It Will Get Worse If We make Them Legal

The gang of eight and all the other politicians who desire to make the shadowy illegal aliens in America instantly legal keep assuring us that once these folks are out of the shadows they will not receive welfare. In case you live in a cave someplace (which is silly because you would not be reading this) welfare is paid for with tax dollars. People work hard for their money and then some of it is extorted from them by government who then hands it over to those who do not work, cannot work, or are not earning much money.
Welfare was designed to be a social safety net but it has become a wealth redistribution scheme run by the government to keep people dependent on the politicians. Vote for us and we will keep paying you with other people’s money.
There is proof that once illegals are given some sort of legal status they will get welfare. One big one is the Senators who have proclaimed that they will get the money. That pretty much indicates there is no push to ensure it does not happen.
Another good indication is that billions of dollars in taxpayer money is spent on welfare that goes to people who should not get it. People in prison are getting checks. People who are dead continue to get checks that their families are undoubtedly spending. There are billions of dollars wasted in the welfare scheme.
Another strong indication that those newly legal people will get our tax dollars is the fact that many of them are getting our tax dollars as ILLEGALS.
A woman in Florida who is in this country illegally and has been for at least 20 years is drawing $240 a month in food stamps and $700 a month in Social Security and she has been getting this money for 20 years. She is 50 years old so that means we have been supporting her since she was 30.
The amount of money she gets and whether or not she can live on it is not material to the issue. The real issue is that she is here illegally and is receiving welfare money.
How in the name of all that is holy can our government claim those illegals it deems to be legal will not get welfare money when it cannot stop the illegals from getting it? This woman is but one example that is surely repeated all across the nation. The linked article indicates that Florida has a lot of food stamp recruiters and they have a goal; to increase federal aid to Florida by a billion dollars a year.
These people are working to get folks on the welfare rolls whether they are lawfully eligible or not.
Our tax dollars are being wasted supporting people who squirt out a litter of children or bring in their families (this woman has 7 people to feed) while we work our butts off to make ends meet.
The members of Congress working on immigration reform say that tax dollars in the form of welfare will not be given to those newly legal people but we all know this is a lie.
We have a problem with illegals for two very basic facts. The first is we have an open border and we refuse to secure it. The second is we give illegals welfare. If we did not pay them our money to come here they would stay home.
It is time to tell Congress to drop all ideas of making these people legal. We need sweeping reform that includes purging all the welfare rolls of people who are here illegally. Couple this with e-verify and workplace enforcement and these people will eventually self deport.
Let’s solve the problem by making them go home rather than making them legal (thus rewarding them for their crime) and paying them to be here.
Enough is enough.

Obama Will Pay Contractors To Violate Law

The federal government passed a law known as the WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) Act. This law requires employers with more than 100 employees to give at least a 60 day notice of an impending (or possible) layoff. Some states require a longer notice but the federal government says that 60 days is the minimum.
Last year during the budget debates the members of Congress agreed to get the budget in shape OR automatic cuts would take place. A huge portion of the cuts will come from the Defense budget which means that a lot of defense contractors will lose contracts and the money associated with those contracts. This also means that they will have to layoff or fire a lot of employees.
So, in accordance with the WARN Act these contractors (if they have more than 100 employees) must notify any of their employees who might be affected (layoff or fired). That 60 day period means the layoff notices, those notices REQUIRED under federal law, would go to employees about a week or so before the November 6th presidential election. Oops, looks like a lot of ticked off contractors will head to the polls knowing that they will likely lose income because of Barack Obama and his pathetic policies combined with the Democrats in Congress who refuse to pass a budget.
Not so fast. In an effort to keep workers from getting those notices prior to the election the Obama regime is asking contractors NOT to comply with the law. Yes ladies and gentlemen, the Obama regime is asking contractors NOT to send notices to their employees which means they are asking them to break the law.
Not only that, the regime is telling these contractors that if they do not comply with the law the government will reimburse them for legal costs associated with the cancelled contracts. So, Obama tells them to violate the law and then says he will pay them for any legal costs associated with breaking the law.
This is obviously ILLEGAL and shows the Chicago mob mentality that permeates throughout this White House and the Obama regime. These people are part of a criminal enterprise and they do not care who knows it.
Some contractors have taken the promise of a federal payoff and indicated they will not send out the notices. It looks like the bribe might work.
But make no mistake people, if there is no budget agreement people in the defense industry WILL get laid off. They will get laid off at the same time they would have if the notices were sent in compliance with the law. The only thing that is different is they will not get a notice and the federal government will pay legal fees associated with that.
If you work for the affected companies do not be fooled. Notice or no notice you will get laid off. Just to be clear, Obama is bribing YOUR bosses to ignore the law and screw you so he can get reelected.
The rest of you in America, pay attention. The money the government will pay in these bribes will come from YOU. The government can only function through money it confiscates from us. It will use the taxes we pay to bribe companies to ignore the law.
Do you want to keep people who do these kinds of things in office?
Really?
Some members of Congress have vowed to keep tax dollars from being used in this fashion but I have little confidence they will actually pursue this course of action. Let’s face it, most have little testicular fortitude.
I expect the notices to go out in compliance with the law and I expect liberals to be up in arms that Obama is asking companies to break the law. I know it is tough for you libs but pretend it is Bush asking companies to break the law and act accordingly.

