happens that Obama is in the lead so Richardson screwed his old pals the Clintons and joined in the Obamamania. James Carville likened Richardson to Judas by stating that the anniversary of Judas selling out Jesus for 30 pieces of silver was here and that it was appropriate that Richardson sold out the Clintons at this time (as if they are anything like Jesus).

When asked about the comment Bill Richardson said that he was not going to get into that kind of rhetoric:

“I’m not going to get in the gutter like that,” Richardson said of the comments from informal Clinton adviser James Carville. “And you know, that’s typical of many of the people around Senator Clinton. They think they have a sense of entitlement to the presidency.” Breitbart

It is interesting that Richardson would bite the hand that fed him for so long but what is more interesting is that he would fail to see that the Clinton and Obama campaigns are really not that different. They have both had people leave for saying the wrong thing and there has been mud thrown from both sides. I guess Richardson was not aware that an Obama adviser likened Bill Clinton to Senator Joe McCarthy. That is no more or less worse than being compared to Judas but it is mud slinging that does not seem to stoop the the level of gutter that Richardson equates to the Clinton campaign.

I do not disagree with Richardson that the Clinton campaign has a sense of entitlement. However, there is the same sense in the Obama campaign and among his supporters. There are those who believe that he is entitled because he is a black man and it is time for a black man to be president. There are those who are voting for him based solely upon the fact that he is black. So there is a sense of entitlement in the Obama camp as well. Richardson has ignored it because he is now in the Obama corner so he appears stupid when making such statements. If Richardson had endorsed Clinton we would see the same thing from the other side.

I am not surprised that an opportunist like Richardson jumped on the Obama bandwagon. He is looking for another job in government and figures Obama will win and give him one. I am also not surprised because Richardson is a big supporter of ILLEGALS and wants to allow them to flood in and take over and ruin America. He fits in well with a guy like Obama who attends the Trinity Madrassa with all its anti American, anti white, hate speech.

Richardson had better hope that the Super Delegates do not override the pledged delegates and pick Hillary because he will not get anything in a Clinton administration. Richardson will also be lucky to survive until the convention given the history of those who cross the Clintonista crime family.

Pastor Wright’s Easter Sermon

I have received the transcript of Obama’s Pastor. He will deliver it on Easter. Obama will be at the beach so he will likely not attend. This is satire but it might be offensive to some…

Transcript:

Can I get an amen?
Can I get an ayyyyy men?
Can I get a hallelujah?
I said can I get a Haaa laaa leww yaaa?

Brothers and sisters I have come out of retirement to deliver a sermon about the resurrection, not the resurrection of the Obama campaign because those federal agents in the rear are here to ensure I do not violate the tax laws. They are white devils sent by the white devils in government to stifle my creativity. But we are here to discuss the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a black man who was put to death by the white devils of the time. Yes brothers and sisters, the whites put Jesus to death for healing the sick and helping the poor. They nailed him to a cross for preaching about Gawd. Jesus, a black man, dared to say he was the son of Gawd and we know that whitey cannot stand Gawd being called black, but black he is so to this day we are targeted. By speaking truth to power we end up with federal agents watching our every move.

Jesus Christ lived a modest life. He was born to a black couple and they were ostracized by the whites who said a savior could not be a black man and that unmarried couples should not have children. Jesus’ father Joseph was a carpenter by trade but could not get a job because of the racism of the time, a racism that continues to this day. They were not allowed to rent a home and had to travel around the desert. When Mary was ready to deliver the family went to an inn but were forced to sleep in the barn with the animals because the innkeeper was a racist who believed blacks to be no better than animals.

After Jesus was born three wise men showed up with gifts of bling to show praise for the newborn black King, a descendant of David. The happy family had to leave quickly because some cracker King wanted all black babies killed not unlike Planned Parenthood wants to do today. They traveled around the desert because no one would rent them a place to stay and when Brother Jesus got older he began to teach in the Synagogues. Jesus tried to teach the Jews but they were busy scratching through the sand in search of diamonds and paid little attention to what he said. As Jesus grew older he was loved by many but the white community became increasingly afraid of this educated brother who could raise people from the dead. They did not want some uppity nigger showing them up so they planned his demise, much like they are doing to a man running for president.

