FBI “Finds” Terrorist
Nov 27, 2010 Political
Now, I have to tell you, I’m not big on government conspiracies. Seriously, most of the time I don’t believe the crazy theories. Of course, what’s crazy or not is certainly open to interpretation. But I have to tell you, when I read this news about the “Somali-born teen,” I started to wonder.
I read carefully into the story, and I’m not sure I could find any crimes. Well, other than those committed by government, of course. And the strangest line of all is the now-standard FBI press release: “the public was never in danger, authorities said.”
Read the story carefully. The FBI provided everything. They provided the tip. They provided the fake explosives. The FBI provided the van. They provided undercover agents. The helped with the planning that was undertaken “without any instruction from a foreign terrorist organization.” The FBI even provided a test bomb that they detonated.
In other words, this 15-year old just showed up when he was asked to. On his own, it appears quite unlikely that this kid could have gotten any bombs, detonators, or anything to bomb anyone. But when the FBI gave him ideas, gave him supplies, provided him with secret agents, bombs, fake bombs, and a van, the kid says, “Ok, cool.” Then the kid goes to jail for life.
While I’m well aware that many Muslims do want to destroy America, this is yet another case where it certainly appears to me that the FBI spent millions of dollars just to make themselves look like they’re catching the evil bad guys.

Created Terrorist?
Oct 28, 2010 Political
So, all the world is abuzz with the news that a terrorist was caught in DC, planning to destroy the world some terrorist act in Washington. It’s so scary that New York City is scaring people issued a note to themselves that they need more government money are in danger.
To ensure people get scared a lot everyone understands, the reports scream mention that the man is a “home-grown terrorist,” which is much more dangerous than your average, every-day terrorist. Of course, the man was born in Pakistan, which is just like being born in Washington, DC, apparently.
But, to justify their salaries calm the fears of people, the FBI has assured everyone that no one was ever in danger, because the only people that talked to the terrorist were FBI people. In other words, the plot was created, manufactured, planned, and put into play by the FBI. And they found someone who followed their instructions and took some pictures. In other words, this guy may never have had any intentions of doing anything to anyone — until the FBI showed up and asked him to. And he is being held without bail and is going to be prosecuted with “classified material” — which means this guy is never going to be seen or heard from again.
But hey, at least that $400 kazillion dollar Homeland Security Budget is showing results, right?

The Other Nuclear Talks
Apr 15, 2010 Political
Barack Obama is in DC with the heads of other countries to discuss the need to reduce the nuclear arsenals that countries have and to make it harder for terrorist groups to obtain nuclear material. It has been reported that great progress has been made.
The progress in Iran, that is.
In what seems to be a recurring theme, Russia made an announcement that looks like it was timed to embarrass Obama. The nuclear reactor that Russia is building in Iran will be up and running by August. Not to worry though, we have been assured that the reactor is for peaceful purposes and we have no doubt that is the truth because the peaceful, sane, leader of Iran has told us so. If he were some kind of Holocaust denier who wanted Israel wiped off the map then we might have something to worry about.
Interestingly, there seems to be a great deal of concern that Iran might have other ideas on how to use the reactor and could — Wait for it–use it to produce nuclear weapons.
And to top it off, Syria has delivered long range missiles to Hezbollah. Hmm, long range missiles and nuclear material, I wonder what could happen if some nut put those two together…
Good thing the rational leader of Iran and the anti terrorist group Hezbollah are the ones in possession or things might get bad for places like Israel.
It is also fortunate that Obama had all these leaders here to tell them America would be reducing its number of nukes and got these folks to sign on that they would make it harder for terrorists to get their hands on nuclear material. Otherwise a country like Russia might build a nuclear reactor in a country that sponsors terrorism.
Thank God Obama is on the case.
Kind of makes me wonder though, why there was discussion about what Americans should expect in the event a nuke detonated here. As an aside, the 72 hours discussed here is standard for a federal response (like it was in Katrina, which was met). However, I am willing to bet (and I hope I never have to find out) that it will be much longer than 24-72 hours if a nuke detonates here.
But we have nothing to worry about. The Russians have told us that they will work hard to keep terrorists from getting nuclear material and I am sure they will get right on that right after they get paid for building terrorists a reactor to make their own nuclear material.
Looks like Israel will be making a surprise visit to Iran sometime around September.
Never surrender, never submit.

