Shouldn’t Obama Return His Peace Prize?
Sep 23, 2014 Political, Religion of Peace, Terrorism
During the last presidential campaign Mitt Romney was portrayed as a war monger stuck in the past while Obama was portrayed as the hip young guy in a new era where everyone loves us. No aggression necessary because Obama is well loved around the world. Elect Romney and you get more war and poor relations with the Russians and the rest of the world as well.
Romney was absolutely correct about Russia and Russian leader Putin keeps rubbing Obama’s nose in his excrement just to prove it.
Romney was correct about the consequences of removing troops from the Middle East (as was George W. Bush).
Romney was correct about Syria and now we are seeing just how correct.
Romney was the war monger but it is Obama who is conducting all the military operations. It was not that long ago (during the campaign) that Joe Biden (Idiot, DE) claimed that Romney wants to go to war with Syria. Elect that man and you will be at war in Syria.
He [Romney] said it was a mistake to end the war in Iraq and bring all of our warriors home,” Biden told an audience in York, Penn., on September 2, 2012. “He said it was a mistake to set an end date for our warriors in Afghanistan and bring them home. He implies by the speech that he’s ready to go to war in Syria and Iran. National Review
Well, a new play on an old joke, they told me if I voted for Romney we would be at war in Syria and they were right. It is the Nobel Peace Prize recipient Barack Hussein Obama who is waging war in Syria.
I do not disagree with attacking terrorists but then again I never thought we should have stopped. Barack Obama and his progressive toadies were the ones talking about holding hands and signing hippie love songs while Romney was painting a picture of reality. Romney was absolutely correct and there is no way to refute that fact.
[note]Obama previously said the fighter jets now being used in Syria were outdated and unnecessary.[/note]
Romney was not the ideal candidate but he was leaps and bounds better than Obama. Romney had a grasp of what was going on in the world and has real world experience. If he had been elected it is highly likely that the economy would be much better and we would not have these conflicts and foreign policy nightmares.
The world knows that Republican administrations are strong on national security and will ensure America is safe no matter what it takes. The evil doers around the world know they can pick fights when liberals are in charge because liberals have no spine.
Obama accepted a Nobel Peace Prize that was nothing more than a participation trophy because he never did anything to warrant the thing. He was given the prize based on expectations. He said he was going to make peace in the world and they believed him so rather than wait and see they gave him the prize in advance.
Looks like they were wrong as Obama has waged war and has not given us peace.
Perhaps Obama should return that peace prize.
They can replace it with a dunce cap.
UPDATE: Maybe he won’t have a choice in the matter…
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

When Bush Did It The Left Went Nuts
Sep 23, 2014 Opinion, Terrorism
Let me start off by saying I agree with bombing ISIS and any other terror group and I think the US should keep it up. I would say to bomb them back to the Stone Age but since they already live in that era I say bomb them back to before they existed. I have no problem with attacking them where they live rather than waiting for them to come here. I have no problem with preemptive strikes.
But I am not the problem here because I never held the view that we should not attack them.
Barack Obama and ALL the Democrats who opposed George Bush did though. They derided Bush for waging war in Iraq when they claimed Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and never attacked us. Afghanistan was the good war, they said.
So during Bush’s terms we had Code Pink and the rest of the anti war crowd along with the Democrats screaming about Bush’s War and George Bush attacking a nation that never attacked us, blah, blah.
Barack Obama arrived on the scene fresh from his community organizing state and US Senate gigs to claim the mantle of anti war hero and to stop George Bush’s illegal wars.
The US, along with coalition partners, has begun bombing ISIS and other terror groups in Syria. Syria has never attacked us and ISIS has never attacked out country. Yes, they murdered some Americans but they did not come to our home nation and attack us. Do I think we should avenge their deaths? Certainly but then again, I am not the problem.
The problem lies with those who were so vocal in their opposition to George Bush who now remain silent as their messiah attacks an enemy in a sovereign nation, one that did not attack us. The problem lies with those very groups who said we should not be at war and who told us to try and understand the other guy’s side of things.
