David Miranda, the partner of Glenn Greenwald, was detained in the UK under that nation’s terror laws. He is not a terrorist, has no terror ties (that have been made public), comes from a nation that is not on the terror watch list and has not engaged in terror. He was held nonetheless, for nine hours and his electronic devices were seized. He was released but his stuff is in the hands of the law.
Why did this happen? Well, Miranda and Greewald have been revealing the information provided by Edward Snowden. These guys have shed light on the dark and possibly illegal spying the US is doing on its own citizens.
The US government was given a heads up about Miranda being detained but denies being involved or asking that it happen.
Whether the US specifically asked or not is not important. What is important is that a person was detained without cause because he has been involved in the reporting of illegal acts the US government is involved in.
Tyrants do not like it when their tyranny is exposed. It does not take long for them to go after those exposing the illegal activity.
This incident might have opened a can of worms as Greewald has vowed to make his reporting more aggressive because of the incident and he warned the government he would expose more spying secrets indicating Britain would be “sorry” for the detention.
Reports indicate that Miranda will sue the UK government over the detention and I hope he does.
Nations are using terror laws to impose upon people not involved in terror in any way. The UK is not the only nation to do it. In the US terrorism laws are used to enslave people, to infringe upon their rights, and to allow the government to do what it wants in the name of fighting terror.
Police departments are being outfitted for war and that war is against the people. They can claim it is because the streets are dangerous but how often do we see these well armed police departments entering gang infested areas with their weapons of war and armored vehicles to flush out and capture or kill gang bangers? How often do they use these items to engage the drug cartels or the illegals running around causing problems?
We hardly see that because they are too busy rousting people from their homes and infringing on their rights.
The Constitution does not allow our Armed forces to be used against us but that is being circumvented by a government that is building up an army of police officers throughout the nation.
An army that will one day be deployed to enforce a police state and to further stomp on our liberty.
Unless they remember their oath…

Would Zimmerman Adorn The Cover?

Rolling Stone Magazine has a new face on the August cover and it is Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the lone surviving Boston Marathon Bomber. Evidently the magazine did an article on the bomber and decided to put his picture on the cover.

This has not been well received by the commenting public as most see this as a slap in the face and an honor for the terrorist who murdered and maimed a number of people. You see, it used to be an honor to be pictured on the cover of the Rolling Stone.

I will admit that I have never bought the magazine and have only read a few articles from it when they were presented to me either online or by someone who had a copy.

This guy, for some reason, has a following of people who appear to love him. He is a murderer who took the lives of a number of people and maimed many more. He disrupted the marathon, the nation, and the lives of the people involved. He is a puke who will be found guilty of murder and terrorism.

George Zimmerman was found Not Guilty of murder and manslaughter in the Trayvon Martin shooting. He seems to be more hated than the terrorist who took lives with intent to do so. People will make excuses for Tsarnaev (and blame America) while demonizing Zimmerman.
Do you suppose Rolling Stone would ever consider putting Zimmerman on the cover? I would bet if you asked them to do an article on him and put him on the cover they would think you were nuts.
How could we put Zimmerman on the cover? Why, that would turn our readers off? We would lose money.
But somehow the terrorist is OK?
I don’t get it. Like I stated, I have never bought it but the magazine has every right to put whomever it wants on the cover.
I just wonder how long this nation will survive when people like Tsarnaev are held in high regard by anyone at all while George Zimmerman lives in constant fear as a reviled murderer when he did nothing more than defend himself from the attack of a drug addled thug wannabe.

Obama Regime Drones On

The Obama Regime has released a memo indicating that the US can order the killing of US citizens if the government thinks they are involved with terrorists. The government has left definitions open to interpretation which means that it can effectively justify killing any American in other countries.
This whole action takes away the due process Americans enjoy.
The rationale for this is to preemptively strike those who might cause us harm even if there is no proof they will do so or when they might actually do it. In other words, if the government thinks you are a bad person who might someday try to do bad things to the US then you can be murdered by a drone strike whether or not there is any evidence you are in the process of doing something bad.
It would appear as if a person could make statements that America is a Great Satan and should be knocked to its knees and then have a drone wipe them out. Basically, the memo denies First Amendment rights in the absence of any actionable intelligence. If they think it then it must be so…
The Regime claims that this does not violate the ban on assassinations:
“A lawful killing in self-defense is not an assassination,” the white paper reads. “In the Department’s view, a lethal operation conducted against a U.S. citizen whose conduct poses an imminent threat of violent attack against the United States would be a legitimate act of national self-defense that would not violate the assassination ban. Similarly, the use of lethal force, consistent with the laws of war, against an individual who is a legitimate military target would be lawful and would not violate the assassination ban.” NBC News
How is killing an American who meets this definition not an assassination when killing the president of Iran or the leader of North Korea, both of whom fit this description, would be?
This is all about preemption. If the government thinks you might be a threat it can preemptively attack and kill you with a drone.
Does anyone remember the Bush Doctrine of preemption? The left went bonkers over that and yet they seem to be quiet about the Obama Doctrine of preemptive murder of Americans. Does anyone remember how upset everyone on the left got over enhanced interrogation techniques? The Bush White House presented a legal memo indicating that the procedures were not torture and that it was all legal. The left still went nuts.
Where are they now that Obama has his legal team say it is OK to murder Americans on a whim?
How long will it be before the Regime decides that it is legal to use drones IN the US to wipe out those who might someday pose a threat?