Islam Was Hasan’s Motivation
Nov 19, 2009 Political
The call for restraint came out just after Nidal Hasan murdered soldiers at Fort Hood. Barack Obama told us not to jump to conclusions because jumping to conclusions is only reserved for Obama when he is referring to cops who arrested his buddy.
Of course we can’t forget that we need to be careful so that diversity in our military does not become a casualty. That would be the real tragedy, according to some.
There is no doubt, regardless of what anyone says, that Hasan was motivated by his Islamic ideology. He communicated with a known terrorist recruiter and he inquired about innocents being killed in suicide attacks, a feat he failed to master when he was wounded instead of killed.
Hasan was inspired by his religion and all of the warning signs were glaringly present throughout his career. Those who witnessed his radical ways did not report them out of fear of being labeled as anti Muslim. That is correct, people in the military did not report this maggot because they were worried about how they would be perceived or treated. This is political correctness run amok.
Because people were afraid to report this terrorist and his radicalism, people were murdered.
Hasan told his terrorist buddy Anwar al Awlaki, I can’t wait to meet you in the afterlife.
Looks like Hasan will have to wait a bit longer for his part of the meeting because he did not die in the attack. He will have to wait until he is convicted and put to death before he can set a table and wait for his spiritual adviser who appears to be none to eager to actually die himself.
Hasan was motivated by his religious beliefs and he was allowed to fester because political correctness kept those who saw his evil from reporting it.
But forget about those murdered as long as our diversity does not suffer.

Commander In Chief Visits Fort Hood Wounded
Nov 10, 2009 Political
The only problem is that it was the former Commander in Chief and not the current one. While Fort Hood is picking up the pieces and soldiering up, while the FBI is finally investigating the shooter’s ties to terrorism (and yes, there are ties), Barack Obama has not visited the wounded. He has yet to even visit the post (he is scheduled to saunter in today).
President George Bush and his wife Laura went to Fort Hood for a private visit with those wounded by the first Islamic terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11. George Bush always cared about the troops and often visited with them at Walter Reed.
The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit, a source told Fox News. Fox
I know that running this country is a full time job but it seems to me that Obama could make an effort to get to Hood quickly to visit with the wounded and reassure the families of the dead. Let his Chicago thug buddies call up and ask him to make a pitch for the Olympics and he is on Air Force One jetting halfway around the world. When Michelle decides it is time for her date he hops on our plane and takes her to New York.
Let an Islamic terrorist kill American soldiers at the largest military base around and he fails to post.
And people wonder why the military has little use for this guy. The military, by and large, loved George Bush because he respected them and led them. He certainly did not leave them hanging for reinforcements while he stuck his wetted finger in the political wind to see what to do.
Bush was genuine and this idea is just reinforced by his visit to the wounded at Hood.
There should be no doubt by now that Hasan had ties to radical Muslims (who are praising what he did) and that he was making contact with al Qaeda sympathizers (and possibly members). His murder spree was motivated by his religion which makes him an Islamic terrorist. Yes, the government and the media tried to steer everything away from that fact but the evidence is mounting up and that can only mean the biggest terrorist attack on a US military base, in the US, happened on Obama’s watch and it was conducted by a guy who supported Obama.
The guy who did it was not a right wing conservative, or as Napolitano would put it, a domestic terrorist, but instead by a radical Muslim.
We are being told not to jump to conclusions (like say, Obama saying the police acted stupidly) and that there is a worry about backlash against Muslim soldiers. I don’t see that backlash taking place. The only soldiers who were targeted were non Muslims.
And they were attacked by a radical Muslim.
George Bush has been out of office for 11 nearly 11 months but he went to visit the wounded.
Maybe Obama had a tee time that kept him from paying a visit…