Where are these groups now? Where is Nancy Pelosi? Where is Harry Reid? Where are the protest groups that were so up in arms about the Iraq war? Where are these people when Barack Obama is basically doing the same thing they attacked Bush for?
They are curiously silent on the matter.
George Bush got Congressional approval before he waged war and Barack Obama did not. George Bush told us exactly what would happen if we announced the date we were leaving and pulled completely out of the region and what he said would happen, did.
Barack Obama was against the war in Iraq and he campaigned on ending it. Barack Obama campaigned on what he perceived to be the lawless and unconstitutional acts of Bush and now he is doing the very things he campaigned against.
These people are hypocrites and it would do the nation well for them to lose their jobs in November (for those up for reelection). Barack Obama is a disgrace to this nation. Is he doing the right thing now? I think it is right to attack the enemy but I always did.
He did not. This is what happens when you have a progressive Alinskyite with no work experience, no military experience (and who actually loathes the military) and no real life experience running things.
Community organizers are rabble rousers, not leaders.
The left remains silent because it is their messiah who is doing the things they previously opposed.
We need to rally as a nation while we are at war but that does not mean we can’t question the integrity of the leader who took us to war.
If the nation had questioned that integrity during the campaign we might not have a hypocrite and first class amateur running things now.
And in all likeliness there would be no need for more war because the enemies would fear us.
No one fears Obama because he lacks anything resembling manhood and he is certainly not a warrior.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Mitt Romney Was Right
Nov 15, 2013 Obamacare, Political
Mitt Romney said a lot of things during the campaign and after he said them Barack Obama and his media minions took great pains to tell us how Romney was wrong. Yes, Romney told us that up to 20 million people could lose their health insurance but Obama told us if we like it we could keep it, PERIOD.
So that settled it for the fainting crowds of worshippers. Obama deemed it so it must be so. Now millions are losing their health insurance.
Romney also warned about world affairs but was scorned by Obama who told him the Cold War ended a long time ago. Looks like Mitt was correct there as well. Watch this video and it will seem like Romney was psychic.
Mitt Romney is not a conservative. He is more moderate but either way he would have been infinitely better than Obama. Romney has real world experience, is a businessman, has leadership experience in government and understands world affairs and the economy.
In short, he has all the qualities that Obama lacks.
We would be a lot better off if Romney had won the last election. Anyone who watches this video and still thinks Obama was right should not be out in public without one of those padded head protectors.
Hillary Clinton supports all the stuff Obama is doing so if you think she would be a better president you should seek therapy (hope you still have insurance).
If you are losing your insurance and can’t enroll and/or afford Obamacare and you voted for him then you got what you deserve and what you voted for.
Suck it up cupcake.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Obama Embraces Bush Doctrine
Sep 10, 2013 Political
The Bush Doctrine of preemption is one that has given liberals like Barack Obama fits. They are opposed to military action but generally only when Republicans want to take it. Liberals, even those who really are opposed to violence, are mostly silent when one of their own is proposing military force.
Barack Obama, the alleged Constitutional Law professor, seems to have a few problems. First, when he was a candidate, he stated that the president does not have the Constitutional authority to attack another nation unless the US has been attacked or there is an imminent threat.
Now the Constitutional Law Professor is saying he has the authority to do just that. He is working on plans to attack Syria even though that nation has not attacked us and there is no imminent threat to us from Syria.
It would seem that a liberal Constitutional Law Professor is one who believes the Constitution authorizes whatever a liberal wants to do. Simply put, it is a flexible document that can be interpreted as a liberal sees fit.
Before John Kerry said that Syria could hand over its chemical weapons to avoid a strike Barack Obama was working on getting authorization to strike Syria. Obama believes he can strike without Congressional approval but is seeking it anyway. It is rough going as many oppose a strike. Obama was on several news shows to make his case and this is what he had to say when trying to justify the strike:
“But we are the United States of America. We cannot turn a blind eye to images like the ones we’ve seen out of Syria. Failing to respond to this outrageous attack would increase the risk that chemical weapons could be used again; that they would fall into the hands of terrorists who might use them against us, and it would send a horrible signal to other nations that there would be no consequences for their use of these weapons. All of which would pose a serious threat to our national security.” [emphasis mine] UPI.com
So, in this long drawn out roundabout way, the chemicals in Syria might end up in the hands of bad people who would use them against us so that is an imminent threat and we can strike Syria. This is a stretch by any measure but if this is the path Obama wants to follow the question becomes how is this any different than the Bush Doctrine of preemptive strike that liberals violently opposed? I see the difference in that there is no actual threat the chemicals could be used against us. It would be different if Syria threatened to use them on our troops in the area. This is a threat and could justify a preemptive strike but saying that some third party might get them and then use them on us is several layers removed from being a threat.