Jesus caught wind of this and his followers began to chant Gawd Damn Israel because the diamond merchants were helping the whites plot the demise of the Christ. Jesus was charged and brought before Pilate who believed him to be innocent but since he was a black man Pilate did not want to be too open about this. He offered the Jews the chance to release Jesus as a Passover gift but the Jews picked a white criminal instead. As usual, the black guy gets punished while the white criminal walks free. Even then, the system of justice was skewed against the black man.

The Jews refusal to release Jesus gave the whites the chance to crucify him. Some cracker smashed a crown of thorns on his head and they made him carry a heavy cross to his crucification site and which made him too tired to fight. They laid him down and an ancestor of George Bush nailed him to the cross with nails made of the same steel that the white devils used to shackle us for the trip to slavery. They hung Jesus from that cross and showed him little mercy. Then they stuck a sword through his side to ensure he was dead.

A few brothers got together and asked that they be allowed to entomb Jesus which Pilate allowed. But Pilate put a few guards there to keep brothers from stealing Jesus’ body and claiming he arose from the dead. On the third day Mary visited the tomb but it was empty. She thought some cracker stole Jesus but he appeared to her. Then she took him back to the hood so he could rap with the other brothers about being dead.

The Jews refused to believe that Christ had arisen and to this day have been damned by Gawd to live in turmoil. The whites were able to escape and create majority populations in Europe and America and they enslaved blacks to keep them from obtaining the greatness Jesus showed was possible. To this day Gawd has kept us blacks under wraps and oppressed us for allowing the whites to enslave us. He is finally allowing us to speak out and allowing a brother to run for president.

Gawd started all this by creating 9/11 so the whites would be more focused on Muslims than blacks because their racial hatred knows no bounds. Today we mark the resurrection of Jesus as the beginning of the end of the white race. We must rise up and kill the white snake by cutting off its head and leaving it to die. We will then rise up and rule the world as Gawd had intended.

Can I get an amen?
Can I get an ayyyyy men?
Can I get a hallelujah?
I said can I get a Haaa laaa leww yaaa?

The Race about Race

Barack Obama’s website takes issue with the Fox and Friends morning show and the fact that they spent a great deal of time discussing the use of the phrase “typical white person” which Obama used to describe his grandmother. Chris Wallace was on air to promote his Sunday show and took the time to say he disagreed with the attention that Fox and Friends had shown with regard to this one item. The campaign wrote on its site:

We appreciate Chris Wallace for doing his job as a tough but fair journalist on a network that has been deeply irresponsible over the last week in its unrelenting and sensationalistic coverage of Senator Obama.

Senator Obama gave the speech he did on Tuesday because he believes that Americans are ready for a thoughtful, mature discussion about race, and are hungry to move past media-generated controversies that distract from the struggles they face in their everyday lives.

If Fox News wants to play clips of the same offensive sound bites every day from now until November, that’s their right, but that type of coverage does a disservice to their viewers and to a nation that is facing serious challenges that merit thoughtful and honest reporting.

As I stated before, Obama has a lot of issues with Fox News but when the story about Pastor Wright was in full swing Obama went on Fox to discuss the issue. He knows that he will need white voters to win the general election and some of them will have to be conservatives, the audience that Fox has. So Obama had no problem with using Fox to his advantage. Now that the network airs Obama’s statements and discusses them, he again has issues with the network.

There is nothing wrong with discussing what Obama said. He made a racist remark about white people whether he intended to or not. Many white people have lost jobs and careers because of a statement that was not intended to be racist but was perceived that way. Race hustlers like Jackson and Sharpton see to it that the black sensitivities are known to all even when they are promoting lies to advance their agendas.

Suppose for a moment if someone had asked Hillary Clinton what she thought about Pastor Wright’s statements and she replied with; “well, he is a typical black guy so he is going to feel that way.”

Anyone who thinks that a statement like that would go unchallenged is living in a fantasy world. The race baiters would be screaming bloody murder and demanding that Hillary apologize and abandon her presidential aspirations. Obama makes a racist statement, intended or not, and then cries foul when he is taken to task for it. To Obama this is a media generated controversy. The media did not tell Wright what to say and the media did not make a typical white (or black) remark. Wright and Obama are the ones who are solely responsible for the statements and the controversy associated with them. Obama can try to deflect the blame but the blame for what he said rests on his shoulders.