Obama Lies; Will He Blame Bush?

On 9/11/2001 George Bush was president and our nation was attacked. There was no delay in announcing that we were the victims of a terror attack. As the nation braced for further attacks and began to get its war face on the president was announcing that the people who did this would soon hear from us. The term War on Terror became commonplace.
On 9/11/2012 Barack Obama occupies the White House and our embassy in Libya is attacked and four Americans, including our Ambassador, are murdered. How did Obama respond?
He and his regime immediately claimed that some obscure anti Muslim movie was responsible despite all evidence to the contrary. To this day he and his sock puppets parrot the idea that this movie caused the issue. The initial response was that the attack was not coordinated and it was just some random act. Yes, the regime failed to provide security, and considering the date should have beefed up security, and was blowing that off by claiming the attack was a spur of the moment, uncoordinated event.
But the regime did not believe this. Barack Obama and his security apparatus labeled the attack as a terrorist attack within 24 hours of it happening. Since Obama has practically outlawed the use of the word terror the regime must have been pretty convinced to use that very word in its internal characterizations.
Obama LIED to the American public. The only people who believed the lie were the morons who will vote for Obama because of a “free” cell phone (paid for by the taxpayer). The rest of us, the productive and thinking part of the nation, knew right away that the events were acts of terror and that they were an act of war initiated against the US.
The Obama regime used this event to violate the rights of the movie maker by having him brought in for questioning. His right to free speech came into question by the regime. It is bad enough that this man’s rights were violated but the fact they were violated despite the regime knowing the attacks were coordinated terror attacks should send a clear message that Barack Obama will lie and throw Americans under the bus in order to retain power.
Obama knew the attacks were terror attacks but chose to lie. Was it because the attacks demonstrated the failure of his policies? Was it because he knew that being unprepared for a terror attack on 9/11, of all days, is a demonstration of his complete lack of competence?
The reality is that Obama is not a leader. He is a politician who wants to impose his Socialist ideas on the nation. He is in cahoots with the radical Muslims and because of his inflated ego and incompetence, Americans are dead.
While the Democrat controlled media is concerned with a private remark Romney made it ignores Obama’s complete incompetence and the fact that he and his regime LIED to us for political gain.
We need to take the trash out on November 6th.

Is Al Qaeda In Your Coke???

Who would’ve ever dreamed on that beautiful Indian summer Tuesday morning, we’d be dealing with police swabbing what we buy to drink at the airport? Latex gloved goons with what appears to be a strip, which could test your urine. Swabbing your drink, after the cattle prod occurs Bought from the airport food court…What? Is this the land of the free, home of the brave?
I suppose all those immigrants Neil Diamond wrote about in his smash hit, “Comin to America”, feel just a bit ripped off today. The “Disney World Country” envied by so many is quickly becoming a “Nightmare in Manhattan”. You could never make me believe that on that beautiful blue sky day, my future would appear so dark today. Even on the brightest day I see so many slumped shoulders walking the streets.
Here we are, eleven years after such a traumatic and devastating act of terrorism was launched on this union, and we’ve sunk to body scans, genital probing, and now swabbing our drinks looking for explosives…Fourth amendment be damned, they MUST keep us safe….Safe from who??
Meanwhile, the border doors are wide open…Is your head beginning to cock just a bit? The very people who must scan you, prob you, and swab you, have the welcome sign up at the border. ICE agents are suffering legal damages for asking someone who can barely converse in English to show legal proof of residency in our country.
Maybe this is the “twilight zone”….the “outer limits”….a horrible sweat drenching nightmare..My solace is a 70,000 seat stadium in Charlotte that could not be filled, so they lie a little more and tell the herd they’re protecting them from thunderstorms to move inside a 20,000 capacity facility. are they swabbing those drinks, or spiking them? Who believes this nonsense?
How did I get to a place where planes that purposefully crashed into the worlds tallest buildings, I could actually fear my government more than those monsters who took over those planes? Can someone please pinch me….wake me up from this insidious nightmare…When…WHEN, will America have had enough!!!!