But if this is how Obama is playing it then he is trying to claim the right to a preemptive use of force. The very use of force liberals decried when Bush used it.
The reality is that if we allow Obama to use this contorted view we could basically justify preemptive force against anyone. North Korea or Iran might lose control of their nuclear materials and a terrorist group might get it and use it on us so let’s bomb North Korea and Iran.
Someone might steal Russia’s smallpox virus and sell it to terrorists who might use it on us so let’s attack Russia.
This is the theater of the absurd.
Not to mention the reality that if we attack Syria and destabilize things (even more than they are) there is a greater risk that Syria will lose track of chemical weapons which then could end up in the wrong hands.
In other words, the act Obama wants to prevent (or that he is using to justify force) might be aided by the very attack designed to prevent it.
Yep, it is still amateur hour at the White House.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Amateur Hour At The White House
Sep 9, 2013 Political
First Barack Obama makes an unwise comment about a red line and now John Kerry has given a deadline. Both of these deeds have come back to bite America in the behind.
I know that Barack Obama said he did not lay out the red line but he did. It is he who is saying it and there is no doubt about what he meant when he did. All of his claims to the contrary are designed to help him save face because he is trying to put the blame on someone else. He put it on Congress and he put it on the international community (which refuses to back him) but the reality is that Obama opened his mouth and inserted his foot.
He claims the onus is on the international community because of the Chemical Weapons Convention but the reality is that Syria never signed that treaty. How can that country be held to a treaty it did not sign?
The other aspect of this is that Syria’s use of nerve agent had no impact on the US. That country did not attack us, it did not attack our territories and it did not attack our troops. It attacked its own people (and there is doubt as to who actually attacked, the government or the rebels).
This is Syria’s civil war and we do not belong in it.
But Obama and his Democrats are banging the war drums. John Kerry, who protested the war in Vietnam, is working hard to convince people that the US needs to attack Syria. The Democrats who were anti war when Bush was president are largely silent over the rumblings of war coming from their Nobel Peace Prize receiving president.
It is amateur hour at the White House. Obama made the first mistake by laying out the red line and now John Kerry has shot himself in the foot by opening his mouth.
Kerry said that Syria could avoid an attack by turning its chemical weapons over to the international community (where they would be inventoried and destroyed). Kerry, like Obama, miscalculated. Obama figured if he set the red line that Syria would not use chemical weapons. Someone did and it was either the government spitting in Obama’s face or the rebels using Obama’s declaration to draw the US into the conflict and help them beat Assad.
Kerry figured Syria would not turn over its chemical stockpile. Not so fast. Russian President Vladmir Putin told Syria to take Kerry up on his offer and Syria is considering it.
It is unlikely that the chemical weapons will be turned over BUT the gaffe by Kerry gives that country time. Syria can say it will turn over the stockpile and then the UN will get involved and there will be inspectors. It will take months, if not years, to sort things out.
John Kerry opened his big mouth and gave Syria a get out of being bombed free card.
It is not bad when one considers we should not be bombing Syria over its use of chemical weapons when we were not attacked in any way but the entire episode shows the Obama regime to be a bunch of amateurs who are piss poor at diplomacy.
Obama opened his mouth resulting in talks of bombing Syria for the sole purpose of saving face for the resident and Kerry has now thrown a monkey wrench into the Obama war machine by giving Syria a way out.
A way out that was recognized by Putin who took advantage of the rookies in the White House.
The world is laughing at us and our man child resident who is demonstrating that he was not prepared for the job and has not learned anything in the five years he has held it.
The bad guys in the world will be emboldened.
But not until after they stop laughing.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.