Obama Did Not Go Quite Far Enough

Let me start off by saying I applaud Barack Obama for announcing a freeze on the pay of federal employees. As many employers let employees go or freeze salaries it is time for the people who are paid by the taxpayer to have their pay frozen as well. Obama finally came on board with what Eric Canter had proposed quite some time ago. Back then Democrats thought it was a gimmick but at least they have come around.
I am serious when I say this is a good first start but Obama did not go far enough. If the people who work for government (and we can debate that there are too many and the number needs to be cut but we do need people to work for government to make it work) then those who receive money from the government and DO NOT work for it need to have their allotments frozen as well.
NO MORE extensions of unemployment. You have your 99 weeks (and we need to reduce that) and bam, you are frozen out. No more welfare increase, you get what you get and that is it. I do not care if costs go up, you need to learn to live on a tight budget. In fact, these programs need to be under more scrutiny so we can see who does not really need to be on them. If you have flat screen TVs (and/or cable), a few cars, a house and cell phones then you need to have your benefits (as if you deserve a “benefit”) cut or eliminated. We are in a budget crisis and we are freezing the salaries of workers who are paid with tax money so it is only appropriate that we freeze or eliminate the payments of tax dollars to those who are not doing anything to earn them.
Obama took a good first step but he needs to go farther. He needs to freeze out the people who are getting taxpayer money and not doing a thing to earn it.
If federal employee’s pay is being frozen (and I am on board with that) then those who are getting checks for doing nothing should be frozen or, better yet, pared down or eliminated.
While we are at it, we should force all elected officials to take a 20% pay reduction.
We will see where this goes because Congress needs to approve it.

Evil Insurance Will Get $336 Billion From Obamacare

In order to cover most people with insurance, including those with preexisting conditions, the government will try to impose an unconstitutional law forcing everyone to purchase insurance. The only way for those evil insurance companies to make money insuring everyone no matter what, is to force everyone to buy insurance. This will place millions of young, healthy people in the mix paying more so that everyone can be covered.
But to help the poor purchase insurance the government will kick in $336 billion which will go right to the very evil insurance companies that Obama complains about.
To help pay for the new insurance requirements the government would give to people money to buy insurance – $336 billion over the next ten years. That money, ultimately, would have to go to… drum roll… insurance companies. ABC
Complaining that insurance companies are evil and make too much money and then paying them to insure people makes as much sense as spending money when you are broke in order to fix the economy.
The real evil here is the government. It will take away our right to choose (where have we heard that) and force us to buy health care insurance. Funny how the right to choose when it is abortion is sacrosanct but having the right to choose whether to buy insurance or not is not.
For all the money they want to spend to takeover our health care they could just buy policies for those who are uninsured and save billions upon billions.
Only in America can a politician deride a business while giving it money.
